Meanwhile, on Kashyyyk…

Commander Gree who had just received the order from Palpatine to execute Order 66 replied, "It will be done my Lord." With that, he cut off the communication and turned to where Yoda was standing, with two Wookies on either side of him, plus another clone behind him, and the Commander readied his blaster rifle, and walked towards the clone.

The nodded to each other and pointed their blasters at the Jedi Master, preparing to shoot him.

But Yoda was too aware of what was happening behind him to let that happen.

Instantly, he pulled out his lightsaber, flipped backwards, and in a single strike, decapitated both the clones.

Even as their bodies fell down, Yoda became aware of the Wookies, Chewbacca and Tarfful growling in worry, and deactivated his lightsaber.

Chewbacca and Tarfful exchanged a couple of growls and then began to slowly run forward. Chewbacca stopped near Yoda and extended his left arm, allowing the small Jedi Master to climb it up and onto his back. Yoda proceeded to seat himself on Chewbacca's shoulders even as the Wookie began to run forward.

Meanwhile, on Utapau…

Obi Wan swam through the water, his aqua breather clipped in his mouth as he pushed himself forward with his arms. He reached a rock wall and quickly rose to the surface. He pulled the breather out of his mouth, placed it in his utility belt and slowly but steadily began to climb the rock wall.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the rock wall, just above the lake, not too far way, a probe droid flew past.

Back on Coruscant…

Anakin, worried as he was for the younglings, quickly scanned the corners using the force before entering each passage as he led them towards the temple hangar.

He sensed several clones here and there, and ended up killing a few. As painful as it was, there was no other way. He had to do it, or else the children would be dead.

As he passed through a corridor, he sensed Master Shaak Ti in her quarters nearby.

He rushed there, with the younglings following him, and found her being surrounded by clones near her doors.

He quickly slashed at the clones and killed them, thus managing to save the Jedi Master.

Shaak Ti turned to Anakin and said, "Skywalker, something has happened. The clones seem to have turned on us. I was just meditating when they burst in and attacked. If it hadn't been for you..."

"Master," Anakin spoke, "The Chancellor is behind this. He's a Sith Lord. I'll explain everything later, but first we have to get to the hangar. Master Windu should have a ship ready."

"Then let's go now," Shaak Ti replied.

Together, Anakin and Shaak Ti, leading the younglings, fought their way through the oncoming clones, and at last, managed to make it to the hangar.

Mace was currently standing right next to a gunship which looked like it was ready for liftoff. Artoo, Anakin's astromech droid, had moved towards Anakin's starfighter, a green Eta-2 interceptor.

Upon seeing Anakin and Shaak Ti entering, Mace yelled, "Come on! It won't be long before those clones come in again!"

Anakin turned to Artoo and shouted, "Artoo, get into the starfighter. Keep on our tail."

Artoo beeped in response and used his jetpacks to lift himself into the hole meant for him in the left wing of the starfighter.

Quickly, the Jedi managed to get the younglings into the gunship although it was a tight squeeze.

Mace powered up the engines and took off from the hangar. Artoo followed suit.

And then, Mace heard Anakin calling out, "Look over there! That platform! We can save that one! He's by himself! He'll get killed!"

Meanwhile, at a landing platform, Senator Bail Organa of Alderaan, having seen the smoke rising and rushed to the temple, was currently being approached by a few clones.

"What's going on here?" Bail demanded.

"There's been a rebellion Sir," clone Commander Fox of the Coruscant Guard replied, "Don't worry, the situation is under control."

Bail nodded but suddenly, Fox lifted his blaster and pointed it at the senator saying, "I'm sorry Sir, it's time for you to leave!"

"And so it is," Bail replied calmly before starting towards his speeder.

Suddenly, there was the sound of a lightsaber igniting and the next moment, a Jedi padawan, looking barely ten years old, jumped in between and began cutting down the clones.

"Get him," one of the clones shouted as the others began to shoot at him.

Suddenly, there was the sound of an approaching ship, and the next moment, a figure none other than Anakin Skywalker, jumped down to help him.

Anakin deflected the incoming bolts yelling, "Jukassa Get aboard! Master Ti, pull him inside."

The padawan, Zett Jukassa looked up, and saw none other than Master Shaak Ti extending her hand towards him and crying out, "Reach for me."

Mace in the cockpit yelled, "Ti, there's more coming our way. We have to do this fast."

Shaak Ti looked at Anakin and cried out, "Anakin, quickly, we have to leave."

Anakin, having just killed a couple more clones, looked at her and force lifted the Zett towards her.

Shaak Ti grabbed his hand even as Anakin jumped as high as he could and managed to get onboard before the gunship headed away.

Bail looked at the gunship and proceeded to jump into his speeder and drive away as fast as he could.

He couldn't believe what he had seen.

The clones were turning on the Jedi.

He had to do something.

Meanwhile, Anakin cried out, "Master Windu, get us to Padmé's apartment. We'll need a bigger ship than this."

Mace said, "Alright. I hope she's alright with us using one of hers."

As they neared the senatorial complex, Anakin's heartbeat quickened with worry and flashes of his dead mother flew through his mind. He had a feeling that something horrible had happened. He only hoped that it would not turn out to be that something horrible had happened to Padmé.

A few minutes later, Anakin was running towards Padmé's starship which had not been started up yet. And he saw Captain Typho and some handmaidens of the former queen of Naboo standing, all looking horrified.

He approached the captain and asked worriedly, "Captain Typho, where's Padmé? Is she here? Is she onboard?"

The captain looked sadly at the Jedi Knight before him and slowly said, "Before she could get on board, she was kidnapped. It was sudden. We…"

"NOOOOOOO," Anakin screamed in horror, his knees giving way, "NOT PADMÉ! THIS IS NOT TRUE! PLEASE TELL ME IT ISN'T!"

But he knew, inside that as much as he wanted to deny it, to not believe it, he couldn't. Padmé had been kidnapped.

Just like he had been too late to save his mother, he had now been too late to save his beloved wife and unborn child.

Why?!

First his mother had died, then his padawan Ahsoka had left the Jedi Order, then he had lost Tup and Fives, both good soldiers and friends in the 501st legion, and now his wife and unborn child had been kidnapped.

He broke down and cried.

Suddenly, he heard Mace Windu behind him calling out, "Anakin, we have to get out of here. We're being pursued. Get into Senator Amidala's ship with the younglings now!"

Anakin stood up and yelled, "NO! THEY DID THIS!"

Mace Windu gripped Anakin's arms and said, "Anakin, we'll find out who took the senator, but now we have to save ourselves."

Just then, they saw clones bursting out of a gunship nearby, armed with blasters.

Anakin pulled out his lightsaber and began to attack the clones, deflecting their blaster shots, even as Mace Windu and Shaak Ti, with help from Typho and the handmaidens brought the younglings inside. Artoo who had parked the starfighter nearby started up and moved in closer. He then used the ships cannons to destroy the gunship, but that did not stop the clones from continuing to fire. He did not dare to fire lest he hurt master Anakin who was swiftly moving here and there, cutting down the clones.

Soon, everyone but Anakin was aboard. Even as Windu was starting the ship, Shaak Ti and Sabé were yelling at Anakin to get on the ship.

Suddenly, Anakin heard a female voice, one that he had never heard before calling out, through the force, "Run my child, run."

Anakin wondered who was speaking, but the next thing he knew, was that he was running towards the ship as fast as he could, with two remaining clones continuing to fire their blasters.

He entered and the door closed as the ship took off and blasted into outer space.

Meanwhile, on Kashyyyk…

Four clones on AT-RTs were moving forward, their headlights on due to the darkness of the night.

They approached a pile of wreckage where some dead Wookies lay.

One clone commanded, "All these Wookies are dead. Move to the east."

"Yes Sir," another clone replied as he and a third clone moved to the east, and the other two in the west.

Meanwhile, somewhere far enough from the clones, Tarfful had just finished removing some branches covering an escape pod small enough for the Jedi Master and was moving away from it.

Even as Yoda moved near the pod, he turned back and spoke, "Goodbye Tarfful, goodbye, Chewbacca."

Chewbacca answered with a sad soft growl.

"Miss you, I will," Yoda replied.

He then turned towards the pod and moved towards it even as the doors opened.

He sat inside the pod on a chair which seemed large enough for a Wookie and looked upon Chewbacca and Tarfful one last time before the doors closed and he took off, while the Wookies kept on growling, speaking in their own language of course.

Meanwhile on Coruscant…

Tantive III, the Alderaanian cruiser belonging to Bail Organa took off.

Meanwhile, on Padmé's cruiser…

After a while, Shaak Ti noticed Anakin sitting on the floor near the door to the cockpit.

She asked, "Skywalker is something wrong?"

Anakin burst into tears and said, "I've done nothing but failing everyone. I have failed you all! I couldn't save my mother, I couldn't save Fives, and now I couldn't save Padmé!"

Shaak Ti sat down next to him, wrapped an arm around him comfortingly and said, "Don't think yourself as a failure. You managed to get the younglings out, and you saved my life."

Anakin stated, "I have failed, as a Jedi, as a General, and as a husband and soon to be father."

Shaak Ti stared at him in shock and asked, "What are you saying?"

Anakin explained, "Senator Padmé Amidala and I are married and now she is expecting a child. Palpatine is the Dark Lord of the Sith; he orchestrated this war, and to think he was a father figure in my life; Palpatine wanted me to join him, he said he would protect my wife. I refused, I warned her, but still, I couldn't save her."

Shaak Ti heard Anakin choke back a sob as he finished.

She held him comfortingly and said, "Attachment leads to fear, and fear leads to the dark side. But you did not let your fears and attachments take hold of you. You, a married man with attachments, resisted the pull of the dark side. I don't know if I should say this as a Jedi Master, but I'm sure your wife would be proud of you."

Anakin looked up at the Jedi Master and said, "I refused mainly because joining the Sith would have been like murdering my own wife. I trusted Palpatine more than the Jedi, and now it turns out he was the wrong person to trust!"

Shaak Ti said, "And you figured it out, and refused to join him. The dark side is a path of destruction. It destroys, it does not protect, it does not nourish, it does not heal."

She then wrapped Anakin in an embrace and whispered, "Everything will be alright Anakin."

Anakin remembered a flashback.

Obi Wan cried out, "What would Padmé have done had she been in your place?"

Anakin responded, "She would have done her duty."

Meanwhile, in the cockpit, Mace Windu was speaking to Senator Organa, whom he had managed to establish contact with.

"Senator Organa," Mace spoke, "We need help. The clones turned on us."

Bail replied, "It appears the damage has happened everywhere. I am on my way to rescue Master Yoda. I will send you the coordinates to the rendezvous as soon as I get him onboard."

"Very well," Mace replied, "Thank you."

Meanwhile, on Utapau…

Ships were flying about here and there as a few clones paraded a few Utapauns on a bridge.

Close by, stood a few clones, all facing Commander Cody.

Cody asked commandingly, "Did you find Kenobi?"

"No Sir," a clone replied, "No one could have survived that fall."

Cody looked away towards his right and barked, "Start loading your men on the ship. Move it."

None of them were aware, that behind a wall nearby hiding, was none other than the man they were looking for, Obi Wan Kenobi.

Soon, Obi Wan was running towards General Grievous' starfighter which lay parked on the same platform on which the Jedi Master had killed the Separatist leader. It was not what he would have preferred as opposed to his Jedi interceptor with R4, but it would do.

He stepped into the cockpit, strapped himself in, closed the cockpit, lifted off, and blasted off into outer space.

As soon as he entered outer space, he turned on his communication system and spoke, "Emergency code 913. I have no contact on any frequency."

Even as the starfighter zoomed on, a hologram of Bail Organa materialized and he spoke, "Master Kenobi," although it sounded rather patchy.

"Repeat," Obi Wan said.

"Master Kenobi," Bail spoke and this time, it was clear.

"Senator Organa," Obi Wan explained, "My clone troops turned on me. I need help."

"We just rescued Master Yoda," Bail replied, "It appears the damage has happened everywhere. We're sending you our coordinates."

Soon, Obi Wan's starfighter reached the meeting point and was drawn into a hangar of Bail's ship Tantive III. Masters Yoda and Plo Koon had already arrived, Plo Koon soon after Yoda.

Soon afterwards, Padmé's starship reached the same coordinates and with careful piloting from Mace Windu, docked with the Alderaanian ship. The Jedi interceptor being piloted by Artoo was drawn into a hangar by a tractor beam.
