This is my first hobbit fic, so I'm really excited about it. I've been wanting to write a hobbit fic for awhile, and this came to my mind. I know it's short, but writing short fics is what I'm good at. Enjoy!
Whispers
Whispers were everywhere. Anywhere you went, you heard about it. Everyone was talking about it. To them, this kind of...behaviour was unnatural. Unheard of. To the people of the Shire, this was something that was looked upon with the utmost scorn.
"Is it true?"
"I can't believe it."
"It's unthinkable. Disgraceful!"
Everywhere you went, people were talking about Merry and Pippin.
