Hi my name is Violet...V for short I came to Tulsa Oklahoma from the Queens in New York...I lived here a long time ago with my brother and parents...my dad left my mum and I had to go with him...anyway I came back here after I read in the paper about three of my friends in the gang I belonged to back here with Two-Bit Matthews...yep you guessed it that's my brother.

I read in the paper about Johnny Cade, Ponyboy Curtis and Dallas Winston Dally for short.

To tell the truth I was in shock to read Johnny killed a Soc and Ponyboy was involved! I mean come on those two wouldn't hurt a fly unless it was self defense which it was. And I was kinda freaked out to read that old Dally would save a bunch of kids from a fire! I always thought he'd of let em burn if they weren't part of his gang.

I came back to see if they were okay I heard about their burns and stuff so I had to see for myself that they were all alive...plus I wanted to see my brother Two-Bit and the other two Curtis brothers Darry and Sodapop or pepsi-cola I always called him that...I wasn't to enthusiastic about seeing old Steve Randle but hes not so bad once you get to know him.
