Emberblaze stopped just in front of the Dinobots staring down at them watching them as they got into battle stances then Emberblaze lifted his head and let out a roar that echoed throughout the ruined landscape then what happened next stunned the Dinobots completely Emberblaze started to transform into a robot mode.
The Dinobots stared still in awe at what they were seeing as the transformation was now complete and Emberblaze stood before them now not as a dragon but as a robot like Grimlock and his team.
(Emberblaze's robot mode had the head and chest and stomach of planet x Trion Paddles figure, his arms were similar to the cyberverse Volcanicus of course without the silver spikes and the gold spikes on his hands. His legs are similar to the legs of Rid combiner force Twinferno without the Jets parts.)
"Woah didn't see that coming."Swoop said in disbelief "Could the Predacon transform?"Sludge asked curiously as he wasn't sure if the Predacons could transform nobody answered him they just stared at Emberblaze as he stared back at them eyes glowing cyan as a compartment open up on the dragon head and he reached up behind him and pulled out a sword that appeared to be the tail of his dragon mode then a shield formed on his forearm it was in the shape of a dragon scale and it glowed orange.
Emberblaze got into a fighting stance which made Slug chuckle clutching his swords tightly in his hands "All right now it's a fight!" The rest of the Dinobots held their melee weapons waiting for Grimlock's orders. Grimlock stared at Emberblaze this visor glowing Red "Dinobots Attack!"Grimlock ordered as the Dinobots charged towards Emberblaze.
Swoop flew in the air and darted down ready to strike Emberblaze first but he was immediately batted away by Emberblaze's shield then the other Dinobots started attacking but Emberblaze proved to be just as capable in combat as they are Grimlock was starting to become impressed.
Grimlock swung his sword but Emberblaze immediately blocked it with his shield and kicked him about 40 yards away Snarl and Slug stood in front of him glaring intensely at him then the both charged at Emberblaze both swinging their swords at him but Emberblaze deflected every single shot from them with his shield and sword the sounds of clanging metal echoed throughout the still night air.
With a furious yell Slug leaped into the air to strike Emberblaze with his swords but He blocked it with his shield and Snarl came out from the side of Emberblaze to try and strike him from the side but Emberblaze wasn't going to let that happen to with a mighty shove he threw Slug directly into Snarl knocking them both away and near a damaged building.
Emberblaze stomped towards them with the intent to hurt them badly but he didn't see Sludge charging behind him holding his twin hammers in his hands and he slammed them together making a thunderous crash sending a shockwave that brought Emberblaze to his knees. Acting quickly when Emberblaze got up and turned around Sludge knocked the sword and shield out of his hand,then he threw down his hammers then balled up his fists and punched Emberblaze across the face making him stagger back a little.
Sludge continued bombarded him with punches to his face and stomach wearing him down Sludge went for another punch to Emberblaze's head but he caught his fist and headbutted him hard making Sludge grunt and stagger back then Emberblaze began to return the favor and began assault Sludge throwing punch after punch to Sludge's body.
Sludge desperately tried to defend himself but Emberblaze was too fearce with a kick to Sludge's knee Sludge dropped on one knee and Emberblaze struck Sludge across the face with his knee Sludge spat out energon as Emberblaze lifted him up and with a mighty punch to his stomach Sludge was sent flying just a few feet away.
Groaning in pain Sludge slowly starting getting up staggering Slug was the first to recover between him and Snarl as he looked over at Emberblaze stomping towards Sludge menacingly thinking quickly Slug got up and transformed into triceratops mode and charged towards Emberblaze in the hopes to injury him enough to incapacitate him.
But Emberblaze saw him charging at the corner of his eyes and quickly turned around and caught him by the horns Slug growled furiously as he tried to push Emberblaze only managing to move him slightly backwards giving his strength. Emberblaze noticed that Sludge was nearly on his feet and knew he had to take him down before he recovers fully so with a mighty swing Emberblaze tossed Slug into Sludge causing them to crash into a wall with a massive boom.
Emberblaze let out a triumphant war cry until he felt something hit him in the back causing him to fall to the ground he quickly got up and looked around for whatever hit him the a squawk caught his attention as Swoop in Pteranodon mode flew towards him and transformed in midair and gave Emberblaze a kick to his chest making him stagger back a bit.
Swoop did a backflip and landed on the ground holding his twin swords looking up at him Emberblaze was much bigger than him but he didn't care "Come on!" he yelled as he charged at Emberblaze but he suddenly grabbed him by the throat and lifted him high into the air Swoop dropped his swords as he struggled out of Emberblaze's grip then Emberblaze slammed Swoop down on the ground with a mighty thud.
The Emberblaze walked over to his sword and picked up his sword then he walked over to the still dazed Swoop then he flipped the sword upside down and raised it high above he's head with the intent to kill Swoop.
Snarl started to recover and get up and he saw the scene in front of him then Snarl got on one knee and then he transformed into Stegosaurus mode and then he narrowed his eyes at Emberblaze and he charged at him with a short burst of speed then he swung his tail and one of the spikes on his tail struck Emberblaze right on his leg making him howl with agony as he dropped his sword and grasped his leg and looked down at Snarl.
"Got ya."He said triumphantly Grimlock recovered and stood up and quick ran over to Emberblaze while picking up one of Sludge's hammers "Hey!"Grimlock yelled making Emberblaze turn to him then he was met with a hammer to the face. Emberblaze staggered back as Grimlock continued his assault with a punch and a strike of the hammer Emberblaze was wearing down again then Grimlock raised the hammer up and brought it down on Emberblaze's back toppling him to the ground.
Emberblaze struggled to stand with Snarl's thagomizer in his leg "Stay Down."Grimlock ordered "is that stasis thing kicking in yet?!"Snarl asked wondering why Emberblaze isn't in stasis yet. "I don't know hold on I'm going to knock him into stasis lock."Grimlock said as he proceeded to raise the hammer again and he brought it down but this Emberblaze gathered enough strength to raise his hand and catch the hammer then he looked at Snarl and grabbed his tail and pulled the thagomizer out energon seeping from the wound.
Emberblaze looked up at Grimlock and he pushed the hammer back hitting Grimlock in the face then he quickly stood up ignoring the pain in his leg and threw Snarl into Grimlock knocking them back. Emberblaze grunted in pain as he held his leg but that wasn't his only problem Emberblaze suddenly started to feel a little dizzy and the world around him started to spin a little.
It was the stasis dart it was starting to take effect Emberblaze staggered a little bit as he started to have a bit of difficulty staying conscious Slug and Sludge who began to recover noticed the way Emberblaze was acting and knew what was going on.
"Hey it's starting to kick in, let's finish this now!"Slug exclaimed as he quickly got up and charged at Emberblaze and gave him a one two punch directly to his face making Emberblaze stagger as Slug continued his barrage "Fall damn it!"Slug roared growing frustrated and impressed at Emberblaze's willpower, he had heard Predacons in their day were tough as titanium nails creatures but to see that in action in front of his eyes was an impressive sight.
Punch after punch Emberblaze refused to fall down Slug cocked back his fist to prepare for the hardest punch he's ever given anyone but just as his fist was about to connect with Emberblaze's face he caught his fist and twisted his arm making Slug yell in pain then Emberblaze grabbed the horn of his triceratops mode and ripped it off before plunging it through his stomach.
Slug groaned in shock and pain as he stumbled backwards a bit clutching his stomach before falling back on the ground groaning in pain "Slug!!!"Sludge yelled as he ran over to him in alarm Swoop and Snarl ran over to him as well in panic "what should we do should we pull it out?!"Swoop exclaimed reaching out to pull out the horn but Sludge slapped his hand away.
"No don't touch it!"He exclaimed "We have to do something!!!"Swoop exclaimed as Slug groaned in pain, meanwhile Grimlock stood there in shock and worry that Slug was just stabbed with his own horn and was laying on the ground possibly dying.
Then his shock and worry turned to anger and hatred as his eyes landed directly onto Emberblaze who grabbed his sword and shield and stared down Grimlock who clenched his fists as his eyes glowed bright red. This was the final straw Grimlock and his team have been fighting tooth and nail with this thing for the past couple of days and nearly lost their lives to this thing forget Brainstorm's plan Grimlock now has a new one: demolish Emberblaze.
Growling viciously as boiling rage rose higher and higher to dangerous levels Grimlock then pounded his fists to the ground which turned into feet and the rest of his body transformed until a mechanical Tyrannosaurus Rex stood before Emberblaze. Grimlock then let out a mighty roar the other Dinobots looked at the scene in front of them in surprise that Grimlock finally transformed into his dino mode.
Emberblaze glared at Grimlock not intimidated by his Dino mode in the least in fact Emberblaze was elated to see Grimlock's Dino mode because now he can fight the leader of the Dinobots with teeth and claws. Emberblaze placed his sword on his back and his shield retracted into his arm and he slammed his hands on the ground which changed to claws then the rest of his body transformed into his dragon mode and he let out a mighty roar.
Both Grimlock and Emberblaze circled each other growling viciously then they charged at each other biting and scratching furiously. with a swing of his tail Grimlock wacked Emberblaze straight across the face causing him to staggering a little then he whipped his head towards Grimlock breathing fire on him.
Grimlock roared in pain as Emberblaze charged at him and rammed into his side knocking Grimlock into the ground, Grimlock immediately got back up and retaliated by charging at him and bit down on Emberblaze's neck again. Emberblaze roared in pain and tried to get him to let go but Grimlock wasn't letting go, desperate Emberblaze thought of one last play with the flap of his wings Emberblaze took to the sky and he started to fly and smash into ruined buildings trying to let Grimlock let go.
After going through a another small building Emberblaze who was really starting to feel the effects of the stasis dart started to lose control of his flight ability and he crashed to the ground with Grimlock finally letting go of his neck and tumbled on the ground before coming to a complete stop.
Grimlock immediately got back up and glared at Emberblaze who was struggling to get back up as the stasis inducing drug was beginning to overpower him. Seeing his chance Grimlock charged towards Emberblaze and with a swing of his tail he knocked Emberblaze to the ground.
After he hit the ground Emberblaze's eyes immediately slowly dimmed to black letting Grimlock know he was finally in stasis lock Grimlock towered over Emberblaze glaring down at him with primal anger. He was very tempted to just kill him right now and reunite him with the allspark but the sound of Slug groaning snapped him out of his rage.
"Grimlock help!"Sludge yelled looking at Grimlock who transformed back into robot mode and ran over to Slug who still had the horn in his stomach. "Slug don't try to move."Grimlock commanded Slug just grunted in response "He needs medical attention."Snarl said Grimlock knew he was right but he also knew he wasn't going to get it here.
"Hold tight Slug we're going to get you some help."Grimlock said as Sludge grabbing Slug's hand and gently squeezed providing some comfort, Slug let out a pained chuckle "Come on guys you're acting like this is the first time I've been stabbed."he said groaning again.
Just then Brainstorm came out of the laboratory rubbing his head and saw the scene "What did i miss?"He asked "Oh nothing much just the entire smackdown."Swoop said "Slug was stabbed with his own horn he needs medical attention."Grimlock said.
"I have an first aid in the ship."Brainstorm said "Come on slug."Sludge said as he gently lifted up Slug who groaned a little in pain then he walked towards the ship with Swoop and Snarl following him. Brainstorm was about to follow as well until he saw Emberblaze laying on the ground, "He's in stasis lock."Grimlock said glaring at the Predacon before looking at Brainstorm as he had a question to ask "He was able to transform, did you know he could do that was that an ability you gave him?"
Brainstorm shook his head no "transformation is a natural is a natural part of Cybertronian biology, so it would make sense that the Predacons possessed t cogs even though they most likely didn't know it at the time."Brainstorm explained Grimlock only grumbled and followed the other Dinobots to the ship and brainstorm followed him.
Much Later
Brainstorm with the help of Snarl we're able to pull the horn out of Slug and patch him up and was able to fix his horn, plus they were able to get Emberblaze into the cage then Brainstorm dropped them off at the border of Iacon at Grimlock's request. With the sun slowly starting to rise of the horizon the Dinobots watched as The ship carrying Brainstorm and Emberblaze took off into the sky, then the Dinobots started to walk towards iacon.
