Chapter 7
Outside the Arena
Shogo Taguchi sneezed as he walked across the road of Konoha. Seeing as how he was able to rbeak through the defenses of the village and decimated most of the forces that got in the way before reaching this point. Shogo decided that grunts and lesser foes were not worth his time. So he went towards the arena where he heard all of the real action was taking place.
"Hahaha! I can fight grunts all day, but that's a real pain in the ass. I wanna get this shit done and skip this easy level crap." Shogo said as he walked towards the arena.
Only for several of Momon's automatons to notice him and prepare a defense.
"Really? They got robots?" Shogo asked with a confused expression.
The leading machine stomped towards Shogo with a buzzsaw for an arm and a flamethrower for the other. Shogo cackled at the stupid looking robot as it moved closer towards him as if it were a threat.
"Okay, I'll humor you pieces of nerd crap." Shogo said as he ran at them.
Within the arena
The turmoil continued as the civilians were being evacuated along with the high value individuals such as nobles and political figures. It was a good thing for Konoha that they had a lot of reinforcements from some new allies. Including a few genuine heroes who gained brand new abilities.
"Riot Squad Shield!" Naofumi cries out.
Suddenly, as the Oto ninja run towards the evacuating civilians. Naofumi's new skill created several projections of men with large shields and jitte swords. All of which started to attack any enemy ninja that got too close while blocking ranged techniques.
"I'm glad to have a weapon that hits back for once." Naofumi said as he surveyed the situation.
"I don't like sticking my neck out in a situation like this, but I have a few theories that things are worse if we stay put." Seiya points out.
"He's right, we have to look for Mel!" Filo cries out.
"I'm sure Melty is fine Filo. She has a crap load of guards and is friends with Kunou who has even more security around her." Raphtalia said as she cuts down a random suna ninja.
"Still, there's enemies everywhere from all sorts of factions. It's hard to tell who's who." Naofumi said.
"Just hit whoever wants to hit you next." Seiya said bluntly.
"Seiya look out!" Mash yells as more Oto ninja arrive.
Seiya sighed, "Body Double." He said as five copies of himself appeared. "Working under that emperor does have it's benefits." he said before his copies went to attack the incoming wave.
"We really should get moving. This area is getting crowded." Naofumi said as he prepared to lead both groups away from the seats.
Only to be interrupted, "Not so fast Naofumi! Your reign of terror is over!" yelled a familiar voice.
"Now I have a migraine." Naofumi said.
"This is going to sound uncharacteristic of me, but I feel sorry for you." Seiya said as Itsuki and Motoyasu returned.
"Are these guys cockroaches or something?" Mash asked.
With Naruto's family
*SPLAT*
Like Hinata, Rem is a gentle soul and very respectful towards others. However, unlike the young Hyuga who had yet to properly mature. Rem is a capable fighter as she had to help Hinata with her shyness. To the point that she wasn't entirely afraid to take someone else's life. Especially the kind people who she served after their family too her and Ram in.
"Don't lose focus Rem." Ram said her sister continue swinging her giant spiked ball around.
"I will, just keep the babies safe." Rem said as Ram helped Yasaka carry Ichigo and Kairi.
"Let us go Yasaka-sama." Ram said.
"But we can't leave Rem behind." Yasaka said, feeling concerned for the younger oni.
Suddenly, Naruto arrived after cutting down several oto jounin, "Yasaka!" he said as he rushed to his wife's aid.
"I'm fine dear, but I do not want anyone left behind." Yasaka said as Rem and Tohru continued to cover them.
"That won't happen." Naruto said as a loud crack was heard.
In the distance, while Vali was fighting one of Falmuth's summoned heroes. Their other summoned hero, Shogo had crashed into the stadium. Naruto narrowed his eyes as he can sense the lust of battle coming from Shogo.
"Where's your sister?" Naruto asked.
"Koyanskaya and I got separated. If she's not looking for us, she likely went somewhere to protect Naegi and Hinata." Yasaka answered.
She knew her sister genuinely loved her sons. There was no shame in that if Koyanskaya was unable to come back to help them as she was in better shape for battle and was the only one able to protect her children. Understanding this as well, Naruto knew that Yasaka would be unable to fight given she was still weakened from giving birth due to the intensity she experienced. That and her true power would likely harm the infants as well.
Leaving Naruto with one choice.
"Diablo!" Naruto called out.
"I am here my master." Diablo said as he snapped the neck of a Falmuth lancer.
"Take my family and the girls out of here." Naruto had ordered.
Diablo bowed his head, "At once." he said.
"Hold on." Yasaka said before grabbing her husband by his shirt. Where she proceeded to give him a quick kiss on the lips, "Don't do anything Vali would do." she said after breaking this kiss.
"I wouldn't." Naruto said before letting her go.
Then Kunou hugged his leg, "Please be careful otou-sama." she said.
Naruto bent down to hug his daughter, "I will musume." he said before letting her go.
Once Diablo left, Naruto saw Tohru flying in the sky and aiming her flames at the incoming group of Balmuth knights. Not caring as to who they were fighting. Those fools considered anyone not wearing the banner of their allies or themselves as threats. It was not a bad thing for Tohru to wipe out a large group of zealots that were rampaging around.
Then again, someone like Shogo didn't need to use such an excuse to cause destruction.
"I think it's time I bring that brat back to reality." Naruto said before jumping down to meet Shogo.
Shogo grinned upon seeing him, "Finally, a real boss battle." he said excitedly. "Now I don't have to feel like I'm wasting my skills. Berserker!" he yells as he powers up and runs head first towards Naruto.
In response, Naruto blocks Shogo's fist with the blunt edge of his sword. Before tripping over Shogo's leg during his next step and then flipping him onto his back. This was followed by the Crimson Emperor dropping a foot onto his chest. Shogo coughed up some blood before Naruto stepped back.
"Bastard, I guess you really can't be beat with a single punch." Shogo said as he slowly stood up. "You even made me go far as to use a potion for once in my life." He said before chugging a blue vial and crushing it.
Naruto sighed as he charged up his power to a degree to where the whole arena started to feel like it was heating up. Shogo's smug look faltered as the oxygen around him started to become more difficult to breath in. Even as he faced down the Crimson Emperor, one of the strongest individuals among the many realms/worlds. Shogo did his best to stay calm and focus on his end goal as he charged up a lot of his own magic into his single unique skill.
"I'm not scared of you!" Shogo screamed as he ran at Naruto yet again.
'Predictable.' Naruto thought as he slashed Enma at Shogo.
With the summoned hero crashing into the ground as a heavy wave of flames emitted by the sword came out and ripped his hand clean off. Shogo released an ear piercing scream as he cradled his severed arm. Before slowly looking up to Naruto who prepared to end his life with no second thought. Before Shogo was granted a meeting with afterlife, he was saved by an elderly man who appeared out of nowhere and teleported him across from the emperor.
"Shogo, I see you didn't take this one seriously." the old man said.
Shogo snarled at the old man, "Just heal me and get us out of here. I need more power if we're gonna beat him." he said.
The old man shook his head, "I'm afraid even with my experience. This young man is beyond even my abilities." he said.
Naruto narrowed his eyes, "What his Falmuth doing invading this village?" he asked.
The old man laughed at the question, "I see no reason to answer that question. Surely a ruler of your stature has enough wisdom to put facts together." he replied.
"Surely this is not because of some needless propaganda for your church." Naruto said.
"No, while many say religion is the cause of all wars. it's just an excuse, I can confirm that much." the old man.
Naruto understood that, sometimes religion was just a cheap way to feel good about yourself. Some have a naturally good congregation, but are filled with entitled bigots. Using their status or words to share a philosophy than to share wisdom. One of these things is to refer to everything that is not completely human or those who commit acts that are considered inhuman to be spawns of the devil. The old man was likely hinting that the church is just a stepping stone for this needless assault.
"Let's just go already Razen!" Shogo yelled.
"Damn it boy, I was preparing for that already." Razen said as he was annoyed by the teen.
"I still have more questions and escape is not an option for you." Naruto said as he appeared in front of Razen one step later.
Razen's eyes hardened, "I'm afraid it is!" he yelled as Naruto swung his sword and cracked an invisible barrier.
Naruto shattered the barrier with his next strike only for Razen and Shogo to disappear. Naruto cursed his luck before focusing on the rest of the assault on the village. With the frenzy of everyone attacking at once. The Crimson Emperor knew it was time to organize his forces to work on repel the enemy once innocent lives were out of harm's way.
With The Real Heroes
"Riot Squad Shield!" Naofumi yells as another squadron of projections appeared.
All of which surrounded Motoyasu and proceeded to attack him. Motoyasu was surprised by the sudden reinforcements and found it trick to fight deal with all of them as they locked him into one corner. Basically making his base spear useless as they constantly hit the blond moron whenever he left himself open.
"Fight me yourself you coward!" Motoyasu said as each projection hit Motoyasu.
"How about you grow up and fight!" Naofumi yelled angrily.
As the Spear Hero found himself cornered. The Bow Hero found even more difficulty fighting Seiya. Which is already obvious seeing as Seiya's powers weren't limited to a single weapon and gave him a bigger potential. It didn't help that the cautious man already good skills with a bow that surpassed Itsuki.
"Arrow Rain!" Itsuki yells as he launches a single arrow like a motar before it transformed into a hail fire of multiple arrows.
"Seven Shot Shining Arrow!" Seiya counters with just seven arrows.
Despite neither side being able to hit each other. Seiya's next skill kicked in soon after. As one of the arrows his fire transformed into a shining bird and rammed itself into Itsuki before he had a chance to run or counter it. Resulting in a large explosion that sent him flying away.
Itsuki gritted his teeth as he struggled to stand, "Thunder Shoot!" He yells as he fires an arrow coated in lightning.
"Wind Dome!" Seiya counters again, using the power of wind to block the lightning arrow.
When the the arrow hit it's target. Itsuki was shocked to see Seiya standing without so much as a scratch. Being annoyed, angry and petty by this point. The so called hero assumed Seiya to be some kind of cheater while thinking Seiya was mocking him by not having some limit to his powers.
"You're a cheater and a fake like Naofumi!" Itsuki accused.
Seiya scoffed, "It's not my fault you suck." he replied. "How about instead of complaining all the time. You learn to get good." he adds, further wounding Itsuki's pride.
"Take this! Shooting Star Bow!" Itsuki yells as he fires an arrow that leaves a trail of stars behind it.
"Airstrike Shield!" Naofumi yells as a green shield appears in front of Seiya and blocks the attack.
"Fenrir Strike!" Seiya yells as he fires an ice projectile at Itsuki. Seiya then looked at Naofumi as Itsuki was sent crashing into the ground again, "What happened to your opponent?" he asked.
"Shield Prison." Naofumi answered as he pointed at Motoyasu.
Who is now trapped inside of a giant dome of pipes and chains that restrained him. With a couple of Riot Squad projections preparing for Motoyasu's escape. When he did break loose, Motoyasu beelined for Naofumi while destroying the Riot Squad in the process.
"Air Strike Javelin!" Motoyasu yells as a second spear is summoned.
The spear then flies at Naofumi who managed to block it in time. Only for it to be supported by a second spear as Motoyasu managed to further develop that skill's abilities. Though Naofumi took a big risk by just using his shield to block it instead of using a more powerful skill. This resulted in a passive skill activating.
"Animal Needle Shield!" Naofumi yells.
As suddenly, the shield released a wave of porcupine like needles at Motoyasu. As Motoyasu attempted to block the projectiles by spinning his spear around like a fan. A few managed to squeeze through his spinning defense. Hitting him enough times for a paralyzes like poison to stun him.
"What the?" Motoyasu was able to say.
When Seiya ran up to him, "Maximum Inferno!" he yelled as he blasted Motoyasu away with a powerful fire attack. "Cocky wimps." he commented as Motoyasu crashed onto Itsuki's body.
"Careful, they had a lot of people in their parties. One of them a bitch that likes to play from behind the scenes." Naofumi said, referring to Malty.
"Like the one fighting your raccoon girl?" Seiya asked as he pointed to Raphtalia.
As the tanuki girl was fighting Malty who tried to surprise during the initial assault. At the same time, Naofumi saw Rishia trying to cast support magic on Raphtalia to assist her. They then saw Mald, a brute from Itsuki's party, assaulting Mash who is being supported by Filo and Ilulu. That only left them wondering what happened to the rest of the two parties.
However, before the heroes had a chance to help their allies. They were stopped by the presence of a headless knight with a giant sword.
"That was a fun scene. I guess those losers were just hype." the headless knight said.
"What are you supposed to be? The cover art of some band of edge lords?" Seiya asked.
"I'm Beldia, I was once one of the best knights until some asshole decided to have me killed for no reason." Beldia said.
"I can relate." Naofumi said dryly.
"But now, my work is appreciated and I don't like wasting my time and power on some weak idiots. Seriously what was that? Was their plan just to throw crap?" Beldia asked.
Seiya immediately became annoyed, "I don't have time for an opinion." he said.
Beldia laughed, "Good, now let's see how good you really are." he said.
"Distract him." Seiya said to Naofumi.
"Eh?" the shield hero asked.
"Distract him, I have no idea how to fight him. The other losers were easy, but this guy is probably super dangerous but acts like an idiot." Seiya quickly explained.
"I may be a dullahan, but I can still hear you!" Beldia yelled angrily.
Naofumi sighed, "Fine, maybe I'll find his weakness and you can finish him off." he said as Seiya settled for that idea.
"Yeah, talk strategy and ignore me. No problem there." Beldia said sarcastically before tossing the helmet he kept in one arm towards the sky.
As Naofumi prepared for some way to immobilize or nullify Beldia's power. While the helmet suddenly started to float above them, Beldia moved in quick succession. Where he quickly overwhelmed Naofumi with his amazing speed and sent him crashing into a nearby wall. In an attempt to counter the dullahan, Naofumi's passive skill with the Animal Needle Shield activated.
Resulting in the armored man being pricked with multiple needles. Filling his body with the paralyzes poison as it did with Motoyasu.
"Really? I'm an undead. Poisons and ailments don't work on me." Beldia said as he picked up his head. Right after blocking all of Seiya's quick strikes, "You need more than a few flashy moves to beat me." he said before pushing Seiya back.
"I'm not ready for this." Seiya said with narrow eyes.
With Minato
Standing beside the Raikage, who decided to attend this year's chunin exams, as they saw Orochimaru appear under the Kazekage's robes. Ay was a big brute, but at least as a kage, he had some matter of honor. And he did not like the idea of Orochimaru showing his face and causing a giant amount of destruction. Even worse, Orochimaru trapped them both in a powerful barrier that contained the two of them as well as burning anyone who attempts to break down the barrier.
"You better be thinking about killing this snake for good this time, Namikaze." Ay said.
"I am, there's no doubt about it." Minato said.
"Good and speaking of which, where's the real Kazekage? Is Raza that much of a coward to show his face or did you get rid of him?" Ay asked as he ripped of his jacket.
Orochimaru laughed in response, "I would worry about the living if I were you." He replied.
"Bastard!" Ay said as his assumptions were confirmed.
"No need for name calling now. I thought someone of your reputation would rather trade blows than exchange words." Orochimaru said mocking the Raikage.
Just as the two kage prepared to battle. They were surprised by the sight of Diablo who appeared from a black mist. The way in which he arrived made the two Yondaime kages feel like they saw the gothic version of the Hiraishin.
"Do pardon the interruption. I was just securing Yasaka-sama and her family in your home, Hokage-sama." Diablo said.
"What the hell is that? The family butler?" the Raikage asked.
"Yes." Minato answered bluntly, making Ay sweat drop.
Orochimaru scoffed, "The appearance of another fool is nothing. For I am not fighting alone." he said as two crimson and black portals appeared behind him.
From out of the portal stood two very powerful demons. The first one was a tall muscular figure with red eyes, ram horns and six large biceps that carried a variety of weapons. Beside him stood a more average looking man who looked slightly muscular, but nonetheless seemingly generic with no sign of being a real threat. Diablo narrowed his eyes as he could tell both were very strong to any ordinary human with years of experience under their belt.
"I will deal with these two pests." Diablo said volunteering himself.
"I wasn't finished yet!" Orochimaru yells as he slams his fingers into the ground. Where three coffins started to rise from the ground, "I think it's time for a reunion." he said.
"Orochimaru, you stole the secrets Edo Tensei and violated the natural way of life." Minato said as he looked angry.
"Some laws are meant to be broken." Orochimaru replied uncaringly.
Once the three coffins were up and about to open. Diablo proceeded to flare his power and destroy each coffin before Orochimaru had a chance to weaponize the undead.
"Normally I have no skills to directly combat the undead, but your failed attempt at necromancy gave me an advantage." Diablo said with a sly grin.
Orochimaru snarled, "No matter, this is only a slight setback." he said before drawing the Kusanagi from his mouth. "You two, deal with the butler." he commanded.
The two demons nodded as they approached Diablo. Leaving the kages to deal with Orochimaru.
"I can tell that you two are not locals. Tell me, what brings two gents on the level of a Demon King's general to this realm?" Diablo asked.
The human looking man shrugged, "Mutual association." he answered.
"Though our lords are rivals. We have specific orders to destroy this human infestation." the Asura looking demon adds.
Diablo merely chuckled at the response, "Such is business I suppose." he said before raising his arm to block the Asura's axes. "However, I cannot allow that to happen. For this would make my master very angry." he said before blasting the Asura away with his aura.
The normal looking man snarled, "I knew this wouldn't be easy. Especially against an arch demon!" he said before transforming into a red slime with golden eyes.
"A slime? I never took your species into being able to evolve into something powerful." Diablo said, sounding almost impressed.
"I'm no ordinary Slime. My name is Hans and the six armed brute is Eraser Kaiser." Hans said as he started to glow. "And we're the generals of two respective Demon Kings." He said before dashing at Diablo.
"How interesting." Diablo said as he prepared for Hans' assault.
With Naruto
After having cleared most the forces attacking the stadium. Naruto turned his attention to a nearby airship that worked as a command center. So with a high jump. Naruto landed on the airship, surprising a few soldiers, then running towards where the officers were planning things out.
"His majesty on deck!" a random officer yelled, making everyone bow their heads or salute.
"At ease, what the situation and point of origin?" Naruto asked.
One officer came forward with a magic mirror, "Most of the invading forces of Falmuth are attacking from the main gate at the front of the village. Though the human forces of Suna and Oto appear to be coming from the corners." he explained.
"Sir, I detect a massive influx of chakra. All coming from a single individual!" another person yelled.
"Where?" Naruto asked.
"It looks the target is moving quickly towards the forest right outside of the walls. Several smaller signatures can be seen following them." The officer answered.
"I want an immediate visual. Along with a status of other potential threats." Naruto demands.
"Right away!" they all yelled.
With the twins
Gaara was transforming, slowly but surely and his siblings were trying to get him out. Most likely to ensure his safety or at least move him somewhere where Gaara can't harm their allies. Arashi and Mito gave chase along with a couple of others to prevent a potential bijuu attack.
"So for reference, how big will a bijuu be if they appear?" Sasuke asked.
"Super big obviously!" Arashi answered.
"That's not very specific!" Sasuke replied.
As the group continued to chase after the sand siblings. The older brother, Kankuro, broke away from his siblings and pulled out his puppet that he kept wrapped up on his back. The puppet master attempted to slow down the group as a whole.
"He's not going to let us through." Mito points out.
"Yes he will!" Sasuke yells as he runs up to Kankuro.
Just as Kankuro's puppet, Crow, was about to fire poison filled needles at Sasuke. The Uchiha charged up his sword and quickly surrounded himself in lightning. Before Kankuro even realized it, most of the joints of his puppet were completely destroyed and Crow shattered as a large explosion of electricity took place.
"First Form: Thunderclap Flash - Eightfold." Sasuke said before Kankuro crashed into a tree.
'So fast… faster than that Lee kid.' Kankuro thought as he struggled to stand.
Unaware of Sasuke wincing in pain, 'Damn, Naruto was right. Trying too hard with my speed might break something.' he thought as his legs were throbbing.
Arashi rolled his eyes as the group kept moving, "Show off." he commented.
"Don't worry Arashi, we'll show up that Uchiha prick later." Mito said as she wanted to focus on Gaara.
Who now appeared to be stopping as Temari broke away from her youngest brother. Now hoping for a rematch against Mito. The pig tailed girl brought out a brand new fan. Mito smirked as she thought this was a sign of Temari's wounded pride and to compensate from the heavy loss in the preliminaries.
"I guess I'll take her…" Mito said before she was interrupted.
"We're being ambushed!" Shikamaru, a member of the group, had yelled.
"My bugs weren't able to detect them!" Shino adds.
Suddenly, the group found itself split apart as several blue flashes of light appeared around them. Several skeletons burst from the ground and let out animalistic roars. Shino attempted to utilize his clan's insects in an attempt to drain before realizing what they were as he avoided a rusty katana aimed for his chest.
"These are skeletons! Real life undead creatures!" Shino yelled, for once in his life sounding frantic.
"What the hell!?" Arashi asked as he avoided the downward swing of an axe. "Damn it, Mito you go ahead. The rest of us will try to stop these guys!" he yelled before powering up the Rasengan in one hand.
Mito nodded as she ran after the remaining sand siblings. As Mito drew her sword and clashed with Temari again. several dragon newts could be seen flying over the skies as they detected the fighters. The entire squad assessed the situation before noticing Gaara transforming more into a monstrous hybrid.
"There he is Sir Gabiru!" one of the newts yelled.
"Then help me disable him! There's no time to mess around this time!" Gabiru yelled as he was feeling serious for once.
Gaara grinned as he saw the newts, "I don't know what you are, but you will all prove my existence! Sand Shuriken!" He yells.
Gabiru immediately blocked the projectiles by spinning his trident, "Vortex Crash!" He counters as he blasts Gaara across the ground.
"Sir Gabiru is a genius! He's using water to soften the sand!" one of the dragon newts yell.
"Follow his example then!" another newt yells as they try to stop Gaara with water magic.
As each of the newts continued to put pressure onto Gaara. Suna's jinchuriki snarled in anger as he was unable to use enough sand for offensive purposes. At least until he broke off the top of his gord and released a lot more sound. Despite the dragon newts being able to counter the sand. Gaara manipulated enough sand to the point that he created a giant wave to push them away.
"Don't let up men! Use your fire if you have to!" Gabiru ordered as he recovered from the sand.
Gaara grinned maniacally, "You will all die! Sand Burial!" he yells as the sand spread under dragon newts.
As Mito continued to battle Temari. She saw the dragon newts trying to break free of the sand. Seeing this, Mito decided to help them by distracting Gaara.
"Hey crazy!" Mito yelled loud enough for Gaara to hear her. "Let's heat it up!" she yelled as she ran at Gaara with her flaming sword.
"Mito Namikaze, you are very strong as well!" Gaara yelled excitedly.
"First Form: Unknowing Fire!" Mito yells as she strikes at Gaara.
Gaara immediately raised up his walls of sand to block each attack. All the while trying to slowly crush Mito in a barrier of sand. Which Mito kept breaking by repeatedly striking the sand before it had a chance to trap and crush her.
"Fourth Form: Heat Slash!" Mito yells as she rapidly slashes at Gaara's barrier about a dozen times before he was exposed. "Let's see how invincible your defense is now!" she yelled before punching him across the ground and towards a tree.
Gaara was hurt, but it was not anything serious just yet. As Mito managed to put enough pressure to make a part of his head crack. Thus damaging his sand armor that covered his body. Even worse, Gaara finally had enough and wanted to end this fight.
"Possom Jutsu!" Gaara yells as the amount of sand grows heavily.
"What the?" Mito asked.
"I think we may need a new strategy men." Gabiru said as the Ichibi started to form.
Meanwhile, Arashi and the boys finished off the skeletons, "That's the end of them. We should watch out for wherever they came from." he said before stomping on a skeleton's skull.
"Troublesome, this was only the easy part." Shikamaru said as he saw the massive mass of sand that was reaching towards the sky.
"My insects will be insufficient again." Shino said.
Back in the arena, with Raphtalia and Rishia
With the heavy battle dying down outside the arena. There were still a few pests to deal with. This included Malty who decided to try and end the Shield Hero's party as to avoid further trouble with her own goals. Though her mother clearly returned to the kingdom and is likely stripping her father of his powers. Malty could at least use the excuse of this sudden as to avoid an blame should Naofumi's party be wiped out.
Only she didn't expect a demihuman slave and some girl Itsuki treats as a baggage girl.
"Why won't you just lie down and die already?" Malty asked furiously.
Raphtalia continued to block all of Malty's strikes. Each more being filled with fury and anger, but lacking discipline and real power. Leaving Raphtalia to be slightly cautious when dealing with the spoiled princess. Luckily Raphtalia had Rishia to cover her since Malty isn't above using underhanded tactics like when Motoyasu fought Naofumi the first time.
"How about you get outof the way for once!?" Raphtalia yelled as she pushed Malty back. "You are a princess and everyone adored you! What do you gain from harassing Naofumi-sama!?" she asked.
Malty sneered, "Why would want to answer to you?" she asked as she threw a patch of dirt at Raphtalia's face.
As Raphtalia was briefly blinded by the patch of dirt. Rishia raised her magic against the cheating princess.
"First Water Shot!" Rishia yells.
Resulting in a large orb of water hitting Malty square in the face. It would have been more of an ironic twist had Rishia used an element considered to be the opposite of wind. Regardless, Raphtalia managed to recover and slammed her sword hilt into Malty's stomach. Before any more bullshit could come out of the girl, Raphtalia raised up her fist and punched Malty square in the face. Knocking her straight into the dirt as a bruise started to form around her nose.
"I've been waiting to do that since I learned Naofumi can't deal offensive damage." Raphtalia said as she wanted to honor her master.
Malty winced as she held her nose, "You stupid demi human! You broke my nose! It's already bad enough you ungrateful creatures pollute my kingdom and run like rampant brutes!" she yelled angrily.
"Shut up! Raphtalia and all her people are kind and you're just greedy and crazy and… and…" Rishia could think of anything else to add to her insult.
"You shut up! You're just some slave that Ituski pitied!" Malty yelled as she tried to stand up. "It's bad enough that you and that Shield bastard ruined everything for me and papa! Now you're turning human villages against us! You and all your kind should just die!" she continues to yell as her emotions continue to run rampant.
Before anyone else said anything. Malty was sent flying by a kick from Kushina who suddenly appeared. Kushina looked very furious as her long red hair looked like it came to life.
"You little spoiled bitch! You can say whatever you want about minimum wage employees!" Kushina started to rant.
"I don't get paid at all." Rishia whined as she might as well be a slave in Itsuki's party.
"But these people, regardless of being part animal or whatever." Kushina said pointing Raphtalia. "Are good people, but when you threaten all of them. Including my own grandchildren. Then you earned the fury of the Konoha Motherhood Alliance!" she yells as a crowd of mothers appear.
"What the hell?" Malty asked as she now feared for her life.
Maybe Mirellia and other female political figures will want to sign up for this program.
Too bad they couldn't help with Beldia, "We could really use the help here!" Naofumi yelled.
"This creepy headless knight came with friends and there are too many of them!" Seiya yells as they are both chased by an army of undead skeleton knights.
*BOOM*
"And now it's worse." Seiya said as he saw Shukaku in the distance. "I'm not fighting that." He said with a blank expression.
As Shukaku started to rise in the distance and slowly made his way to the village. Several of the airships started to focus their attention onto the bijuu in an attempt to subdue him. Resulting in a single large airship being torn at the starboard bow after Shukaku fired a giant wave of sand projectiles amplified by his wound. Another medium sized airship would end up being shot down as well due to the immense pressure of the sand.
"It's like throwing stones at a bird. How are they going to beat thing?" Naofumi asked as he saw the airships continuing to open fire on the bijuu.
Kushina briefly looked on with worry as she saw the bijuu form. All sorts of thoughts related as to how her younger children would deal with something that powerful.
With Naruto
Naruto grimaced as he looked at the mirrors that presented the scene of Shukaku. For some reason, the sand monster felt very familiar. Almost as if the chakra caused by it's killing intent were similar to his own. Naruto felt like his chakra was not not like any ordinary reserve of energy like the yokai he has run into before.
"I think I'm going to have to have fight myself before anyone else is harmed." Naruto said as he prepared to leave.
"I'm getting a message from Emperor Tepes." someone spoke up.
Naruto stopped in his tracks, "Connect it, now." he commanded.
"Right away sir!" an operator responded.
As the mirrors formed, Alucard's face appeared, "Hello old friend, I'm glad I caught you at the right time." he said.
"Anything but right now is a good time Adrian. What do you need?" Naruto asked.
Alucard smirked at him, "I received a report on recent events. Actually, we have received a report and wish to contain the issue." he said.
"What do you mean by we?" Naruto asked.
"A new friend wants to repay the favor." Alucard answers before he explained what he was plotting.
With the genin
With Shukaku becoming the most dangerous enemy these genin have ever faced in their lives. Let alone the lives of many shinobi in their career. The group was very close to losing hope.
"Water Style: Water Dragon Jutsu!" Arashi yells as he manipulated the water from a nearby lake to attack Shukaku.
"I don't think that will be enough water." Shino said as Shukaku looked unfazed.
"Shikamaru, you're the smartest guy in our generation right? Can you think of something?" Mito asked.
Shikamaru's eyes twitched, "Nothing we can do. Unless your parents taught you the sealing meant to contain your bijuu." he said.
"This would never be a real suggestion had that rumor not been released." Shino said.
Initially, everyone assumed Minato did kill the Kyuubi or at least kept it contained somewhere. That is until rumors circulated about one of the children being the Kyuubi jinchuriki. Luckily things weren't too bad for the kids thanks to the support of their parents and clan heads. Though no one has figured out who spread that rumor. Little did they know, only one of them has the soul of the kyuubi and the other has a minuscule amount of it's chakra.
"Whatever, it's still good enough to come up with this idea." Shikamaru said.
"Well neither of us are good at sealing just yet. That and I think ero sennin is fighting in the village so he'll be too late to reach us." Mito said before Shukaku started bowing wind at them.
"Lightning Style: Lightning Shuriken Jutsu!" Arashi yells after having thrown several lightning covered shuriken.
"Fire Style: Phoenix Flower Jutsu!" Sasuke yells as he adds his own projectiles to the mix.
"That's not doing you any good! Retreat!" Mito yells.
The two boys took her advice and started running before Shukaku could catch them with his sand. The Ichibi laughed sadistically as he chased around the genin. Only briefly being distracted by another brave airship that was firing it's cannons at him.
"You annoying pests! Leave me alone! I'm having fun here!" Shukaku yells before blowing a gust at wind at them. Which was countered by a streak of lightning coming from an antenna on the ship, "Okay that almost hurt! Sand Buckshot!" he yells.
The airship took a massive hit from the sand and wind attack. Not before the pilots attempted to perform an emergency landing. At the same time, another dragon newt appeared after jumping off of the airship. While avoiding swipes from Shukaku, the dragon newt started to draw a sealing marker on the scroll before tossing it onto the ground.
The seal on he scroll started to glow brightly before it burned a copy of it's image onto the ground. When out of nowhere, Shukaku found a giant wave of massive sword shaped beams of light. All of which struck Shukaku's face, making him recoil in pain.
"What the was that!?" the Ichibi asked angrily.
"Was that some sort of summoning scroll for jutsus?" Mito asked as she took cover with her group.
When all of a sudden, several elves started to fly from out of the seal. All of whom were being lead by Licht and Lemiel surprisingly. The two managed to lead their allies around Shukaku who started to attack them.
"This creature is far bigger than I expected." Licht said, sounding a bit unnerved.
"It is, still I think I have a method of containment if you are willing to help." Lemiel said.
Licht smiled, "I would not be here without your help or the help of the emperors." he said sounding grateful.
As the elves manuvered around Shukaku. The dragon newts fro Gabiru's squadron had recovered and attempted to help them. By using Shukaku's anger and impatience against him. The dragon newts managed to distract Shukaku long enough for the elves to use a special magic chain that Lemiel engineered. Though originally, it was meant to work as a safety device of some kind or something. Now the prince from Clover Kingdom found himself having to use it as a restraint.
"Hopefully it holds, I had to rush my work to make it bigger." Lemiel said as they continued to connect the chains.
"Just be ready my friend." Licht said as he summoned a large sword from his grimoire.
"Keep putting pressure on him men!" Gabiru ordered as he breathed fire onto Shukaku's face.
"Yes sir!" the lizard men shouted as they also started super heating Shukaku to the best of their ability.
"Get off! Wind Bullet!" Shukaku yells as he sends several lizard men and elves crashing down.
"Partial Expansion Jutsu!" everyone turned to see Choji having arrived.
Using his clan's techniques, Choji caught all of the falling elves and lizard men with his giant hands. Having saved them, Choji gently put them down before running for cover near the other genin.
"Choji?" Shikamaru asked.
"Hey Shika, I saw you guys were in trouble and came with some friends." Choji said before Titanius and several mechanical men arrived on horseback.
"Fire a storm of arrows men! Aim for the face! It's so ugly, a mother would love… to get rid of it, haha!" Titanius ordered.
"Yes your lordship!" The machines yelled as they fired a volley of mechanical arrows.
All of which land near Shukaku's neck area before exploding more into lights that made it look like the Fourth of July. Shukaku growled at the sudden attack as he kept swinging at everyone. As the machines kept supporting from the ground while everyone did their part to keep attacking the bijuu to the best of their ability. Lemiel finally finished connecting his chain as Licht threw his sword into the air.
"Now!" Licht yelled.
"Light Magic: Lavior Gloria!" Lemiel yells as he pierces Shukaku with multiple blasts of light.
"What the hell is this power!?" Shukaku yells as he stumbles back.
Lemiel then aimed his back at the sword, "I hope this works. Combined Technique: Sword of Disruption!" he yells as the sword glows bright and increases in size.
Before Shukaku could raise up a defense. The chains start to glow and restrain keep him place. When he was suddenly stabbed in the chest area and forcefully sent falling down. Where his sandy body completely exploded as Gaara woke up and found himself flying in the air with no way to save himself. At least until he crashed onto a tree branch and started hanging on for his life.
"Was that just some kid this whole time?" Rhya asked with wide eyes.
"I think someone should bring that poor boy down." Licht suggested.
Mito sweat dropped, "That was too intense." she said.
"I need a nap." Arashi said before Titanius arrived.
"This is no time for rest! For we must celebrate! Bring the ale and the…"
*BOOM*
Titanius lowered his head, "Celebrate after we finish cleaning up." he said sadly.
"How bad is it?" Mito asked.
Choji pulled out his bag of chips and nodded, "Not too bad, just some fighting in the streets and some guys holed up in a couple of buildings." He said.
Back at the stadium
Kushina smirked as she and the other mothers finished tying up Malty and the heroes. With that out of the way, Kushina was ready to just run and help her children deal with the bijuu. Only to see Belida's undead army starting to grow in numbers to the point that the Suna and Oto forces were being attacked as well.
"Kushina, I think we might want to deal with the skeletons now." Tsume said as her ninkin started to growl at the undead.
"Push back the demons! Send them back to he-AHHH!" screamed a random Falmuth soldier who stabbed by an axe wielding skeleton.
"They're everywhere! They're everywhere!" A Falmuth cleric cried out before several skeletons piled onto them.
"For his majesty!" yelled a paladin who recklessly ran towards Beldia.
"Eh? You talking to me?" Beldia asked as he faced the incoming Paladin.
"I will take your head with my lance. For the Kingdom of Falmuth is blessed this day by…"
Beldia threw his head on the ground again, "Okay, okay, I get what you mean. Let's fight!" he said the ground started to glow again.
Beldia's body then started to move around like lightning. Before repeatedly clashing his heavy sword against the paladin's lance. Eventually knocking the armored Falmuth soldier onto the ground.
"You may strike me down today, but…"
"Yeah, honor stuff, whatever." Beldia said as he impaled the paladin.
"…you're supposed to let the hero finish his speech." the paladin said before he croaked
Suddenly Seiya attacked the body from behind, "Good, that guy was annoying." he said.
Beldia would have nodded if he could, "I'm all about honor, but sometimes the talking becomes too much." he said before pushing Seiya back. "Anyways, are you done running like a coward?" he asked.
"Yeah, I'm as done as you are with fighting." Seiya responded.
"That doesn't make any sense." Beldia said.
"You don't make any sense." Seiya responded.
"No, you!" Beldia replied as he clashed his sword against Seiya's.
Only to find himself blinded by Naofumi, "Shield Prison!" he yells.
Beldia lost control over his sight as his head was trapped inside of Naofumi's barrier. With his head unable to navigate his body around. Beldia was forced to make his body swing wildly in an attempt to attack the barrier. Only to find himself open for attacks by Seiya.
"Thunder Strike!" Seiya yells as he strikes the body and send it crashing across the arena.
"Damn it! Undead army! This way!" Beldia yelled form inside of the shield prison.
Despite having almost no control over his minions. A few of his undead knights started to stumble towards Naofumi. Who began to attack him before even considering to go near the shield prison.
"Body Double!" Naofumi yells as he used the same skill Seiya learned. Thus creating six copies of himself around the shield, "Lightning Shield!" they all yell.
As the undead attack Naofumi. They are immediately destroyed by a heavy discharge of lightning that completely shattered them. Though this skill could be used for offensive purposes, they're just duplicates of Naofumi.
"Thank kami for loopholes." Naofumi said to himself just as the shield prison timed out. Where he picked up Beldia's head, "Now what to do with you." he said.
"Put me down!" Beldia yelled.
"Sorry, you're in no position to make demands." Naofumi said as he tossed Beldia up and started kicking him around like a soccer ball.
"Hey! This is making me nauseous!" Beldia yelled as his real body started to stumble around like a sick patient.
Naofumi proceeded to kick Beldia around between his body doubles. Right before Seiya jumped in and kicked it into the air. Once the brief fun between the Naofumi clones had ended. Seiya charged up a lot of magic into his next attack.
"Maximum Inferno!" Seiya yelled as he doused Beldia in a heavy explosion of fire.
Followed by several more explosions of the same spell. By now, Naofumi's body doubles all started using their shield techniques to cover the sky. As to avoid Seiya's attempts at overkilling Beldia. Then again, someone of Beldia's power would like survive that. Even if he's nothing but a head by that point.
"How is this guy super cautious and destructive at the same time?" Naofumi asked before watching Mald crash beside him.
"We did it!" Mash cheered while looking slightly battered.
"Mash, don't strain yourself." Ilulu warned.
Mash chuckled, "I'm fine." he said before collapsing.
"Master! Mash is dying!" Filo yells.
"He's not dying, he's just tired Filo." Naofumi said as he helped lift up Mash. "He just needs some medicine and he'll be fine." he said as he pulled out a bottle.
That's when Seiya made a crash landing, "Hey, who told my baggage handler to go on a break?" he asked.
Naofumi groaned at Seiya's response. As it was really difficult to understand what is going on in his head.
"Hey look, that barrier is lifting up." Ilulu said as the area where the kages sit was starting to clear up.
With the Kage
Orochimaru didn't think things through enough. He assumed that Minato let the stress of being Hokage slow him down as well as the fact that perhaps the Raikage was still too much of a brute to have any strategy. He cursed his overconfidence as the Raikage was a dangerous threat whenever he teamed up with his brother Killer Bee during the Third Shinobi War. Especially since all that muscle is supported by a lot of speed that made him the rival of Minato.
"Lariet!" Ay yelled as Orochimaru ended up crashing through the floor under them.
"Keep still Ay." Minato yelled.
"Not fast enough, help me finish this parasite Hokage." Ay said he narrowly missed a punch to Orchimaru's gut.
"I will, for the Sandaime's memory. This man needs to die." Minato said seriously.
Orochimaru was about to retort when suddenly, Eraser Kaiser crashed into the floor with them. With Diablo repeatedly kicking him around before shattering his skull with a stomp of a foot. At least the two demon generals were able to damage the butler or so it seemed as Diablo appeared slightly dirty and his jacket had some minor tears that would require the attention of a tailor.
"What kind of training do butlers take these days?" Kaiser said as he struggled to stand.
"The type to earn the respect of someone equal or greater to that of a demon lord." Diablo said with a smirk.
Eraser Kaiser snarled as he slammed his axe down. Creating a powerful shockwave that sent the kage and Diablo jumping away. Kaiser continued his assault by attempting to dash at the butler. Only to find most of his arms being ripped off. By the time the demon realized this, he let out a scream of pain as the blood started to leak. The last thing he saw was Diablo's ever present smirk as he was lifted by the horns and tossed at Hans who chased after them.
Seeing no real need to work with Kaiser by this point. The injured Hans opened his mouth and swallowed Kaiser's body. As it completely burned away in his stomach.
"Oh my, I see this partnership did not last." Diablo said.
"Whatever, there's no penalty for casualties." Hans said as he slowly regenerated from having eaten Kaiser.
Diablo then decided to take off his jacket and vest and neatly fold them. Which infuriated the demon slime as Diablo did not take him as a serious threat. What was worse was the fact that Diablo would not be his executioner, but rather the owner of the sword that impaled him. Hans let out a screech of pain as he looked up.
"I had assumed that my brothers had finished the job before I had arrived." Said a voice belonging to Adrian "Alucard" Tepes.
Diablo immediately took a knee and placed a hand over his heart, "Your majesty, I did not expect your appearance. Forgive the poor welcoming party." he said.
Alucard jumped down and recalled his sword with his telekinetic abilities, "Do not stress yourself servant. I am not here for the festivities like this is the gala." He said as Diablo stood up. "However, I do believe I have abilities that are more efficient for demon generals." he said.
"Pardon my interruption Emperor Alucard, but I would prefer to finish off this swine." Diablo said as Hans looked angry. "After all, someone of your stature should not lower yourself." he suggested.
"It is quiet alright Diablo. I need the exercise anyways." Alucard said as several more swords appeared around him.
"You think I'm a joke!?" Hans yelled as he dashed towards Alucard.
In response, Alucard raised his hand as a silver seal appeared, "Swords of Revealing Light!" he casts. Suddenly, several swords covered in bright lights surround Hans, "Rain of Light!" he yells next.
With the swords surrounding him, Hans suddenly found it impossible to escape let alone move around. With the spell somehow keeping him restrained in place. Hans had no defense against the incoming waves of light magic projectiles as they pierced his entire body. Hans screamed as the magic had greatly injured him and caused his slime form to shrink.
"H-How!? I-I'm resistant to all types… of magic!" Hans yelled.
"Resistant you say? Well that does not mean you are completely immune now does it?" Alucard asked.
"Resistance and nullification are two separate things your majesty." Diablo said as he enjoyed watching Hans squirm.
"Still, unlike Vali, I do not waste time with trivial matters. Diablo, escort the village leaders out of here." Alucard ordered.
Suddenly Diablo appeared by the Hokage and Raikage, "Time to leave boys." he said before disappearing.
Not even allowing either one to object as they had Orochimaru cornered. Diablo escaped just as Alucard unleashed a powerful light magic. Unfortunately for Orochimaru, he didn't have a chance to escape as he ended up injuring himself during the fight. His only hope were the Sound Four who forced into dropping the barrier earlier due to Alucard's appearance. As he had been given some level of sealing knowledge by Naruto in the past in order to break the technique.
"Don't worry Orochimaru-sama! We'll save you!" Jirobo yells as he jumped down first.
"Hurry! There's no telling what that man will do!" Orochimaru yelled.
Only it was too late, "Giant Wrath!" Alucard yells as he unleashed a powerful surge of light magic.
Enough to completely destroy this area of the arena and kill Hans in the process. This also ended up taking the lives of most of the Sound Four as some attempted to run from the attack. Though it would be difficult to say whether or not Orochimaru survived or not due to all of the debris Alucard caused.
Outside
Everyone on all sides ran away from the collapse of the section of the arena Alucard destroyed. As it also caused a large dust cloud to spread around the streets of the village. Though some shinobi were able to use their jutsus to create barriers to block the smoke. Along with a few mages from Makai's faction to generate more barriers or use wind techniques to blow away all of the smoke.
Meanwhile Alucard stepped out of the debris in a small dome he created. Acting as if nothing had happened.
"Damn, I went overboard. Though hopefully I killed the snake sannin I heard so much about." Alucard said his senses could not let him locate one specific individual among the siege. "Oh well, hopefully I can help clean up this mess. Then get to work on helping the injured." he said as he walked out of the arena.
Unaware of all the looks he was receiving.
Alucard looked up at the sky and saw as reinforcements had arrived via several airships from makai. The son of the legendary dracula could only wonder what brought this on. As this whole invasion was much more than the acts of selfishness and pride from ordinary humans.
Later that evening, Namikaze residence
With all the fighting having finally been finished and Momon turning into a dragon along with unleashing a wave of her security automatons. The victory had belonged to Konoha and it's visiting allies. Leaving them with having to understand how this mess began. As the higher ups had to learn more about the demons that were assisting Orcohimaru's forces. Especially when some of them had the potential to actually kill the snake sannin himself.
Along with the fact that Falmuth had suddenly appeared with their heroes to attack the village. Believing Konoha to be a place filled with heretics that followed the ways of their faith's version of evil. Only now, it seemed like Primarch Dysley had more work to do on his end with this information being sent to him.
Now, everyone else had to deal with the aftermath of the battle. Especially with casualties and other private issues.
"We're lucky that the heroes did minor damage. A lot of noise, but casualties weren't horrible." Vali said.
"That does not make them any less tragic." Alucard said as he read the overall report.

"Hey, with you being all uptight about us keeping Makai governed. What motivated you to come this way?" Vali asked.
"A important message. I think an old threat may have a foot hold in this realm." Alucard answered as he put the report down.
"And what would that be?" Naruto asked, feeling serious again.
"The cult, organization or whatever you make of it that once followed Dumas." Alcuard said filling the air with tension.
"This better not be a wild rumor Adrian. You know how the big guy gets." Vali warned.
"It's not rumor, there's a lot of evidence to support this theory. As much I wish it wasn't true, the followers of our old foe may be back." Alucard explained.
"And is this why you helped Licht head home?" Vali asked.
"Licht is a dependable ally, but with us exalting him very recently along with organization his tribe. It would be too much trouble to force him into this situation this early." Alucard answered.
Naruto nodded, "He's right, we can slowly bring Licht into understanding the situation. However, we have to focus on current events first." he said said just as Kushina arrived with drinks.
"I hope you three aren't trying to overwork yourselves." Kushina said before looking at the Dhampir. "Hello there, I am Kushina Uzumaki, Naruto-kun's mother." she said as she extended her hand.
Alucard gently took it and kissed it, "Fairly young to be a mother, I say." he said as Kushina giggled.
"Such a charmer." Kushina said as she saw Alucard as a young boy like she did with Naruto despite his age increase.
"Okaa-sama, how are the little ones?" Naruto asked.
"Ichigo-chan and kairi-chan exhausted themselves from crying the whole day. I guess the battle really terrified them." Kushina said as she was concerned for her grandchildren during ehr arrival. "Then there's the pink haired baka fox who wired the house with traps to protect everyone while we were gone." she adds.
"A shotgun almost took my head off." Ram said as she walked by.
"Your mouth would have been a better target." Vali muttered before a plate hit head.
"I apologize Emperor Vali, the plates have turned against you." Ram said pretending that she did not assault him.
"You're mean." Vali said as he rubbed his head.
"Enough, there is no use in fighting with Ram and there's no use in Ram trying to beat sense into Vali." Naruto said as Ram and Kushina left the room. "Anyways, despite the deaths of three general level demons. We still have one more." he said as he pulled out a jar.
"Oh yeah, mask guy." Vali said as he chuckled.
"Mask guy?" Alucard asked while looking confused.
"His name is Vanir. We have yet to properly gain any information from him. Maybe someone with vampiric abilities could manipulate him." Naruto suggested.
Alucard took the jar and studied it, "It may be worth a try. Though perhaps someone on Shaltear or Sophia's level would be better suited for this." He said.
Vali leaned back in his chair, "If not, maybe Arachne can force something out of him. If not, try to find his real body." he suggested.
"Whatever we do, it has to be done fast." Naruto said.
Outside, between the mansion and embassy
Yasaka smiled as she saw her oldest daughter run up to Melty and Filo where she engulfed them both in a hug.
"I'm happy your both safe." Kunou said.
"Filo is happy too, but glad that master and everyone else saved the day again." Filo responded as the girls giggled.
"I'm just happy we can put this behind us. A lot of good people risked their lives in the battle." Melty said sounding solemn. "I just hope my sister and the fallen heroes haven't done anything to cause any pain." she said as she witnessed the stupidity of the heroes at first glance.
Kunou nodded, "It's okay Filo, there's still the Shield Hero and Sword Hero who did their best." she said.
While Naofumi was in the stadium with Seiya. Ren was outside tending to the guard shifts at building designated at Melromarc's embassy. Kunou didn't witness it, but merely overheard that Ren was with several of Melromarc's soldiers that were absolutely loyal to the queen. All of them fighting alongside a few of the automatons of Momon when the enemy tried to attack the Hokage's home and since they were so close to it, they got caught in the crossfire.
Still, at least Ren didn't try to blame anyone for any mistakes and managed to drive the enemy off.
"I guess there's hope after all then. In dire times, optimism helps right?" Melty asked.
"Yeah!" Filo yells as the girls giggle.
Right outside of the Melromarc Embassy
Seiya was lying the ground and staring at the wound on his arm. During the fights at the arena. Seiya took some damage after Beldia was killed since he wasn't the only threat. Leaving Ilulu as his only healer along with the medicine he bought from Naofumi… which he used after testing it on other things several times of course. Still, he ended up bandaging his wrist after he took a heavy cut from a suna shinobi who was proficient in wind ninjutsu.
Seiya mentally berated himself since he felt reckless for letting someone of a lower level harm him so easily. At the same time, he kept thinking about how much he would haze Rista for not being around.
"Useless goddess, when I actually want you around. You decide to give me too much space. It's bad enough I can't train in the Divine Realm." Seiya muttered.
"If she's useless, then wouldn't need her at all." Naofumi said as he walked by.
"Leave me alone." Seiya said.
"I was until I heard that. I get you're the loner type and I'm not the type of guy who offers advice anymore, but let me tell you this. You should learn to appreciate your party. You're stronger in a group than doing whatever you feel like a reckless moron." Naofumi said.
Seiya huffed but did not say anything as Naofumi left. Still, with what Naofumi went through and it turning out to be true. Seiya wasn't going to go out of his way to befriend the Shield Hero. Since it's his nature to be cautious around everyone and be as strong as possible for any situation. However, what he did say had caught his attention. Almost like as if he really was taking more risks by going on his own when his party follows him. That's why Naofumi likes to fight alone, but at the same time… he can't help but feel this burden when thinking about Mash and Ilulu getting hurt.
'What is this feeling? There's no way I'm a tsundere or some crap.' Seiya thought before the same image of a brown haired girl with a purple bow appeared in his head. 'Then again, I need that useless goddess as much I hate to say or think about it.' he thought as he sat up.
He then looked on as he saw Naofumi laughing alongside Raphtalia and Rishia. Seiya closed his eyes and sighed.
"I am nowhere near ready." Seiya said to himself.
It would be a long stay in Konoha. Even longer for him to start training himself for the next conflict.
With Ristarte
"Hey! Don't be so rough!" the blond goddess yelled as she was forcefully dragged.
After having defeating Beel Bub, one of the Heavenly Kings of Gaeabrande's Demon Lord army. Rista found herself in a whole new realm outside of Gaeabrande and the Divine Realm. More specifically, in a prison cell where her abilities were nullified. Rista was no fighter like Adenela or Valkyrie and this made it more difficult for her. Only recently, did the goddess find herself being taken to her jailer.
Now chained and dragged, Rista found herself standing in the presence of a blond woman. At initial glance, she was a real beauty with a voluptuous body that men would die for and women would envy. Long blond hair that was tight neatly into one giant braid that hanged over her shoulder, a heavy amount of red lipstick with long painted nails and a Greek like style of dressing.
The woman smiled as she saw Rista, "Put her down boys." she commanded.
The woman's minions proceeded to make Rista kneel. While holding her as to keep her from running away. As the woman walked up to Rista and gently raised up her chin.
"My my, you are very beautiful. I'm so glad to add you to my collection." the woman said, sounding happy.
"Eh?" was all Rista could say.
"But where do I put you? I can't have you collect dirt." the woman said.
Rista sweat dropped, "Listen here lady, I don't know if you realize this, but I'm a goddess. The Goddess of Healing, Ristarte, nice to meet you." she said dryly.
The woman sighed, "Sweetie, don't give me back talk. I don't want to do anything to damage you." she said. "Oh and I know what you are. Quiet frankly, that's why I wanted to collect you." she said surprising Rista. "You along with red haired woman in the blue dress. I only collect the most beautiful of humans and goddesses." she said.
"Who the heck are you, crazy lady!?" Rista asked before she was forcefully gripped by the cheeks.
"You are really stressing me with that mouth of yours. Quiet frankly, I should expect this from a lesser goddess. Where I am the most beautiful and amazing them of all." the woman replied.
"You can't be that good if I never heard of you. Even Adenela is quite famous and she rarely gets dressed for work." Rista said with a snort.
The woman smirked back, "Then you must be blind if you can not recognize me. For I am, the one and only Aphrodite of Olympus. The Goddess of Love, Beauty and far greater than anyone could dream to be." she said.
"Okay, I might believe that with your ego." Rista said.
Unlike what most humans on earth believe. Aphrodite is typically an arrogant bitch who gets petty for whenever someone else is deemed more beautiful than her. She is also said to be very petty when it comes to someone else being considered more beautiful than her. Aphrodite is also quite offended by anyone who says anything mean about the concept of love. Overall, she's as petty as relatives on Olympus.
Nothing more than a petulant child with too much power. Everyone except Hestia of course, but she's described to be very cowardly. Then there's Hades who limits his own involvement despite most people depicting him as a villain for some odd reason.
"Well believe it dear, because you are one of the lucky few selected to be my servant." Aphrodite said.
"Yeah… no. Let me go, seriously. I think Ishtar might get mad when she hears about this and I'm not talking about Babylonian Ishtar." Rista said.
Aphrodite laughed, "No dear, you weren't listening. For I make all of the rules." she said before walking back to her couch. "Take her back, I'll figure out what to assign her in a moment." she said.
"Hey! Let me go! I swear! If the other gods don't arrive! Seiya will and he's going to slap you! Slap you so hard that Rosalie's bruises will look like bug bites!" Rista yelled as she was taken back.
Only this time, to a new cell. Where she encountered a red haired goddess who was chained to the wall in the cell next to hers.
"Ouch!" Rista yelled as she was tossed inside.
"Oh my goodness! Are you another goddess!?" the other goddess asked.
"Yeah, I'm guessing I'm not the only one that got caught." Rista answered with a sad voice.
"Don't worry, you can't lose hope yet. That bitch has a lot of power, but has no idea how to use it." the woman said with venom in her voice.
Rista sighed as she sat on her new bed, "I'm guessing she's that bad? What is she making you do?" she asked.
"Using me like some sort of trophy for display." the woman answered.
"Display? Why? Because you're the prettiest?" Rista asked.
"Much worse, you won't believe this, but… I'm the real Aphrodite!" the goddess exclaimed.
Rista gave her a tired stare, "Sure…" she said.
"I'm serious!" Aphrodite said as she stomped her heel onto the floor. "Listen, over a thousand years ago. That wench was constantly preying for good looks and all that crap. Me, trying to be nice for once. Attempted to answer that prayer and one thing lead to another…" she stopped and gestured to her chains.
"Well if that's true. Weren't you treated like a trophy?" Rista asked.
"I did until she caught onto my plan." Aphrodite answered. "Basically, you know already that your powers are gone. But that's not entirely true, that wench stole your power for herself along with mine." she said.
"Are you serious!? Then she's a multi planetary level threat!" Rista yells.
"SHH! The guards will hear you!" Aphrodite said silencing her. "Anyways, what you don't know is that Greek gods like myself always have a Roman counterpart." she said.
"I do know that. Aphrodite has Venus." Rista said.
"Yes, because that's me! Not only that, but they're actually like secondary personalities and she took mine!" Aphrodite explained.
"So? What does that have to do with anything?" Rista asked.
Aphrodite sighed with slow Rista was learning, "If we can take out my counterpart. That wench will get weaker, if not make her stacking ability collapse." she said.
"Okay, so what you want to do is somehow release Venus?" Rista asked.
"Yes." Aphrodite answered.
"And you want my help, if not everyone's help? The ones that were captured and willing to help?" Rista asked.
"Yes, can I rely on you? I think a millennium here won't suit you." Aphrodite said with a worried face.
Rista sighed, 'What choice do I have?' she thought as she saw the other cells down the narrow hallway. 'We all have to get out and I need to help Seiya.' she thought.
Unaware of the masterminds that are more dangerous than Aphrodite's impersonator that were playing a more dangerous game.

NOTES: For anyone wondering, the fake goddess is basically the goddess from Tsukimichi Moonlight Fantasy. She will have a relatively large role, but you will see who the real antagonist is in the next chapter.
Also the real Aphrodite's physical appearance will be based on the version from Fate. Her Venus side will be based on Danmachi's Aphrodite. I thought it would be a twist of irony since Tsukimichi pretty much hinted out that the goddess is Aphrodite. While ironically, despite their attitudes, the Danmachi and Fate versions of Aphrodite are generally more good hearted people and care for humans.
