Chapter 9 New York Trip

Tsukasa's POV

We talked to Emu's brothers, and they agreed to fly my entire troupe, as well as Ichika and Saki, down to New York with me.

Before we knew it…Golden Week was upon us, and the time of the trip had arrived.

Currently, we were at the airport, about to depart.

Ichika and Saki were hugging their band mates tightly.

"I'm gonna miss you guys so much", Saki exclaimed.

"I'm going to miss you both too", Ichika added.

"We're gonna miss you both too", Honami stated. "But It'll just be for a week, and then we'll be together again."

"You guys better enjoy your break in New York", Shiho warned. "Once you two come back home, you're gonna have to practice extra hard to make up for the time you lost."

"Oh come on, Shiho-Chan", Saki whined. "That's no fair!"

Before anything else could happen…an announcement that our flight would be boarding soon played.

"Well", Ichika started. "We should probably get going."

With that, Ichika and her friends had one last embrace as tears welled up in their eyes.

"We're going now."

"Come back home safely."

We were now in New York.

After taking a day to rest, we met up with Natsu at his school.

"Tsukasa-San", he greeted when we arrived. "I'm so glad that you made it, and I see that your friends have decided to join you."

"We wanted to see for ourselves if this school will truly help Tsukasa-Kun in achieving his goal", Rui revealed.

"Well then", Natsu started. "What are we waiting for? The theater program's end of year show is about to begin."

I was watching the show, and my heart was racing as I did.

Everything about it was amazing. It made me feel something that I could not explain.

After the show…Natsu pulled me aside.

"So", he started. "What did you think?"

"It was amazing", I replied. "I can't believe that these are merely students!"

"Now do you see what I was talking about", Natsu asked. "Attending this school will be your best shot at achieving your dream of becoming the world's number one star!"

After Natsu says this…I looked down sadly.

Then…I turned to look at my troupe, and my dearest sister, and my beloved Ichika.

All the people I love so dearly. All the people I may have to leave.
