Chapter 10 Everyone's Support

Ichika's POV

I woke up on the sleeper couch that Saki and I were sharing when I had somebody moving.

I sat up before looking around, and saw Tsukasa walk onto the balcony of the suite we were staying in.

"Go talk to him, Ichi-Chan", Saki whispered.

"Okay", I whispered before getting out of bed.

Then…I walked onto the balcony…where I saw Tsukasa staring at the stars.

"Couldn't sleep", I asked, giving Tsukasa a bit of a shock as he turned around and saw me.

"Oh", he started when he realized who it was. "It's you, Ichika."

With that, I walked up to Tsukasa…and placed my head on his shoulder.

"Tsukasa", I started. "Please be honest with me."

Knowing what I meant by this, Tsukasa sighed sadly.

"I think that…Natsu is right", he revealed. "Attending his school would be my best chance at becoming the world's number one star."

Hearing these words made my heart ache.

"Then…", I started. "You should do it."

I tried my best, but I was unable to stop the tears that were beginning to fall.

"Ichika", Tsukasa started in concern as he cupped my face with his hands.

"I will miss you, so much", I stated. "But…It's like I said. One of the things I've always loved about you is how determined you've always been to achieve your goal."

"But…", Tsukasa started. "What will happen between you and I if I leave?"

"Let's not worry about that now", I said as I cupped Tsukasa's cheek with my hand. "Right now, we're together, and that's all that matters."

With these words, Tsukasa place his forehead onto mine.

"I love you so much, Tsukasa", I said.

"And I love you too, Ichika", Tsukasa said. "And that will never change, even if I leave. After all, absence makes the heart fonder."

After Tsukasa said these…he pulled me into a tight embrace.

Then…I heard crying from behind me.

I looked up…and saw Saki watching us…tears falling from her eyes.

"Saki…", Tsukasa started.

But before he could finish…Saki ran into his arms.

"I'm gonna miss you so much, Onii-Chan", she exclaimed. "But…it's like Ichi-Chan said! I want you to follow your dreams!"

After Saki said this…I heard even more crying.

I looked up again…and saw Emu, Nene and Rui.

"Waaaaah", Emu yelled out before barreling herself into Tsukasa's chest. "I'm gonna miss Tsukasa-Kun too, but also I want him to make tons of more people smile!"

"Indeed", Rui agreed as he walked onto the balcony along with Nene. "So promise us that you'll do your best, Tsukasa-Kun."

"I will", Tsukasa replied.

"You'd better", Nene demanded. "Otherwise you would've made Emu, Hoshino-San, and your sister cry for nothing."

As Nene said this…I noticed a tear falling from her face.

Tsukasa smiled before looking at everybody.

"Everyone", he started. "Thank you for your support. In return, I will get into that school and do my best!"
