Chapter 5

After a fun, exciting day of exploring a few popular spots in Nashville, Drew and Christina are headed back home. Christina was contemplating how Drew was such a gentleman today and almost had their moment. While Drew was driving, he knew he almost cheated on Kaitlyn while leaning in to kiss Christina. He knew it was wrong but being with Christina felt right. Kaitlyn called Drew to see how it was going, but realistically, she wanted to make sure Christina didn't get in too deep with him. She does not trust Christina and vice versa. Christina called her out about her cheating on Drew and she does not want her to expose her. She knows Drew will not believe Christina unless there is sufficient proof of her cheating. Wanting to distract that situation, she came up with the idea of cooking dinner before her "night shift". Drew and Christina just made it back to the house and they greeted Kaitlyn while she was cooking.

"My love, we're home." Drew shouted.

"I'm in the kitchen baby." Kaitlyn replied.

"Smells delicious, in here. What are you cooking today, love?" Drew asked her.

"Homemade spaghetti with meatballs." Kaitlyn answered.

(Sorry bitch, I don't trust you with your cooking.)

"That sounds good." Christina added.

"Yes, it does! Cannot wait to eat when it is done." Drew said.

"Both of you must wait. It will be done soon." Kaitlyn replied with her fake smile directly towards Christina.

"No worries. We had a fun and exciting day. Going to take my nap." Christina said, giving Kaitlyn a fake smile as well.

"I have an online interview with Sports Illustrated to get ready for." Drew added.

"Such a workhorse." Christina told him.

"Yes, I am, and I wouldn't change a thing." Drew said.

"I will let you both know when dinner is ready." Kaitlyn replied.

"Cool, see you both later." Christina told them and went upstairs to go take her nap.

"I'll see you after my interview, love." Drew leaned in and kissed Kaitlyn.

"Okay, baby." Kaitlyn replied.

After Drew went upstairs to go into his office for his online interview with Sports Illustrated, Kaitlyn's cell phone rang, and it was her male co-worker calling her. She knew it was him because of the specific ring tone she assigned to him. While she was talking on the phone, Christina came downstairs to get a glass of water. She sees Kaitlyn on the phone and knew it was the man she was in the car with earlier this morning. She overhears the conversation, listening to what Kaitlyn was talking about. Christina has a terrible feeling in her gut, knowing she will not be going to work tonight, she will be spending the night with that man. Kaitlyn didn't notice Christina came downstairs into the kitchen. Christina ran back upstairs and started to get frustrated and angry at what she heard. Kaitlyn is literally playing with Drew in their house, and it is making her sick to her stomach. She knew Kaitlyn just lied not only to her, but specifically to Drew. This is getting harder for her to keep this secret from him, but with no sufficient proof, how can she tell Drew about Kaitlyn's indiscretions. She needed to lay down, take her nap and clear her head and figure out a plan to expose Kaitlyn with Drew present.

Two hours later…

Kaitlyn finished cooking dinner. She called Drew and Christina to come down and eat. Drew finished his online interview with Sports Illustrated an hour before. Christina heard Kaitlyn's call to come down for dinner and she knew it was time to eat, but she didn't feel like eating after eavesdropping on her conversation with her lover. She must keep her cool or else she will explode on her, and Drew would not allow it. Knowing it was time to eat, she got up, brushed her teeth, and went downstairs to sit in the dining room. She smiled seeing Drew wearing his black tank top that shows off his sexy muscles, his long black hair loose, and he's wearing black basketball shorts, which almost made her lose it. She sat down next to him while Kaitlyn was sitting next to him across the table as well. Seeing how her food looks delicious, but wondering it has flavor, unlike her salty ass.

"Wow, Kaitlyn. This looks good." Christina started.

"Wait until you taste it." Kaitlyn replied.

(Hope you didn't poison my food, slut.)

"I agree with Christina love, this looks great." Drew added.

"Thank you, baby. Let's eat." Kaitlyn replied and they all started eating.

Within ten minutes of eating their food, Kaitlyn decided to speak up.

"So, since I'll be working late again tonight, what are your plans for tonight?" Kaitlyn asked them.

(You're working alright, by sitting on another man's lap, cunt.)

"Just chilling and resting for the evening. Why?" Christina asked.

"Tired from exploring Nashville, already?" Kaitlyn retorted, with a sarcastic tone.

"It's only the first day, which means there are other places I want to see." Christina answered back, starting to get tense.

Drew noticed the tension between the two ladies and decided to change the subject.

"Do you ladies want to know how my interview went with Sports Illustrated?" Drew chimed in.

"Yes, please do tell." Christina agreed. Deep inside, she thanked him for changing the conversation because she was inches away from going across the table and whipping Kaitlyn's ass.

"Sure, baby." Kaitlyn replied.

"They may offer me a chance to be on the cover and have a spread on their magazine." Drew explained.

"Oh my God! That's wonderful news Drew!" Christina replied, feeling excited.

"Yes, it is baby." Kaitlyn said, but with a fake smile.

Christina noticed Kaitlyn's tone of voice that didn't sound happy and excited for him. She knew her man is very popular, and it looks like she's insecure about her man and wants all the attention for herself.

"I don't mean to sound rude, but you didn't sound too thrilled with the news." Christina said, confronting her.

"What are you talking about?" Kaitlyn asked, getting annoyed.

"I can hear it in your voice and I'm sure Drew did too." Christina replied.

"Drew, baby, you know I am happy for you." Kaitlyn assured him.

"Bullshit!" Christina yelled.

"Christina, please stop." Drew pleaded.

"No, baby. Let her talk. I want to hear what she has to say." Kaitlyn told him.

"Drew, I don't mean to say this, but here it goes, Kaitlyn and I have been going at it since I arrived here." Christina started to explain.

"That's not true, baby." Kaitlyn told him.

"Yes, it is Kaitlyn! Don't act like you don't know what I am talking about!" Christina stated, getting angry.

"Christina, why are you acting like this?" Drew asked her.

"Because it's the truth, Drew!" Christina told him.

"I'm not going to sit here and be insulted by an insecure little girl." Kaitlyn said.

"Don't you ever call me an insecure little girl! I'm a grown woman and for your information, It's you who's insecure!" Christina answered back.

"Ladies, enough!" Drew yelled out with his thick Scottish accent.

"I'm going to get ready for work." Kaitlyn said, getting up from the table.

"You're going to work, alright!" Christina replied, getting up as well.

"Excuse me?!" Kaitlyn was getting annoyed.

"You think I don't know!" Christina screamed.

"Christina, stop! Please go upstairs." Drew intervened.

"Drew, I saw her kissing another man earlier today!" Christina yelled out.

There was silence in the room after Christina blurted out what she witnessed earlier this morning.

"What the fuck are you talking about?!" Drew asked, angrily.

"Baby, you see how she's spreading lies and accusations about me. I would never cheat on you." Kaitlyn said.

"Are you kidding me right now?! I saw you and you know it!" Christina yelled.

"So, if you claimed to see me kissing another man, do you have proof?" Kaitlyn replied with an evil smirk.

"I saw it with my own eyes!" Christina yelled.

"See, Drew, she doesn't have proof." Kaitlyn replied.

"You know what, I'm not going to stand for this. Drew, I'm sorry but if you believe her that's fine. I'm going to leave tomorrow morning. I can't take this anymore." Christina said, starting to cry and started sprinting upstairs.

"Aww, can't handle the truth?" Kaitlyn told her.

"I know my truth and it's unfortunate that Drew can't see with his own eyes what type of person you really are!" Christina screamed.

Drew was taking it all in on what transpired between the two women.

"Look, I'm going to be late for work. Tell your guest I said good night." Kaitlyn told Drew and left the house.

Drew stood there, not knowing what to do or say after everything that happened. On one hand, he wants to believe Kaitlyn. But on the other hand, he wonders if Christina is telling the truth. Feeling conflicted, he went upstairs to check on Christina and saw her crying while packing her things.

"Christina." Drew called.

"Drew, please leave me alone." Christina told him, tears falling down her face.

"Listen, please don't leave." Drew pleaded.

"Why? Why shouldn't I leave?!" Christina yelled.

"Because of what you said about Kaitlyn. I don't know what to believe right now." Drew replied.

"I saw it with my own eyes, Drew. I would never lie to you like this." Christina told him, with more tears coming down her face.

Drew couldn't take seeing her cry. His first instinct was to hug her and plead for her to stay.

"Christina, I don't want you to go. You're my special guest and I really want you to stay." Drew whispered in her ear.

"I don't know." Christina told him.

"Can you sleep on it?" Drew asked

"I'll sleep on it, but as of now, I'm still planning on leaving." Christina replied.

"I won't let that happen." Drew assured her.

Christina stopped crying, hugged Drew back and was getting ready to go to bed. Drew left and went to his bedroom to contemplate what to do. He loves Kaitlyn deeply, but after what Christina said tonight, he doesn't know who to believe. He doesn't want her to leave but wonders if she's telling the truth when there is no proof. He reminisced what happened between them today and he almost kissed Christina. If Kaitlyn hadn't called him, he would have pursued the kiss, but he knew it was wrong. Feeling drained from what happened tonight, his eyes were feeling sleepy, and he drifted off to sleep.

The next morning…

Christina woke up and realized what happened last night had come back to her mind. She exposed Kaitlyn in front of Drew but knew she didn't have proof to back up her claims. She may have ruined her chance of professing her love to him. She felt like crying but she pulled it together and got up to brush her teeth and went downstairs. She took her phone with her just in case. She sees a full plate of eggs, sausages, and bacon, knowing Drew made it for her. She smiled but knew he was trying to get her to stay. Her eyes start welling up with tears again, but she wiped them and took her breakfast to heat it up. Like clockwork, she heard the car pulling into the driveway and this time, she was prepared. She saw Kaitlyn getting out of the car with her lover, sees her kissing him. Christina took three pictures and ran back into the kitchen, getting ready to eat her breakfast. Yesterday was exhausting for her, but today, she now has proof to expose Kaitlyn to the real person she is behind her so-called innocent façade. Before exposing Kaitlyn, she texted the pictures to her parents and her girlfriends Leslie, and Denise.

Texts:

Christina's mom: Sweetheart, what's going on?

Christina: Mommy, that's the woman Drew's with and she's cheating on him.

Christina's mom: Oh my God! That's horrible!

Christina: Got into it with her last night in front of Drew.

Christina's mom: Please, be careful, darling. Love you more.

Christina: I will Mommy. Love you always. I'll keep you posted.

Christina's mom: Please do.

After texting her mom, Leslie and Denise texted her.

Leslie: I knew it! She's a cheating cunt!

Denise: Me too! She's caught!

Christina: I confronted and exposed her last night in front of Drew. She was trying to get Drew to not believe me. Was crying but Drew comforted me. Had no proof before but I do now!

Leslie: Drew needs to wake up and realize who she really is!

Denise: Yes, he does, and he will! Remember if you need us to come down there and kick her ass, don't hesitate to call us.

Christina: I know, and I love you girls so much! I'll let you know.

Leslie and Denise: We love you!

After she finished texting her loved ones, Christina sat down and was eating her breakfast when she noticed Kaitlyn coming into the house. Her blood starts to boil again, but now she has sufficient proof of her cheating on Drew. She had a feeling Drew didn't believe her with no proof of her cheating on him. Now she will use the opportunity to expose her once and for all.
