The Grant twins, Adam & Carter, get assigned to do research on the planet Krypton with Kara whom they invite over to the Penthouse to do said research. After a while of doing it, both boys decide to go swimming but before they do they direct her to a bathroom to get ready. Once she finishes she rushes to the pool but on the way she crashes into a very solid & toned body which turns out to be the Queen of All Media herself. They get up off the floor & introduce themselves to each other. A few minutes later Cat excuses herself because she needs to get ready for an event but what she doesn't know's that the young woman she just met'll be the centerpiece of said event.
When Cat gets to the event she's asked to pick out a number. After that, she meets Perry & Alexa whereupon she asks what the chips mean & when Perry sees what her chip's he tells her she'll have the ability to get whoever she wants that's going to be sold. After that Zor-El calls for the auction to begin. Once she sees Kara's being sold she exchanges Ruby Arias for her. A few hours later said event ends & Cat decides to go to the Grand Mariner Hotel of National City where they spend the rest of the evening relaxing whereupon Cat asks why Kara'd been there & when she finds out why she becomes very upset. In the end, Kara gets her to calm down by stating she rather've Cat have her than anyone else. After that Cat formulates a plan so that no one'll ever have Kara ever again. She ends up being so into her plan that she doesn't notice Kara straddling her until Kara starts moving up & down on her then she reacts strongly to it. So much so that she causes the other to run into the bathroom due to embarrassment. A few minutes later she comes back out so that they can discuss their other 'encounter' which comes to fruition sooner than they'd like because Kara hears a knock on the door. Cat whispers for her to get her clothes off & to get into bed while Cat takes off her clothes & dons a bathrobe then gets the door. When the person on the other side sees what's happened they politely apologize & go on their way to report what transpired. A few minutes later Kara gets a call from her father. Cat takes the phone & proceeds to tell him how much she's enjoyed his daughter. She says she'd like to keep it up so he says they'll just keep meeting at the hotel. Cat says she misheard him. Kara'll be living with her until she gets tired of said arrangement. After that, they iron out the details. The next morning she moves in them when her 15th name-day comes around Cat & the boys host a surprise party for her. Once she gets to the rooftop & sees it all she bursts into tears of joy because since she came to live with the Zor-El's they'd never done this for her. A few hours later everyone goes home & the Grant boys decide to stay at a friend's place so the two blondes can have the house to themselves but before they can enjoy it her father comes to pick up the money for using her then leaves. After that Kara becomes agitated about her life & flips the fuck out. She ends up severely hurting Cat which causes her to flee the scene. A few minutes later she comes across a strange device that sucks her into a mysterious portal where she ends up waking up on a strange table & looking at a man she's never seen before. He asks her name & when she tells him along with other things he becomes shocked because he thought she'd been dead but in the end, Vasquez realizes this' another Kara Zor-El. The next evening she rushes out of there because she hears cries for help. Once its al over she stands there a bloody mess because she brutally killed the would-be rapists & after that, she decides to become an avenging angel.
After a while, she interferes with the wrong people so they decide to teach her a lesson after which they use a tachyon device to send her somewhere else. This causes amnesia where in the end she gets caught by CADMUS where she gets turned into a CADUS agent of the highest caliber. During that time she gets intrigued by Lena Kieran Luthor to the point she forgets about Cat & the rest of the Cat's of the Multiverse where, later on, Zor-El gets called to accompany Lillian Luthor to a LuthorCORP function. Once there, they settle into their seats. While Lillian converses with the other occupants Zor-El looks around for signs of impending trouble' After that she excuses herself because she'll need to do a perimeter check. In the end, she comes across a situation involving a mysterious brunette & Veronica 'Roulette' Sinclair where Roulette tells her to mind her business. Zor-El replies that she should know by now that Agent Zor-El won't be doing so & that the other should leave like she always does. Once she disappears Zor-El checks up on the other; Lena says she's fine & doesn't need help but when she hears familiar footsteps she pulls Zor-El in for an out-of-this-world kiss. In the end, those footfalls belong to Morgan Edge & Lillian, who raises an eyebrow at the situation, & smirk. She then turns around leaving the others behind. Once she sees that Edge makes the other uncomfortable she wraps her arms around the other's waist & Lena puts her arms around Zor-El's neck. When Edge sees nothing'll become anything between him & Lena so he goes back the way he came but Zor-El can still feel him lingering around a corner so she begins kissing Lena's neck. Lena sees what's going on so she lets it continue. She ends up feeling Zor-El's other appendage & caresses it after which she gets on her knees to give the other a blowjob. In the end, Edge sees enough & finally returns to the event. A few minutes later Lillian introduces them to each other which causes Zor-El to blush profusely then Lena whispers that she shouldn't get shy on her now as Zor-El had her dick in the other's mouth. After that, they sit down to enjoy the rest of said evening but soon DEO agents crash the event & engage hidden CADMUS agents.
In the ensuing scuffle, Lena gets severely hurt which sends Zor-El into a rage. In the battle, she kills several DEO agents. After a while, Lillian, her, Lena & the remaining CADMUS agents flee to their secret lair where the doctor tries to save her daughter but fails so she tells her new agent to turn Lena into a vampire like herself. A few hours after that Lena awakens to her new life. Once she sees her 1st human she drains them almost completely to the point she herself almost dies but Zor-El rescues her from herself. Lena then takes a bite out of her maker which makes her horny. They end up having sex but halfway through it, the real Hank Henshaw tells her she's wanted in the command center where it's revealed that her new assignment's to watch over Lena until she can get her vampireness under control. A few months later they reveal their relationship at a gala event. During the said event they meet three covens where they try to persuade Zor-El to join them but she refuses so to smooth things over she dances with each coven's respective lead females. Later she returns to her newly-acquired mate. A few hours later they return home where they decide to get some sleep. The next day Zor-El gets called on a new mission Meanwhile Zor-El's assignment takes her to Forks, WA where she's undercover as Chief Swan's adoptive teenage sister where it's her job to recruit the nomad coven of James, Victoria & Laurent but in the end, James & Victoria get killed by the Quileute & Lena to a conference in Geneva.
Charlie picks her up from the bus stop then they go see his friend Billy Black. After that Charlie excuses himself because he needs to talk to Sam Ulley. After that Billy says he knows who she's whereupon she replies she knows about some of his tribesmen & as long as they don't do anything to her she won't do anything to them. Once that's established they shake hands & join everyone in the circle where the tribesmen tell story upon story about their people until uninvited guests show up. Once they disappear 'Alura' excuses herself where she contacts her boss to tell her she'll probably be there for a while'. She says this because she wants to take a break from her job. Later on, Charlie reveals he knows about vampires & shapeshifters but didn't say anything because he wanted to lead a normal life away from being an ex-CADMUS agent; this happened because he fell in love with Renee & after that, they go about their weekend where he gets called away to lead a rescue mission, Bella spends time with her boyfriend & 'Alura' ends up running into Esme who asks her if she'd like to help with errands that way Esme gets her things done while 'Alura' can familiarize herself with the town. A few hours later they return to the Cullen mansion where they make dinner for Bella then after that everyone goes their ways. Once, Carlisle sees the new vampire not knowing what to do with herself he asks Edward to use his telepathy &, just like Bella, he can't get a read on her but Jasper uses his pathokinesis. After that, she decides to go outside where she finds Emmet & Rosalie talking & when she lays eyes on the other blonde it feels like her world's stopped' It ends up scaring her so she runs away whereupon she aimlessly wanders the Earth for a few months where she then ends up in Volterra, Italy & after staying there for a while she returns to Lena. They try to go on with their relationship but in the end, they break it off which gets Lillian angry with her but before the woman can do anything Zor-El returns to Forks. In the end, she & Rosalie move to Mystic Falls, VA to avoid CADMUS' wrath where they settle into their new life where they make friends with the Salvatore brothers & the vampires' human friends. A few months after that they return once again to Forks where they help fight against a newborn army. In the end, Zor-El gets gravely injured & the only way to save her's to go to another Earth where these enemies don't exist. Sadly Rosalie doesn't make the journey out alive so Zor-el asks God to reverse time where he ends up turning back the time to when Kara'd been born on Krypton. Also, Lena Proud, who'd been born from an affair between Lionel Luthor & Lutessa 'Tess' Mercer, whose stepmother Lillian gets rid of her by Lillian getting someone to assassinate the young girl. When said assassin sees he'll need to murder an 8-year-old he decided to make it look like he succeeded so he goes to the local morgue to steal a fresh body that looked like Lena.
So, with Lillian satisfied, he raises Lena as his own & her name gets changed to Lena Mercer-Proud. Meanwhile, when Kara Loud turned 13-years-old her home-world, Krypton, blew up because the planet's core became unstable so her parents put her in a pod to send her to Earth but she gets stuck in the Phantom Zone for the next 24 years. Later she lands on a beach & the Danvers, Jeremiah & Eliza, decide to make her their own & over the next few years her life turns out differently; she loses Jeremiah because she couldn't follow his rules & so she decides to no longer use her powers & when her Earth best-friend, Kenny, later becomes murdered she vows to never become close to another human that isn't her sister or Eliza. That's until she goes undercover to stop Lillian Luthor where she'll meet & fall madly in love with fellow undercover agent Lena Mercer Proud.
The D.E.O. calls Kara into a meeting to discuss a new undercover OP but she tells Alex she'll be a little late because she needs to finish her latest one so Alex gives Lena a tour of the facilities; the last stop on its Alex's lab but before they leave Alex notices something on a micro-slide so she invites the other to sit down until she finishes. An hour, or so later, Kara returns & when she sees the raven-haired woman she stops in her tracks to just stare at the other until Alex feels her sister's presence. After that Lena looks up from her phone & gets lost in the most beautiful dark ocean-blue eyes that she's ever seen. Alex also sees this staring like they're the only 2 in the room & so she excuses herself by stating that J'onn needs her for something or other. After that, the other women gravitate to each other but before they go any further Lena introduces herself; when Kara hears the way Lena says her own name Kara becomes hard & when Lena sees it she becomes horny. She then decides to up the ante so she gets close to the other by going up to shake her hand & after that Kara quickly pulls the other to her but before anything becomes of it Winn appears suddenly to tell them to go to the conference room immediately where the debrief gets underway where its revealed 2 agents're going undercover to stop CADMUS. After that Agent Dox pulls up a photo of their, human, target; when Lena sees that its Lillian she rushes from the room to go to the bathroom where she breaks down & once she returns she makes it seem as if she'd just rushed out because she became sick suddenly. After the debriefing's done, J'onn asks her to stay behind while everyone else goes about their day.
He asks her if she's up for the task & when she hears that he knows that's her step-mother she goes into both fight-or-flight mode; she runs away from him to which he follows her at a languid pace, he grabs her by an arm but then she swings the other & when a fellow agent sees this they go to help their Director but when Lena sees this she attacks said other agent but gets carried away & inadvertently triggers her other self when she drains them of their blood. Her bones suddenly snap out of place, she cries out in pain through razor-sharp teeth to make it stop & once the transformation's complete human Lena isn't standing there anymore but instead werewolf Lena is. She continued a rampage until other werewolf growls tell her to stop & calm down because no one's going to hurt her. After that, she locates the other growls & it's revealed to everyone that they came from none other than Agent Samantha 'Sam' Arias' daughter Ruby. Lena then crawls to the teenager. Once that's done Ruby skillfully changes into her Russet wolf form. Both of them stare at each other & a few minutes later Ruby leads her to a secluded area of the D.E.O. where she can transform back to human form without any embarrassment; perceived or otherwise. Once they return Lena finds out she killed the agent but before she can mourn what she'd done J'onn tells her to forgive herself because she murdered the mole from CADMUS & after that, he asks her if it's okay to reveal her identity to which she agrees. After that Project Infiltrate begins meanwhile Ruby imprints on the most unlikely of people; Agent Alexandra 'Alex' Danvers. Once, Ruby sees the other she starts shaking uncontrollably & Alex doesn't understand what's happening & so she asks Sam but Sam also doesn't understand either until she sees her daughter's hard-on, pitch-black midnight-colored eyes & bared fang-teeth; J'onn sees it also so he brings her & Alex into another room where he tells Ruby to sort things out with the help of her newly-acquired mate but when Alex finds out that the mate-bond includes a sexual component she says she can't be that for Ruby because of Ruby's under-age status, this causes Ruby to be so distraught that she runs away & isn't found until a week later by Detective Maggie Sawyer.
While Alex's working on trying to I.D. a new species of alien she feels an invisible pull so she goes to investigate it & while that happens she runs into her ex-fiancée. A few minutes later Dr. Hamilton comes through to tell Agent Arias she can see Ruby now but when Alex hears Ruby's name she rushes to see the other 1st but when she gets to the room she sees a Ruby that's 18-years-old. Meanwhile Loud & Proud would've been at CADMUS earlier but airplane problems cause them to be grounded for a little over a week & during that time they settle into the Gotham Granite Grandeur Hotel, Spa & Casino; they go over their plan as well as getting to know each other a little bit better. While they do that they use the spa & pool as well as enjoy Gotham's nightlife. During that time they meet Barbara 'Batgirl' Gordon, Jason 'Red Hood' Todd & Dick 'Nightwing' Grayson at the Iceberg Lounge. They meet Selina 'Cat Woman' Kyle Harleen 'Harley Quinn' Quinzel & Pamela 'Poison Ivy' Isley at Siren City. They also meet Bruce 'Batman' Wayne where Lena meets him as Bruce & Kara meets him as his alter ego; this happens when Lena goes to the Wayne Foundation's annual Gotham Children's Hospital Gala & Kara saves a teenager from the Neon Turkish Bath Gang. A few days after this, Lena gets a call stating that the airplane's ready so she & Kara get on their way to CADMUS then, on the last day before reaching CADMUS, apologizes to each other for what she's about to do which to put Kryptonite bracelets on the other.
After Alex sees Ruby she lets Sam see her too but a few minutes later 5th-dimensional imps Myxispitilick & Nyxlygsptlnz show up to cause mayhem because their bored so they change Alex & Ruby's pasts by making Alex not appalled by the prospect of being in a relationship with a 13-year-old meanwhile Lena puts on a show of dominance of Subject 66 because she realized that cameras've been placed onboard & that Lillian might be watching so Deviant Abomination commences; Lena slowly saunters over to the other, she takes both of their clothes off & then they've sex.
It's a sunny Friday afternoon when Alex & Ruby horse around when all of a sudden Ruby gets the urge to launch herself at the other where she starts grinding on the other but sooner she becomes mortified, gets off of Alex & rushes to her house where she stays in her room until Sam gets home from her date with Agent Vasquez. They go back to her place where they see Alex awaiting them to which Alex profusely apologizes but Sam says it's okay. After that, they enter the house where they then drink a bottle of red wine. After a glass or 2, Alex tells them what happened so Sam calls her daughter to come into the room then she & Vasquez excuse themselves while the other's talk where Alex & Ruby conclude that they'll wait for sex when its right for both of them meanwhile Project Infiltrate takes 5 years to complete & during that time Kara gets turned into Cyborg Supergirl but Lena still manages to fall in love with her. Also, Sam becomes Samantha Vasquez, Lena becomes pregnant with her & Kara's baby boy Kon-El, Eliza Danvers dies from pancreatic cancer, Cat Grant becomes the POTUS & Mon-El & Winn get sucked into a wormhole that brings them to the 31st Century, Alex becomes Head of Security for Wayne Enterprises & on the last day before CADMUS gets destroyed Lillian finds out about Lena & tries to kill her but Kon-El, who somehow went from being born to becoming a young man, burns Lillian alive.
The D.E.O. shows up to help out but in the process, Lena dies so a few days after returning to National City Kara decides she doesn't want to live a life without her other ½ so she forsakes Earth & returns to, newly discovered, Argo City while leaving her son behind because he reminds her too much of Lena & when Myx & Nyx see a world without the Maiden of Might they decide to bring Chaos to National City, Gotham City & Metropolis for the next few years until Kon-El comes into his superhero legacy with his own Superfriends & their battle with the Imps becomes known as the Exursi0on of the Imps. Once the battle ends they go out for celebratory drinks but a wormhole opens up & Kon-El gets sucked into it where he ends up in New Daxam & becomes General Zod's son but also on his previous Earth Lena never died but she'd been Lillian's hermaphroditic step-niece who gets invited to a party & then next morning after it she wakes up in bed with Cat Grant. After the other wakes up they vow to not speak of it & then go their separate ways. Also during this time, Sam Arias & Alex Mason (Danvers) become fast friends where, after going on a night on the town, return to Sam's for a nightcap.
When Alex goes to the bathroom after one of them she sees a naked Ruby coming out of the shower which makes both of them freeze; they stay like this until Sam enters to see what's happened which causes Ruby to reenter the shower & Alex rushes out to the living room where Sam says no harm, no foul. A few minutes later Alex & Ruby get properly introduced then Ruby decides to go to bed but a few hours later Alex gets woken up by her crying out in pain so she goes to see what's the problem which turns out to be Ruby having a penile blood-clot so Alex rushes to her car to get some medication for the youngster, once its administered Ruby goes back to sleep & Alex gets a page from work where they tell her they found confiscated Kryptonite so the next morning she goes to see Ms. Luthor to ask her about it. Once Lena hears what's been asked about she gives the Agent all her info on what they're trying to recover. After that's all done Alex goes to Sam's office where she receives a big hug but as soon as it ends Sam gets a call from Ruby's school stating she'd been in a fight & then Alex gets a call stating that she's wanted in Midvale. Once she gets there it's revealed that Eliza found a Kryptonian pod with a 5-year old boy, named Mon-Kon, in it so Alex takes him back with her where she pretends it's her recently discovered stepbrother named Montgomery Konell Danvers-Brightburn. He later gets enrolled in school & he's so smart that he gets placed in 1st-grade. A few months later he meets Lena, Ruby & Sam at an LCORP-sponsored event then a few months after that 2 more pods show up with the Daxamite known as Mon-El who later'll get drawn to Winn when he accidentally bumps into Winn at Best Buy & an alternate Earth Kara Zor-El who later'll get drawn to Cat Grant when she accidentally bumps into Cat at Ruby Arias & Carter Grant's school. After that, when they continue to bump into each other Mon-El & Kara realize that these humans're their soul-mates so they decide to woo them on a double date but there's a problem. They don't know what to do about it & that's when their mutual friend Zorin Drax, who owns Dragon's Bay Restaurant, comes in; he sets up the place for their date but another problem occurs' Neither Winn nor Cat can find babysitters for their kids but Mon-El & Kara take it all in stride by stating that they can tag along too. All 6 of them've a fun night but at the end of it a wormhole shows up to suck Kara & Carter to another Earth where she becomes his uncle Deran & he becomes 17-year-old Joshua "J" Cody; who after his mother dies of a drug overdose, goes to stay with his estranged grandmother Janine, otherwise known as "Smurf", in Oceanside, CA. He meets his uncles & their adopted brother, Baz. Later on, the Codys're surprised when their unstable eldest brother Pope returns unannounced from serving a 6-year sentence for a bank robbery. Later on, the brothers carry out a smash & grab robbery, accidentally injuring a security guard in the process & he later dies from his injuries. Smurf creates discord when she makes the boys destroy the valuable watches they stole & tie up some loose ends. Pope & Deran take J on a side job behind Smurf's back.
With the boys celebrating Pope's birthday, Smurf manipulates them hoping that someone'll confess to moonlighting. Later Deran stays away from home to deal with his demons. Later on, while the Codys plan their next job, Detective Yates puts more pressure on J's teacher Alexa to get more info about the family's illicit dealings. Craig faces the consequences of his actions with Ren & then the boys throw a party while Smurf takes a secret trip to get some closure on her past. Later on, the Codys plan their biggest heist yet: to rob a shipment of cash passing through Camp Pendleton. Meanwhile, though Catherine's refused to help Yates take down the family, she packs a bag for herself & Lena. Nicky tells J that she slept with Craig which pushes him over the edge. Pope, Baz, Craig & Deran enter the base ostensibly to play paintball, but sneak off. Following Baz's plan, they switch a portion of the stored cash with fake bills, & stash what they've stolen in waste barrels to be transported off base. Meanwhile, J's agreed to talk to an aggressive Yates but's hesitant to implicate the rest of the family. Catherine steals money from a suspicious Smurf, who sends Pope to confront her. Realizing she's in danger, Catherine tries to seduce him but he smothers her & then buries her body. While Pope & Smurf try to keep Baz from figuring out the truth about Catherine the money from their Camp Pendleton heist comes through. But they're bigger problems within the Cody gang; the boys blame Smurf for a risky job gone wrong & cut her out of future jobs. Meanwhile, Alex goes undercover once she finds out they can't find Kara & she stays like this for a few years where a lot of things happen to her as this young woman such as near the end of Meredith Grey's intern year, Thatcher & Molly mention that she's a student at Harvard Medical School.
After she graduates, she gets accepted by Massachusetts General Hospital to pursue her residency. Following her mother's sudden death of complications stemming from the hiccups, she decides to move back to Seattle to care for her father & takes up a surgical internship at Seattle Grace Hospital instead. Later on, the day of her mother's funeral, Lexie waits in the car when Thatcher, accompanied by Molly, goes to tell Meredith that she isn't welcome at the ceremony, thus missing the opportunity to meet her older ½ sister. Later that night, before her internship at Seattle Grace begins, Lexie meets Derek Shepherd at Joe's bar, mirroring Derek's initial meeting with Meredith. The pair flirts & Lexie forwardly offers to buy him a drink but he says that he's there with some friends & declines. Upon arriving at the hospital's intern locker room the next day, she meets George O'Malley during the end of his 1st year as an intern. After she introduces herself, he immediately realizes her identity as Meredith's ½ sister. Lexie quickly befriends him & promises not to tell anyone that he's repeating his internship after failing his intern exam. Later she's assigned supervising resident's Meredith's best friend Cristina Yang, who doesn't take the time to learn her interns' names & thus, designates Lexie as "Three". Although Cristina's initially rude & strict with her, Lexie eventually stands up for herself & manages to earn her mentor's respect, with Yang going so far as to acknowledge Lexie as her best student. Lexie's eager to get to know Meredith but receives a hostile response when she 1st introduces herself, & she later attempts to bond with her ½ sister're similarly rebuffed. Later on, she begins sleeping with resident Alex Karev, who discovers that Thatcher's descended into alcoholism following his wife's death & often unreasonably lashes out at Lexie.
When she's lectured by Meredith for not looking after Thatcher, she finally retaliates & decides to stop pursuing a relationship with the other. After ending the emotionless sex with Alex, she bonds with patient Nick Hanscom &'s present when his exposed artery blows, causing him to suffer massive blood loss. She manages to stop the bleeding but's distraught when he later dies anyway. Feeling sympathy, Cristina invites her to join her & Meredith in drinking & dancing. The following morning, Meredith goes out of her way to make Lexie breakfast, which Lexie politely eats despite being allergic to eggs, resulting in her having to be treated at the hospital. Lexie & George later agree to rent a place together but're only able to afford a dilapidated apartment that she attempts to improve by stealing decorations & furniture from the hospital. She begins to develop romantic feelings for him & secretly steals his personnel files from Chief Richard Webber's office, discovering that George'd only failed his intern exam by a point. She encourages him to try & convince the Chief that he deserves another chance, to which the Chief agrees. An ecstatic George then casually plants a kiss on her, completely unaware of her feelings for him. She continues to harbor romantic feelings for an oblivious George; their relationship's a reflection of his previous infatuation with an oblivious Meredith.
Lexie prioritizes helping him study over taking part in a rare surgery offered to her by plastics attending Mark Sloan but feels betrayed when George fails to even request that she become one of his interns after he passes his exam. Finally realizing that he doesn't feel the same way about her, she gives up on her feelings for him & the pair's friendship begins to fizzle out. She soon discovers that some of her fellow interns've secretly been practicing simple medical procedures on each other, & begins taking part in these unauthorized operations to prove that she's "hardcore". Seeking a more daring procedure, Sadie Harris suggests that they remove her appendix. Although Lexie agrees, she quickly finds herself out of her depth &'s forced to seek Meredith & Cristina's aid to save Sadie's life, after which all of the interns in the "cabal" are put on probation. Derek finds Lexie exhausted & distraught at the day's events & allows her to move into the attic at his & Meredith's house. Lexie then begins a flirtation with Mark &'s highly impressed after watching him successfully perform a cutting-edge surgery. Later that night, she shows up at his hotel room & undresses herself while repeating to him, "Teach me". The pair grows close very quickly & begins a romantic relationship, though they're forced to keep it a secret when Derek warns Mark away from her due to their large age gap & the latter being Meredith's younger sister.
When Derek's mother visits Seattle, Mark's initially fearful that she'll disapprove of his relationship with Lexie. After meeting Lexie, however, Mrs. Shepherd tells him that she's exactly the kind of youthful person he should be with. When Lexie & Mark're making out in an on-call room, she accidentally gives him a penile fracture &'s seeks the help of Callie Torres & Owen Hunt to treat him. Sadie then publicly takes the blame for Mark's injury to spare Lexie the burden of suffering further humiliation & guilt. Lexie later wins an intern competition organized by Izzie Stevens &'s congratulated by Mark. Wanting to date Mark in public, Lexie convinces him to come clean to Derek about their relationship, to which Mark agrees. But during his confession, he doesn't realize that Derek's just been devastated by the loss of a patient & they then get into a fistfight. Later Lexie's chosen by Mark to assist him with an extremely rare facial transplant surgery only to be judged & mocked by her peers; they believe that he's taking advantage of her & that she's using him. She then kisses Mark in front of the other interns. Later she's delighted when Meredith asks her to be a bridesmaid at her & Derek's wedding, though they ultimately give the ceremony to Alex & a cancer-stricken Izzie, which Lexie attends with Mark. Lexie later asks him to meet her newly-sober father, which Mark initially refuses as he states that fathers've never liked him. However, he realizes how much he wants to build a future with her so he ends up going for dinner with her & Thatcher. Soon after, Mark decides to purchase a house & invites her to move in with him only for her to decline, concerned about how fast their relationship's progressing.
She feels immense guilt following George's death, having abandoned their friendship after he failed to reciprocate her romantic feelings towards him. She's consoled by Mark &, after becoming a surgical resident, agrees to move into his new apartment with him. She & the other residents grow increasingly stressed in the wake of Chief Webber's announcement that there'll be an administrative merger with Mercy West Hospital, meaning that Seattle Grace'll have to lay off a large portion of its staff members. Mark encourages her to relax & just try her best during this period, advising her not to worry as she deserves her job. She soon finds that while she's safe from the layoffs, many of her friends have been cut from the program. To take everyone's minds off the merger, Owen takes her, Mark, Derek, Meredith, & Cristina to play baseball together. Thatcher's later admitted to the hospital with liver failure stemming from his former alcoholism. When she discovers that she's not a suitable transplant candidate, Meredith steps in & donates part of her liver to Thatcher to spare Lexie the grief of losing her father. Following the merger, Lexie develops a rivalry with Mercy West resident April Kepner who desperately attempts to undermine Lexie while they're both on Derek's service. Lexie retaliates by stealing April's notebook & using its personal contents to humiliate her, though Lexie later apologizes. When a patient dies from a medical negligence mistake committed by one of the many surgeons who treated her, Webber starts a witch hunt to trace back the culprit & identify the cause of death, & Lexie's among the doctors who're questioned; its ultimately discovered that April's. Derek later recruits Lexie for his unauthorized "rogue surgery" on hospital technician Isaac's "inoperable" tumor, with her acting as Derek's own caregiver during the long & exhausting procedure. She's supported by Mark &, to avoid having to leave the OR, resorts to using a diaper so that she can sufficiently hydrate herself before & during the surgery. Near the year's end, they receive a shock when a pregnant teenage girl named Sloan Riley shows up claiming to be his daughter & her parentage's soon confirmed. He quickly agrees to let Sloan & the baby move in permanently without consulting Lexie, resulting in her ending their relationship as she feels she's still too young to be a grandmother. An upset & drunk Lexie then engages in a one-night stand with Alex but feels guilty & confesses to Mark, who becomes furious with her despite also admitting that he'd a one-night stand with Addison Montgomery. Although she secretly suppresses her feelings for Mark, she & Alex assume a casual relationship that she flaunts to make Mark jealous. She later breaks down in front of Meredith when Alex tells her that Mark's started dating Teddy Altman. After Sloan gives her baby up for adoption & leaves Seattle, however, Mark approaches Lexie & confesses his love to her. A stunned Lexie hesitantly states that Alex's now her boyfriend.
She takes part in a surgery on Alison Clark & informs her husband Gary that it's a success, only for Alison to suffer a stroke & fall into a coma that Derek & Webber state she's unlikely to wake from. As Alison'd signed a DNR form, Lexie's forced to turn off the machines keeping her alive despite Gary's pleas for her to stop. After failing in an attempt to sue the hospital a grief-stricken Gary later returns to the hospital with a gun, seeking revenge on Derek, Webber & Lexie. Mark shields her during the shooting & the pair attempts to save a critically wounded Alex. Lexie heads out into the evacuated hospital to search for supplies & comes face-to-face with Clark. Before he can shoot her, however, a SWAT team member wounds him & she manages to escape. She & Mark proceed to save Alex's life, during which she realizes that Alex's still in love with his ex-wife Izzie, as he calls for her while delirious & on the verge of death. After having a conversation with Webber, Gary eventually commits suicide, having killed 11 people & wounded another 7 as well as causing Meredith to suffer a miscarriage. Later on, after openly acknowledging the shooting as a mass murder during a therapy session with trauma counselor Andrew Perkins & the other residents, Lexie experiences a psychotic breakdown stemming from PTSD & sleep deprivation while she's treating a patient. She's admitted to the hospital's psychiatric ward, where she's sedated for over 50 hours with Meredith remaining by her side.
Alex breaks off his relationship with Lexie because he can't handle having to care for a person going through PTSD & he enjoys sleeping with women that find having been shot to be attractive. Lexie, after recovering & being cleared for surgery, confronts Alex at Cristina & Owen's wedding & knocks him down a peg by telling him that the reason he's alive is because of her. She becomes irritated when others at the hospital view her as fragile & incompetent due to her breakdown & works hard to repair her image; she saves a woman from being paralyzed when no one else caught the issue. She continues to gain her confidence throughout the season & helps Miranda Bailey discover a cure for hospital fistula. Lexie's rivalry with April intensifies when the latter begins growing closer to Meredith, but Meredith later assures Lexie that she'll always be her sister. Meanwhile, Lexie & Mark continue to work together but never seem to get their timing right, with Lexie acting hostile towards him when he wishes to reconcile, & he being caught sleeping with a flavor-of-the-day when Lexie wants to rekindle their romance. When they both realize that they continue to harbor feelings for each other, however, they resume their relationship.
She nearly suffers another breakdown when the victims of a school shooting're sent to the hospital for treatment, which reminds her of her near-death experience during the shooting at the hospital. Mark comforts her & the doctors ultimately manage to save all the victims of the shooting, after which she tells him that she loves him. Their happiness once again comes to a halt when she discovers that during their break-up, he'd unintentionally impregnated Callie & she ends their relationship once more because she's not ready for children. Later on, Thatcher's admitted to the hospital with kidney stones & she's shocked to discover that he's dating a 20-year-old girl. Concerned about Lexie's well-being & eager to win her back, Mark recruits his protégé Jackson Avery to find out what's upsetting her. She reveals to him that she's frustrated with the people she cares about, specifically Mark & her father, making major life-changing decisions without considering her feelings. When she overhears Mark saying that he'll take care of his & Callie's child regardless of what sickness it's born with, she expresses regret for neglecting to even let him explain the situation before she walked away from him. However, Jackson manages to convince her that nobody simply's one soulmate & they subsequently begin dating. Mark's furious & distraught when he discovers that Jackson's entered a relationship with her & desperately attempts to win her back, but shortly after, Callie's involved in a severe car accident & Lexie consoles Mark. After he & Callie's baby's born, he tells Lexie that she's the only thing missing to make his life perfect. She explains that she'll always love him &'ll go back to him if he continues to pursue her, but she believes that they aren't suited because they've different desires. Mark then agrees to let her go, giving her & Jackson his blessing; although initially happy in her relationship with Jackson, she grows increasingly distraught & frustrated when she discovers that Mark's started dating an ophthalmologist named Julia. When she sees them flirting during a charity softball match, Lexie's jealousy gets the better of her & she throws a ball at Julia, injuring the latter's chest. Jackson senses that Lexie's still in love with Mark & ends their relationship.
She begins working under Derek's service & becomes increasingly proficient in neurosurgery, helping him with a set of high-risk surgeries for patients who'd otherwise run out of options. During surgery, he's called away on an emergency, leaving her & Meredith to carry out the procedure. Though he'd instructed them to merely reduce the patient's brain tumor, Meredith allows Lexie to remove it completely, despite not being authorized by either the patient or Derek to do so. They celebrate the successful surgery but Lexie's devastated when she discovers that the patient suffered severe brain damage, thus losing the ability to speak. Later on, Alex, Jackson & April move out of Meredith's house without inviting Lexie to join them & with Derek & Meredith settling down with baby Zola she begins to feel lonely &'s isolated. She's left babysitting Zola on Valentine's Day & contemplates confessing her true feelings to Mark. But after plucking up the courage to visit his apartment she finds him studying with Jackson & loses her nerve, instead claiming that she wanted to set up a playdate for the kids. When Mark confides in Derek that he & Julia've been discussing moving in together, Derek warns Lexie not to miss her chance again, resulting in her professing her love to a shell-shocked Mark, who merely thanks her for her candor. He later confesses to Derek that he feels the same way about her but's unsure of how to go about things. Days later, she's named as part of a team of surgeons that'll be sent to Boise to separate conjoined twins, along with Mark, Meredith, Derek, Cristina & Arizona Robbins but while flying to their destination, the doctors' plane crashes in the wilderness & Lexie's crushed under debris from the aircraft but manages to alert Mark & Cristina to help her. The pair try in vain to free her, who realizes that she's suffering from a hemothorax &'s unlikely to survive. While Cristina tries to find an oxygen tank & water to save her, Mark holds her hand & professes his love for her, telling her that they'll get married, have kids, & live the best life together as they're meant to be. Later she succumbs to her injuries & dies moments before Meredith arrives. A week or so Kara & Carter return & when Kara finds out about Alex, she goes to Earth 1 where she works on Team Flash, falls in love with Caitlin 'Killer Frost' Snow & they live happily ever after.
