Izuku and his friends were still wondering if they were dreaming. After all, none of them had ever heard of a power that could be passed from one person to another. But it was clear that whatever the energy in Toshinori's hand was, it had nothing to do with increasing muscle mass.
"Don't worry, I won't force this on you. It's your choice to do it or not. But if you accept, both a great honor and a heavy burden will be passed on to you." Toshinori said, noticing the contemplative looks on the Supernova's faces.
"Hold on, you're saying not even the government knows about this?" Bella asked.
"Only those I know I can trust do." Toshinori clarified. "A few Pro Heroes know as well and even some of the members of my agency. At least 1% of Japan's population knows about [One For All], I'd say."
"And you think Izuku's worthy of getting this power?" Ben asked. "Just from our actions earlier?"
Toshinori nodded. "Yes, you all jumped into action while the rest of us stood idly by. You acted like true heroes, a rare attribute in our current society."
"Well, what do you think, Izuku?" Ghidorah said. "Do you want to accept this?"
"It's all so much to take in..." Izuku muttered. "But...if this power can help me do even more...if it can help me save more people...I think we should accept!"
"No reluctance... Heh, you all remind me of myself when I was your age." Toshinori smiled. "But I'll have to warn you kids, this won't be easy. With an unprepared body, [One For All] could destroy its user."
"Good thing Izuku's been working hard. Heck, he's gotten so nimble, he can outpace even our fastest moves!" Bella giggled.
*The Next Day*
Toshinori had planned to meet the kids at Dagobah Municipal Beach but when he arrived, he saw mountains of garbage being lifted into the air.
"Hurry, guys! I can't hold it much longer!" Ben grunted in pain as purple gravitational energy was emitted from his hands.
"On it!" Ghidorah said as he clapped his hands and swung them down as a bolt of lightning struck the floating garbage mountains, reducing them to ash.
Ryu used [Crash] to reduce piles of junk into many little cubes.
Katarina used [Dragon's Fire] to reduce garbage into ash. Her Quirk [Skylanders] gave her the abilities of the eponymous Skylanders.
Aki had copied a Transmutation Quirk from Ben to acquire [Transmuter Gun] which he then used to convert the garbage into energy.
Kirby had eaten some metal causing her body to transform into it, thanks to her Quirk [Copy Ability]. She then smashed some of the larger piles of junk into pieces.
Finally, Maple used her Quirk [Magic Shield] to create a [Compression Shield] and flattened junk with it.
"Oh, Toshinori-San!" Izuku said with a smile as he was doing push-ups with Bella sitting on top of him, having also transformed into one of her alien forms, Four Arms, to make it more challenging for him.
"I see you kids are far ahead of me in regards to what I had planned for Young Midoriya's training to inherit [One For All]," Toshinori noted.
"Don't worry, our parents got us a permit from the government," Tony explained. "They get the beach spick and span, and we get extra training."
After the Furious Five finished their cleaning for the day, they all approached Toshinori who buffed up into his All-Might Form before explaining.
"Now, in order for someone to inherit [One For All], they need to ingest some of the previous user's DNA, that's how this works."
With those words, he yanked out a thick strand of his hair and presented it to Izuku.
"NOW EAT THIS!"
Everyone stared at the strand with dead looks on their faces, Izuku's brain trying to process everything.
"Wut?"
"Sorry, I thought a strand of hair would be the least gross way to do it."
"Why not just spit in Izuku's soda or something? It's unsanitary but it's better than hair!" Katarina gagged, covering her mouth.
"Don't look, Maple..." Ryu said, covering the innocent shield user's eyes.
Izuku sighed as he reluctantly accepted the hair strand and swallowed it down, struggling to force it through his throat before shuddering in disgust.
"So glad I don't have to do this more than once..."
However, he soon felt the effects, energy flowing through his body. He could feel his muscles hardening as steam started to come off him.
"I think it's working!" Ghidorah noted.
"Yes, and on that note, it seems to be agreeing with him!" All-Might added.
Izuku's body soon calmed down as he nearly fell over before being caught and steadied by Aki.
"You okay?"
"Yeah, it's so weird...I never thought there was this much power inside [One For All]."
"Well, considering it's been passed down through eight separate people before you, I'd say that there's a lot of juice in that Quirk," Ben noted, his [Artificer] Quirk allowing him to see the Quirk's energy, which took the appearance of a large torch lit with multi-colored flames.
"Considering how much power [One For All] has, you'll need to learn how to control it," Toshinori noted. "But I'm not the right person to be teaching you that. After all, I was something of a prodigy when using it for the first time. Fortunately, I have a friend who knows the secret and can help you all understand how to use it best. And thankfully I won't have to contact Gran Torino for this..."
He immediately called someone on his smartphone. After a half-hour of waiting, a woman showed up. She had brown eyes, straight blond hair in two loose ponytails, and a slender curvaceous frame. She was dressed in a white doctor's coat over a gray dress shirt, a pair of black leggings, and a pair of black sandals.
"So, Toshi, you finally got around to finding a successor, huh? Tell me, which one of these rugrats is it?"
"I take it you can see the Chakra inside Young Midoriya?" All-Might asked.
Tsunade looked at Izuku specifically and nodded her head. The freckled boy was staring at her with eyes wide in unbridled excitement. The rest of the Supernovas were pretty surprised themselves.
"NO WAY! IT'S TSUNADE SENJU THE COMBAT MEDIC HERO: SISTER SAGE!" Izuku cried.
"Her Quirk, [Bio-Repair], is on par with Recovery Girl's [Heal]!" Bella added.
"Glad to see I've got fans." Tsunade laughed. "Though healing people isn't all I'm about. I'm also pretty good at hurting bad guys!"
"Since you kids have been cleaning up the beach quite nicely, we'll be getting into more physical training!" Toshinori said. "The Entrance Exam for UA is in ten months, which should give us plenty of time to train you for what's to come!"
Dagobah Beach was right at the edge of local ocean currents, picking up anything that got washed out to sea. Plenty of illegal dumpers took advantage of this. During one point in their training, the Supernovas saw a Hero that didn't take kindly to that.
"Awesome, it's Captain Planet!" Aki exclaimed.
Captain Planet was an environmentalist-based Hero who fought against pollution in both the world and humanity. His Quirk, [Planeteer], allowed him to harness the elements of Fire, Water, Earth, Air, and Heart for a variety of feats.
Already, Captain Planet was flying toward a boat of illegal dumpers, taking them down like something out of an 80s children's cartoon show. It was campy to be sure, but at the same time, it was inspiring all the same.
After tying up the dumpers, mainly Villains hired by factories who were using less than scrupulous methods. Captain Planet flew off with them in tow, taking a moment to wave at the Supernovas, who waved back as he took off into the distance.
"There's a good lesson right there," Tsunade said. "Not all evil-doers are supervillains. They come in all shapes and sizes."
This was part of the lesson plan, coaching the Elites on possible questions that would be on the Written Exam while using the various bits of trash to train different muscle groups. Additionally, Tsunade would sometimes ambush them in order to teach them how to react to unexpected situations. Naturally, there were breaks for meals, sleep, and classes.
Ten months passed slowly, but surely, and before long Dagobah Beach was quickly becoming resort-worthy again. At one point Izuku had brought up the possibility of hidden bodies, prompting Toshinori to contact his friend on the force, Detective Naomasa Tsukauchi, just in case. However, it seemed corpses were one thing no one was desperate enough to dump on the beach, so the training passed without incident.
"Looks like the beach is becoming resort-worthy again, you guys!" Bella smiled as the gang headed to finish up the last bits of trash on the beach.
"My Grandpa told me so much about how this beach used to be so I'm happy to see it restored to its former glory," Ryu said.
"Yeah, my dad proposed to my mom on this beach when they were young..." Izuku said, a melancholic look on his face. "I miss him so much..."
"Hisashi was a pretty cool guy from what you've told us, kid. Shame we never got to meet him." Ghidorah said, patting Izuku on the back.
"So, the Entrance Exam is in another few weeks, we should get ready as soon as possible," Tony noted.
"Relax, Tony. We've got this in the ba-WAAGH!"
Ben's words were cut off when he walked straight into someone and fell on top of them. His friends all quickly came over to check up on him.
"Ben, are you okay?" Izuku asked.
"Y-Yeah, I'm fine..."
"Uh, dude..." Ghidorah pointed out as Ben realized the person he had fallen on top of was a girl.
"Wagh!" The Spectacled Boy hastily got up, the girl still laying on the ground. "I am SO sorry! I wasn't looking where I was going!"
"Sal-u-ta-tions!" The girl greeted with the biggest silliest smile on her face.
"Um... hello." Bella awkwardly waved.
"Are you... okay?" Ghidorah asked.
"I'm wonderful! Thank you for asking."
"Do you...wanna get up?" Tony asked.
"Yes!" The girl said, springing up to her feet. "My name is Penny! It's a pleasure to meet you!"
"Hi, Penny. I'm Izuku." Izuku smiled.
"I'm Benio but just call me Ben," Ben said. "Again, so sorry about bumping into you."
"Ghidorah."
"Bella here!"
"Katarina Claes."
"I'm Kaede, but just call me Maple!"
"I'm Aki."
"Kirby!"
"And I'm Ryu."
"Are you sure you didn't hit your head?" Tony asked before Bella elbowed him in the ribs for his rude comment. "Oh, I'm Tony."
"It's a pleasure to meet you!" Penny said.
Ghidorah blanched. "You already said that."
"So I did!"
"I like her," Ben whispered to Izuku before turning to Penny. "Well, what's an adorable girl like you doing around these parts?"
"I'm preparing for the UA Entrance Exams!" Penny explained.
"Wait, you're going to try and attend UA?" Bella asked.
Penny gave a salute. "I'm Combat Ready!"
"Forgive me, but you hardly look the part." Tony dryly said.
"Hey, looks can be deceiving!" Izuku pointed out.
"So, guess we'll see you then at the Entrance Exams, huh?" Maple said with a smile as Penny nodded.
With that, the Elites parted ways with the girl, who watched them leave before smiling happily and walking along her merry way.
Toshinori and Tsunade looked proudly at their ten pupils as they finally got rid of the last of the trash that had been littering Dagobah.
"I can actually feel the ocean breeze and there's fresh salt water hitting my nostrils instead of smog and rust," Tsunade noted.
"Everything is clean, Senseis!" Bella said with a salute.
"Nicely done, you all," Toshinori said. "We've already sent in your application papers for UA. The rest is up to you."
"Get out there and make this old man proud, kids," The number one Pro Hero said to his ten prized pupils.
"We will!" Ghidorah smiled.
"Tomorrow is gonna be so cool!" Ben said excitedly as Izuku smiled in agreement, already looking forward to when the UA Entrance Exam would begin.
