Kenra: I will update it soon, give me time.

Disclaimer: I do not own Devil May Cry or RWBY. I only own the OC Drake Redgrave.

After a long and tiring walk, the 9 teenagers soon made their way back to Beacon Academy, one of the most prodigious Huntsman Academies, right here in the Kingdom of Vale.

The group soon made it back up the cliffside as they began walking back to the school. Once they made it to the entrance, Drake was in complete shock about this academy.

He was shocked as the school itself looked like a castle with one large tower in the middle with glowing green lights. There were lots of columns and statues that surrounded the place as this place looked more like a castle and a fortress than an academy as several street lights led to the front entrance to the school.

And this was only the outside of the place. Drake was dying to see what the place looked like on the inside.

The son of Sparda quickly recomposed himself as he and the rest of the group walked down the main avenue to the school itself.

"Wow... So this is Beacon Academy?" asked Drake to anyone who could answer him, while walking towards the entrance of Beacon with Yang and Ruby at his sides.

"Yes it is. Isn't it just amazing?!" exclaimed Ruby in excitement.

"Wait until you see the cafeteria." said Yang as the rest of the group kept walking.

While the three were walking ahead of everyone, Blake and Weiss managed to fall into the back of the group as they began whispering to each other, away from the others.

"Who do you think he is?" asked Weiss to Blake.

"I don't know. The only thing I'm curious about is his powers. If it's a Semblance, it's unlike anything I've ever seen." Blake said. "And there's the fact he says he's from another dimension."

"Which is ridiculous. Other dimensions don't exist." Weiss scoffed. "He shows up out of nowhere in the middle of the schools main areas and these people are just willing accepting him, just because he shows off a few moves?"

"Well, when we take him to Ozpin, we'll figure something out from there. Just be patient." said Blake to Weiss as the group had finally made it into the building.

When Drake walked in, he was amazed again at how the place looked. It was a tall and long hallway with many pictures on the wall, with students walking by them as their footsteps echoed through the halls.

"Wow. This place is amazing. Even though it is a school." said Drake as he knew it looked awesome but understood that this was an academy. Meaning this was also a school. And boy, does he not like them.

"I appreciate that kind comment but I still think that as a school, it is still amazing. Though it is nice to be complemented by a student for the integrity of this facility. Though I don't think I've seen you on our registration... young man." Said an old sounding voice, to which the group turned and saw an old man, standing behind them.

There stood a middle-aged man with tousled silver hair and thin brown eyes. He had a light complexion and sharp facial features. Interestingly, he has black eyebrows, suggesting that he may have had black hair before in his early age. He wore shaded glass spectacles and a small, purple, cross on the cowl around his neck. His outfit mainly consists of an unzipped black suit over a buttoned vest and green shirt. He also wore black trouser shoes and long, dark-green pants, with a cane in his right hand, and a coffee cup in his left.

Drake frowned. "Who are you?" He asked.

"Oh, of course, where are my manners. My name is Professor Ozpin and I am the headmaster of this academy." said the man, now known as Ozpin, as he waved his left arm around, to emphasize the whole school. He then lowered his arm as he said "And in my academy, I don't think you were registered, Mr..."

Drake stared at him for a few seconds. "...Redgrave. Drake Redgrave." He shook the man's hand, narrowing his eyes as he had a feeling something was... off with this guy.

He smelled human... but not like normal humans.

Ozpin then let go as he said. "Ah yes, Mr. Redgrave. Well, welcome to Beacon academy, young man. But as I've mentioned, you weren't a part of initiation nor our registration for this academy. So how exactly did you end up in the Emerald forest?"

"Took a wrong turn." Drake shrugged, deciding to be a smartass for his amusement. "Appears I got stranded out there with this lot. Didn't know where I was though until one of them mentioned it to me and explained the tall, dark, red-eye, and creepy monsters."

Ozpin raised his eyebrow as he said "You didn't know about the Emerald Forest, The place full of Grimm?"

Drake shook his head. "No... because I'm not from this world."

Ozpin's eyes widened slightly at this before slightly narrowing. "And what do you mean by that, young man?"

"I mean, I am not from this dimension, this Universe, however you lot want to put it. I'm from a world, much like this one, called Earth where we sure as hell don't have Grimm, we don't have Aura, we don't have Semblances, we don't have Hunters and Huntresses, and we don't have schools to train kids to go and fight monsters." Drake said with his arms crossed. "Now do I look insane to you, because I know the snowflake and bow-girl there think I am."

"What?" Weiss and Blake shared a look. How did he know what they were talking about?

Drake gave them a smirk that said 'Yeah, I know exactly what you said about me.'

"Mr. Redgrave, it's best we speak in my office about this." Ozpin said before looking at the eight teenagers. "I'll have you eight wait near the elevators and I'll talk to you kids later, ok. I'll send Mr. Redgrave down and he'll send you up after I speak with him."

Drake went down the hall with Ozpin following him.

Ozpin's office.

After showing Drake the way to the elevator, he took Drake up to the office tower. As the elevator slowly went up, Drake's body was tensed though he didn't show it. He acted normal, but he was ready to defend himself the split second Ozpin tried something against him he didn't like.

Soon the elevator dinged and the doors opened up. Ozpin stepped through and began walking towards his desk. Drake slowly stepped into his office and was surprised by the size and design of the place.

The office was a rather large room with several gears and clockworks at work. The roof was a glass dome and the back wall was a single window which appeared to be a functioning clock face. In front of the window was a single large desk with a unique design based off the clockwork gears, where Ozpin sat in his chair that also shares the clockwork design.

"Nice office." Drake commented before he noticed someone else was in the office.

There was a middle-aged woman that had very light-blonde hair tied back in a bun with a curl hanging down the right side of her face. Her eyes were bright green and she wore thin ovular glasses. She had dangling teal earrings that matched the hanging pendant on her collar. She wore a white long-sleeved, pleated top that has a wide keyhole neckline and gauntlet cuffs that flare in pleats at the wrist. Her lower body was covered by a black high-waisted pencil skirt with bronze buttons and black-brown stockings. She also wore black shoes with bronze heels, and a cape that was purple on the inside and black on the outside. The cut of the cape was stylized to end in flames and arrows, with a row of diamond-shaped bronze beads on the back. Above the line of beads appeared an emblem of a tiara that is her personal symbol. Her name was Glynda Goodwitch.

She also had a bit of a scowl slash neutral expression on her face. Damn, she really had the sexy teacher look going for her with that look. Is it wrong to admit he wants to tap that ass more than he maybe wants to tap Yang's?

Damn his type being blondes or redheads. And damn his teenage hormones.

"Thank you. Ah, I see you've arrived, Glynda. Mr. Redgrave, I would like you to meet a good colleague of mine, Glynda Goodwitch." said Ozpin as he gestured his hand to Glynda.

"Sup." Drake nodded at her like a gangster. Glynda just stared at him with the same expression on her face.

'Geez, what crawled up her ass and died? She not get laid enough and is sexually frustrated?' Drake thought, mentally chuckling. If he said it aloud he'd piss her off, even though he had a fondness and found amusement in just pissing people off, including demons.

"Please, sir, Mr. Redgrave." Ozpin said as he sat in his chair at his desk, gesturing to the seat across from him. Drake walked over, took Rebellion off and leaned it against the side of the chair before sitting down. "An impressive sword that is Fine craftsmanship."

"It was my father's and he passed it down to me." Drake said. "Don't know where he got it made though."

Ozpin then leaned forward as he looked at Drake with a look of curiosity in his eyes.

"Now, I brought you here because I said because you weren't on our registration nor the initiation for this academy. Now, as I said, we would have you escorted from this school since you can't apply without the proper tools but I brought you here because I have a few questions for you, Mr. Redgrave." said Ozpin.

"Just call me Drake. "The son of Sparda said, leaning back in his chair, crossing his arms, casual. "The 'Mr' makes me sound old and I'm only 17."

"I see." Ozpin nodded. "Well, Drake, you must udnerstand I'd have some questions for you after what you said and to how you ended up in the Emerald Forest without anyone knowing."

"And like I told you, I'm from another world." Drake said with no blinking as he stared the Headmaster in the eye. "Took a wrong turn, fell through a portal and woke up in the forest, killed a couple of those wolf Grimm, Beowolfs I think Yang called them, and then I met Yang after she dropped out of the sky... which is weird but I've seen weirder."

"Hmm." Ozpin hummed as he thought over the young man's words before he then asked. "Who are you, Drake Redgrave? What did you do back in... your world? You're young, so you had to have been in school."

"Dropped out." Drake said.

"Oh? For what reason?" Ozpin asked.

Drake's eyes darkened. "Demons."

Ozpin blinked at that while Glynda's eyes widened a little before she frowned. "Demons? That's a little... far-fetched, as is this whole 'from another world' talk."

"Well it's the truth." Drake said, giving her a hard look. Ozpin watched him closely. Gone was the casual, slightly flirty, maybe a little cocky and arrogant, teenager and in his place was a boy that's seen horrors at a young age and gotten hardened experience with them.

Ozpin would know that look easily.

Drake looked at Ozpin and leaned forward, his eyes cold, dark, showing signs of a battle-hardened boy. "Demons have hunted me since I was a child. They took my mother from me and won't leave me alone, so I hunt them in kind and make sure they die. But they also have no issues putting innocent lives in danger to distract me and get the upper hand. I wasn't sitting in a school when a demon could pop up at random and attack. I would not have those innocent lives' blood on my hands... I dropped out of school to protect them and hunted demons whenever they pop up. I've been to hell and back, and to this day I still wonder if I'm sane or even human anymore... even though I was born half of that."

"Half?" Ozpin asked curiously. "What do you mean?"

Drake cursed himself. "it's nothing, forget it-"

SLAP!

"Answer the question!" Glynda demanded as she slammed her riding crop on Ozpin's desk. Drake barely flinched, but his eyes did sharpen before he saw the riding crop and couldn't help himself.

"You that kinky in the bedroom?"

Glynda growled and raised her riding crop to smack him for that only for a hand to clamp tightly on her wrist and she found this boy staring into her eyes with a darkened look in them.

"Try it... and you'll lose that arm." He growled.

"Enough." Ozpin said as he stood. "Calm down, both of you. Drake, please..."

Drake released Glynda who rubbed her wrist, stunned at the strength behind a simple grip. There may be even a mark or bruise forming. Drake sat back down with a huff, crossing his arms.

"Since you've already got me annoyed and in the mood, I'll tell you. I'm the son of a demon and a human." Drake said coldly. "I was born with demonic blood and power within me. The reason I'm hunted is because my dad rebelled against his own kind, so they decided hunting his kid will be revenge enough. But no, they couldn't get me, so they decided killing my mother was best. So I hunted and killed them in return. If you've got the idea of sending me to prison, to be locked up or dissected in a lab, then I suggest you forget it because I will fight back."

"That won't be necessary." Ozpin said, having been silent through Drake's story. "I can't help but wonder, what you are doing in the world of Remnant?"

Drake shrugged. "Like I said, took a wrong turn, fell into a portal. Doubt I can get back home."

"You're stranded here." Ozpin said with sympathy but Drake just shrugged. "Well, you need not worry about me announcing your... heritage to everyone, unless you give it the okay. You being a half-demon shall remain between the three of us."

"And what of the 8 downstairs who know I'm from another world?" Drake asked, raising an eyebrow. "I don't exactly want to be hounded in the streets because they blabbed and it spread like wildfire."

"I will deal with the students and tell them to keep this on the down low. Good thing I told them to wait by the elevator. Ms. Schnee and Ms. Belladonna seem the most suspicious of you." Ozpin noted.

"Meh." Drake shrugged, not really caring. They can have their own opinions all they want. He didn't care whether they trusted him, liked him, hated him, wanted him dead, they just better not piss him off.

Number one rule when interacting with Drake Redgrave: Don't piss him off.

"So we done here?" Drake asked. "I'd very much like to leave and find myself somewhere to stay, maybe a bar to have a drink after the day I've had."

Ozpin smiled at the young hero's question. Glynda, however, crossed her arms and looked at her boss's face and rolled her eyes. She knew what was coming next, but was powerless, no matter how much she objected.

"Well, I have a proposition for you, Drake Redgrave," Ozpin said, to which Drake raised his eyebrow at him. "I would like you to come to Beacon Academy. We can provide you with a place to stay, any living necessities you may need, information about our world, you can continue your... Hunting work but it will be on the Grimm. All that I require is that you must attend classes and follow campus guidelines."

Drake stared at him. "You're wanting me to be part of this school." He stated kore than asked.

"Not to worry, Drake, you won't have to worry about demons popping up or even the Grimm. They are attracted to negative emotions after all." Ozpin said.

'And humans are just filled with that.' Drake thought, containing an eye roll. He looked down as he considered it. He had nowhere else to go, no place to stay... yet Ozpin was offering him shelter when he didn't need to. He might as well take it since he doubted he'd like to be living in garbage-filled alleyways and whatnot.

"Alright, Oz, I'll take you up on that offer but I got several conditions." Drake said, making Ozpin raise an eyebrow but nod while Glynda looked displeased. "I want my room to look awesome, boyish even, a big bed, I want there to be alcoholic drinks so I can drink this day away, then I want a pot of coffee, twelve Jammie Dodgers, a Strawberry Sundae and a fez."

Okay, he couldn't help himself with those last few, but he damn well enjoyed the look on Glynda's face. and saw the amusement on Ozpin's.

Okay, I just wanted to end it there, sorry. But the chapters will get longer. Now, don't think Drake has multi-personality disorder, I'm making it that he's a kind of a mix of Dante and Vergil, he can be cocky, flirty, confident in one bit, then cold, dark in the next.

Plus his experience with demons has left a darker side of him, after all he was only a child when the demons attacked and killed his mother, and he's hated them ever since. I guess you can say he's... a bit like Batman in his first year or something.
