"Where's the bloody cafeteria in this place?!"
Seriously, how hard is it to find the cafeteria in a school? Seriously, finding the Great Hall in Hogwarts would be easier considering the door is right in front of you when you enter Hogwarts.
Eventually, Drake decided to ask for directions and managed to find the cafeteria. He walked in and was surprised by the size of it. It was a giant open spaced area, with several rows of tables that went across all of the room. Giant window panels stretched across the building as they showed the outside of the building. Banners of green hung from the ceiling along with some chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. At the end of it, he saw a few windows which he figured was the place to get food.
He then saw some other students were sitting in the building and didn't want to bother other people as he was still hungry.
He then walked over to the lunch people and had asked for food. When he asked them about his idea of food, the Double Pizza extreme, one of them looked through their scroll and asked if his name was Drake Redgrave.
He nodded and after that, they didn't ask for anything else and began working on his food. Drake wondered what exactly Ozpin must've done to make them not ask anything else. But he didn't care because now he could get his food.
After waiting a while, the chefs managed to make his food and Drake soon walked over to the tables and began eating his food.
"MMMM!" Went Drake after eating the first bite. "Sweet, glorious pizza, you look amazing to the eye... but you must be destroyed.
As he continued to eat, he heard a familiar female voice. "Sheesh. What in the heck is your diet like? With that much food, I'm surprised you still have a rockin' bod like that."
Drake looked to see those eight teenagers he met in the forest walking over to his table, most likely having come from speaking with Ozpin as the old man did mention he'd speak with them about Drake's origins and tell them not to go around blabbing about it.
"Sup guys, you finished with the old man?" Drake asked casually, leaning back and eating a slice of pizza.
Weiss sighed as she said. "It's not good manners to talk with your mouth full, you know."
"What are you, my mother?" Drake scoffed. "So, what'd the old man say to you?"
"Only that we aren't to go around spreading the fact you aren't from around here." Jaune said. "Ozpin said it might get the attention of the wrong kind and they'll come bothering you if they find out you are from another world."
"I still find that hard to believe." Weiss scoffed.
Drake gave her a look. "Take a look at me, ice queen, aside from my devilish good looks-" He gave Yang a wink, making her smirk. "-do I look anywhere normal to you like the rest of you? Plus, I wouldn't make that up just for laughs, nor what I told Ozpin. if he's told you what I told him, then why the hell would I make up a story about demons killing my mother?"
Weiss remained silent at that.
"I don't care whether you believe me or not, it's the truth. I'm not one to care for what other people think about him, you piss me off then it's not gonna end well for you." Drake warned, looking at them all before he stopped at Ruby. "Except you... I'll just threaten you with a plate of cookies."
Ruby gasped dramatically. "Not the cookies!"
"So you really hunt demons?" Blake asked, interested as she sat beside Drake on his left while Yang took the seat on his right. Ruby sat beside her sister, the others sat in seats across from them.
"Yep." Drake nodded, offering Yang a slice of pizza that she happily took.
"What's... what's it like?" Blake asked a little hesitantly, especially when she saw the dark look cross his face.
"Hellish." Was all he said before his expression softened. "It's not an easy thing, demons are stubborn and relentless SOBs."
"Could these demons come here?" Pyrrha asked, a little worriedly.
Drake shrugged. "I'm not sure. Far as I know, they could only go from their world to my world. I don't know if they can connect to this dimension and to this world. Besides, be thankful they can't. Demons are much worse than those Grimm suckers out there."
Before anyone could say anything else, the loudspeakers in the cafeteria turned on as they heard Ozpin's voice saying,
"All students report to the Amphitheater for initiation."
"Well you lot..." Drake finished another slice of pizza and stood. "Let's get this over with."
Beacon Amphitheater
Drake was standing next to Ruby and Yang as Ozpin was continuing the initiation ceremony.
"Russel Thrust. Cardin Winchester. Dove Bronzewing. Sky Lark. The four of you have retrieve the black bishop pieces. From this day forward you will work together as Team CRDL (Cardinal), led by... Cardin Winchester." said Ozpin to the four boys in the auditorium, as the audience applauded.
Soon Jaune, Pyrrha, Ren, and Nora made their way to the stage.
"Jaune Arc. Lie Ren. Pyrrha Nikos. Nora Valkyrie. The four of you retrieve the white rook pieces. From this day forward, you will work together as Team JNPR (Juniper) led by Jaune Arc." said Ozpin, shocking the male blonde.
"Huh me?" asked a shocked and confused Jaune Arc.
"Congratulations, young man." Congratulated Ozpin to Jaune, along with the newly first year students. The newly formed team celebrated with Nora jumping into Ren's arms and Pyrrha punching Jaune in the shoulder, knocking him downand making the audience in the room full of applause and laughter.
'Really? He's the leader? Figured the red head would've been leader but whatever.' thought Drake.
Soon he saw the rest of the group walking up on the stage.
"Blake Belladonna. Ruby Rose. Weiss Schnee. Yang Xiao Long. The four of you have retrieve the white knight pieces. From this day forward, you work together as Team RWBY (Ruby) led by... Ruby Rose" said Ozpin, surprising Ruby.
"I am so proud of you!" shouted Yang over the applause as she congratulated and hugged her younger half-sister.
Drake was happy for his new friend. He found it weird how a young kid like her became that team's leader. He just hoped her team can keep up with her antics. He also snickered at how the first letter of all 4 of their names spelled Ruby's name, just differently.
He walked over to Ruby and patted her in the back as he congratulated her and her team. They were about to leave, until Ozpin spoke out loud saying "Now before you all go, there's one more person that I'd like to introduce as well as talk about. Will you please come to the stage, Drake Redgrave."
Drake froze up when he heard the man call him out. He really didn't want to go up because he didn't know what to do when he got there. He also didn't know why he was being called up there. Was it good? Was it bad? He didn't know but Ruby and her team were also worried about what was going to happen.
Drake went out onto the stage. He stopped by Ozpin as he continued saying,
"Now, Mr. Redgrave. You sadly didn't make it back without any pieces at all. Now normally this would prevent you from coming to my school, but since you impressed me with your heroism and your selflessness for putting yourself in front of others before you, I have made a decision." said Ozpin as the crowd was silent. "You may choose any team from any of the group that I have mentioned today and you all will work as group of 5 instead of 4."
Hearing his options, Drake didn't know what to do. Joining a team did sound fun but he's always been a bit of a loner, working by himself. Perhaps... it was time for a change in that, and there's only one team he kinda trusted to have his back.
"I pick Team RWBY." Drake stated as he pointed to them, hearing some "whoos" from Yang and Ruby.
"Very well then. From hence forth, your team shall be called Team RRBWY, again led by Ruby Rose." said Ozpin rolling his R's when saying RRWBY. The second R must come from Drake's last name, which begins with an R.
Drake walked down the stage as he was greeted with hugs from Ruby and Yang.
"Yay. I'm so happy you decided to join our team, Drake!" said Ruby, jumping for joy.
"Yea, you definitely chose the right team here, stud." said Yang with a flirty look as she put her elbow on Drake's shoulders. "Hope we get to know each other better~"
"Oh, I'm sure we will, hot stuff." Drake grinned as he wrapped an arm around her waist, making Yang's smirk widen at him flirting back.
"Get off of him, Yang." said Weiss as she pushed Yang off of Drake. "Try and act a little civil, will you?"
"Can you try and not act like an Ice Queen." Yang snapped back at Weiss.
"Stop calling me that!" screamed Weiss.
"Can we go now?" said Drake as he didn't want to put up with more bickering.
Soon the group began to walk away as everyone else
'Well this looks like it's shaping up to be an interesting year.' Drake thought as he smiled, walking away from the audience and following the girls.
Beacon dorms
After the girls had gathered their things, they began to walk towards the dorms.
"I think it's this one." Yang said as they came up to a door at the end of the hallway. Just as they came up, they saw a note on the door.
"What's this?" said Ruby as she grabbed it. She then began reading as she then looked up from it and said "Drake, it's for you"
Drake was surprised by this as he accepted the note and began reading it.
"Dear Mr. Redgrave,
Our dorms rooms as well as our locker rooms are unisex, meaning that both men and women use them at the same time, but unfortunately, the rooms only have 4 beds so until we can manage to get another one into RWBY's dorms, you will be staying in the dorms rooms next to Team RWBY's dorm since you requested to join their group. It should only take a day or so to get one ready for you, so you'll be next to RWBY's. And don't worry about intruding on anyone in that room. It'll be empty. If you have any questions, then just ask me or any of the teachers.

"I see." said Drake as he then tucked the paper into his pocket.
"So until then, you'll be next door to us." said Weiss in affirmation.
"Yep, it seems that way." said Drake as he saw Yang then pulled something out of her jacket and then swiped in on the door and then the door opened.
She then grabbed the handle and stepped inside the building. As the girls walked in, Drake looked inside to see what it looked like. There was a window with red curtains slid apart from each other, showing the dark night outside, four individual beds with their own set of pillows and red blankets. A small, wooden rectangular bookshelf that was near the windows with curtains, and two brown doors on each side of the room. One door was a bathroom complete with sink, shower and toilet, and the other door was a closet for storing clothing. Also, there was a small circular velvet carpet on the floor.
"Woah." said Drake in amazement. "Hope this is what I get next door."
"Now hold on. I'm starting to see an issue here." said Weiss as she stopped in the middle of the room.
"And what is that?" said Ruby.
"There's 4 girls here and one guy. Are we really going to allow him to stay with us?" said Weiss in a slight worried tone.
Drake frowned at her. "What exactly are you trying to say, Weiss?"
"You had better not be one of those boys that has fantasies about things like this. Being in a room alone with 4 girls all to yourself!" Scolded Weiss as she pointed at him.
"Hey! Do I look like that kind of guy to you?!" Drake asked, gesturing to himself.
"Well, any girl with a brain would easily see a situation like this." said Weiss as she kept pointing at him.
"I didn't think about it until you said it. Are you saying that we don't have brains? 'Cause that's just mean." said Ruby, feeling depressed now.
"Well, no I'm not saying that but..." said Weiss trying to defend her words but she was stopped by Drake.
"Ok, listen. We just formed a team together today. We shouldn't be fighting already. Can't we just look past this and go to bed. Besides I'll be next door so quit you're whining." Drake said, rolling his eyes.
"Fine. I suppose you do have a point. We have classes tomorrow, so we do need our sleep." said Weiss as she sat down on a bed.
"You know. You don't have to sleep next door. You can sleep in my bed if you like." Yang offered the half-Devil with a teasing voice but her eyes half-lidded seductively.
"Nope. I'll stick to my own bed, thank you." Drake said.
"Don't you start doing stuff like that. Then we might end up with a problem like I explained." said Weiss, frowning at Yang.
'I want to throw her out the window for making me seem like a bad guy.' Thought Drake.
Drake sighed as he then said. "Alright. Good night girls." as he began heading out the door.
"Good night Drake. Sleep tight." said Ruby as she waved him bye.
"See you in the morning." said Yang as she hopped on the top bunk.
Drake then closed the door behind him and made his way to the next door over. Just as he grabbed the handle and turned it, opening the door. He then stepped inside and saw that it was the same as the girls' room, only he was the only one in it.
The room didn't have a light on, but it was lit from the moonlight outside. Drake sighed as he made his way over to one of the beds and sat down. He then began to get lost in thought about his current predicament as he looked down at the ground as he closed his eyes.
Here, he was in a world he had never seen before. There's no demons and these creatures of Grimm seem to be a common thing here. But why? What does it all mean? Why was he sent here?
Drake then opened his eyes as he sighed exasperatedly as he then looked out the window, still thinking about his situation...
...and was completely shocked. Just when he thought this world wasn't strange enough, he was more surprised by what he saw. There stood this world's moon, standing high and bright in the sky. Or he should say what was left of it as the moon was broken apart but he could make out a faint crescent moon in the broken pieces to the moon.
"...That's it, I'm going to sleep." Drake said, getting into bed and he was soon out like a light.
