Disclaimer: I do not own Devil May Cry or RWBY. I only own the OC Drake Redgrave.

It was morning time and the sunlight began to shine into Drake's room, shining on the Devil Hunter's face which caused him to groan as he woke up. He gave a glare in the direction of the sun but shook his head, pushing the bed covers off to reveal him in just his boxers. He yawned and stretched his arms until he felt several pops in his shoulders. He let out a sigh and ran a hand through his hair, thinking of taking a shower to freshen himself up for... class. He still hated that he was at a school but he didn't know where he was so he didn't have a choice in the matter. Going off on his own into an unknown world would just cause problems for him.

About twenty minutes later, after showering, getting dried and changed into his new school uniform, Drake left his room to go see the rest of his team. He stopped at the door, remembering that this was a room of four attractive girls and he couldn't just barge in. Not if he wanted to get his ass kicked back to Earth and be called a pervert for the rest of his life.

He walked up to the door and he knocked on the door and waited for a response.

Nothing.

He did it again.

Nothing.

But as he went for the third knock, the door opened slightly, revealing to be Yang, slightly giggling.

Before he could do anything, Yang grabbed his arm and yanked him inside, very cartoonishly.

Drake then looked around to see Blake sitting on a chair, fixing her hair, while he saw Ruby giggling while holding a whistle. Drake raised his eyebrow at her, then he looked over and saw that Weiss was still sound asleep. Now he understood and couldn't help but smirk in amusement. He stood next to Yang, crossing his arms as they prepared to watch the show.

Ruby then walked over to Weiss's bed and the blew the whistle as loud as she could, which woke Weiss up and made her fall out of bed.

"Good morning Team RRWBY!" said Ruby happily,

"What in the world is wrong with you?!" Weiss demanded as she got up but then heard loud laughing as she turned to see Drake and Yang laughing their heads off at Weiss's dilemma. Weiss just groaned in annoyance as brushed herself off.

"Now that you're awake we can begin our first order of business." said Ruby, cheerfully.

"A part of me is scared to ask for some reason but... what order of business?" Drake asked with a confused frown.

"Decorating." said Yang, holding supplies.

"And we still need to unpack." said Blake, holding a suitcase which had clothes fall out. "And clean."

"...I'm glad all I had with me is my clothes, sword and guns." Drake muttered,

"Alright. Blake, Yang, Weiss, Drake and their fearless leader, Ruby, have begun their first mission!" Shouted Ruby. Drake watched all the girls grab their stuff and begin decorating the room.

While they did that, Drake just pulled out his Scrol, went onto his schedule and began reading over it while he took a seat, putting his feet up on a table.

"Well 6th period is math so hopefully that will be fun. Then there's Remnant studies, 3 period, so that's going to be helpful" Drake muttered as he began to think more on his schedule.

After reading through his Scroll some more, he looked up to see the girls had finished decorating their room... and the result was a cluster of all the beds stacked up against each other along with various books and other materials.

"...That can't be safe in anyway." Drake said after a moment of silence.

"I agree. This isn't going to work." Weiss said, shaking her head.

"It does seem kind of cramped." Yang admitted, seeing it before her eyes. It was kinda hard NOT to see how cramped the beds were together like that.

"Maybe we should ditch some of our stuff." said Blake as she didn't like the mess either.

"Or we should ditch the beds." said Ruby then gasped. "And replace them with bunk beds."

Everyone agreed, expect for Weiss, and they began working on their rooms. Drake checked the time on his scroll and saw that it was a few minutes till the next class, so he decided he'd go on ahead and get to his first class.

Words he thought he would never hear again, and yet here he was. He grabbed his stuff and left for class as the girls did their magic.

Eventually, it comes to the last class of the day, which is taught by Professor Port, and everyone is in their seats, the order being Blake, Yang, Drake, Weiss and then Ruby who was seated next to one of the areas that were used as stairs.

"Monsters! De~~~~amons. Prowlers of the night! Yes, the creatures of Grimm have many names. But I merely refer to them, as prey! Ha-ha! Ha-ha." Port laughs at the end, silence being the only thing to meet his statement.

Drake really felt like going to sleep right now, hell he had his arms crossed on the table and placed his chin on them. Yang was feeling similar as she laid her head on his back.

"Ahem! And you shall too upon graduating from this prestigious academy." Port says, gaining everyone's attention once again. "Now as I was saying, Vale, as well as the other three kingdoms, are safe-havens in an otherwise treacherous world. Our planet is absolutely teaming with creatures that would love nothing more than to tear you to pieces. Huntsman! Huntresses..." said Port as he stopped to wink without opening his brown eyes at Yang who groaned uncomfortably.

'Somebody call the FBI.' Drake thought, holding back a snort.

"Individuals who have sworn to protect those who cannot protect themselves. From what you ask? Why, the very world!" Port exclaims, and silence it what meets his announcement once again… until some kid stands up.

"Ye~~~~~ah!" He exclaims, making everyone turn to look at him, making him sink down in his seat and be quiet.

"That is what you are trying to become. First a story, I tell the young handsome man... ME! When I was a boy..." said Port as he trailed off into his story.

"If he's meant to be handsome, I hate to see what counts as ugly." Drake whispered to Yang, getting a snicker from the buxom blonde.

Drake just toned out the rest of the story, only hearing something about smelling cabbages and the professor's own grandfather. The half-demon was starting to get bored of this class already. He hadn't been this bored in a long time.

However, a few seconds later Drake heard giggling, and turned to see Ruby holding up her notes… Which has a, kind of poorly drawn, picture of Port on it, with smell lines over him… As if he smelt of cabbages. In response, Drake gained a small smirk, while Yang giggles a bit. Especially when Ruby makes a fake fart noise. However, when this happens, Port clears his throat, making them pay attention to him once again.

"In the end, the Beowolf was no match for my sheer tenacity. And I returned to my village with the beast in captivity, and my head held high. Celebrated! As, a hero." He tells everyone, before taking an actual bow.

As he stands up straight, he starts talking again. "The moral of this story? A true Huntsman must be honorable. A true Huntsman must be dependable. A true Huntsman must be strategic, well-educated, and wise. So, who among you believes themselves to be the embodiment of these traits?" He asks, and almost immediately Weiss' hand shoots up into the air.

"I do sir!" She exclaims, and Drake holds out a hand to Yang, making her grumble as she hands him twenty lien, which makes Drake smirk as he stashes them in his red coat that he's wearing over his school clothes, just like Ruby has her cloak over hers. Knowing the Ice Queen as she is, Drake had made a bet with Yang that Weiss would do something like this the first chance she got. As Drake continues to smirk at the outcome, Port starts replies to her answer.

"Well then. Step forward! And face your opponent!" He exclaims, gesturing to a cage on the left side of the room, which is shaking as growls come out of it, and two red eyes glare at the class through the bars, and the black drape that the professor has attached to the inside of the cage.

'Where the fuck did that come from? And how the hell did I not notice it?' Drake thought, blinking in surprise.

In response, Weiss stands up, before leaving the room for a couple minutes, and then returning in her Huntress outfit. She stands at the front of the class, her rapier, which Drake now knew is named Myrtenaster, held out in front of her.

"Go Weiss!" Yang cheers as she throws her fist into the air with a smile on her face.

"Fight well." Blake comments as she waves a miniature, red flag that has the letters RRWBY written on it in white.

"Kick butt, Ice Queen." Drake added with a smirk, only getting a glare from the girl.

"Yeah! Represent Te~~~am RRWBY!" Ruby cheers with a large smile, throwing both her arms into the air.

"Ruby! I'm trying to focus!" Weiss exclaims, making Ruby stop cheering.

"Oh… Sorry." She apologizes.

"Alright. Let the match, begin!" Port exclaims as he slices the cage's lock off with his weapon, which is a blunderbuss with two axe blades attached at the end. When he does this, a Borbatusk charges out, making Weiss dodge it as she attempts to slice its side, only for Myrtenaster to do nothing as it bounces off the overgrown boar's bone plated exterior. "Ha-ha, ho. Wasn't expecting that were you?" Port asks Weiss, making her turn to slightly look at him over her shoulder.

"Hang in there Weiss!" Ruby cheers, just before the heiress uses a glyph to charge towards the Borbatusk, and attempt to stab it in the head, only for the Grimm to block her, and place her in a stalemate by catching her rapier between its tusks. When this happens, Port watches with interest.

"Hold your approach. I like it!" He exclaims.

"Come on Weiss! Show him who's boss!" Ruby encourages her partner, accidentally distracting the Schnee as Weiss turns to look at her, and in the process stops pushing against the Borbatusk, letting it fling her rapier off to the side, and then hit the heiress and send her skidding across the ground in the opposite direction.

"Ho-ho. Now what will you do without your weapon?" Port asks the heiress as she pushes herself up off the ground, and looks up just in time for her eyes to widen as the Grimm charges her. She manages to roll to the side just in time, leading to the Borbatusk charging into one of the desks, and bounce off the reinforced wood, rolling along the ground afterwards. When this happens, Ice Queen runs towards her weapon.

"I'll admit, that was one time that you shouldn't have cheered for Ice Queen." Drake whispered to Ruby, making her hang her head.

"Sorry." She says, making the Demon Hunter pat her head.

"It's alright, just know when to, and when to not, cheer people on just so that you won't distract them." He tells her with a small smile, and then turn around just in time to see the heiress slide and grab her rapier. At this time, Ruby takes his advice, since the Borbatusk is still attempting to push itself onto its feet.

"Weiss! Go for its belly! There's no armor underneath!" Ruby exclaims, only for Weiss to pusher herself off the ground and turn to glare at her.

"Stop telling me what to do!" She yells, making Drake glare at her in response as Ruby looks down with a frown on her face. However, the Borbatusk growls, and then spins in a circle before it launches itself towards the Schnee. In response, the heiress creates one of her glyphs in its path, causing the Grimm to slam into it, and then fall onto its back. When this happens, Weiss jumps up onto another glyph of hers, changing it to black which Drake can now assume is meant for gravity, before changing it once again and kicking off it to stab the Grimm in the belly causing it to squeal in pain before it dies… Just like Ruby suggested.

"Bravo. Bravo! It appears we are indeed in the presence of a true huntress in training." Port says as Weiss breaths deeply from what just happened, as the Borbatusk starts to turn into smoke and dissipate into thin air. "I'm afraid that's all we have time for today. Be sure to cover the assigned readings. And… Stay vigilant! Class dismissed."

As soon as that was announced, Weiss goes storming off with Ruby going after her.

"What's wrong with her?" Jaune asks from where he sat with the rest of Team JNPR.

"The Ice Queen's got one major stick up her ass, perfect example of a rich girl who probably got everything from mommy and daddy when asked." Drake remarked, getting snorts of amusement from Blake and Yang.

"And what about you, hot stuff?" Yang said as they left class. Drake looked at her with a raised eyebrow as Yang slides up against him, running a hand down his chest. "You grow up rich?"

"No." Drake snorted. "But I did live in a manor on the outskirts of my old town... before it was burned down."

"Oh... sorry." Yang said, halting her flirtatious advances as she suddenly got the feeling there was more to that and she didn't like the dark look that briefly crossed Drake's eyes when mentioning his old manor being burned.

Drake's expression softened and the dark look went away just as quick as it appeared. "Hey, don't worry about it. But... it was a good place to live in. So..." Drake put an arm over Yang and Blake's shoulders. "Why don't you two beautiful ladies tell me about yourselves?"

Blake raised an eyebrow. "That your way of flirting with us?"

"Not that I'm complaining." Yang grinned.

Drake chuckled. "Nah, just wanting to know two of my teammates better. After all, we're in a team, and a team operates better knowing each other and earning trust."

"Sounds good to me." Yang shrugged and Blake did the same as they walked on with yang telling Drake and Blake a little bit about herself, followed by Blake doing the same, and then Drake told them a bit about himself outside of the demon hunting...

Don't worry, this is still a OC/Yang pairing, Drake's just telling Blake and Yang about himself and learning a little bit about them.
