A/N Note : This is what happened in the morning after the night Hikaru dreamt about Sai. ( After he had a REAL match against Akira for the first time)
What a wonderful world
" Hikaru, won't you be late?" Shindou Mitsuko asked her fifteen years old son.
" Not if I run," Hikaru replied as he put on his favorite yellow sneakers, " I'll drop by at the Go salon on my way back," he informed his mom.
" What's about dinner?" Mitsuko asked.
" I think I'll be on time," the boy in the school uniform answered.
" Okay," the mother said as she waved her son a goodbye.
" Bye, See you," Hikaru shouted back and began to jog to school.
After running with top speed against the clock, finally Hikaru got tired, he took a rest when he reached the park near Haze Junior High school. Trying to catch his breath, he bent over and panted heavily. When he looked up from the ground he saw a beautiful butterfly dancing in front of him.
" Hi, Buddy," Whispering, he greeted it kindly, " What are you doing here?" he asked with a tender smile on his face as he gradually lifted up his finger.
To his surprise, the butterfly didn't fly away, it gracefully came to rest on his finger instead. " You're very friendly, you know that?" Hikaru chuckled softly. Then a happy hearty laugh woke him from his own world, he looked around to search for the owner of the laugh. It came from a small girl, a kinder garden girl who was laughing merrily with her mother, he smiled at the cheerful girl. Then he looked around again, his eyes widened by the breathtaking picture before him.
Colorful flowers in the park bloomed as if they wanted to compete their beauty, big tall green trees were swaying gently when the blissful wind carrying the fragrance scent of flowers brezzed. Baby birds were crying, calling their mother, asking for their food. The water in the fountain sparkled and created a small rainbow when the warm sunshine shined through it.
It was just an ordinary morning scene…but it was the scene that Hikaru had never wasted his precious time to take a look at it.
" Hey, Buddy, Can you do me a favor?" He asked his new companion, it moved its delicate violet wings a couple time in respond. "Good boy," Praising it, he beamed warmly. " Please find him," he told the butterfly, " …the one I love the most, he who is very dear to my heart…tell him that he'll always be in my heart…tell him not to worry anymore, I'll be fine… I can see it now." Then he slowly raised his hand up toward the blue sky, " Now go, fly high to heaven, Go." The small creature knew what it had to do very well, it let go of the slim finger and flew up to the sky as the blond's command.
" Don't worry, Sai, I'll be alright," Hikaru whispered as he gazed his little messenger flied toward the cloud, " I can see its beauty now," he spoke softly to himself as he looked at peaceful simple surroundings around him again, " I can see the beauty of the world now," he smiled mildly and continued walking to his school.
A/N : Actually Kari asked me to write about Sai rebirth as a dog, that's when I came up with the theme " Animal". So, here it is. What do you think? Like it? Or hate it :)
