Chapter One
"You will be mine," a shiver ran up Sango's spine at his words. She was both frightened and aroused by his sensual voice, "I'll never belong to anyone." She protested stepping away from him. Miroku's arm snaked out grabbing her around the waist as he tugged her body against his, whispering into her ear "The prophecy says otherwise ma belle." Sango shoved at his chest trying to push him away but to no avail. " What prophecy? what are you talking about? Let me go!" He kissed her fully on the lips then stepped away from her, a smirk on his face, "As you wish."
Sango shot up in her bed her eyes wide, it was only a dream. She brought her hand to her lips, she could still taste his lips on hers. And she could still see his indigo eyes and his lust-filled stare. She shook her head, scolding herself at her foolishness. That man wasn't real. He was just a figment of her imagination, some dream-man.
Sango rose up silently from her bed padding quietly across the floor into the bathroom connected to her room, splashing her face with water. "I have to stop thinking about him…I'm getting married in a fortnight…" She sighed staring at herself. " I have to be strong….I have to do this, for Kohaku…." She pulled her hair away from her face and scowled at her reflextion, "2 hours left of freedom…." She muttered to herself, " 2 hours till I'm sent away to my…..husband." her eyes narrowed at the thought of calling him. Naraku. husband.
"Oi! Monk! 'ave you gone daft? Why the hell are we turning 'round?" the impatient hanyou snapped. Miroku smiled staring ahead at the countless waves, " Because my friend, I know where she is now…and she's coming to me."
Inuyasha snorted rolling his eyes and walking off cursing under his breath.
Miroku smirked staring still at the horizon, " I'm coming for you, ma belle."
Sango was awakened later on that morning by her maid buslting into her room, "Miss please, you must get up. The boat leaves shortly." The maid continued setting her clothes on her bed for her, "up you get now miss. The boat won't wait for you, you know." Sango groaned siting up and throwing her legs over the edge of the bed, "I'm up, I'm up…no need to fret." The maid frowned at Sango but remained silent as she helped Sango into her clothes, tying the corset rather tight. Sango grit her teeth in pain, " Must it be so tight?" the maid sighed almost feeling sorry for the girl, "It must if you plan to fit into this dress Naraku so kindly had made for you it does." Sango ground her teeth glaring straight ahead of her, the corset would be the smallest discomfort she would feel once she married to Naraku. "Continue then….the boat'll be leaving soon and I wouldn't wish to keep my future husband waiting." The maid hid her smile behind her hand at the young mistress's tone. "As you wish M'dear."
