Chapter eleven:

Kaoru and Akio are sitting together with Kaoru keeping an eye on Mai with Akio leaning against his side head on Kaoru's shoulder.

The man didn't even come in to give them any food or anything to drink since he had beat Mai. He probably is still pretty angry about her rejection despite how long she has been under his torture.

"I think it's probably getting late. I can stay up with her for a bit if you want to get some rest." Kaoru suggests turning to look to the other male that is stuck there with them.

"We can both rest. Mai wouldn't want us to lose sleep over it. I did a few times and she was sad that she caused me to lose sleep. I don't want her to be sad after what has just happened." Akio admits slightly lowering his head as if worried that might be a bit much to ask.

Kaoru moves a hand to gently pat Akio's head. "Okay little brother." He agrees making the other smile to him. "Let's get some rest. Maybe when we wake up she will be awake."

Akio nods so the two of them shift to move to lay down.

Kaoru settles down closing his eyes. He slightly opens one eye as Akio lays his head on the ginger haired male's back. He slightly glances to the other who is curled into his side. He closes that eye and he does hope that sleep will indeed come to him. He also hopes that Akio will also be able to sleep. He knows that they don't deserve any guilt for what had happened, he just can't help it.

Mai choose to stay by them even though it meant possibly having her own life taken away from her. She had made that choice… Even though her choice does leave the two boys with feeling some responsibility for what has happened to her.

Kaoru takes a breath silently to try to help calm himself down, trying to not alert Akio to him doing that as he doesn't want to add any more worry to that poor boy. He pushes away the thoughts as they aren't going to be helpful in helping him to fall asleep. He finds himself laying there, not daring to move to possibly disturb Akio, for a little bit before he finally manages to fall asleep… Only to dream that when he wakes up Mai will have passed away while they had slept.

Meanwhile Hikaru is sitting with Kyouya since the other had let the older twin come to his place to be there when the information comes through.

"Here we go." Kyouya brings up despite that they had almost thought that they wouldn't get the information until tomorrow. "My contact came through for us." He adjusts his glasses as Hikaru moves to sit next to Kyouya to look at the other's laptop. "So. What we have looks to be a few results. Based on public information on the internet that was dug up. Let's scroll through these and see if you can confirm if it was the man who you saw." He glances to the other who gives a nod. He starts them off with the first result.

"No, that isn't him. This guy didn't have that kind of square face." Hikaru waits as Kyouya moves onto the next one. "Nope. Not this guy either. His hair is lighter than I remember seeing. Enough that it doesn't look like him."

They flip through about ten with each man having something off that makes them not the guy that had been seen.

Kyouya arrives to the eleventh out of fifteenth result that he was sent.

"Hold on." Hikaru leans a little closer to get a really good look at the guy. He blinks as just seeing the guys picture makes him see the exact same guy in his memory getting into that car. "That's him." He slightly leans back watching as Kyouya nods his head.

"Okay. My contact didn't really send much about him. So I'll have to notify them that you did identify him. It might not be possible for me to get something like his home address from my contact." Kyouya types away so Hikaru glances away trying to think if the man had been there before but he had missed it or something.

Hikaru can't really remember any other times that he had seen that man.

Kyouya hums softly. "Well they're going to look into the guy just to make sure that he didn't have anything to do with what happened."

"Any way that we can help in that?" Hikaru inquires turning his gaze to look to Kyouya. He frowns at getting a shake of the head.

"The police will probably deem this part too dangerous for us. Plus they'd be breaking a rule to send us information on the guy. More than they're allowed to send. Especially if it turns out that the man indeed had nothing to do with this. We don't have much of a choice but to wait it out. Besides if this man sees you then it could cause issues if he actually does have Kaoru. So it is for the best that right now we let the professionals deal with this one. We've been doing what we can to help however in the end they do also need to deal with things."

Hikaru takes a breath before nodding. He doesn't want to mess up their chances at possibly catching the guy that has taken Kaoru from them. So he will let the police take over looking into this lead to see if there is anything there or not.

"Go get some rest. It is getting late. We won't get updated tonight for sure. So there's no point in staying up any longer." Kyouya suggest. "You remember where I showed you the room you can use tonight is?"

"I do. Thank you for helping with tracking down a specific person. Hopefully this will lead somewhere so Kaoru can come back." Hikaru gets up from the couch as Kyouya watches him get up.

"Kaoru is a friend to all of us. A part of our little host club family. I see no reason not to put in the time and effort in order to help find him." Kyouya informs Hikaru in a reminder to which the other smiles to him before heading off to get some rest for tonight. He turns away once he is sure that the other is gone far enough. "I too hope that this does lead somewhere." He clicks onto the picture of the man that Hikaru identified. He can't help getting an uneasy feeling while looking at the man. He isn't sure that he can place it however something just feels wrong about him. He knows that you can't judge a book by it's cover though his mind reminds him that his instincts are hardly ever wrong… Then again Tamaki showed him that he can be wrong at times when they first became friends. He does appreciate the other for helping him with this. He does just hope that if his instincts are right then it will lead to them finding Kaoru. He wants his friend to be rescued from whatever kind of place he is trapped in.

It has been too long since Kaoru had been taken. He's had to deal with whatever place he is in for long enough; At least in Kyouya's mind.

There's no promises that this will even lead anywhere on the case of the kidnappings.
