"Are you almost ready?" Adrien asked, sitting in Marinette's chair and turned to face the wall. His leg was vibrating with excitement. He'd been waiting for this week for this ever since Marinette promised him she'd indulge him.
"Almost~"
"Are you taking longer than necessary to mess with me?"
"Maybe~" She teased. "Alright, let's do this! Mullo, get squeaky!" She declared, transforming behind him. "Adrien, you can turn around now!" Adrien excitedly spun around in the chair to see the superheroine multimouse in front of him. Ever since he learned Marinette had been the one to use the mouse miraculous against Kwamibuster, he'd been hoping to fight alongside her again. Turns out he had been for a while: Marinette was Ladbug after all. Still… the Multimouse costume was REALLY cute.
"Adorable!" Adrien cooed, taking out his phone. He rapidly took pictures, her striking a new pose in between each one. "Stunning. Perfect. Graceful. Beautiful. Iconic. One of a kind. Adorable."
"You said that one already." Marinette laughed.
"Sorry, Marinette, but that outfit just looks so good on you!" He took another picture.
"Well, why don't you take a closer look then?" She flirted, flinging her jump rope tail at Adrien and wrapping it around him, pulling him to his feet and towards her. He stopped, right in front of her, with her smiling up at him. "So? How is it?"
"...Gorgeous. Did I say that one yet?"
"You are, too, you know that?"
The two of them slowly moved closer, interlocking their fingers, and then leaned in for a long, passionate kiss. The two of them stood there, wishing for time to stand still…
"MARINETTE!" She heard her father call from just outside her room. She jumped back.
"Mullo, unsqueak!" She muttered, causing her to detransform. "What is it, dad?" She asked. Tom walked up into the room, holding a plate of cookies.
"I was just wondering if you two were hungry!" He said, beaming at the two of you.
"No, papa, we're fine." Marinette said, furrowing her brow.
"Actually," Adrien said, raising his hand. "I would really like those cookies, if you don't mind." He said, stifling a laugh.
"Oh, well, help yourself!" Tom said, placing the plate on a desk before walking out, giddy. Adrien then turned to Marinette.
"Heeeey… do you mind transforming again?" He asked.
"Wait… are you asking to…"
"Pleeeeaaaaaaase?"
Marinette sighed. "Alright, if you insist." She said with a soft smile. "Mullo, get squeaky!" She transformed again. "Multitude!" She began to shrink, copying herself into a bunch of tiny Multimouses. Adrien then took a cookie, breaking bits off to feed to all the tiny Multimouses. He giggled with joy as they munched away on the tiny crumbs, beet red from embarrassment. Marinette didn't want to admit how much she enjoyed this. The conflicted look on her face was so cute, Adrien couldn't help but take even more pictures.
—
"Oh man, multimouse is so cute…" Adrien sighed dreamily, doodling a picture of multimouse on his paper before class. Marinette giggled from behind him.
"Multimouse? Do you mean Polymouse?" Ivan asked as he walked down next to Adrien's seat. Mylene heard this and hid her face.
"No, not Polymouse. Multimous! See?" He said, showing Ivan a drawing of Marinette's mouse transformation. "She was the mouse holder from before Polymouse. Unfortunately, she only ever fought once. Still, her outfit is so cute, don't you think?"
"Hmmph, well, I think Polymouse is cuter." Ivan said with a huff.
"Oh, no way. I actually managed to find a picture of her, check it out!" He said, showing off one of the few pictures caught of Multimouse from when she fought Kwamibuster. Marinette sighed in relief he didn't show a picture from the day before.
"Yeah, well, have you even LOOKED at Polymouse?" Ivan asked, showing a picture on his phone. Mylene's face made contact with her desk.
"Hey, Ivan, your girlfriend is right there, you know that, right?" Marinette asked, embarrassed, gesturing to Mylene.
"Well, uh, I mean, say that to Adrien!" Ivan retorted, flustered. "Aren't you upset he's gushing about Multimouse?"
"Of course not!" Marinette said. "Because…" She stopped herself and then sighed. "I'm Multimouse. Or, uh, was."
"WHAT?" Everyone's attention turned to Marinette, who flinched.
"Uh… yeah, Ladybug enlisted me for a bit." Marinette lied.
"Wow, she knows how to choose them." Mylene said. "Marinette… I'm surprised she didn't keep you as the mouse holder." Her eyes were sad. Clearly, she felt like she was the inferior mouse between the two of them. Marinette's heart ached for her.
"Actually… I asked her not to give it to me again." Marinette said, beginning to play it up a bit for Mylene. "Fighting villains was way too scary. It's not something I was up to. I think the real Polymouse is someone pretty special. Being so small but still facing danger head on, it's inspiring." As Marinette spoke, a small smile grew on Mylene's face.
"Well, I still think Multimouse is fantastic." Adrien said, leaning over to give Marinette a kiss on the cheek, earning a groan from a few people in class. Ivan sat down next to Mylene.
"Uhhhh… sorry about that." Ivan said.
"Oh, don't worry, it's fine." Mylene said, blushing. "I don't mind that you like Polymouse…"
"Oh, poor, scared little Marinette~" Chloe taunted, walking over to Marinette. Sabrina followed after her, dragging along a projector. "Was being a superhero too scary for you? Not surprised, you've always been such a wuss. And what kind of miraculous animal is the mouse? The bee is way cooler."
"Chloe, no one wants to hear it." Adrien said, defensive of Marinette. "Ladybug stopped giving you the bee miraculous for a reason."
"Yeah, stop trying to be Queen Bee already, it's not gonna happen!" Nino added in.
"Oh contraire!" Chloe said, clapping her hand twice. Sabrina activated the projector, projecting a video from Chloe's phone onto the wall. It was a video of… Ladybug?
'Chloe Bourgeois, or, should I say Queen Bee, I'm glad I was able to reach you. I can't explain the details just yet, but right now you're the only person I can count on. Vesperia isn't going to cut it this time. Till then, make sure you're ready to jump into action whenever necessary. I'm counting on you.'
Ms Bustier's class couldn't believe what they were seeing. From what they could tell, it all seemed as real as could be. It looked and sounded exactly like Ladybug. Of course, there was one person in class who knew for SURE Ladybug never said that: Marinette would have remembered; someone was playing some kind of trick. She clenched her fist, holding back an outburst.
"Well, Chloe, that sure sounds exciting. I hope that works out well for you." Marinette said through grit teeth.
"Of COURSE it will!" Chloe bragged. "Unlike some people here, when I go about superheroing, I never chicken out. You'll all be wishing you treated me better when this is over."
Adrien looked back at Marinette and saw how angry she was. He was pretty damn sure Chloe's story was bullshit before, but now he was certain.
—
"I don't get it!" Marinette said, pacing back and forth in her room.
"You think she faked it?" Adrien asked, sitting in her chair.
"No way in hell. She doesn't have the brains. Someone probably tricked her."
"It's not as if Chrysalis has the fox miraculous." Adrien said. "So…"
"It's probably a sentimonster." Marinette concluded. "I just hope it's not sentient this time. I hate what happened the last time we had a sentibug…"
"Tell me about it. I'll never forget the way she cried out when Mayura…" He shook his head. "Well, whatever is going on, I'm sure you'll deal with it."
"Yeah…" She sighed. His confidence was assuring, but she still wasn't comfortable being in the dark about this… but then, she got an idea. "Wait a second, why should I be waiting to figure out what Chrysalis is plotting?" Marinette asked. "We should investigate!"
"Alright, but where will we investigate?" Adrien asked.
"Everywhere!"
"Everywhere?"
"Yep!" Marinette nodded, grabbing the miraculous of the mouse. She put it around her neck and struck a pose. "Mullo, Tikki, unify!" She said, prompting her transformation.
"Woohoo, Multimouse is back!" Adrien cheered.
"Nope, Multibug! But there's no time for a photoshoot now. Transform and put in your earpiece." She said. "I'll need you on the computer to check things for me. You can use my laptop."
"Alright. Plagg, Claws Out!" He said, transforming.
"Just don't go browsing my files." Multibug joked.
"I already know it's just a bunch of pictures of me." He said, clearly meaning it as a joke. But it wasn't as far off as Multibug would have liked. "Alright, Multitude!" She said, transforming into dozens upon dozens of tiny multibugs. They all scuttered out the window, ready to comb the entire city.
—
In an abandoned warehouse, the supervillain Chrysalis called a butterfly to her hand, filling it with purple energy. She released it into the air, but it didn't fly far from her. "Nooroo, Dark Wings Fall." She said before turning back into Lila. The akuma then flew into her, turning her into the supervillain Volpina. She took out her flute, playing a tune, before swinging her instrument. "Mirage!" She called out, creating a perfect visual replica of Ladybug. She then took out her phone and began to record the Illusion.
"Chloe, did I get a hold of you?" The fake Ladybug asked. "I hope so. Listen, things are getting rough over on my end. The time for you to join us is coming soon. So please stay on guard, you never know when things are going to start happening all at once. We won't be able to do this without you. Vesperia is… we can't trust her any more. I'm sorry, Queen Bee, I was wrong to have ever doubted you."
Volpina stopped recording, and then rejected the Akuma, turning back. "Alright, Chloe, time for a little present…"
—
"Zooooeeeeee!" Chloe kicked in the door to Zoe's room. Zoe put down the magazine she was reading and stood up, tensing up in anticipation of whatever Chloe was going to do.
"What is it now, Chloe?" She asked.
"Oh, I just wanted to show you something that Ladybug sent me today!" She clapped twice, prompting Sabrina to come in with the projector and play the message that Lila had just forged. Zoe watched on in horror as Chloe laughed. "I have no idea who that Vesperia girl is, but it looks like I also never will since she's never getting the Bee Miraculous again! Can you believe how much Ladybug must have missed me?" She asked.
"...No, I really can't." Zoe said, depressed, staring at her feet.
"Alright, well, back to whatever you were doing. I need to show this to daddy, and then to jean-pierre, and then to mom again!" She slammed the door on her way out.
—
Zoe was walking through the streets of Paris, staring down at the sneakers on her feet. She listened to the people walking the streets, going about their lives, and remembered how she once, as Sole Destroyer, tried to crush all of them beneath her feet. She forgot almost everything she did while she was transformed, but she remembers the emotions Hawkmoth exploited. To some extent, that is something she truly wanted back then. When she was given the bee miraculous, though, she felt she had moved past all of that. She became more confident now that she knew she was trusted. But now… she's even less trustworthy than Chloe?
She looked around at the citizens she'd been averting her eyes from till then: she wanted to be someone who could protect them. But what if she was only making things harder on them? Ladybug seemed to think so. She sighed, clutching the magical charm Ladybug gave them when they met, trying to remember what it felt like the day she learned she didn't have to follow in Chloe's footsteps.
She took a few deep breaths as she took in everything around her. The chatter of civilians, the smell wafting from the local diners, the upbeat melody of a street guitarist… well, it was upbeat. As she passed by, she heard the melody change. It turned into something melancholy, contemplative, a bit wistful… it was as if someone was playing the tune that was in her heart right at that moment. She turned to look at who was playing the music, and she saw Luka Couffaine sitting there on a bench, watching her. They made eye contact, and he stopped playing briefly to give her a friendly wave before continuing to play her melody.
Zoe, feeling welcome somewhere for the first time since she left school that day, decided to walk over and sit down next to him. She didn't know what to say, but he didn't seem to mind, so she did what she could to enjoy the music he was playing. She closed her eyes, really letting herself feel what she was feeling. It was… rough. It sucked. But Ladybug wasn't her whole life. If she wasn't the right choice for the job, then doing right by Parisians was what mattered. She still had her friends: Luka, Marinette, Rose, Ivan, and all the others. Zoe felt she could get over it.
As her mood improved, so too did the tone of Luka's music, getting into something a bit more joyous, but still soft. She sat there for what felt like forever, enjoying the air brush past her cheeks as she soaked in the music. Until…
Growl.
Luka stopped playing, and she opened her eyes. "...Heheh, I guess I should probably get something to eat, huh?" She asked.
"Well, that makes sense. You have been sitting here for about an hour and a half." Luka told her with a slight smile, finding humor in it but not mocking her for it.
"Wh - WHAT? Oh my god, I'm so sorry, I didn't realize the time slipping away! Your music was just so… so… comforting." She said, getting bashful near the end.
"Well, I'll take that as a compliment. You want to go get something?" He asked.
—
Zoe and Luka sat in the park, eating some pastries fresh from the Dupain-Cheng bakery. Tom really knew how to make them. Zoe smiled, picturing herself making some of them alongside Marinette, like she did the day they tried to help Rose. But this time, just the two of them…
"Thinking about someone?" Luka asked.
"Huh - WHAT? Um, no…"
"Alright, then." Luka knew she was lying but took her words at face value regardless. "Personally, these remind me of someone."
"Oh, yeah? Who?"
"Marinette." Luka said, causing Zoe to choke on a macaron and start coughing. Luka handed her a water bottle to help her, which she gladly accepted.
"M-Marinette?" She asked when her throat was cleared.
"Well, yeah, that was her bakery."
"Ah, th-that makes sense. So… is being reminded of her a good thing?" She asked.
"Good in some ways. She's a good friend, and I'm glad she's in my life. But… It's hard not to still have feelings for her, which makes it difficult." He explained.
"Ah… yeah, I get that." Zoe said.
"Is that what you were so sad about?"
"No, nothing like that. It was something else."
"Do you want to talk about it?"
"I mean, honestly… your music did better at explaining it than I ever could." She said, placing a hand over her heart, remembering how it felt to listen to his melody in her dark moment earlier.
"...That's cool and all, but it's not really the same as talking to someone." He said, chuckling, seeming to find what she said a bit odd. She blushed, averting eye contact. "But I won't press you. You seem to be doing better at least."
"Y-yeah, thanks to you…"
A tiny Multibug was running nearby them, not close enough to overhear them but close enough to see how friendly the conversation was. She smiled, glad to see she was taking things well in spite of all the fake videos going around about Vesperia not being a hero anymore. She made a mental note to talk to Zoe about that at some point.
—
A Multibug was running through the streets when she ran past Nathaniel on a bench. He was doodling something with a lovestruck look on his face. She was on the job, but since there were dozens of her out there, she let herself take a break to check out what he was drawing: she was assuming it was Marc. After all, who else would Nathaniel be lovestruck over? She snuck onto the back of the bench and… well, she was partially correct.
He was drawing images of Rooster Bold, intermittently sighing.
It took everything Multibug had to not have a melt down right then and there. Oh, she wanted to SCREAM at him what was going on. She wanted to burrow into his ear and shout the easy solution till he was permanently deaf on that side. But no, she couldn't, especially not with Marc. The rooster miraculous is one of the most dangerous ones out there. Any risk to its security… Multibug slapped her cheeks. She had other things to think about. She scampered off in a huff.
—
Rose was leaning over a street trash can, holding a picture of Purple Tigress. Her eye was twitching. She took a deep breath, working up the courage to throw it out, but… it was so CUTE. And COOL. She remembered all the moments Purple Tigress made her heart flutter as Pigella. But then she remembered Juleka and found the strength: she tore the picture into little pieces and threw them all into the trash. But when she turned around right after, she found Juleka staring at her.
"...Juleka!" She said, laughing nervously. "How ARE you?"
"...Oh you know. Good. Uh, what's with…" She pointed at the trash can.
"Oh, just throwing out a picture of that LAME Purple Tigress." Rose said, her eye twitching. "She just gets me so irrationally angry, haha, don't worry about it."
"...Oh okay."
"Hey!" Rose wrapped her arm around Juleka's. "Wanna go get something to eat?"
A Multibug watched on from the top of a bus stop, nearly pulling her buns off of her head. She couldn't get distracted.
—
Kagami was by the river, drawing the beautiful scenery in her sketchpad. But she stopped when she felt an annoying presence buzzing beside her. She turned to see Chloe, looking cocky, with Sabrina right next to her. "What is it?" Kagami asked.
"Oh, I just realized that I haven't shared the INCREDIBLE news with you!" Chloe declared. She snapped her fingers. Sabrina unfurled a projector screen and then began playing the ladybug videos on it with the projector. Kagami watched on, instantly certain it was fake.
"Dog, stop." She commanded before the first one was even over.
"...Do you mean me?" Sabrina asked, pointing at herself.
"You're Chloe's lapdog, are you not? Stop the video. I've seen enough." She commanded. Sabrina paused the video.
"Huh? What are you DOING? Sabrina? Put it back on!" Chloe demanded. Sabrina relented.
"Stop it." Kagami ordered. Sabrina stopped it.
"PLAY IT!" Chloe ordered. She started it up again.
"Stop it. The last time I'll ask." Kagami ordered. Sabrina stopped it.
"PLAY IT THIS INSTANT!" Chloe yelled. Sabrina played it again. Kagami sighed, standing up and drawing her kendo blade. She slashed the projector screen several times, cutting it into ribbons. Sabrina stopped the video. Kagami then sat back down and continued to sketch. "Ex-CUSE ME?" Chloe asked. "WHAT did you just DO?"
"I'm busy. Both of you, leave." Kagami demanded. Chloe fumed for a bit before leaving: but she saw Sabrina had already started leaving before her.
"And YOU!" Chloe yelled. "Stop doing what she says!" Kagami smiled as she heard Chloe's frantic complaining fade into the distance.
Multibug was watching the whole thing from a distance. She reminded herself to bake Kagami some macarons.
—
"Multibug, I've got something." Cat Noir said into her ear piece, surfing on her laptop. "By the Louvre, someone heard Ladybug's voice in the sewer.
"Got it!" A multibug said. "I'm on it!" She dived into the sewer system through a storm grate. She then started to sneak around… and did, in fact, hear the voice of Ladybug.
"...Thank you, Chloe. I'm sorry I ever - oh god, I need to keep moving. Sorry, I'll have to cut this short. Chloe, please be patient!"
Multibug rushed forward: if she got there soon enough, she'd see whatever Chrysalis's plan was.
"Nooroo, dark wings rise!"
Multibug rounded the corner right as Chrysalis transformed. The villain began to run through the sewers, faster than Multibug could keep up with. She called into her earpiece: "Cat Noir, I found her, she's in the sewer, heading north!"
"Roger!" Cat Noir jumped out of Marinette's window.
Multibug called the different copies of her into the sewer, which all began to converge on Chrysalis's location. However, she heard the sound of snapping fingers, and in an instance, Argos was beside her.
"WHAT?" Multibug asked in disbelief.
"What happened?" Cat Noir asked.
"It's Argos!" She said.
"Sorry, little lady." Argos said. "But we'll have to go, now." He said, snapping his fingers. And then, in an instance, the two of them were gone.
Marinette looked on in disbelief. She ended the effect of multitude, turning back into a single multibug. Soon, Cat Noir would catch up with her.
"Milady, what's wrong?"
"Argos was able to just snap in and out of existence." She said, confused. "I think… He must have created some sentimonster to let him do that." She concluded.
"Then he could show up anywhere, be careful." He said. "We should make ourselves scarce."
"...Yeah." She agreed.
—
Of course, Marinette's conclusion was incorrect. All of that, both Chrysalis and Argos, was nothing more than an illusion created by Volpina. Now safe in her lair, Volpina rejected her Akuma. She sent Chloe the video she just made, and then: "Nooroo, dark wings rise!" She transformed into Chrysalis. "Now, to find a villain for our darling Queen Bee to set her sights on." She said. "Hmmmmmmm… where's a good emotion…" She searched around Paris until she found a good candidate. "Aha! There's one." She said, sensing a particular feeling of despair and longing.
Chrysalis created an akuma in her hands and sent it out into the world. It flitted through the streets and then into the window of a young man, sitting at his computer and lightly crying. He had Vesperia posters on his wall, and was watching the fake video Chloe had been showing everyone. The akuma went into a Vesperia figure he was holding in one of his hands.
'Despairia, I am Chrysalis. It seems Ladybug has decided to say goodbye to your precious heroine in favor of that brat Chloe. Clearly she doesn't know what's best for Paris. I can give you the power to bring your beloved Vesperia back! However, in exchange, you'll need to do me a little favor. Get me Ladybug and Cat Noir's miraculous!"
—
"Mwahahahahahaha! Oh Chloooooeeeeee!" A voice rang out through the streets. A man with short blonde and black hair, wearing a black and yellow jumpsuit, was running through the middle of the road, pointing his right hand's fingers at everyone he saw. From his fingers came yellow, glowing stingers that would freeze the individual in place.
'Excellent work, Despairia. Soon, that faker Queen Bee will have to come out and stop you.'
"As you command, Chrysalis!" He laughed.
Despairia ran by the park that Zoe and Luka were staying in. Zoe saw him point a finger at them in the distance. Her eyes widened with fear. "GET DOWN!" She yelled, pushing Luka out of the way. Luka fell to the ground, safe from the attack, but Zoe was stung, freezing in place as if she were stung by Vesperia's venom. Luka got up and ran for an alleyway, having to dodge several more driveby shots from Despairia. He was eventually able to slip away into safety as the villain ran away. He grit his teeth, wondering what he could do. But then, Ladybug - or rather, Multibug - landed right next to him.
"Ladybug!"
"No time to talk. Right now, it's time for action!" She insisted.
—
As Despairia ran through Paris, he eventually found his mark: Chloe was fuming, walking through the streets alongside Sabrina. "Found you!" He declared, getting the girls' attention. He fired a shot at Chloe, but Sabrina jumped in front of her and took the shot.
"Hey, excuse you! Do you have ANY idea who I am?" Chloe asked.
"Oh, of course I do. You're Queen Bee. But you won't be for long!" He said, taking aim at her. However, Ladybug's Yoyo knocked into his arm and made him miss his shot. He looked up to the rooftop.
"Man, I've met some crazed fans, but you might BEE the worst one I've seen!" Cat Noir said. He, Multibug, Ryuko, Viperion, Pigella, Purple Tigress, and Caprikid all stood there, looking down at him. They jumped down to the street, in front of him.
"I don't know what your name is," Multibug said. "But this has to end. Tell me, why are you doing this?"
"Because you, Ladybug, decided to turn your back on the greatest heroine this city has ever seen!" Despairia declared. Multibug took a second to process this before groaning.
"That's right!" Chloe declared, stepping up to stand beside Ladybug. "She turned her back on the one and only Queen Bee! But now she's seen the error of her ways! Come on, Ladybug, I'm ready!" Chloe held out her hand to Ladybug. Ladybug sighed.
"Need me to…" Purple Tigress started.
"Please." Multibug agreed. Purple Tigress grabbed Chloe with her Bolas and pulled her over before setting her down on the ground nearby. Multibug then got her game face back on to talk to Despairia. "Vesperia isn't off of the team! That video you saw was a fabrication!"
"No it wasn't!" Chloe yelled from behind.
"Of course it was." Ryuko said, irritated.
'Don't believe their lies, Despairia!' Chrysalis said.
"If you're still giving the Bee miraculous to Vesperia, then where is she?" He accused, pointing at Ladybug.
"You froze her on your way over here!" She retorted, pointing at him.
"Of course you'd say that!" Despairia declared. "You just want me to lower my guard, but that won't happen! From now on, WE'LL be the ones protecting Paris, not you!"
"Wait, we?" Cat Noir asked.
"That's right! Hive Unite!" He yelled, holding up the Vesperia figure in his offhand. 6 motes lights came shooting out of it, each of which took a humanoid shape beside him. Soon, he was surrounded by 6 Vesperias: A red one, an orange one, a blue one, a purple one, a green one, and a white one.
"Looks like you're not the only one who can multiply, milady." Cat Noir jested.
"Seems that way. Looks like it's time for my LUCKY CHARM!" Multibug declared, summoning… A life size cutout of Vesperia. "Alright, everyone, fight!" Multibug declared. She began to walk forward, holding the cutout of Vesperia as a shield, hoping he'd be afraid to shoot at it.
"VENOM!" All the Vesperia clones yelled in unison. Multibug's 6 allies each took on one of the 6 Vesperia clones, clashing with them.
Pigella, Caprikid, Ryuko, and Viperion blocked their enemies' stingers repeatedly, before kicking them all into the same general area. Ryuko activated the power of the wind to create a circular gust that corralled them all closer together.
"GENESIS!" Caprikid yelled, creating a cage around the 4 of them.
"CLOUT!"
"CATACLYSM!"
The remaining 2 Vesperia's were destroyed by Purple Tigress and Cat Noir hitting them full force. They both crumbled into dust.
"I…I…" Despairia aimed at Vesperia cutout, working up the strength to fire. "Know that's a fake!" He said, firing at its head. The stinger went right through the cutout… and hit nothing. There was no one behind it, from what he could see, but it was still moving forward. "WHAT?" He asked, backing up. He fired again, this time at the torso, once again hitting nothing. Then… 5 different multibugs came from beneath the legs and jumped at him.
"GOTCHA!" They all yelled. He fired at 2 of them, freezing them, but one of them managed to pull the Vesperia figure out of his hand, breaking it. She then reformed into one.
"Time to de-evilize! Gotcha! Bye bye little butterfly! Miraculous Ladybug!" She caught the akuma and brought everything back to normal. Everyone unfroze, and all was well. She handed the fanboy a magical charm. "Here, this will remind you to keep your thoughts positive, even when Vesperia isn't around." She said.
"Thanks, Ladybug, I don't know what came over me. I - "
"LADYBUG, BEHIND US!" Ryuko yelled. Ladybug turned around to see Chrysalis on top of a building, right above a furious Chloe. An Akuma was already flying down towards Chloe. Ladybug threw her yoyo, but it was too late.
