AN: Hey y'all! I'm sorry for such a random weird updating schedule, but I keep on getting stuck on what to write, so I keep getting halfway done with a chapter, then not knowing what to put next, so I keep on erasing it, and redoing it. But this is just a filler chapter, because I want to have more chapters. Sorry it's short, but thanks for bering with me :)

I woke up, and for one glorious second, I didn't know what happened yesterday. We had to tell Grady, Edaline, and my dad that Sophie got lost in dad's mind. Of course, nobody blames him for Sophie's "situation" as they like to put it.

I get up and put on my uniform. I decided to skip breakfast, because I haven't been too hungry for the past couple days. I look at the clock that's by the Leap Master, and it says that it's 6:27, and that's a suitable time to get to school, because it starts at 7:00, and I can just study in my first class before school starts.

When I get into the room where the Leap Master is, I see that Biana had the same idea as I had, and was about to head to school. On the left of the Leap Master, my parents are standing there, with their arms wrapped around each other, because it's also dad's first day back at work. "I love you," he whispered, and kissed mom on the head. She gives him a small smile, and gives him a peck on the lips, before letting go of him.

Biana and I smile at each other, and we give dad a hug, before he goes in the center of the crystals, and glitters away.

Mom clears her throat and says, "Well, since you two are already ready for school, do you want to go now?" I look at Biana, because I don't want to speak for her, but she gives me a small nod, and I look at mom and just slowly nod.

"Ok, well, I know that today is going to be hard for you, considering it's your first day back since your father is awake, and your first day back since Sophie's little incident, but I want you to both know that you don't have to go to school today. I'm sure that the school would want you two to spend some 'time with your father.'" She puts quotations up, because all of us know that that isn't why we would be missing school.

I shake my head. "Sophie wouldn't want us to miss school on her account. She would want us to put on a brave face, and to just deal with it. I don't care if Biana goes to school or not, but I for one, am going to face the music, and go to school."

Mom gives me a small smile, and I see that she has little tears crowding the corner of her eyes. I looked at Biana, silently asking if she was going to go to school as well. She seemed to get the message.

"I'm also going to school. Like Fitz said, she wouldn't want us to miss out on time with our friends, or time at school, so I'm going to school with Fitz, no matter how hard it is, or how many questions I'm going to be asked," she said confidently.

Mom looks us both in the eye, a look of pride on her face. "If that's your decision, then I fully support it. But if you need to go home if it gets too hard for you, then don't hesitate to go to the office, and say that you're going through a tough time. You don't have to elaborate, but if they give you any problems, then tell me, and you're father and I will handle it."

Biana and I both nod, and mom pulls us into a big hug. "Well. You best be on your way. Have a great day, and good luck." She kisses us both on the cheek, and gently pushes us towards the Leap Master.

I go in the middle of the crystals and yell, "Foxfire!" I give one last look at my mom and sister before I glitter away.
