Discalimer: I don't own anything.
The woman knew this would happen eventually, truthfully she had tried to put this into action once when she was sixteen but had lost hope until she had reappeared in her life again. That was when she knew the fantasy that had once inhabited all the recesses of her brain could be put to life. Feelings which had since been locked away had been reawakened and reaffirmed. She did all she could to make sure she would be hers. Doing everything she could to convince her that she was the object of her love, her affections, and that if she trusted her with her heart it would not be shattered this time. Careful planning and genuine words got her love back in her life. She knew it would be different this time, it would be forever, no longer would she worry about making others happy before herself or put up a wall to block feelings, no this time would not end the way the first time had ended. Simply because it would never end. The fact that her love for her had never faded made her like to think that maybe it could be a continuation of the first time they had been together, but that was just a silly idea she would never voice. Once she finally had her back in her life and knew it was for good, she moved onto him.
He was not as easy to get into her bed as she thought, but she knew her lover sometimes thought of him with a fond smile on her face when she though she wasn't looking. No, this was definitely something that would take time, as with all things so fulfilling. But she also knew that this was something she had been dreaming of for almost a decade, and that it had to be done, he was no longer attached to anyone, and no one had control of his heart. She grinned at the thought of sharing his affections with her lover and found nothing else more appealing. Like all things she wanted, he would comply.
As she lay in bed watching them sleep. He with his soft black curls breathing into her shoulder and she snuggled against her side her silky blonde hair surrounding her like a halo, she found the solace she hadn't realized she had been looking for. Marissa Cooper was finally content with her life and knew it was ok to be herself. Everything was together, where it was meant to be.
