Lucario was reading a book to himself and was glad that Mew was able to sleep in her pink bubble. She was snoring so loudly that it honestly hurt Lucario's ears a bit, but he felt better for her because she was able to get some sleep and was not hacking incessantly. He began to wonder if Victini and Jirachi were still at the store buying some Nyquil to at least let Mew have a medicated peaceful as they didn't want her to feel the overwhelming hostility of her flu anymore. Mew was sweating in her sleep, and Lucario presumed it was from the fever, so he went to Mew's pink bathroom to get a cold compress ready should she wake up. He washed his hands, having to be careful so the spike on his hand wouldn't scratch the cabinets and sink.

When Lucario was back, he heard the snoring had stopped and saw Mew was sitting up.

"H-hi.." Lucario said a bit sheepishly as he was not expecting her to wake up so quickly. He had honestly left the room for about twenty seconds. Was he really that loud? Apparently so.

"H-hi, Lucario..." Mew wheezed as she looked at her good friend.

"Are you feeling any better?" asked Lucario.

"N-not really; I feel so hot, but cold at the same time," Mew whispered as she wiped off her brow.

"You've got a fever that you're trying to break; it means your immune system is fighting off the virus," Lucario explained.

"When will this end?" Mew cried, a tear running down her cheek.

"I...I can't say for sure," Lucario admitted. "I hope soon so we can go out and play and go to the beach. You've told us just how much you've been wanting to go to the beach and build sand castles."

"Yeah, I wanna build a sand castle of the Eiffel Tower," Mew told Lucario.

"What's the Eiffel Tower?" asked Lucario as he was perplexed by what Mew said.

"It's a structure in Paris, France, built in 1889," Mew added.

"Where is France?"

"In Europe."

"Mew, I think the fever is making you say odd things; there is no place called Europe in this world," Lucario said.

"Oh, yeah, I forgot, that exists in the universe that the writer lives in," Mew stated.

"Well, I'd like to see what you specifically want to make in the sand, but you gotta get better first," Lucario added. "I'm glad to see you've calmed down a bit. You were so loud earlier when you were shouting."

"I can show you what loud is. LA LA LA-" Mew began to sing off key before she started hacking again.

"Mew, that wasn't necessary; you need to wait to get some medicine in your mody so your throat doesn't hurt so much," Lucario sighed as he was completely unaware the other was about to start singing off key.

Soon, there was a knock at the door.

"We got the Nyquil!" Jirachi stated triumphantly as he showed the bottle of purple medicine. "Now, you gotta take this, Mew, so you can start to feel better."

"It looks yummy!" Mew chirped. The others were glad that Mew's ignorance was so sky high so she can take it.

"Oh, boy," Victini said as she rolled her eyes as she was not facing Mew. "Anyways, you need to take this so you can sleep more peacefully."

She poured some into the lid and Mew caused it to teleport into her pink bubble so the others wouldn't get sick.

"EWWWWWW!" screamed Mew at 114 decibels. "It's so nasty!"

"MEW!" everyone else shouted collectively at 118 decibels, making it hurt their ears since it was so loud.

"I CAN'T HELP MYSELF! I just gotta scream!" Mew explained. Mew farted at 107 decibels and then fell back asleep.

"She should never have eaten beans before we came over," Lucario sighed as it now started to stink really badly in the room.

"Well, at least we can rejoice in the fact she's sleeping again," Jirachi added as a silver lining. "Let's go watch TV."
