Note: I don't own Hellsing. I can barely draw. This is my first fanfiction, so be kind.
Sir Integra watched the flames die down. She lit her cigar, the smell of tobacco mixing in with the smell of burnt paper. She returned her gaze to the small blaze, burning brightly in the middle of her ash tray. The fire gave on last feeble attempt to rekindle itself before leaving the pile of ash that had only a few seconds ago been a letter.
She took a deep breath and tried to analyse the situation. The letter had been a source of insult. The knight had sent her an invitation- no, an order- to attend finishing school. The school was prestigious, with lots of hype, built up by one of the knights, whom had a daughter enrolled there. Though it was still an insult.
It was an insult to her way of running the organization, it ridiculed the way she was supposed to behave and it was even a personal insult about the way she dressed. It was as if she was an outcast and needed to be done away with.
"Sir Integra?" an almost child like voice called from the door. Integra looks up from the letter and watched the fledging vampire looking at her nervously. Integra gave a nod. "I've heard that you're going to Finishing school".
"You heard correctly," Integra said emotionlessly, "I'll be away for 4 months. In that time you will be taking orders from Walter during that period of time. Though, since the freak attacks have grown less frequent, I'm sure that you may need to focus more on training the troops. Is that all you needed to know?"
"Umm, well," Seras paused, choosing her words carefully, "Walter said that you didn't like the idea of going to the school and he thought that I should go with you. I mean, maybe like a guard".
"Interesting idea," Integra said, looking over the fledging. The knights did ponder the matter of security and Seras could pass for an ordinary girl easily. She just needed to cover up her eyes with blue contacts. Daylight wouldn't be a problem as it was winter and the dull sky made sure everyone got enough sun to be completely pale "Get Walter to buy you some contacts".
"Is that a yes?" Seras asked, a grin spreading over her face. Integra nodded, "Thanks Sir, I promise I won't let you down!" Seras said, her voice getting slightly more high pitched out of happiness. She smiled and raced down the hallway.
"This is going to be interesting," Integra said in a dull tone. She sighed, the police girl was a tad too optimistic by her standard.
Note: What did you expect, I'm fifteen and I'm a terrible writer. Oh well. Please review.
