AN: This is a poem in Kohaku's POV. I really hope you enjoy it! Please don't forget to read and review:-D

Disclaimer: Don't listen to anyone else! I am the real creator of Inuyasha! Muahaha. Fear me!

Inuyasha: No she's not. If she was, I'd quit faster than Kagome could say "Sit."

Oh shush. Don't make me bring Kagome out here.

Inuyasha: heh heh, don't mind me sweatdrop

That's better, but I really don't own it. (In case you haven't already figured that out…)

A Light in the Dark

By

Moonlit Showers

Blankness ensues

I cannot fight,

I'm under control

I can't find the light,

Forced to kill

By my master's command,

I can never escape

I have no plan,

Day and night

Night and day,

I keep on following

I'm forced to obey,

My memories are gone

There's nothing in my head,

And if I disobey

I'm sure to be dead,

I know nothing else

This is my life,

Yet one thing confuses me

And cuts like a knife,

A face that haunts

My every dream,

A face that shows

Sympathy for me,

It's familiar somehow

But I don't know where,

And yet the face

Always stays there,

And something inside me

Continues to whisper,

That I should call it

My own dear sister,

So through all my torment

And all of my pain,

All I wish to know

Is her name.
