Hello Ranger Nation. Welcome back to another chapter!

Before I get started, I just wanted to say that I have altered a few minor things (mostly gramatical) in Legend 3. However, the major thing I changed was Wayne's visor description. I forgot that I had flipped the Green Ranger's and the Yellow Ranger's visor designs. It's now fixed, but I thought everyone should know, just in case.

Thank you to everyone who has read this story. Almost 1000 views in 3 months blows me away. An extra big thank you to those who have been reviewing. It's always interesting to see what people think of my story.

Anyway, time to get into the next chapter!

Legend 4: Get the Point?

Legend tells of a brave and accomplished knight named Percival. Percival was originally raised in forest by his mother before discovering knighthood and becoming one of Arthur's knights. He is best known for being part of the Quest for the Holy Grail, though it is disputed whether he was the main knight to undertake the Quest. Even so, he was considered one of the greatest knights in King Arthur's court. As such, he was involved in the conflict that led to the fall of Camelot, although his exact role was lost to time…

"Why did you come back empty handed?" Morgana demanded as she fired an energy beam that was burning into Liecanthrope's chest. The werewolf was already on his knees, crying out in pain.

"Merlin! His magic was too much!" Liecanthrope managed to get out as the energy beam continued to assault him. "I couldn't overpower him!"

"Merlin was likely holding back," Morgana replied. "I will not be considerate enough to do the same. Especially for failures such as yourself!"

The beam suddenly intensified, and flames actually sparked to life on Liecanthrope's chest. With one final cry, Liecanthrope flew across the forest clearing and landed in a ball on the grass. He slowly dragged himself across the grass to a tree.

"That's right. Crawl away, you miserable mutt," Morgana growled. "Now where is Whipvern?"

Whipvern held her breath as she hid behind a tree.

"Liecanthrope failed and took the blame for it," she whispered to herself. "I just need to make sure the same thing doesn't happen to me. I have no need to worry, though." She smiled. "Three Rangers will be no match for my next creation."

Silver runes appeared around her before creating an energy field she disappeared into. Morgana, noticing a few spare runes flying from behind the tree, smirked.

"She certainly heard the message loud and clear," she said to herself. "Now to see what she can do with her own initiative."

"One pizza for the table," Gwen said as she set out the tray on the table. Arthur looked at the pizza with wide eyes before looking up at Gwen with almost as wide eyes.

"Thank you kindly, Gwen," Arthur said. "You look especially radiant today. Have you done something with your hair?"

"Yeah, I soaked it in the blood of the last guy who asked that sort of question," Gwen snapped before looking at Lance. "Let me know if you guys need anything else. And don't call me over just so your friend can hit on me some more, ok?"

With that, she walked away to the counter, where she began to talk to Vivian.

"Wow, for such a great warrior, you are a terrible flirt," Wayne remarked. "Who even uses the word radiant anymore?"

"Few other words would describe her as well," Arthur replied.

"Well, you're seriously pissing her off," Lance said. "Trust me when I say she's at the point where she might slap somebody. And that somebody is probably you."

"I must get her to notice me," Arthur said. "But how…?"

"Uh, don't try as hard?" Wayne replied as he pulled a slice off the tray and watched as the melted cheese stretched between the tray and his plate.

"Your new friend is right," a familiar voice said. The three young men looked over to see Percy sitting at a table with a cup of coffee on the table in front of him. "Gwen Chambers is pathetically poor and, as such, only cares about one thing in a relationship: Money. Without that, there's little point in even talking to her."

Percy just finished the sentence before looking over to see Gwen standing beside him.

"I've had enough of your attitude," Gwen said. "You think you know how I think but you really don't, and it really pisses me off."

"I don't care how you think," Percy replied. "After all, you're just a boring and ill-tempered waitress who would-"

There was the sound of skin hitting skin before Gwen stomped away.

"Well, you reap what you sow," Wayne remarked. "You had that coming with that condescending attitude of yours."

"Like I care what you think," Percy replied as he felt his red cheek. "Her striking me just proves I was right."

"Percy," Vivian said as she walked over to the young Asian man. "I can't tell you how to live your life, but I can warn you that the more you push people away, the less people are going to want to talk to you."

"I don't need people to talk to," Percy said. "Their weaker intellect only dulls my own."

"Just keep my warning in mind," Vivian said. "A life without people sounds like a very lonely one."

"Hmph," Percy said as he stood up. "Whatever. I'm out of here."

With that, he walked out of the Diner, leaving Vivian with a worried look on her face as she stood there.

"Welp, he's finally gone," Wayne said.

"Vivian?" Lance asked as he looked at Vivian. "Why do you look so worried? He made his choice."

"I'm just hoping that he'll change his mind," Vivian replied. "I don't want him to be alone."

"He deserves it," Wayne said. "He's an asshole, through and through."

Arthur remained silent. Finally, Wayne spoke up.

"Alright, let's eat this pizza before it gets cold," Wayne said as he picked up his slice and took a bite.

"Sir Wayne, you use your hands for this…'pizza'?" Arthur asked.

"Yeah, just grab a slice," Wayne replied. "You can use a plate if you really want to."

Arthur slowly reached out and pulled a slice of the pizza towards him. He watched in surprise as the cheese stretched. Finally, the strings of cheese broke and Arthur put the slice on his plate. He eyed it up for a minute before gingerly picking it up and taking a small bite. His face immediately changed from confused to excited.

"This pizza is amazing!" he said as he took a few much bigger bites. "Such a wonderful combination of ingredients! Vivian, you should be very proud of this dish!"

"Luke will be thrilled that you like it," Vivian said. "He's still getting used to the process of pizza making, so he'll be glad to know people enjoy it."

"Very much so," Arthur said as he grabbed another slice.

"I'll go tell him," Vivian said as she walked over to the counter. Luke was standing there, measuring some fruit into a plastic container filled with yogurt. "The pizza was a success for Arthur and his friends."

"Glad to hear it," Luke said as he finished dumping the fruit into the container. "Now if I could only get these smoothies the way I want them…"

"Don't stress about it too much and keep experimenting," Vivian said. "Fall is just around the corner. Not many people are going to be ordering smoothies at this time of year."

"I've got it this time!" Phillip shouted as he rushed into the Diner holding up his phone. "Auditory evidence of the Questing Beast's existence!"

"I've told you multiple times to not bring your nonsense into my Diner," Vivian said, putting her hands on her hips. "You're going to upset my customers."

"They won't be upset when they hear this proof!" Phillip said as he tapped the play button on his phone.

Just as the sound was about to start, Luke flipped on the blender. The whirring of the blender sounded throughout the Diner and drowned out the sound coming from Phillip's phone. The whirring ended as Phillip looked at Luke, annoyed, before pressing the play button again.

"Nope, still not mixed enough," Luke said before turning on the blender again. Once more, the blender mixing drowned out Phillip's phone. Both ended at the exact same time.

"Do you mind?" Phillip asked.

"Oh!" Luke said as he looked at Phillip. "Sorry! Go ahead!"

"Thank you," Phillip said as he played the play button one more time. Out of his phone came the sound of a…"

"Uh, Phillip?" Vivian asked. "You know that's just a squirrel chittering, right?"

"But listen to the frequency of the noise!" Phillip said. "No squirrel could chitter for that long!"

Everyone looked at Phillip strangely.

"Fine, I suppose I'll just have to find some other evidence!" Phillip shouted as he ran out of the Diner, slamming the door behind him.

"Well, he's certainly an odd one," Wayne said. "That was Phillip, right?"

"The one and only," Lance replied with a nod before looking down at the pizza tray, only to see it was empty. He looked at Wayne. "Where'd all the pizza go?"

Wayne pointed at Arthur, who had a bunch of crumbs all over his plate.

"I suppose I may have…eaten it all, "Arthur admitted.

"I'm getting another," Lance said as he waved over Gwen. "That way I actually get to eat."

"I'm just glad things are peaceful for now," Wayne said. "It's nice to be able to have lunch with friends."

"Never expect peace to last long," Arthur said. "Evil has a habit of rearing its head at the most inopportune moments."

"I need to create a Fae Beast, and quickly," Whipvern said as she walked down the empty street. "Queen Morgana will soon notice I am missing and after that…I can only guess what'll happen."

As she walked up to a construction site, she noticed a lone woman sitting with a hard hat in her hands, clutching it so hard it looked like it may crack, while the other men were up above working.

"You look angry," Whipvern said as she walked up to the woman. "Do you desire revenge?"

"For those guys who ridicule me, day after day?" the woman asked. "You'd better believe it! I just…there's nothing I can do. I don't have the power."

"I can give you power," Whipvern said. "Just sign a contract with me. You can get revenge on those men who look down on you."

"I sign a contract and I get enough power to make them pay?" the woman asked. "Sounds like a good deal to me!"

"Very well," Whipvern said as a silver rune appeared in front of her before flying over the woman and into the back of her neck. It seared itself into the skin as the woman began to change. Her skin became snow-white as her feet became hooves. Her face became horse-like and while her left arm was almost like a human, her right had a large golden drill built into it, almost like a unicorn horn but thicker.

"My name is Drillicorn, and I'm drilling through anyone who crosses me!" Drillicorn shouted.

"Excellent," Whipvern said. "Summon Redcaps if you need them. Meanwhile, I'll return to Queen Morgana and inform her of your creation. Get your revenge and destroy any Rangers that get in your way!"

"You've got it!" Drillicorn shouted as she watched Whipvern teleport away. "Time to get to work!"

"Ready for the check?" Gwen asked as she walked up to the booth.

"Yup," Lance said. As Gwen walked away, he looked at his two companions. "I was thinking we could split it three ways. That way nobody's mooching."

"As you may remember from our last meal, I have no money from this realm," Arthur said.

"Trust me, your clothes give that away," Wayne remarked. "Do you ever change your outfit?"

Arthur looked down at his red tunic.

"Is there something wrong with my clothing?" he asked.

"If you're trying to keep a low profile, then yes," Wayne replied. "You look like you're ready for the Renaissance Fair."

"Arthur's clothes aren't the problem," Lance said. "I guess we'll have to just split the check two ways."

"Uh…did I mention I'm broke?" Wayne asked as he pulled out his wallet and turned it upside down before shaking it. Only a few coins fell out.

"Guess I'll pay for it," Lance sighed as he pulled out a few twenty-dollar bills. "You guys need to get a job or something. I can't pay for your food forever."

"I suppose you are right," Arthur said before the groups' watches began to make the sound of horns playing.

"That can't be good," Wayne said.

Arthur pressed the right button on the watch and spoke into it.

"Merlin, is there a new Fae Beast?" he asked.

"There is," Merlin replied through the watch. "It seems to be near the construction site. I can sense a lot of power coming from it. Be careful."

"Understood," Arthur said. "We will get there as soon as we can." He deactivated the communication feature and looked at his teammates. "Let us go immediately. It sounds as if the Fae Beast is extremely dangerous."

"Right," Lance said as he stuffed the bills in Gwen's hands before running out the door with Wayne and Arthur. "Keep the change!"

"What was that about?" Gwen asked herself as she looked down at the bills stuffed into her hand. "I swear he's been acting more and more weird lately…"

"Me? Need people to talk to?" Percy asked himself as he strolled down the street. "As if. I respect Vivian, but she's completely wrong."

Percy stopped when he heard the shouting. He looked over the fence to see a unicorn-like creature cornering some construction workers, using some girders to block their escape.

"You think you could just make fun of me and there wouldn't be any consequences?" Drillicorn shouted.

"Look, we're sorry!" one of the construction workers shouted. "You don't have to kill us, June!"

"It's Jane!" Drillicorn snapped. "That shows just how little you think of me. You don't even remember my name! Or should I say, my former name. Now you can call me Drillicorn. Something tells me you won't forget it. Especially because it'll be the last words from your lips"

"Hold it!" a voice shouted. Three figures flipped in the air over Drillicorn and landed between her and the construction workers. They turned around to reveal themselves as Arthur, Lance and Wayne, all morphed.

"You won't be killing anyone today," Arthur said as the three Rangers drew their Legend Blades.

"Do you even know what these men did to me?" Drillicorn asked. "Do you know how much ridicule they gave me, just for wanting to be their equal?"

"I am sorry to hear that," Arthur said. "But killing them will not make you feel better."

"How the hell do you know?" Drillicorn asked as her drill began to rotate.

Arthur remained silent.

"See, you don't know anything!" Drillicorn shouted.

"I know that your potential victims are now safe," Arthur said. "And I know that you will fall."

"Safe? What do you- No!" Drillicorn shouted as she looked over to see Wayne guiding the construction workers to safety. Her drill began to spin even faster. "You're dead! All of you are dead!"

With a scream of rage, she charged at Arthur and Lance. Arthur blocked her drill with the flat of his Legend Blade. Sparks began to fly as Drillicorn's drill continued to spin. Eventually, the pressure was too much, and Arthur flew backwards.

Lance knocked away Drillicorn's first strike with his Legend Blade before striking a few times with it. If it had any effect, it was minimal, as Drillicorn just shrugged off the attack before stabbing the surprised Lance in the chest. While it didn't pierce his suit, he still flew back a few dozen feet, sparks buffeting off the area he had been hit.

Wayne, having got all of the workers to safety, pulled his Gargoyle Shield Emblem from his belt buckle and put it into his Legend Blade.

"Number Three! Gargoyle! Time to Start the Legend!" the Legend Blade announced as green light radiated from the Emblem.

Wayne pressed the red button on the hilt, causing rock music to play.

"Activate Stone Power!" the Legend Blade announced as the music stopped.

"Gargoyle Stone Spikes!" Wayne shouted as he stabbed his blade into the ground. A green beam flew through his blade underground and circled Drillicorn before dissipating. A few seconds later, large spikes made of solid stone flew out of the ground and surrounded Drillicorn, with a few even striking her as the spikes stuck out at strange angles.

"You guys ok?" Wayne asked as he ran up to Arthur and Lance, both of whom were slowly standing up.

"That drill hits like a truck," Lance said. "That being said, I think I'm ok."

"I know not what a 'truck' is, but she strikes hard," Arthur said. "I believe if we keep our distance and attack with our elements, we should be able to defeat her."

"Right!" Lance said.

"I need a moment to recharge," Wayne said. "It's up to you two."

The sound of drilling intensified as some of the stone spikes began to crack. With a loud crack, they suddenly shattered. Drillicorn let out some loud, heaving breaths as her drill stopped spinning for a moment.

"Now you've really pissed me off," she said.

"Wrong," Arthur replied. "Now we've defeated you!"

"Activate Fire Power!"

"Activate Wind Power!"

"Dragon Fire Cutter!" Arthur shouted as he sliced horizontally downwards. An arc made of flames flew out of the Legend Blade and towards Drillicorn.

"Hippogriff Wind Vortex!" Lance shouted as he pointed his Blade forward. A blue tinted tornado flew out of the tip of the blade and towards Drillicorn.

Drillicorn pointed her drill at the attacks as they flew towards her. With a whir, the drill began to spin again. When the drill met the arc of flames, it split it in half. Both halves flew into separate girders where they dissipated harmlessly. As for the tornado, Drillicorn's drill suddenly began to spin the other way. The two circling forces struck each other as Drillicorn grunted. Slowly, the whirlwind died as the drill's circular force canceled out the tornado.

"Impossible!" Arthur shouted.

"What was that about you having defeated me?" Drillicorn sneered. Her drill began to spin faster as air began to swirl around it. "You like ranged attacks so much? Why don't you taste one of mine?"

She stabbed forward with her drill, causing the air gathered around it to fly forward in a drill-like shape. The Rangers cried out as the large air-drill struck all three of them in the chest. Sparks flew as they flew back. As they hit the ground, they demorphed.

"Them?" Percy asked, as he had still been watching the battle. "Those idiots are the Power Rangers?"

"Now to finish you three off," Drillicorn said as she marched forward, her drill still spinning. Suddenly, her drill began to slow before finally stopping. She looked down at it in shock.

"What's happening?" she demanded as she smacked the drill with her normal hand. "Work, damn it!"

"Her Fae Energy has run out," Arthur said as he grunted, trying to stand up. "Now is our chance!"

"I'm not giving you that chance," Drillicorn said as green runes began to surround her. "I'll get my revenge yet, Rangers!" With that, the runes created an energy field that Drillicorn disappeared into.

"Man, we just got our asses kicked," Wayne groaned as he slowly stood up.

"At least we're alive," Lance said as he did the same. "You ok, Arthur? You took the brunt of the attack."

"I am alright," Arthur said as he got up as well. "But we need a way to defeat that monster."

"Look over there!" Lance said as he pointed at Percy. "Isn't that Percy?"

Percy walked around the fence and towards the group.

"How long have you been watching?" Arthur asked.

"Long enough," Percy replied. "You three are Power Rangers? No wonder you lost."

"Jeez, even knowing we're Power Rangers doesn't change his attitude towards us," Wayne remarked.

"His attitude towards us is unimportant," Arthur said. "I am more worried about a civilian such as Percy knowing our identities. We will take him to Merlin at once."

"That's likely not the best idea," Wayne replied.

"No, Arthur's right," Lance said. "Maybe Merlin can do some sort of mind wipe on him."

"Fine," Wayne replied. "But see if Merlin can fix his personality while he's at it."

"Come on," Arthur said as he gestured to Percy. "You are coming with us."
"Gladly," Percy said with a smirk.

If I can get to their base, maybe I can become a Ranger too! he thought. In fact, I can become a better Ranger than these three losers!

"No lagging behind," Lance said. "We can't take you on the Pegasus Cycles and it's a long walk."

"Fine," Percy said as he picked up the pace. He had a lot of planning to do during this walk anyway.

"Drillicorn, was it?" Morgana asked as she looked over the Fae Beast. "You have potential. Not only could you cancel out the Rangers' attacks, you even managed to defeat them!"

"I just want my revenge," Drillicorn replied. "I'll destroy anyone who gets in the way of that."

"Whipvern made a good choice in creating you," Morgana said.

Whipvern walked out from behind a tree.

"I'm glad you think so, my queen," she said. "I believe with a bit more Fae Energy, Drillicorn will be able to destroy the Rangers once and for all."

"I have to agree," Morgana said. "However, I think she would succeed even faster with your help. I want you to join her and help her in destroying the Rangers!"

"Finally!" Whipvern said. "I've been waiting for my chance to fight!" She bowed before Morgana. "Thank you, my queen! I won't let you down."

"I certainly hope not," Morgana said before gesturing to Liecanthrope, who was still leaning against a tree, healing. "You have seen what happens to those who fail."

"That will not happen to me, my queen," Whipvern replied. "Now, if you could restore Drillicorn's Fae Energy…"

Morgana put out a hand as a ball of glowing light flew into it. She gestured towards Drillicorn as it flew inside the Fae Beast. Drillicorn looked down as her drill did a quick spin.

"Now to get my revenge!" Drillicorn shouted enthusiastically.

"AND destroy the Rangers," Whipvern said as silver runes surrounded the two of them.

"Yes, and destroy the Rangers," Drillicorn said, a little less enthused. The runes created an energy field that the two Fae Beasts disappeared into.

As the Rangers and Percy made their way towards the entrance to the Crystal Caves, Percy suddenly stopped, clutching his head.

"What is it?" Arthur asked.

TURN BACK! a loud voice shouted in Percy's head. TURN BACK!

You think I'm going to turn back just because some weird voice told me to? Percy thought. Shut up! I need to become a Ranger, after all. Then I can prove myself better than these idiots. Nothing's stopping me now!

"It's nothing," Percy said as he stood straight and continued following the group. As they entered the mouth of the cave, Percy could hear the voice in his mind shouting the same phrase over and over. He grunted as the voice grew louder and louder.

The group reached the main room and Percy let out a gasp of relief as the voice stopped.

"Welcome back, Rangers," Merlin said. "And welcome, Percy Yun."

"You know who he is?" Lance asked.

"I do," Merlin replied. "I am aware of most of the population of Avalon Hollow and I am especially aware of him due to his…disconcerting attitude."

"Disconcerting?" Percy asked. "I'm just a genius surrounded by cretins. Any smart person would act the same."

"We will have to agree to disagree there," Merlin replied. "That being said, your mental fortitude is remarkable. No one has ever been able to get past the new spell I set up to keep civilians away. You are truly determined in your goals."

"I am," Percy said. "I want to be a Ranger."

"So you can prove yourself better than the others," Merlin said. "Trust me, I am aware. I may have taken a peek in that 'genius' mind of yours. It is all you have been thinking about since you first saw the Rangers demorph."

"We never said anything about becoming a Ranger!" Arthur said. "You are here to have your mind manipulated and then to leave." He turned to Merlin. "Tell me you are not actually considering his demands!"

"While I don't wish to fracture team unity, I do believe that Percy would be a good Ranger," Merlin said. "His heart is in the right place, even if his goals do not appear that way. And besides, Ruby likes him."

He pointed to the carbuncle, who has started nuzzling against Percy.

"I suppose…" Arthur said as he contemplated.

"You're the team leader," Lance said. "I'll trust your judgment, even with my reservations about Percy."

"Might I remind you that three Rangers were not enough to defeat Drillicorn?" Merlin said. "A fourth may turn the tide."

"Wow, you're really pushing for Percy joining the team, aren't you?" Wayne remarked.

"I believe it is the best course of action," Merlin said. "However, I am not the one making the decision."

"Very well," Arthur said as he looked back at the group. "We need any and all help we can get. Percy, please join us."

"I was hoping you would come around to my way of thinking," Percy said with a smirk. "Now where do I get one of your watch-devices?"

"Right here," Merlin said as he pulled a Shield Emblem out of the steaming cauldron resting against the wall. He walked over to the case and pulled out the second-to-last Legendizer. When the Shield Emblem was placed above the Legendizer, it turned yellow and morphed into a snake head with a hissing noise to match.

"This Shield Emblem and Legendizer both have the power of the Basilisk in them," Merlin said as he handed them to Percy. "Use them well."

"Oh trust me," Percy said. "I will."

"Percy, kneel before me," Arthur said as he summoned his Legend Blade.

"Absolutely not," Percy said.

"'Tis a ritual for knighthood," Arthur said. "You must kneel to be accepted as one of my knights."

"Fine!" Percy said as he slowly kneeled.

"I dub thee, Sir Percy of Avalon Hollow," Arthur said as he tapped the flat of his blade on Percy's shoulders.

"Now what?" Percy said as he stood up. "I didn't become a Ranger to do weird rituals."

Merlin was about to respond when he suddenly held his head, grunting in pain.

"You got your wish, Percy. Drillicorn is back," Merlin said as he gestured to the Crystal Ball. As the Rangers looked within it, they could see the construction workers running away…again.

"Did those construction workers seriously go back to work after their crewmate turned into a monster and tried to kill them?" Wayne asked.

"That's what it looks like," Lance replied.

"Idiots," Percy said.

"Idiots or not, we need to save them," Arthur said as he pulled the Pegasus Emblem and Legend Blade from thin air. "Let us go at once!"

"Right!" the three other Rangers replied as all four ran out of the main room.

Ruby let out a cry as she leapt onto the table.

"No, I didn't have to use my powers to influence him at all," Merlin said. "Arthur came to that choice on his own."

Ruby let out another cry.

"You don't have to believe me, but I'm telling the truth," Merlin replied before letting out a sigh. "I'm going to miss these chats, my friend."

Ruby nuzzled up to Merlin as the old wizard petted her head. She knew what was coming soon.

"Run! There's two of them now!" a construction worker shouted before Whipvern's whip struck him in the back. He cried out in pain before falling down face-first.

Drillicorn let out a malicious laugh as she slammed her drill into one of the construction workers. Luckily, it wasn't spinning, so the damage was less than could be expected. However, as the construction worker looked down at the large drill in his stomach, his eyes rolled back in his head as he fainted.

"Oh god! They got Jim!" another construction worker shouted as he looked back.

"Forget Jim!" a fourth worker shouted as he ran. "Save yourself!"

There was the rev of motorcycles as four helmeted figures jumped over the fence and landed with a screech in front of the two villains. They quickly pulled off their helmets as their motorcycles disappeared.

"Rangers," Whipvern said. "I was hoping you would show up!"

"Are we supposed to know who you are?" Lance asked.

"The name's Whipvern," Whipvern said as she coiled up her whip again. "It'll be the last name you know before your bloody deaths."

"I see," Percy said. "The name Whipvern refers to the Wyvern, which is related to the diamond shaped end of your whip. Some might consider that clever wordplay."

"And who the hell are you?" Whipvern asked. "There are only three Legendary Knight Rangers!"

"Shows what you know," Percy replied. "I'm the fourth Legendary Knight Ranger. But you can remember me as the Ranger who defeated you."

"Big words coming from such a new Ranger," Whipvern said. "Why don't you back them up with some action?"

"Gladly," Percy said as he and the other Rangers pressed the button on their watches, expanding them into the Legendizers, before pulling out their Shield Emblems and opening the Legendizer's mouth before inserting the Emblem and closing it.
"Dragon!" the Red Legendizer announced as its eyes flashed green.

"Hippogriff!" the Blue Legendizer announced as its eyes flashed yellow.

"Gargoyle!" the Green Legendizer announced as its eyes flashed orange.

"Basilisk!" the Yellow Legendizer announced as its eyes flashed red.

The sound of horns filled the air as the four Rangers posed.

"Legendary Knight, Ready to Fight!" they shouted together as they pressed the button on the left side of their Legendizers.

"Legend Begin!" the Legendizers announced together.

Morphing Sequence

Arthur is standing in a sea of fire with a sword embedded in a stone in front of him. As he draws the sword and raises it above his head, the blade begins to glow. The glow then transfers from the blade to Arthur, traveling through the hilt, down his arm and then through his whole body excluding his head. As Arthur puts the blade into the loop on his left side, the glowing energy forms into his Ranger suit. Flame then swirls around his head, creating the helmet as a dragon's roar can be heard in the background.

Lance is standing in a cyclone of blue wind with a sword embedded in a stone in front of him. As he draws the sword and raises it above his head, the blade begins to glow. The glow then transfers from the blade to Lance, traveling through the hilt, down his arm and then through his whole body excluding his head. As Lance puts the blade into the loop on his left side, the glowing energy forms into his Ranger suit. Wind then swirls around his head, creating the helmet as the screech of a Hippogriff can be heard in the background.

Wayne is standing in a green-glowing rocky field with a sword embedded in a larger stone in front of him. As he draws the sword and raises it above his head, the blade begins to glow. The glow then transfers from the blade to Wayne, traveling through the hilt, down his arm and then through his whole body excluding his head. As Wayne puts the blade into the loop on his left side, the glowing energy forms into his Ranger suit. Tiny stones then swirl around his head, creating the helmet as the roar of a Gargoyle can be heard in the background.

Percy is standing in a sea of poison surrounded by a yellow sky with a sword embedded in a stone in front of him. As he draws the sword and raises it above his head, the blade begins to glow. The glow then transfers from the blade to Percy, traveling through the hilt, down his arm and then through his whole body excluding his head. As Percy puts the blade into the loop on his left side, the glowing energy forms into his Ranger suit. A poison spiral then swirls around his head, creating the helmet as the hiss of a Basilisk can be heard in the background.

End Morphing Sequence

"The Noble Dragon! Red Legendary Knight Ranger!" Arthur shouted as he drew his sword and posed.

"The Honorable Hippogriff! Blue Legendary Knight Ranger!" Lance shouted as he drew his sword and posed.

"The Vigilant Gargoyle! Green Legendary Knight Ranger!" Wayne shouted as he drew his sword and posed.

"The Cold-Blooded Basilisk! Yellow Legendary Knight Ranger!" Percy shouted as he drew his sword and posed. His suit was quite similar to the other three's with the silver armor-like design for the chest, pauldrons on his shoulders, a shield-shaped belt buckle and silver gloves and boots. What was different was the Emblem on the right side of his chest, which resembled his personal Shield Emblem, and his helmet. His visor was like two ovals next to each other, almost like goggles, with a silver outline and five silver bars running down it. The eyes above his visor were red and angular.

"The Legend Begins Anew!" Arthur shouted.

"Power Rangers Legendary Knights!" the four Rangers shouted as they posed together.

Arthur pointed his sword at Drillicorn and Whipvern.

"Prepare to taste the cold steel of justice!" he shouted before the four charged forward.

Whipvern pulled her whip from her holster and lashed at Arthur and Lance as they approached, forcing them back. The whip was striking the ground so hard that pebbles were being thrown up with every lash.

"What's wrong, Rangers?" she asked as she lashed out again and again. "I thought you were going to defeat me!"

"Percy and his big mouth…" Lance remarked as he continued backwards.

"Whether he said it or not, it is true that we must defeat her," Arthur replied. "Take advantage of the opening I am about to grant you, Sir Lance." He leapt into the air, over Whipvern's whip strikes, before coming down in a flying kick. Whipvern stumbled back as Lance followed up with a powerful two handed swing of his sword. She fell to the ground before quickly standing back up.

"You think such a pathetic string of attacks can beat me?" she asked. "Don't make me laugh!"

"We need to hit her with a more powerful attack," Arthur said. "Let us try a Legend Break."

"Right," Lance said.

Meanwhile, Wayne and Percy were fighting off Drillicorn. The Fae Beast was constantly charging at the two, only for them to dodge.

"Stay still, damn it!" Drillicorn shouted as she stabbed with her drill again, only for Percy to roll out of the way. Her drill continued through, stabbing into a large girder. She tried to pull it out, only to discover the drill was caught.

"Uh oh," she said as she turned her head to see Percy and Wayne inserting their Shield Emblems.

"Dragon! Hippogriff! Gargoyle! Basilisk!" the Legend Blades announced. "Legend Break!"

The four Rangers ran at their targets at superhuman speed, their respective elements surrounding their sword blades. They slashed as they passed the two Fae Beasts before stopping a few dozen feet away and posing.

"That's alright!" Drillicorn shouted as she fell. "I know the drill!" With that, she fell to the ground and exploded.

"Revenge…" a female voice said as Percy whirled around to see the woman who had become Drillicorn crawling forward. "I must have my revenge!" She looked up at Percy, who was staring at her coldly. "Why is life so cruel to deny me that?" With that, the brand on the back of her neck shattered and she disintegrated into dust.

"That's it?" Percy asked. "I was expecting more."

"A woman just died!" Wayne shouted. "What do you mean you were 'expecting more'?"

"She made her choice to be evil," Percy replied. "I was expecting her to be more of a challenge if she made such a choice."

"Not everyone chooses to be evil," Wayne argued. "If you don't agree, then your roll call fits you perfectly! You really are cold-blooded!"

"I couldn't care less what you think," Percy said. "Now come on, it looks like the other two idiots need some help. Luckily, I have a plan."

Indeed, Arthur and Lance were in trouble. While they had landed their Legend Breaks on Whipvern, it appeared as if the attacks were only somewhat effective. Whipvern's armor had cuts on it in a few places and she was breathing heavily, but she was still standing.

"Ready to quit already, Rangers?" she asked as she looked at the two Rangers backing away. "Because I'm just getting started!"

Her whip began to glow with a silver light before she lashed out at the Rangers again. Percy leapt in the way of the attack and blocked the lash with his sword. However, it still sent him flying backwards. He landed in a crouch before rolling out of the way of the next strike. The whip struck one of the girders being used for support and a huge indent appeared where the whip had hit.

"Get out of here!" Percy said as he looked back at Arthur and Lance.

"I will not flee!" Arthur said. "My duty as a-"

"Just move!" Percy said as he shoved Arthur and Lance with all of his strength. The two tumbled back as Percy barely dodged another attack. Wayne helped them stand up as the three watched Percy dodge each and every attack. He seemed to be moving at the last second, allowing the whip to strike the girder behind him. Finally, he leveled his sword.

"What are you trying to do, Yellow Ranger?" Whipvern asked. "You can't beat me by yourself, and you can't dodge forever. It's only a matter of time until I destroy you."

"You don't know me at all," Percy said. "I can do whatever I want. Including this!"

He whirled around and slashed a girder. The sword sliced through the metal like a knife through hot butter. He dove towards the other Rangers as the entire structure started coming down. Whipvern looked up as a large girder came from above and nearly crushed her. She let out a cry as a small piece of one one hit her leg. She grunted as the pillars fell around her, trapping her in a small pocket. She smiled as silver runes surrounded her.

"You may have outsmarted me during this fight, Rangers, but my pure strength will beat you next time," Whipvern said as she disappeared into the energy field the runes created.

"Is she dead?" Wayne asked as the Rangers were surrounded in a spiral of their element that demorphed them before looking at the large pile of girders that had stacked up.

"I have a feeling that for all her talk of strength, Whipvern is more clever than she lets on," Arthur said. "I have a feeling that she did indeed survive."

"And we'll beat her next time too," Lance said.

"Uh…'we'?" Percy asked. "I'm the one who defeated her. The three of you did jack shit compared to me!"

"I appreciate what you did, Sir Percy," Arthur said. "However, it was indeed a team effort. We worked together to defeat her."

"Whatever," Percy said as he turned around.

"Should we return to Merlin?" Lance asked as he looked at Arthur.

"We should," Arthur said. "We need to discuss the threat of Whipvern with him.

"I see," Merlin said as Arthur finished the story. "Another powerful Fae Beast, just like Liecanthrope. If I had to guess, I would say that they are likely Morgana's generals."

"You say 'are'," Lance said. "So Whipvern survived?"

"She did," Merlin said with a nod. "I sensed a burst of Fae Energy right after she was buried. It was most likely her teleporting back to Morgana."

"Great, so we still have two to deal with," Wayne said.

"Plus any more Fae Beasts that they create to help them," Lance said.

"Merlin, is there any chance that the fifth Legendizer will be done soon?" Arthur asked as he looked over at the steaming cauldron.

"It'll be a few hours at least," Merlin said. "However, once it is done, I have a suggestion for your final member."

"Of course," Arthur said. "Please, tell us."

Merlin walked over to the crystal ball and put a hand on it. An image appeared inside it, that of Gwen.

"I believe Gwen Chambers to be the best candidate," Merlin said. "She already has connections to most of you and she has a good heart."

"Absolutely not!" Arthur shouted. "A maiden should not fight the battles of a knight!"

"Gwen is an absolutely awful idea," Percy said. "She's pathetic, she can't fight and-"

"That's enough out of you," Wayne interrupted before looking at Arthur. "Look, I know you don't like the idea of women fighting, but times have really changed since you were king. Most women can take care of themselves. We've even had female Power Rangers! Though only half of them seem to wear skirts…"

"The point is that Gwen might not be as bad a choice as you claim," Lance said, stepping in once he realized Wayne was getting off topic. "We could use a fifth Ranger and I know Gwen is reliable."

"I will consider it," Arthur said.

"That's all we can ask," Merlin said.

"AHHHHH!" Whipvern screamed as Morgana's energy beams burned into her.

"I gave you a chance to defeat the Rangers your way, Whipvern," Morgana said. "And you squandered it!"

Whipvern didn't answer. The pain was too intense for her to think, let alone speak.

Liecanthrope looked back at the scene of Whipvern's torture before limping forward. He soon reached another clearing, this one with bookshelves built into the trees and a wooden table in the center. The titles on the book spines were mostly in runes. However, a few had English titles. Liecanthrope looked around before his eyes fell on one book in particular.

He pulled it from the tree and opened it up. His eyes quickly scanned the open pages.

"Interesting," he said as he put the book on the table and sat down. "This book might give me exactly what I need…"

As he flipped open the book again, the title could be seen on the front: The Fall of Camelot.

That does it for Legend 4! Percy was an interesting character to write, as he isn't really an archetype I personally like to read or watch but was fun to write. I suppose I'll just have to see what you guys think of him and if he works.

I did want to give an update for next month. Finals are coming up and I'm unsure how my schedule will look with that. I'll also have a lot more writing to do then for my Creative Writing classes, which drain my creative side a bit. As such, the next Legend might be delayed more than usual. Nothing I can really do about it, unfortunately.

That's it from me! May the power protect you, always.
