Disclaimer- I don't own Queer as Folk...I wish I did...but I don't.

A/N- An extra note for you...I'm going to be writing a lot of these little one shots. There's going to be one from everyone's POV, and I already have three of them finished. Well...my best friend enjoyed this, so I hope you will too.

It started at Babylon, and it'll end at Babylon. About four years ago, I met Brian. I though he was a god, but boy was I wrong. Not only was he built like a god, had the face of a god, wore the clothes of a god, he fucked like a god, therefore, making him the God. Yes, Brian Kinney is my God. But he has to be someone else's God now, because I'm sick of him. Of course I love him, I don't think I ever won't love him, but I can't go on living with someone who doesn't love me back, and won't admit that he does. So tonight, when we meet the boys at Babylon, I'm going to take him aside and end it.

"Mikey, can you pass the ketchup?" Ben asked his husband. They were sitting across from Emmett and I in the diner. It was already ten o'clock in the morning and Brian still hadn't shown up.

"Sure, hon." Michael picked up the ketchup bottle and handed it to Ben with a kiss.

"Hey, Sunshine." Brian said breathlessly as he rushed over to us. Bending down low, he gave me a deep passionate kiss that was very unusual for the morning.

"What do you want?" I asked him while he pulled a chair up from a nearby table and sat next to me.

"Nothing. I'm not allowed to show a little love?" He asked and picked up a french fry from Ben's plate.

Everyone stopped what they were doing and stared straight at him.

"Did you just use the "L" word in a sentence?" Emmett asked, clearly in shock.

"Uh..." Brian was nervous. I could tell. "Yeah."

I didn't react. All I did was sit there and stare at my coffee. What could I do? Earlier that same morning, I had decided that I was going to leave him. But now he was actually showing signs of having some romantic genes in his DNA. Why did everything have to be so fucking difficult?

"Sunshine, are you all right?" Brian asked me.

"Yeah. Fine." I replied. I reached out and held his hand, squeezing it tightly. "I love you."

"I..." He began. I could tell that he wanted to say it, and I felt so terrible. I loved him, and he was being so sweet. Was I going to be able to leave him tonight? "Me too." He whispered in my ear. That wasn't good enough.

"Do you want to go back home?" I asked.

"Can't. Gotta work if you want to keep living in the loft. You know that, Sunshine." Brian replied. He smiled warmly and gave me a toe-curling kiss. "See you boys tonight at Babylon?"

"Sure thing." Emmett said cheerfully.

"We can't. Hunter's birthday party is tonight." Michael said.

"All right then. We'll have a good time without you." He said boastfully. Looking down at me he said, "Hey, come outside with me."

I nodded, and followed him outside into the frigid air. "What is it?" I asked.

"I...I need to tell you something." He replied, and noticing that I wasn't wearing a coat, pulled me close. Gazing deeply into my eyes, his own alight with passion, he uttered those three words I had been dying to hear. "I love you Justin." He said. His voice wasn't devoid of emotion like I had imagined it would be. It was actually full of raw emotion.

"Oh, gosh." I whispered. "I love you too."

He hugged me tightly, only letting go to glance at his watch. "I have to go to work."

"Okay. See you at Babylon?" I asked, getting on tiptoe to receive a kiss.

"Of course." He gave me a kiss and waved over his shoulder as he headed for the car. Watching him drive away, I realized that I was having second thoughts. I ducked back into the diner and rejoined my friends.

"So...are things getting complicated?" Emmett asked. A few days ago, I confessed my worry and my plan to him on the phone.

"He told me, Em. He said the words." I answered.

"You mean to tell me that Brian Kinney said 'I love you', and meant it?" Michael asked in excitement.

"Yeah. It shocked me, and now I don't think I'll be able to leave him." I said.

"If he really does love you, that means he'll care for you. I think you should stay." Ben explained. He and Michael, despite Michael being Brian's best friend, had been totally supportive of what I was doing.

"I'm going to stay. I'm not expecting marriage or anything. Just him telling me that he loves me is enough. If I can hear that everyday, I'll live with being nothing more than his boyfriend." I told them.

"Hello, Sunshine!" Emmett said cheerfully. He arrived toting Ted.

"Hi, Em." I said. I was feeling glum, even with the upbeat music pounding through my body. Noticing Emmett hugging Ted and holding his hand, I asked him about it. "Are you two seeing each other again?"

"Yes. Sorry I didn't tell you before." Emmett confessed.

"No need to apologize. It's really none of my fucking business." I said.

"Of course it's your fucking business. You're my best friend!" Emmett exclaimed. As he did so, Brian showed up.

"There you are." He whispered in my ear. Hooking a finger into my belt loop, he yanked me into his arm.

Feeling better, I kissed him. "Took you long enough to get here." I said.

"Mmmm..." He murmured as he took a slug of my drink. "I love you."

"I love you too." He had said it loud enough for Emmett to hear. Upon hearing the confession, Emmett looked over at me and smiled.

"You did the right thing, Sunshine." Emmett whispered in my ear after Brian had released me.

"I know." I answered. I loved Brian, and he loved me too. That was all I needed. All that kept me with him.

A/N- Well, that's it...just another one shot written in less than fifteen minutes. grins I hope you liked it, and I hope you'll review.
