"How did your first training with Sara went?" Tsunade asked Kakashi when he came back to report. The story that Sara took Kakashi's bell on her very first training session was already going around and Tsunade would gladly rub it in his face.

However, Kakashi's words stopped her from teasing him. "I think we have a problem." He said dead seriously.

"A problem?" Tsunade frowned her face.

"She's smarter than I thought. For all we know she's fooling all of us with an act. I can't rule out the possibility that she might be a spy." Kakashi told her.

"So, we have a problem." Tsunade said worried. "What if she's even capable of showing Inoichi images she wanted him to see? That everything is just one big distraction from who she really is?"

"It doesn't have to be, but it is a possibility." Kakashi pointed out.

"Dammit Kakashi, you know very well that the chances of her being a spy are much higher than the chances of her being from some other dimension. I don't like those odds."

Silence filled the room.

"But if that would be true, then what are we up against? Who could she belong to?" Tsunade wondered.

"We need to find out." Kakashi added.

"But how are we going to do this? How will we ever find out what her real intentions are before it's too late? If... she has other intentions."

"Well, I've been thinking and I have an idea. This might be a bit extreme, but this will definitely show her true colors."

"I don't care what it takes Kakashi, we need to make sure. In the end her life is worth nothing compared to risking the future of Konoha. Do what it takes."

"As you wish, Tsunade."

It was finally morning; I was so excited for this day to start. Everyday had more and more surprises in store for me. I couldn't forget my old life completely, but all this distraction sure helped. I felt like today was going to be more special than yesterday. The weather was nice, I felt good. Nothing could stop me.

So, I was extra disappointed when I found out Kakashi had ditched me with a job I needed to do for the Hokage. A small package needed to be delivered to some northern village. Kakashi had other stuff to do today, as well did Yamato. So, lady Tsunade thought I could make myself useful today and deliver a package from her to the northern village leader Tio-den. It was a simple shoulder bag with a bottle of booze, a thank you letter and some dried flowers. It was a shitty version of the cheapest Christmas gift you could think off an employee would give to his employer. But apparently it was important to say thanks to the village that helped them through a rough time involving a shortage of forehead protection plates. Basically, it was such a simple job with such a non-important package they could send anyone really. But I got it that I was the one stuck with the job since the Hokage was paying for my stay in Konoha. I should earn my stay after all.

It was a wonderful day to take a long walk and I shouldn't be complaining. But I was just looking forward spending another day finding out more incredible things about myself. But not today... But how could I resist a simple request from someone that paid the roof above my head. So, I went.

"Just take the path north until you find a big tree that has been split into two. It was struck by lightning in the past. Then take a right and follow the path alongside the river. It will lead directly to Valmar Village, you can't get lost", Tsunade had assured me. I swung the bag carefully over my head and over my shoulder. The bottle made it heavy, but not by that much. I set my first step towards the northern gate of Konoha... After I asked around which one was north.

It was a long way of forest, forest and some more forest until I finally found the river Tsunade was referring to. Of course, that was still inside the forest. I believed it was already a 15-kilometer walk, so it will still take me a while to get there. They had no busses, cars or even horses they used to get anywhere. But seeing how fast Kakashi could run, I can imagine they didn't need any other transportation besides their own two legs. I did wonder how other people with no chakra would leave the town. Although it occurred to me the path alongside the river was pretty much deserted and overgrown with weeds. Perhaps traveling to other towns was not a regular thing to do in this world.

Just when I expected to reach the village anytime now a kunai suddenly swift by and got stuck in the forest floor in front of me. Making me jump up and take cover behind a tree. I turned around to see where it came from. Right, left? In the trees? I saw nothing. Then I turned around again and three men were blocking my view. I didn't hear them move at all, when did they get here?! I fell on my butt for seeing them suddenly so close.

"Young lady," the middle one spoke to me, "what are you doing here?"

"Me? I'm just delivering a package." I pointed to my shoulder bag. I didn't care much if they were willing to take it away from me, I'm sure lady Tsunade had another bottle of booze laying around somewhere she could send. And seeing they threw a kunai knife right in front of me, they weren't going to be friendly.

"Where are you from?"

"Uhm Konoha." It had no use to lie, I couldn't name any other town around here, I didn't know any. "On my way to Valmar village... it's just a thank you gift."

"Valmar Village? There is no village around here by the name of that. Are you trying to fool me?"

"No not really, I'm not from around here, so basically I'm just following the directions I got and part of that is following this road."

"See, there is a problem, this road leads to enemy territory, you can't enter."

"I have no enemies."

"Konoha does."

"Why would Konoha send me this way, knowing I would walk right into enemy territory. This is north from Konoha right?" I got a bit worried, perhaps I was walking the wrong way all along.

"Yes, but sure as hell there is no Valmar Village between Konoha and our territory. You're not welcome here."

"I see, well I'll just take my leave then." I'm sure Tsunade wouldn't mind if I got back with the package if I could tell her three large strong guys wouldn't let me through to deliver it. They looked like shinobi as well, but with a different design of clothing and a different logo on their forehead protectors. It was very clear to me that they weren't friendly towards Konoha. And I did hear some things in the inns lobby about Konoha being at war with different tribes in the past. Their head protectors showed a logo of three curved lines and across was a straight line, like if it was added later with a sharp knife. Whoever they are, I needed to get away from them.

"There is just one problem," Two of the men jumped behind me. Surrounding me completely. "We can't let you go either."

Shit.

"So why not? I don't want any trouble. I'll just go and leave you alone." My voice sounded relax, but I sure wasn't.

"You see, we made a promise that we'd take out all Konoha scum that sets foot on our territory."

And before I could protest, "Or people that have chosen to side with them. From whatever place you are with your fancy outfit."

Fuck. I was in deep shit.

Then one of the guys behind asked me: "let me see your real chakra level. No way Konoha sends someone with no chakra into the enemies liar. Why are you really here?" He was tall, but skinny. Nevertheless, his upper arms looked like he trained a lot with heavy objects. His skin was pail, almost white.

Tsunade... did she know? Did she intentionally drove me to this place knowing I would find trouble like this? To what end?

"Who are you?" The third one asked me. He was chubby and his skin almost had a blueish color. They reminded me of fish, or worse, sharks. Even the first guy seems to have something like gills in his neck and his teeth seemed to be off, like if he had way too many and way to sharp.

"I'm Sara, and I'm not from around here. So just leave me be." I tried again, "who are you?"

"You don't need to know."

"Prepare to die!" I heard from behind me. The big guy swung a sword my way that he carried on his back. I barely dodged it by taking one step back. It did slice my chest. Luckily, I wore my knife proof vest otherwise I was already on the floor bleeding out.

The next guy kicked me in my back and hurled me into a tree. Air got knocked out of my lungs because of the impact. I'm sure the bottle inside the bag didn't make it. I wasn't going to last very long either with these shinobi insisting on having me dead.

"Wait!" I begged, but there was no remorse. Instead, one of them yelled something and pressed his hands together making a dragon out of water rushing towards me. I quickly duck behind the tree I was just thrown against but the tree didn't hold it and got broken in half. A flood of water was soon taking me and the three with it. What the actual fuck was going on? But why was I even surprised? If someone could grow wood out of his hands, then sure, why no water dragon as well?

Because of the waterflow I got dragged into the river. It took me a while before I managed to swim to the surface again. I gasped for air. I was a good swimmer, but I never managed to hold my breath very long. I swam to shore and pulled myself out. I was very much aware the three sharks were watching my every move.

"This girl is boring. Perhaps she really doesn't have any chakra at all."

"Then it's a miracle she isn't dead yet."

"Well let's change that. She's just a waste of our time."

They weren't going to give me any brake at all, "Ah come on," I tried to bring out. "What did I do to deserve this?"

"Don't make me repeat it again, you should have stayed the hell away."

"I didn't know, they didn't tell me."

"Not my problem." The guy with the gills kicked me against my head from behind. I never saw him coming. Lights out.

No, not really out, but my vision was hazy, blurry. I blinked with my eyes. Okay I was out maybe for a few seconds; I was suddenly lying flat on my back.

"Is she dead now? Just throw her back into the water." Someone said.

"Nope, she's not dead yet. She just needs one final kick to send her over the edge."

I saw one of the guys aiming his swords towards me. Ready to stab me to dead. I saw him in a very blurry slow motion, but I couldn't move. I was dazed from the last blow. He would stab me right in my heart and I was unable to move. I closed my eyes. Scared, waiting...

Then a whoosh happened. I opened my eyes to see the guy with the sword toppled over to the side. Two other people stood in front of me. They wore the type off shinobi clothing I saw before in Konoha. Some elite force called ANBU; they wore masks to hide their identity. The saved me! They saved my ass!
