"Hi." Rose gives a small wave as she and Damon walk toward Jeremy's table. Despite her somewhat relaxed demeanor, she was cautious. It was true that Jeremy's warning had probably saved her and Damon last night, but she was wary of handing out favors, especially to the little brother of the latest doppelgänger.

Half an hour ago, Jeremy and Sigrid had walked to the Grill together, the latter happily chattering about her human years and the former politely nodding along, enjoying the girl's company.

Damon rolls his eyes and plops himself down on the seat opposite Jeremy. He nods in greeting at Alaric, who was seated at the bad. The man would undoubtedly inquire about his meeting later. "We're here, now spill."

"You should mind your manners, young man." Sigrid grumbles, face scrunching up.

The woman ignores Damon's snappy comment and offers her hand to the boy. "I'm Rose."

"I know, I'm Jeremy."

Rose smiles kindly as she takes the seat beside Damon. She scans the half-empty bar as if expecting the reason for this meeting to approach them any second.

"Yeah, great. Everyone knows each other. Now tell me why you were being so very vague and weird last night." Damon grumbles, eyes meeting a waiter.

Jeremy waits until Damon had placed his order, ignoring Sigrid, who was busy dragging her hands down her face in an exasperated manner, before replying. "I met someone last night-"

"Oh god, no sappy love stories anymore, please." Damon groans, hands covering his face dramatically, unintentionally copying Sigrid.

Jeremy grimaces, unamused.

"Will you shut up for five seconds?" Rose snaps, shoving Damon's shoulder. She had put up with Damon long enough to know that the vampire should really learn when to keep his mouth shut.

"Fine." Damon huffs.

"Her name is Sigrid, and she's a ghost." Jeremy starts, hesitating a little upon seeing Rose's frown and Damon's skeptical look. "A spirit, if you will. And she can help us with the Klaus problem."

"You should stop calling him a problem, he's really sweet once you get to know him." Sigrid mumbles.

Jeremy shoots her an incredulous look while wondering if the girl was a good judge of character, as far as he knew, after all, the man wanted to kill his sister.

"A ghost?" Damon repeats, pulling an unintelligent expression. He had to deal with a lot of weird stuff these past years, there was no need to add to this in his opinion.

"Yes." Jeremy deadpans. Really, even he had less problem with processing this, and he was a human.

"A ghost wants to help us? Sure, let me just pop out my Ouija board to get a briefing. I'm sorry, but do I look like a fucking ghostbuster?"

"No, you do not." Rose replies dryly before looking at Jeremy. "Is she here?"

"Yes."

Sigrid waves at the two vampires.

"I don't think that's going to work." Jeremy whispers, ignoring Damon's unimpressed look.

"Ah, right you are." Sigrid mumbles, cheeks heating, hand dropping onto her lap.

"How old are you, Sigrid?" Rose asks politely, gaze hovering to Jeremy's left, unsure if she was looking at Sigrid or empty space. She tried to picture a face with the name but came up short

"Oh, one should never ask a lady's age, especially seeing as this lady doesn't exactly know herself." Sigrid jokes, grateful for Rose's thoughtful attempt to make eye contact.

"She's over a thousand years old." Jeremy supplies, recalling her answer from their first encounter. "But she looks around 17 or 18 I think?" He adds after realizing that both vampires must picture an ancient creature instead of the lively girl seated beside him.

"Before this turns into a first date, how can a ghost possibly help us?" Damon grinds out.

Jeremy shrugs. "She knows things, about Klaus."

"Fantastic! A walking-talking Klaus Wikipedia, just what we needed. Do tell, what makes this ghost so reliable and made her demand a meeting with Rose, of all people?!" Damon hisses before realizing his crude words. "No offense to you, Rose." He mutters, hand patting the woman's arm, before realizing it looked dumb, and retreated his hand just as quickly.

"Sure, offend the one person that's on your side that actually knows the Originals personally." Sigrid rolls her eyes. She seemed to be doing often when in Damon's presence. Sigrid hadn't forgotten about the oath she had taken last night, she would kick Damon's ass as soon as she was able to. Instead, she now kicks her foot at the vampire's legs, shoulders slumping when no reaction is given.

"She knows Rose." Jeremy says, leaving out the sassy parts. Despite wanting to see Damon's reaction, he knew it would only slow matters down.

Rose frowns a little while trying to avoid Damon's confused and accusing gaze. "I don't-"

"No, you've never met her, but she has seen a great part of your life, including the way you sheltered the doppelgänger, Katherine." Jeremy summarizes, believing it's best to give some context.

"Do you have proof of this? Or do we start believing everyone's word now?" Damon snipes.

"Your paranoia rivals Nik's." Sigrid chuckles before snapping back to the topic at hand.

"You and Trevor stayed in this lovely beach motel a few decades ago. He kept complaining about wanting to swim, and you were busy trying to contact someone for daylight rings, only to shut Trevor up." Sigrid smiles to herself.

The two vampires had argued much as siblings would. There had been plenty of such disputes amongst the Mikaelsons, luckily most of those had been easily solved with a hug from her and some encouraging and calming words from either her or Finn.

Damon scowls when Jeremy finally vocalizes Sigrid's response. "Stop messing around." He warns when he sees Rose's stricken expression. He wouldn't let Jeremy upset the vampire.

"No, he's telling the truth." Rose counters, eyes widened slightly in shock. She was a little weirded out by the idea of having someone living amongst her without her knowing.

"How would you know about Klaus?" Damon aims his words directly at Sigrid, feeling incredibly silly for it, while his eyes scan the room as if hoping to catch a glimpse of this ghost.

Sigrid wiggles a little on her seat until she's directly in Damon's line of sight. Besides Jeremy, this was the closest thing she had to a real interaction. "Because he was my husband."
