And so he cried, he cried so deeply that it ricocheted through his soul;a heart wrenching, sorrow filled cry that
seemed impossible to ignore.
Yet it was. A heart so wearied, a soul so shattered; it seemed that such humanity could not possibly be. Yet it was.
The fever had spread quickly, ever so quickly. Not even in the dimming light of dusk, did this boy stop his ever eternal cry.
His Dragon was gone, he was gone forever; so what could the boy ever do?
Tears flowed from the boy's depressed green eyes; the spark in his eyes was gone; destroyed.
His Dragon was passing through; a grey-blue haze that once shimmered with life was disappearing, just like the boy himself.
Who could have thought that his Dragon could have been affected so? Who could have known? Yet it did.
The greatest healers were incapable of healing him; couldn't have stopped this disease;
this rushing illness that wiped out so many, in so little time.
His Dragon had always told him that blood was important; boasting pridefully of his blood;
he seemed to have no fear in the world; as if nothing could stop him. Foolishly, he thought this.
Yet this was not so.
Yet in the end, it was his downfall.
And now?
It was this boy's downfall too.
