The connection was weak at first, and it would take a few minutes for the screens to load. He'd probably have some biting comment about that, even though the same thing was happening on his end, too. Seto fidgeted and adjusted the web cam just so for the umpteenth time. Nervous? No, of course not, and none would register in his tone or on his face once they began talking.

So there was still some animosity between them for various reasons, including events years past. The bitter rivalry. The humiliation. They hadn't seen each other since the Grand Prix, and after starting to patch things up with his younger brother, he had left quickly and without a word. And it's not like Seto was one to easily forgive, either.

They had had no reason to talk, and since Seto hadn't had any business in Europe in quite some time, he had no reason to drop by. In fact, had he even ever been to Germany? Probably once or twice. Being half a world apart didn't help their lack of communication. Distance makes the heart grow fonder, does it not? To Seto, that was complete bull, and the teen suspected that he probably thought so, too.

What would they talk about, anyway? Neither of them were going to apologize for anything, even if they regretted some of it—something doubtful. There was no business to discuss. And any move toward something even the least bit friendly was bound to make it look like he'd gone soft. Perhaps family life. Dueling. Games in-general. Didn't he have an affinity for chess as well? Maybe not, and he was just imagining it. It had been a while since they had talked about trivial things such as that. Seto at a loss for words. This was liable to become embarrassing.

He was going to be in for a shock, whatever the case. Unless he already knew it was Seto. He always did seem to know everything. Catching him off guard was probably a rarity. The CEO wouldn't be surprised if he just disconnected the moment his face popped up on the screen. Why he would listen to Seto of all people…well, it didn't seem likely, in any case.

He absent-mindedly wondered if he'd interrupted anything, like a bath or some kind of meeting just for a personal call about nothing. Wouldn't that be amusing? What time was it over there, anyway? More than a few hours, that was for sure. Well, he'd find out in just a few moments.

Up popped the image of a rather surprised looking rival CEO. Seto suppressed a smirk. "Good evening, Siegfried."
