Summary: The one time Cordelia felt love for Jesse.
Setting: The harvest. Jesse is a Vampire.
Jesse stood and watched Cordelia move in time to the music. She was looking good. She was sending out vibes they were oozing out of her like a ray of light through dark threatening clouds. Jesse wanted her he needed her. The song ended. Cordelia moved away from the dance floor. He glided quickly but gracefully to stop her. They stood face to face he looked intensely into her eyes, into her soul.
Cordelia looked at him he looked different, more confident perhaps, he didn't look half bad. He grabbed her hand and led her back to the middle of the floor. Cordelia panicked, she felt flustered, no guy had ever controlled her like this. She tried to wriggle her hand free it was a half attempt, she didn't want him to let go. She let him drag her to the centre of the dance floor she felt captivated by his gaze. He pulled her close. Cordelia's stomach erupted in butterflies as he slid his hand around to the small of her back. She felt tingles shoot up and down her spine. Her legs felt like jelly, he was supporting her. They swayed gently to the music. Jesse was deep in thought, why hadn't he been more direct more confident, he could sense she wanted him. This thought was soon overcome by the growing desire to feed; he could feel Cordelia's blood pulsating through her body. He couldn't control it any longer, he wanted her soul. The song ended abruptly. Cordelia pulled away and turned her attention to the stage she was angered that her dance had been interrupted, she wanted to sway in Jesse's arms all night, he had a hold over her, he definitely had potential. Jesse's face transformed, his demonic visage distorted his once kind eyes. Cordelia turned to Jesse to give him a smile. The feeling of love drained from her she was filled with utter fear. Their moment had passed, gone forever.
She'll never truly it to anyone not even herself that she had felt a strong connection to Jesse at that moment. It was a moment that could have changed her life; it was a moment of pure love. But now that moment was gone
