A/N: I apologize in advance for the horrific terribleness of this poem. I wrote it in like 5 minutes.
Lavender's Lament
He says he loves me
He says he needs me
But in his eyes I can see its all lies
He's playing me for a fool.
I don't want to admit it,
But it's clear his heart ain't in it.
This relationship will be over soon.
Besides his love what does she have that I don't?
It must be the books 'cuz it's certainly not looks.
It's time to face the music,
I was just a ploy to get her attention,
A useful diversion, a temporary fling.
Flower petals may tell me he loves me,
But it's oh so clear he loves me not.
