Beauty; Paraphrased
She had followed him for a day- no two days- no three days, watching him. Waiting for the right moment. He hadn't noticed her- or had chosen to ignore her presence.

It would be so easy to chop of his head.

But she didn't. She waited. She watched. She stalked.

After the fifth day, he turned to her calmly.

Such a beautiful face, she would be so happy to add him to her collection.

And the hair! Long and dark…so perfect.

"Oni," he said flatly, her step faltered and she nearly fell from the tree.

"Oh…so you did know I was there?" she laughed.

He narrowed his eyes. Red eyes. Just a perfect as the rest of him. "What do you take me for, woman?"

"So you are a demon! I was beginning to think you were a human. But your face is far too fine to belong to a human; I realize that now…" she added.

He looked at her with a bored stare. "What is it you want?"

She smirked devilishly. "Your head, to add to my collection. You shouldn't ask silly questions."

"I'm afraid my head isn't for the taking- leave me alone."

"Who are you?" she asked curiously, swinging down from the branch where she had been sitting.

"They call me Naraku."

"Well, Naraku- I'm Sakasagumi no Yura. But…you don't really need a reason to know that- I'll have your head soon enough!" she laughed, tightening the hairs in her hands so that a long black hair went after the tall demon.

He blocked her attack easily.

"Oh…you are strong."

"I thought I already explained that."

She glared. "I should have known. You're too perfect to be weak."

He walked away without another word. She pouted.

'Well- I suppose the good-looking ones aren't prone to hang around. Damn. And his hair was so nice too.'
