Pansy gave a sudden gasp. She was bewildered not understanding where she was but she noticed many things odd.
She saw Harry standing before her dress like in their wedding day. The bizarre thing was that she was also dressed in a white dress. The same wedding dress she wore on their wedding day.
She looked around and saw the many guests but then she saw them. Her dad was okay not the version of himself bedridden and her sweet mother did not look haggard with the world on top of her shoulders more so when her father's health was declining. She wanted to go to them hug them and make sure it wasn't a mirage of her imagination.
Pansy then saw her best friend Draco happy and sitting next to a very much alive Astoria Malfoy.
Then, Daphne her sister in all but in blood next to her as her maid of honor. She was the first one to tell her to move on from Harry but instead of listening to her. She pushed her out of her life.
Pansy made eye contact with the very person who Harry and she were arguing about before her death. Gabrielle Delacour. She wanted to bitterly laugh at the gall of her attending but also wearing white on what supposed to be her wedding day.
She knew Harry and Gabrielle were in a relationship at this very instant. Regardless of his playboy ways he always returns to Gabrielle until their seventh year of marriage he stopped sleeping with other women except with Gabrielle. Only Gabrielle occupied his heart.
She didn't linger too much on her thoughts in the past.
The ceremony official nods his head, "Pansy Marcella Parkinson do you accept to marry Harry James Potter ?" He takes a small step back.
"No," she said without a hesitation looking at Harry as if a heavy weight has lifted off her shoulders. Another time she would've laughed at Harry's expression of shock. The first time in her ten years of marriage to him, she has seen a different expression on the face of her former husband. She needed to leave from this sham so called wedding.
She walks down the altar only to walk up to Gabrielle and gives her the bouquet of white and red roses to her.
"He's all yours." She calmly says to her leaving Gabrielle's eyes to widen in shock.
Never thinking the Veela be exposed in such way of her relationship with Harry in front of everyone including leaving her parents aghast of knowing their daughter is the other woman within the relationship.
Leaving many guests to talk about why she didn't go through the wedding was because of the groom's infidelity with Fleur Weasley's younger sister Gabrielle.
She stepped back from the veela and decided to walk down in the aisle and took off her veil, clumsily took off her shoes and ignoring the cries of her family and guests. Since she couldn't run well in her dress she decided to rip it off and be in her lingerie and sprint out off the property.
Once, she was far away from the property line she apparated away.
Pansy found herself at the beach. The only place she felt at peace for the very first time.
She did it! She didn't tie herself once more in that loveless marriage.
She breathed in and exhaled out. She felt calm like the ocean waves. She didn't want to go back to her reality but eventually she will have to face everyone but not right now. Now, she genuinely smiled at her freedom at her second chance at life.
Technically, her future self did die with the baby.
Now, she has said the big words. NO.
