John wasn't worried about his visit with the shrink. It would be a battle of wits, and in such a skirmish he was heavily armed. He'd been crushing enemies since his youth; poor woman didn't stand a chance. Any fool knew she'd go after his sex life, so he'd make jokes about it, if that didn't work he'd let her talk. Shrinks loved to hear their own voices. Her comments about his ex-wives all being beautiful, but spoiled and none his intellectual equal, scored a blow to his ego, but he let it pass. But he'd had to abandon the battlefield when she'd been able to skewer him with the truth. He had abandoned relationships, but did still believe in true love, and therein lie his Achilles heel.
