"Here. Take some of this food to those who are helping. They need to keep their strength up." Trisha said as she handed some food out. She's trying her best to help those in the shelter, but it wasn't easy. She's pushing her body pretty good like her son would do. Seeing his mother like that, Paul hurried over to her.

"Mom, stop for a minute." Paul said. "You need to be able to rest yourself."

"This coming from my boy who is out saving the city and doesn't seem to be stopping. Honestly, you're probably covered in bruises underneath all your clothes." Trisha pointed out as she kept working. "I'm honestly surprised you can even stand here and talk to me."

"That's different. I'm saving the entire city, you're just running this shelter with you having a lot of help. Plus, I'm younger." Paul said. When he brought up her age, Trisha glared right at him. Age is something you should be careful with women. "Sorry."

"Paul, I'm fine. Besides, these people need help. Just like you, I don't have time to worry about myself." Trisha said. The apple surely doesn't fall far from the tree. However, Trisha looked like she was about faint, but Paul grabbed a hold of her.

"That's it. You need to at least sit down." Paul said as he moved her to sit down. "Could you at least take a break and eat something yourself?"

"Paul, I appreciate how concern you are, but I can handle myself." Trisha assured, but Paul wasn't so sure about that. "If you want something to be concerned about someone, be concerned about your brother. I haven't seen him and I don't know where he is."

"I'm sure he's around here somewhere." Paul said. "Look, just help yourself to some food and get a little rest. You've got plenty of helpers here."

"Oh please. You might be younger, but I still got some fight in these bones of mine." Trisha joked, but instantly regretted it. "Oh my gosh. I just sounded like an old lady. I can't be that old." Paul just laughed it off and walked away, but he looked back and was rather concerned about her. Paul went back and found Monica while she was helping people.

"Hey, got a minute?" Paul said.

"Sure. What's up?" Monica said.

"It's my mother." Paul said as he pulled her aside to talk in private. "I'm concerned she's pushing herself too hard."

"You would know about that." Monica teased as he does that to himself all the time.

"Not now. I'm just a little worried she's in a worst state than she's really putting on." Paul claimed as he can just feel that there's something not right with his mother.

"I'm sure she's fine. She's a tough woman." Monica assured.

"By the way, do you know where Marcus is?" Paul asked. "She's a little concerned that he hasn't been around."

"No. In fact, I haven't seen him myself for a while." Monica said.

"I think I know where he is." They both looked and saw that Jean was stepping in and she seemed rather concerned herself. "I told Marcus that we're running low on medicine around here. I think he might have gone to the harbor to try and find a shipment of supplies that came in."

"What?!" Paul said as he didn't like that.

"What's the problem with that? The city has been cut off. Shipments through boats are really the only way supplies can get in now." Monica said.

"The problem is that Sable International has taken over the harbor. They decide what gets in and out." Jean said. "In truth, the only supplies that might be coming in is from their business. Food, supplies, and even medicine. Not really sure if that was a good idea. If they see Marcus there, they could use hostile force on him."

"That's not the only thing." Paul said. "When my team and I found Hydra's little hideout, we saw his plan. He set Fang to attack the harbor. If that wildcat gets his claws on my brother, he'll tear Marcus to shreds."

"Are you sure Fang is down there? It could just be another trick like Iguana did with the reservoir." Monica said as she was hoping for the best.

"Hang on." Paul said as he had to check something with him calling Ray.

"Hey. Tell me you're calling because you have good news?" Ray said.

"Not quite. Remember that I told you Hydra's little plan? Do you know if Fang actually attacked the harbor?" Paul asked.

"Yeah. He attacked a few areas. We found his claw marks to prove it." Ray said. That was something Paul didn't want to hear. "It looks like Fang is trying to ruin some supplies from getting in. Why? What's going on?"

"Nothing I won't handle." Paul said and ended the call before Ray could say anything. "Damn! If Fang is there, Marcus is a goner!"

"Why would he go somewhere so dangerous on his own?!" Monica said.

"I think I know why." Paul said. "He's been bothered by the fact that I'm Spider-Man for a long time. He's claims it's not easy being my brother because he can't tell people who I am, but at the same time it makes him feel insecure. That's one of the reasons he left New York for school."

"Quick! Call him and tell him to get back here! It might not be too late!" Jean said. Paul quickly called Marcus and hoped for the best.

"Come on, Marcus. Answer. Don't make me worry about you too." Paul said as something bad happening to his brother was the last thing he needed. Marcus wasn't answering and that wasn't a good sign. "Damn! He's not picking up! Jean, do you know where in the harbor he could have gone?"

"I could try tracking his cell." Jean suggested.

"Do it and let me know where he is. I've got to get down there before it's too late." Paul said as he hurried out of there. If something happens to his brother, Paul will never forgive himself.

...

Marcus

Marcus' phone was went off, but he quickly silenced it. He was in the lion's den as he was down by the harbor. There sable agents everywhere, but he needed to get the medicine the people needed.

"Let's see... There's got to be something Jean's looking for here." Marcus said as he was trying to be brave. He took a look and saw agents had some supplies. The only way he's going to get them is if he can swipe them without being caught. He's putting himself in some serious danger.

"Any sign of that troublesome spider? He's constantly getting in the way."

"Nothing yet, but I can't wait until we're rid of him and his friends." Marcus overheard them talking about his brother.

"I can relate to him being annoying, but I certainly don't want him dead." Marcus whispered. He looked around and tried to find what he needed, but none of them were it. He kept searching until he accidentally stepped on broken glass. "Who leaves broken glass lying around like that?"

"Did you hear something?"

"It came from over there." Two of the agents were going to find Marcus and once they do, he is in a lot of trouble. He didn't see a way out without getting shot.

"Hold it! Gives us the food!" Marcus was surprisingly saved by a couple escaped criminals with weapons. When the agents looked away and that allowed Marcus to run for it. He did look back and saw the criminals were armed. "Give us the food right now or..." The agents didn't give them a chance to fight or anything as they just shot the two criminals dead. Marcus couldn't believe what he just saw.

"Aren't you suppose to tell them stop before shooting?" Marcus said as he was a little freaked by all of it. "I better find that medicine and get out of here." Marcus moved as fast as he could. He daringly searched through some of Sable International's supplies to find the medicine he was looking for. "Where are they?" He had to hurry and get out of there before he gets caught. It also didn't help that he heard shots being fired. All the more reason he had to get out before it was too late. "Please let this be it!" He opened up another case and it held what he needed. "Yes! Now to get out of here!" He grabbed the case and was ready to go. Suddenly...

"Move!" Marcus heard something happening around the corner. He looked and saw two agents fighting off Fang, but Fang was much faster and stronger. He took a car and flipped it around. The car bounced against the ground until it smashed into the two and had them pinned to the wall. Fang acted quickly and pressed down on the car to keep them trapped.

"Your supply routes and schedules! Now!" Fang demanded. He kept them down, but they wouldn't talk. That was right when Iguana jumped down on the car.

"That's not a nice way to ask." Iguana said as he slithered around on the car like the reptile he is. "Gentleman, I'm sorry about my partner. He can be rather impatient. He lacks the art of...persuasion." That was right when he slashed right at the neck at one of the agents and scared Marcus so badly that he fell on his butt. That was the first time he ever saw something so graphic.

"Wish I didn't see that." Marcus said as he knows he needs to get out of there now. He looked around and saw a way for him to escape over some freights. Marcus hurried as fast as he could with the case of medicine. He climbed over a crate and over the freight, but he ended up knocking a tool box over in doing so. That alerted Fang and Iguana of his presence.

"What was that?" Fang questioned.

"I think we have a little mouse. Be a good kitty and go chase it." Iguana said.

"Don't patronize me!" Fang shouted. "The only reason I'm here is because Hydra said he could help me get back to where I belong: on top and away from you common scum." Fang wasn't much of a team player, but it sounds like he's desperate. As for Marcus, he had to move fast and look for a way out.

"There's got to be..." Marcus looked around until he saw an open vent in the ground. When he went to have a look, he saw there was a tunnel that ran underneath. He dived inside just when Fang showed up and he caught a glimpse of him escaping.

"You won't getaway so easily, little rat!" Fang called as he chased after Marcus, but he was too big to fit inside. Seeing Fang trying to get him, Marcus stepped on it.

"Got to get out of here! Got to get out of here!" Marcus kept telling himself as he kept running for it. He soon reached the end and saw he needed to climb out.

"Where are you?! Get out here!" He could hear Fang was just above him and was tearing through the place. Marcus knew he had to stay quiet. As he heard Fang move farther and farther away, he saw his chance as he climbed out. Once he was out, Marcus tried climbing over some freights again and tried getting out of there. However, Fang caught a whiff of his scent. "I smell you!" Fang call as he hurried after Marcus! He jumped up the freights and saw Marcus going around the corner. Fang chased after him. When Fang made it to the corner, he saw boxes and crates everywhere. "You can't hide!" He tore through the boxes and crates to try and find him while Marcus kept his head down and kept moving.

"I need something to distract him." Marcus said as he tried to think of what he was going to do. He looked and saw Fang was turned away from him. That gave him a chance. He grabbed a box he could lift and gave it a good throw on the other side. The sound alerted Fang.

"There you are!" Fang pounced like a tiger and tore through the boxes. That gave Marcus the chance to run out of there. When he made it to another freight, he ducked behind it.

"Where's the way out?" Marcus looked around, but he didn't see the exit and he has a craze humanoid tiger chasing him. He was breathing like he was having a panic attack for he didn't know what to do or where to go. "What was I thinking? I'm not my brother. How could I think that I..." Marcus thought there was no hope for him now until he spotted something. There was an open freight that goes over the wall. "Yes! Thank you, God!" Marcus took the chance and ran to his only way out. As he climbed up, Fang landed down right in front of him, but he still didn't see him.

"Where are you?!" Fang shouted as he was getting annoyed. He jumped off and kept searching, but just missed Marcus. Marcus hurried up and ran right through the freight. Once he made it through the metal box, he jumped out and was safe now.

"Fang!" Iguana called. "Quit playing around! We got more agents coming!" Marcus heard him and heard Fang followed after him. He finally had a chance to catch his breath as he managed to escape with the medicine.

"Oh man... I feel like my heart is about to burst." Marcus said. He was glad he got out, but he was just lucky. His brother would have had more than just luck, and maybe would have tried to save the people that got killed, even if they were the bad guys. Thinking he wasn't all that except luck, he was leaving with the medicine.

"Help!" Marcus did hear someone call for help. He looked and saw one of the escaped convicts was being mugged by an escaped criminal and was thrown against the wall. He thought about just running again, but he didn't.

"Give me all the money you have!" The criminal demanded as he held a knife and was ready to kill the poor man for the money. It seemed like he was a goner until Marcus snuck up on him and smashed the case against the back of the guy's head and actually knocked him out. Marcus was surprised himself that he actually managed to do that.

"You better get out of here." Marcus told the man.

"Yeah. Thanks a lot, man. You saved my life." The man claimed before he ran out of there. Hearing him say that changed how Marcus saw things. That was something more like his brother would do, and Marcus just did it without any special powers. As he stood proud of what he just did, he was feeling really good about himself. Maybe there's a hero, or at the very least something special, in him after all.
