After rescuing Monica and Jean from Silvio Industries, they made it back to the shelter. They landed down with Paul a little sore from carrying two people like that. Wishing there was time to talk about it, there isn't.

"So, you know about your mother?" Monica said.

"I do." Paul said as he was rather scared and couldn't believe it. "I knew it. I knew there was something wrong! She caught the virus and she's not looking well! Now, she's in there and could die and I can't do anything about it!"

"Paul, calm down! It will all be fine." Jean said. "There's still a chance to save her. We overheard Christoph Silvio talking. There is a cure out there! He's on his way to check on it right now!"

"It's at Oscorp! He's working with the people there and trying to make it!" Monica said. That actually did sound like good news to Paul. The antidote is the one chance the city has. It could be the only chance his mother has.

"Sounds like we finally have a chance to end this." They all looked and saw Venom and Blite coming in as they landed down.

"Thomas came and got me. They told me what was going on." Lindsay said as she walked over to Paul. "We're going to save your mother. It sounds like we know where the cure is, so let's go get it."

"But what if it's not done yet. What if it doesn't work?" Paul said as he mind was scrambling on this matter.

"Either way, we have to go." Thomas said. "Hydra will find out about the cure. He and Balancer are surely going to get their hands on it and destroy all traces of it. We need to get over there and make sure the cure is protected."

"Most of the escape convicts have been caught in the first place. The police can handle whoever is left." Lindsay said. "The only ones we really have left to worry about are Hydra and Balancer. We have a chance to put an end to all of this. We need to take it." Paul could see that she's right. They have to make sure the cure is safe until it's able to save everyone.

"Monica and Jean, thank you for putting your lives at risk for getting us that info, but don't ever do it again. We're heading to Oscorp." Paul said.

"Be careful out there." Monica said. With Thomas grabbing a hold of Lindsay, the three of them went out to save the city.

...

The Team

Paul and his friends moved as fast as they could to Oscorp. Who would have thought that it would be there at all places after everything that went on with Oscorp in all these years, tracing back to the original Spider-Man. The three of them moved as fast as they could. With his mother's life at risk, Paul was pushing himself. He nearly failed her once, he can't let that happen again.

"Spider, calm down! Wait for us!" Thomas called.

"There's no time!" Paul said.

"We know, but it won't do any good if you're tired and winded before we get there!" Lindsay said. "Maybe Hydra doesn't know about it yet! We still have a chance!"

"I know, which is why I'm hurrying! I'm making sure we don't lose it!" Paul said. "I also contacted Ray and Sabella about what's happening. Hopefully, we'll get a little help."

"Even if we don't, you still have us!" Thomas called. When he said that, it had Paul doing some thinking. Ever since he became Spider-Man, life hasn't been easy for him. He originally came into this alone, but he has a team now. That caused Paul to land down on a roof and stop for a moment. The other two landed down to check on him.

"What's wrong now?" Lindsay asked.

"Nothing." Paul said as he turned to them and removed his mask. He wanted them to look at the real him when he said that. "It just feels like we're heading for the biggest battle of our lives. When I became Spider-Man, it was just me and Peter. Then, you two found your own way and have been a big help to me."

"Well, it was a rough start." Thomas said as he showed his real face. "You and I despised each other in the past. The symbiote took over my rage and anger, and I acted like a monster as a result."

"We had a rough start ourselves." Lindsay said. "I was originally part of the Rainbow Gang, tricked by Goldberg. You and I had a great start, found out I was part of a criminal gang, and I had to regain your trust. Then, you gave me a way out. I might not have powers, but you took a chance on me and I've been helping you out."

"Exactly. I just want you guys to know I greatly appreciated how much you guys have helped me." Paul said. "I'm not sure I would have been able to pull this off without you. I'm not sure I would have been able to be Spider-Man on my own."

"Quit getting sappy." Thomas said as he playfully smacked Paul's chest. "You're acting like this is the last time we're going to see each other. This is just another fight that we're gonna win." Paul could agree to that. He's just grateful he's had help, people who have stood by him through all his years as Spider-Man. Sadly, the moment was ruined when they heard an explosion go off.

"What was that?!" Lindsay questioned.

"Oh no!" Paul said as he followed where the smoke was coming from. "That's Oscorp!" The three of them got back into action and hurried over there. They moved as fast as they could to Oscorp. When they got there, they saw that the entrance was blew open and that there were members of Librium all around. "We're too late! Balancer is here, and Hydra can't be that far behind!"

"But we're a lot closer!" Thomas said as he and Lindsay jumped in the action. When the members of Librium spotted them, they wasted no time and started shooting guns at them. Paul made a quick call before he joined in.

"Sabella, we might need a little help. We're at Oscorp, how far away are you?" Paul asked.

"I'll be there, but be on the lookout. My brother and his men are on their way." Sabella said.

"Great. More people to the party." Paul complained before he jumped in and joined in himself. The three of them didn't have a plan, but that didn't stop them. Paul dodged bullets as moved closer to two of them. When he was close enough, he shot a line at each of them. He pulled with all his might so the two of them would crash into each other and he gave them a strong kick.

"Time to make these guys black and white to black and blue." Thomas said as a few of them came at him. One tried to hit him, but Thomas grabbed a hold of him and drove his knee right into him one. He then threw him into another one. Thomas shot a line to pull the guy back and hit him right in the face. As one tried to shoot him, he jumped in the air. He landed behind him, on his hands, got his legs around the guy's head, and flipped so the guy smashes against the ground.

"Over here. Come and get me." Lindsay said as two of them came at him. One tried attacking her, but she avoided his attack and kicked him right in the back. Then, she spun around kicked him at least three times until he ended up falling to the ground. One tried grabbing her from behind, but she ducked down. "Why do they always go for that?" She then just swung her leg right between his legs. That one felt the worst pain.

"Why...?" The guy whimpered as he dropped to the knees.

"If it works, go for it." Lindsay answered with her kicking him under the chin.

"Let's get goin!" Paul said. "Sable International will be here soon and they'll just make things worse." The three of them were about to run inside, but that was when a couple armored vehicles came crashing through.

"Too late..." Thomas complained. It got even worse when they saw three of them having jetpacks. "Jetpacks? Seriously? Cool, but also overkill if you ask me."

"We've had it with you interfering with our plans, Spider-Man. This ends tonight." An agent claimed.

"You've got to be kidding." Paul said as he was getting real annoyed with these guys.

...

Sabella

Sabella was hurrying as fast as she could. She had to get to Oscorp and help Paul and the others out. Knowing her brother is going to get in the way and try to finish them, she tried calling him. She had hope she could reason with him.

"What is it?" Sabastian said when he answered.

"Call off your men against Spider-Man and the others at once." Sabella said.

"Not going to happen." Sabastian said. "Spider-Man and his friends will pay the consequences for standing in our way. Tonight they fall. Any opposition must be eliminated and is our top priority."

"You're wrong! Sabastian, the antidote should be the top priority! This city needs it!" Sabella said.

"I suggest you remember whose side you're suppose to be on and where your place is!" Sabastian said. "Spider-Man dies tonight!" It was obvious there was nothing to discuss with her brother. He's completely unreasonable now.

...

Oscorp

Paul and his friends were trying to fight off Sable International now. Sable International seems to be putting their deaths at a higher priority. The agents just started shooting with the ones flying chasing them around.

"I'll take care of the flying ones!" Paul said as he jumped up and started flying around. As for the others, they did their best against the ones against the ground. Lindsay kicked the gun of one out of his hands. When that happened, she grabbed him by the arm and gave it a good twist with her also giving him a strong kick. One tried attacking her with an electric rod, but she avoided the attacks.

"Mind if I borrow that?" Lindsay said as she twisted his arm as well and took his weapon. She used it against him and gave him a good shock. As for Thomas, he tried fighting a few off, but they soon had him surrounded.

"Stand down! Now!" An agent ordered.

"Okay... You got me." Thomas said as he dropped to his knees and put his hands behind his head. "My friend here thinks differently." He had the symbiote stretched out tentacles and they smacked, coiled, and threw them around. That left Paul fighting the three above as they kept trying to shoot at one. When he swung passed one, he shot a line and it latched on to one of them.

"Get over here!" Paul said as he yanked the guy towards him. When he was close enough, he kept pounding the guy around until he literally knocked him out of the air. When Paul landed down, the other two tried to shoot him, but he kept moving. One tried flying in to get closer, but Paul intercepted him. He shot a web at him to latch on to him. He spun the guy around and caused him to fly right into the last the agent, but that agent pushed him away.

"Is that all you got?" The agent questioned, but he saw he was gone. "Where'd he go?"

"Here!" Paul came from behind and smashed his legs against the jetpack and broke it. That caused the guy to fall to the ground. The one before recovered and came at Paul again, but he didn't get the chance to do anything. Thomas' symbiote grabbed a hold of him and smashed him into the ground. "I had it."

"Sure you did." Thomas mocked.

"Save the jokes. Let's just get that antidote." Lindsay said. The three of them of them hurried and made it in the lobby. "Which way?"

"I say we follow the destruction." Thomas said as he pointed a path that Balancer clearly took.

"Let's go." Paul said, but his spider sense alerted him of danger again. Bullets were sent flying around them. They turned back and saw Sabastian coming at them with him shooting.

"You think he's just upset because you dumped his sister?" Thomas said.

"Doubtful." Paul said as he tried to stop Sabastian. He shot a couple lines at him, but Sabastian jumped right over them and kicked him back. Thomas and Lindsay tried to stop him, but he was able to push them away until he had his guns aimed right at Paul point-blank.

"You assaulted my men, obstruct our work, and cost us millions." Sabastian said.

"Yeah... Look, I..." "No more talk!" Sabastian interrupted. "You die!" The two of them were about to make their move, but another series of bullets went off and forced Sabastian to move away. All of them looked and saw Sabella arrived just in time.

"Sabella! You made it!" Paul said as it was the first time since their break-up that he's been so happy to see her.

"All of you go. I will take care of my brother." Sabella said as she meant business.

"Are you sure?" Paul questioned.

"Go! There's no time!" Sabella demanded. They knew better to argue with her, so the three of them took off. Sabastian was about to shoot them in the back, but Sabella fired a couple warning shots to stop him from doing anything.

"You dare turn against your own flesh and blood?!" Sabastian shouted as he was greatly agitated.

"It still makes me more human than you." Sabella claimed as she's made it clear where she stands. Sabastian has had enough of all the interferences and interruptions. These two have been at odds with each other for a long time, but the time has come to settle. When all that's been said and done, everything ends tonight.
