'It's you, you idiot! Can't you tell! Could you never tell?' She screamed at him, her voice almost snatched away by the howling wind at the top of the hill. It had just started to rain, and the cold drops mingled with the tears that were coursing down her cheeks.

'I never knew! You never said!' He yelled back, inwardly cursing. Could he have said anything more childish? Stood in the rain, he stared at her, watching the girl, her features distorted by…what was it? Pain? Confusion? Hatred?

He took a step closer, and she shook her head, glaring at him, her brown hair and school robes flying out behind her, her pale skin flushed with the exertion of yelling over the roaring of the wind.

'How could I have said? You would never have listened!' Her shoulders sagged, and he resisted the urge to take her in his arms. Meeting his eyes, she stared at him defiantly. 'I can't believe you could never tell. Wasn't it obvious?'

He pushed his long blonde hair out of his eyes, and felt his face working it's way into a fierce scowl.

'No! It wasn't! Are you trying to tell me it wasn't obvious what I felt?'

'No! It bloody wasn't! So tell me!' She screamed, getting aggravated, 'What do you feel?'

They glared at each other, until he looked at the ground, sighing inaudibly, the rain still pelting them. He moved forwards until there was almost no space in between them.

'I can't tell you what I feel.' He murmured, leaning closer to her ear so that she would be able to hear him. He heard her give a disgruntled growl.

'You can't tell me? Fine. Is there any other way that I can find out? Ask someone else?'

'No one knows.'

She put her hands on his chest, and pushed him away from her.

'Then what! What the hell do I do now? Tell me!'

He moved back towards her again.

'I can't tell you!'

'Then why the hell am I here? Why am I wasting my breath!'

Without giving an answer, he stood in front of her, and bent down so that he could capture her lips with his.

A breath caught in the back of her throat, as he pressed himself softly against her. She responded, by winding her arms around his neck, closing her eyes, and kissing him back. He parted his lips slightly, and she followed suit, revelling in the warmth that was ensuing this moment. They broke apart.

'Your wasting your breath…so that I could know that I could do that…' He whispered into her ear. And suddenly it didn't matter that she was almost soaked to the skin, and freezing. His touch was enough to warm her entire body.

Oh god, this was pure weakness she thought, as he enveloped her in his arms. Yes, this is weakness, and she was willing to be the feeblest female who ever lived if she could stay like this forever.

It started with a kiss, was it supposed to end up like this? Oh, it was only a Kiss…It was only a kiss.
