I don't own Home Alone

Enjoy!

It would have been better to be caught by the police than these two was what Kevin thought to himself as Harry and Marv dragged him and his sister away from the hotel and into an ally. Kevin peeked over to his sister and noticed that she was as white as a sheet and he tightened her hand to reassure her that everything was going to be fine. Was he nervous? Of course he was, but he wasn't as scared as his sister. These two bandits were not the brightest and Kevin knew that he would be able to outsmart them once more. Though his only issue was to have Becky to cooperate with him and all she needed was to find her courage through all of this.

"We spent nine months in jail thinking we had the worst luck in the universe," Harry broke the Kevin from his thoughts as they turned a corner, "we were long little buddy."

"And now that we busted out, we're doing fine," Marv jumped into the conversation, "We're not robbing houses anymore but we're robbing toy stores. At midnight tonight, we'll hit Duncan's toy chest. Five floors of cash. Then after that, we'll grab some phony passports and go to Rio-"

"Marv!" Harry yelled over to the other, "you wanna shut up?" Harry hated the fact that his partner couldn't keep his mouth shut about their plans for tonight and it was bad enough that these two kids had to hear all of it.

"What?" Marv asked him, "they're not going to tell anybody...except maybe a fish...or the Undertaker."

Undertaker Becky thought oh God! She felt her breath getting shorter at the thought of that. Were they bluffing or were they serious enough that they would commit such a crime? She couldn't find her voice to say anything or attempt to break free from the tall bandit that was holding her by the back of her coat. She turned her head and looked over to Kevin, trying her best to communicate with her eyes. Her brother looked over to her and what she saw was how calm he looked, and she didn't know whether she should feel relieved or scared.

What are we going to do? she mouthed to her brother.

Don't worry Kevin said to her as they came out of the alley and into the city where people were walking past them, minding their own business.

"I got a gun in my pocket," Harry then said, "you two open your mouth you'll be spittin' gum out of your foreheads."

Great! Becky wanted to scream as she swallowed a lump that formed in her throat. The attempt to yell for help was not going to work without them getting injured or injuring any of the bystanders. She turned her eyes back to her brother.

Kevin looked over to her and he wished that he could throw his arms around her to calm her. In situations like this, it was important to be calm and think smartly. Being in a panic would only make the situation worse and their attempt at escaping was not going to work. The four of them suddenly stopped by a light and waited for the light to change to allow them to walk past the street. As they waited, a plan formulated in Kevin's mind. In front of them was a tall blond woman and seeing that Marv and Harry were distracted with the sights around them, Kevin leaned forward and pinched the woman's backside.

Becky blinked at what her brother just did and looked as the woman turned around and had a look of shock upon her face. Before she could even react, the woman raised a fist and slammed it against Marv's face. It was a punch powerful enough to bring the man to the ground.

"He did it!" Kevin yelled and pointed over to Harry.

"Did what?" Harry snapped but the woman responded with a punch to his face, causing him to join Marv on the ground.

Kevin was just as impressed as Becky was at the potent punch that this woman had. "Thanks," he said to her as both he and Becky made a run towards the park.

"Kevin!" Becky yelled as she caught up to speed with her brother, "that was amazing!"

"Less talking, more running Becky!" Kevin breathed as he quickened his run as much as he could. For sure those two were right after them and he knew how angry they were with what Kevin just did. Now that they were temporarily free, the only place where the bandits would have a tough time finding them was the park. Kevin didn't know if they would be able to hide there for long, but he hoped that it would be just enough to get away from them. He quickly made his way down the stairs and over to a throng of young children.

Keeping as much of his stamina as possible, Kevin got out of the throng of children and then ran towards a carriage. His mind was set on getting safely away that the moment he climbed inside the suitcase that was at the back of the carriage, he suddenly thought of Becky. "Oh no!" he gasped as he slowly raised the lid of the suitcase and peeked outside. His eyes searched from section to section of the part but he didn't see a familiar redhead anywhere. Becky...no he thought as his heart quickened at the thought that he and his sister were split from each other. Now how were they going to get home and how could he have been so careless about her?

Kevin had a lot of energy than Becky couldn't keep up with...and she gave him lots of credit. However, she had trouble keeping up with him but she wasn't going to be the cause of letting her little brother get caught by these two bandits. She watched as her brother had taken down the flight of stairs as quickly as possible and the fact that she had to stop for a second to catch her breath.

"They're over there!" she heard one of the bandits yell over to his partner.

Becky turned her head and noticed that they were getting closer so she took a deep breath and made her way down the stairs as quickly as possible. She didn't know how she was able to get down so quickly without falling on her face. Almost there! she thought as she jumped the last step and took a direction to the left. The thought of running straight into the park and stay there until they were gone was a plan was that insane to go both ways. She could escape from them, but not from the night or they would find her and...she didn't want to think any further than that, especially when one of them threatened them with a gun. Taking a direction to the left, she headed into the park.

On the stairs, Harry and Marv made their way to the bottom and looked at which direction the siblings took. "We should've shot them when we had the chance," Harry breathed out as he kept his eyes open.

Marv looked from one direction to the next until his eyes caught sight of a flash of redhead running away. "There she is!" he yelled as he pointed over to Becky. She didn't have the same speed as the other kid did, so it would be easy for him to catch her.

"Get her and I'll find the other kid," Harry said as both bandits split up.

Marv took off the the left and ran as quickly as he could to catch up with her. He watched as she turned from one direction to the next, where they were almost out of the park and into an empty street that surrounded with nothing but buildings. It wasn't difficult for him to get to her. With his arm extended forward, he snatched the fabric of the coat on her arm and held tightly. Becky let out a yelp as she staggered backward and almost fell to the ground. "Get up kid," Marv said as she tried to stand on her feet that were suddenly starting to feel like jelly after running for so long.

Becky looked from the ground and then over to the bandit as she let out a gasp. Her survival instincts suddenly kicked in as she attempted to break free from him or even attempt to bite his hand to let her go.

Rather than let her bite him, Marv was quick enough to switch hands and hold her by the back of her coat where her attempts were futile. "Don't even think about it," Marv said to her. Hearing a pair of footsteps making its way towards them, Marv then turned around and saw his partner approaching them.

"I couldn't find the bundle of misery," Harry said.

"But look who I have," Marv said as he pulled Becky forward and placed her over to Harry, "she may know where he went."

Becky tried to avoid eye contact with them, but it was difficult since she had Harry were almost the same height and the fact that he got in her eyesight whenever she tried to look elsewhere.

"And if she doesn't?" Harry said as he looked over at Marv, "she's no use to us if she doesn't know where he went." He then turned his attention back over to Becky and looked directly at her. The fact that he caused her discomfort made his realize that they had the upper-hand in all of this. "Which way did he go, little lady?" he asked her. When she didn't answer, Harry rolled his eyes. "C'mon, we ain't got all day!" When she didn't reply, Harry reached inside the pocket of his coat and pulled out the pistol, that he had a hold of ever since they had broken out of jail, and held it over to her.

Becky couldn't bring herself to say anything, let alone scream. She stared at the weapon that threateningly remained in her proximity. "I..." she heard herself say in a low tone of voice, "I..."

"She ain't any use to us," Harry said as he closed the gun on her.

Marv looked from the gun and then over to Harry. "Wait a minute Harry," Marv said, "maybe we can still use her." He continued as Harry looked up at him. "She's the kid's brother! He's gonna be looking for her and next thing you know, he finds us too."

Marv wasn't known for his great ideas, but this was an idea that was good enough to work. Using this girl as bait was enough to lure Kevin towards them and then they would get their revenge in the end. It all depended when Kevin was going to find her but Harry was just going to remain patient enough for this plan to work. "Now you're talkin'," he nodded his head over to Marv, "let's go back to the place. We'll put in her basement...with the rest of the rats."

With that menacing chuckle, Becky knew that there was going to be no way of escape for her. She didn't have the strength to break free from their grips, nor did she have the courage to scream for help without having a fun pointed at her. The only person that was going to look after her now was herself...and she didn't even know how to even do that.
