[ ~ Chapter • Start ~ ]

The first days of Hans Boreas Greyrat being the consort of Elfrieda Boreas Greyrat were not even that close to being normal.

Many definitely thought he would need a lot of time adjusting, yet he casually adjusted after three or more days.

Elfrieda's parents, although they rushed at their decision to marry Hans to Elfrieda they didn't regret it one bit. Especially when days later after they did marry, several complaints from the other noble houses of their similar rank in the form of mails were sent to them.

To be honest, reading them were in fact, very hilarious.

After their first daughter and a boy of Notos Greyrat's lineage- their about to be son-in-law and the one to finally mark the peace between the Notos and the Boreas Greyrats after years of conflict was assassinated before their marriage, they actually became paranoid, and being paranoid was definitely one of the reasons why they actually did that.

"Hans is a strange child." Elfrieda's father commented, slowly chewing on the cooked meat between his teeth.

"We wonder how he was even raised, he literally came back here in tattered and patched clothing that would have suited either royalty or nobility if they weren't tattered and patched."

"He also had a comforting aura that is telling us to trust him. It's strange."

"Not that it matters. He's our son-in-law now."

[ K334, 2nd Month, Seventh Day ]

Hans Orsted, or currently Hans Boreas Greyrat, was walking down the hallways of the Greyrat house mansion to a room.

He was in proper clothing that would suit nobles of his age, as he was on his way to join Elfrieda on her classes. One of them required him to turn his auto-translation magic off so he could actually be more fluent on the Human God Language.

The others were just normal mathematics, etiquette, and other things like learning the Sword God Style from the current Sword King, Rufus Adrenall.

He's bald, muscular, and probably has a lot of years of experience as a Sword King. Thankfully, he's a friendly man.

"Boy, swing harder! Make me feel your strikes!" Rufus yelled, slamming his greatsword that was almost the size of his 7 foot body towards Hans who gladly smirked and swung his own sword with the intent to parry the heavy greatsword.

Hans successfully did, launching Rufus's sword backwards with him being carried along for a few feet.

Rufus's hands trembled, how does one such kid have the physical power to rival a Sword King's? No, it might have been because Rufus was actually holding back.

"Crap... Elfrieda will be angry for this..." Hans sighed out, looking towards his sword that had it's blade dented.

"HANS!"

Oh, there she is.

Hans dodged a kick from Elfrieda who came out of nowhere with a small sidestep, as he had a reason not to show off his actual magic spells he himself made on public until way later when he is "strong enough".

"So? What do you want, my wife?" Hans spoke, casually dodging a few strikes from her.

To be honest, she's kinda slow with her strikes.

"You're...*gasp... becoming LATE TO OUR CLASS!" She yelled towards him before breathing heavily afterwards, clenching her knees.

Rufus, who seemed go remember something, only started to chuckle and gesture that Hans was free to go.

"Ehe...? Maybe we were a little too focused on training..." Hans rubbed the back of his head, before his arm was grabbed.

"Stop apologizing for absolutely nothing! Just come already!" Elfrieda, with her fiery personality, had pulled Hans towards the Boreas Greyrat Estate in a quick dash with the latter following.

While they were dashing towards the said estate mansion, Rufus quickly noticed that Hans's sword wasn't even damaged, at all. Instead, his great sword was damaged.

Rufus rubbed his eyes, he must have been hallucinating a little from the previous strike.

Hans Boreas Greyrat was becoming more terrifying in terms of skill each month, and that was probably the best feeling Rufus had as the noble child definitely has the capability of becoming the next Sword God in years.

After all, he, like Elfrieda, was a prodigy.
