I do not own Harry Potter or the Vampire Diaries

"Ok now would you both mind keeping the volume down so that I can sleep." Lysandra said as she got comfortable before turning to Damon to say, "Oh and can you get those girls back to their respective homes, they are literally creeping me out. Don't even think about eating them though or I will hex you five ways to Sunday so I would advise against that."

"Believe me you do not want to get hexed by her, despite how much she looks like an angel, there is a devil hidden somewhere inside because those hexes are the worst," Stefan said to Damon seriously.

"Relax, those girls will end up in their dorm with headaches, think they blacked out. Business as usual." Damon placated, Lyra nodded at him before she closed her heavy eyes, she was so tired that she fell asleep in moments.

"You actually won't drain the girls right because she won't hesitate with hexing you, the last time she hexed me was horrible." Stefan actually shivered when he remembered that hex, there were literal bats coming out of his nose and it was honestly freaky and painful.

"What did she do?" Damon asked curiously.

"You don't want to know. Now would you answer the question," Stefan said to him pointedly.

"I wasn't lying Stefan. Predictable you didn't pull me over here for a pep talk. Spill it, brother." Damon said as he took another sip of the fire whiskey.

"There was a woman you may have known a few years back named Isobel in North Carolina at Duke." Stefan said hoping Damon would remember something but considering how drunk he was, he didn't hold out too much hope.

"You wanna discuss the women in my past right now? Seriously?" Damon asked him with a raised eyebrow.

"You killed her," Stefan said, if his suspicions were correct then Damon had killed Elena's birth mother.

"What's your point?" Damon asked with a roll of his eyes.

"I just...just wanna know if you remember anything about her," Stefan said needing more information before he tells Elena.

"Oh, it's like a needle in a haystack, Stefan," Damon said, every face was a blur right now.

"Well, think hard. It's important." Stefan said to him in his usual serious manner.

Damon then grasps Stefan's shoulder and whispers in his ear drunkenly, "Nothing is important, not anymore." He claps him on the shoulder and then pulls away and says, "Great chat. I have to go and exploit some women in the name of grief, which I'm sure you understand. "TTFN", said the Tri-Delt. Heh." Damon walks back to the girls as Stefan sighed and left the room.

Damon starts the music up again completely forgetting about Lyra who groans covering her head with the pillow before peeking out from under it. She glares at Damon and throws the pillow at his face which he just managed to catch before it hit him.

"What the bloody hell did I say about keeping the voice down you idiot!" Lysandra said annoyed, there was no point going to sleep now anyway she thought, she just wouldn't be able to considering she was now disturbed not only once but twice, she wasn't going to get any sleep in this house, and unfortunately, right now, she had nowhere else to go.

"You can go upstairs or cast another one of those handy spells of yours," Damon shrugged carelessly.

"There is no point now. I won't be able to go back to sleep." Lyra said throwing the blanket off herself in frustration before she getting off the sofa. She stretched slightly before she went and turned off the blasted music.

"Seriously? I'm going to take a guess here and say that living with Stefan has turned you into a bore," Damon groaned annoyed.

"Not a chance. I'm the life of the party," Lysandra said, and just as she said this the light of the room dimmed, and coloured lights flashed around them as if they were in a disco and with another flick of her wrist, music began to play around them as she said, "If you want to let loose Damon, you've got to do it the right way but I'm not going to let you do anything until those girls are back in their homes safe and sound, compelled and in for a heck of a hangover tomorrow morning."

Damon rolled his eyes but reluctantly agreed, wanting to get back to drinking and dancing his worries away. A few minutes later, Damon was back in front of her having finished compelling the girls after having one last drink and leaving them in the safety of their homes. She smirked at him before to the beat of the karaoke music she put on she began to sing. (Company by Samantha Harvey - You've got to listen to her, she does covers of songs and she has the most beautiful voice)

"I find it hard to sleep

With no one here with me

Just wanted your company," She sang as she danced to the song, being careful of her wound as she did so.

"I'm calling up
Can't say that I'm proud
But you don't need me spelling it out (spellin' it out)
It's getting late, so where are you now?
You know I'm no good when I'm lonely."

Damon smirked at her despite the shock that he felt at her beautiful voice as she sang and danced sensually. His eyes were riveted on her form, he couldn't look away even if he wanted to and why would he? She was the most beautiful girl he's ever seen.

"Are you just going to stand there staring at me like an idiot or are you going to dance with me?" Lysandra asked and he rolled his eyes before he began to dance along with her as she sang the lyrics of the song he's never heard of before.

"This empty space, it keeps me awake
I'm kinda hoping you can relate
Maybe I'll be real glad that you came
Or maybe I'm scared to be lonely

I find it hard to sleep
With no one here with me
Don't need forever
Just wanted your company

And when the morning comes
You always up and run
But I'm not bitter
Just wanted your company

Just wanted your companyJust wanted your companyI pull you in
You push me away
It's always me who begs you to stay
Maybe you're more than comfort to me
Or maybe I'm scared to be lonely

Yeah, I keep thinking 'bout the thing you said
Came from the bottle but it hit the nail right on the head
The two of us, we're probably better off with someone else, yeah
But maybe we're scared to be lonely."

They both had a blast as they danced and drank like crazy, no one to tell them what to do, no worries and nothing holding them back because right now all they could do was drink away the pain and dance as if everything was alright because a broken heart was too much to deal with without the help of the bottle.

A little while later though, they suddenly stopped their dancing and singing when a bright flash of blue lit up the living room. Lysandra recognizing what it was immediately took all the magic down that made the room look like the inside of a club and went towards the patronus.

"Ly you need to come back. We have a problem and I'd rather tell you this in person," was all it said, and that had her sobering up as she sensed the alarm in Dray's voice. She apparated to her room and found her bag before quickly taking out the floo powder she kept with her for safety purposes and apparated back to the living room right in front of the fireplace. She quickly used a spell to enlarge it but before she could step inside it to throw the floo powder in, she was suddenly pulled back by the arm.

"What the hell are you doing?" Damon asked in alarm after having pulled her back from jumping into the fireplace, the fire had only gone out a while ago, it was still hot.

"Look, I'm a witch from a different world that has different methods of communication. This is one of them." Lysandra pushed him off of her before jumping into the fireplace and throwing down the floo powder as she said, "Malfoy Manor!"

Damon stepped back in shock as he watched green flames surround her before she suddenly disappeared. He stood there for a moment in complete shock, first the weird message from another one of those light things, then her trying to jump into a fireplace, only for her to say she was from a different world and now this. This was a method of communication? What, like a phone? Were they suicidal or just resistant to flames? If only that were possible for vampires but then again, it wouldn't be classed as one of their weaknesses if it was.

He honestly didn't know what to do now. Should he tell Stefan? He might understand what the hell was going on and at least then he wouldn't be feeling the urge to find out where she was and if she was ok so he reluctantly dialed his number.

"Damon?" Stefan asked on the other end confused and completely shocked that he had called him.

"Ok so I was with Lysandra and then a weird light thing came and said that she needed to come back because of a situation that the, I'm guessing guy, needed to tell her in person. Then she vanished out of thin air and suddenly appeared a moment later in front of the fireplace. She used a spell to make it bigger than she tried to step into it. I tried to hold her back because the coal was still hot but then she said she was from a different world and that this was a method of communication and then she jumped into it, threw some powder, shouted out Mal something Manor and then there were green flames around her and then she disappeared. I'm calling to ask if that should be a concern." Damon said more than a little drunkenly.

"I'll explain everything later. I need to go," Stefan said hanging up before dialing Lysanfra's number, only for it to go to voicemail. Great, just great. he thought in worry. What the hell had happened now?
