Chapter 21

Harri didn't bother to move away from him, knowing that the other adults had their wands in their hands ready for her to attack Pettigrew again. Instead, Pettigrew made to grab Harri by her neck again, but was intercepted by Snape and Bones, both hitting him with a stunner, meanwhile Shakelbolt shot out a rope to bind him. Pettigrew fell forward with a loud thud and Harri entered the room confidently and stood above him, looking down at him. Harri crossed her arms and poked his sides with her bloodied shoe, and Pettigrew glared at the girl.

"He's rather homely, isn't he?" Harri stated truthfully to no one. Harri turned to look at Snape and saw a ghost of a grin on his face, and amusement lit his black eyes.

Harri turned back to look at Pettigrew and inclined her head to the side and smirked at him, clearly mocking him and viewing him as an inferior.

"You little bitch!" Pettigrew spat at her. Harri let out a delighted childish laugh.

Harri goaded him further so that he could slip up more easily. "Oi, cunt, what does that make you?" Harri paused dramatically waiting for a second before she executed her next like perfectly. "After the pounding you received, that makes you, my little bitch." Harri smiled at him and crouched down to be at a closer eye level to him. The other adults in the room were shocked that the girl could still taunt her attempted killer without fear.

Pettigrew snarled at her and yelled "I should have just taken you and handed you to the Dark Lord myself!" Harri let the smile fall from her face and replaced it with a practiced and skilled fearful expression to the delight of Pettigrew. Snape stepped forward to shield the girl from the truth that he himself had revealed that had gotten her parents killed.

"What do you mean?" Harri let her voice wobble a bit and let herself revert to the scared young girl she used to be so many years ago. Harri scrambled away from Pettigrew and took advantage of Snape's closeness to her and wobbled back against him, letting him catch her trembling form. Harri clutched the sleeve of Snape's robe to support herself.

Pettigrew high on his victory over the girl continued to goad her suffering.

"I am not the scared man everyone thinks I was!" and Harri was shocked that he remembered that part of her torturing. Harri shrugged it off as an innate fear that Pettigrew probably carried with him already.

"It was my Honor to present the Dark Lord with the location of your parents!" Pettigrew claimed triumphantly. Harri was shocked that he had revealed it so easily. If she could really get underneath the skin of people and traumatize them, maybe she should go into the business of torturing people thought Harri humorously and half-jokingly to herself. Pettigrew took Harri's shocked expression as a personal victory for himself after she had humiliated him in front of all of Hogwarts.

The three adults looked shocked at the confession and Pettigrew remembered where he was, and he spluttered and stumbled back on his words.

"I-I mean Sirius thre-threatened me to tell him the location of the Potters" Pettigrew sniveled. But not one adult in that room believed him.

"So anyway, who even is Sirius and this clown?" Harri asked clearing her voice, straightening her posture, and waving lazily at Pettigrew.

"I can give a guess at who he might be." Bones finally answered giving the Potter girl a sorry look for what the next hours are about to bring, and she began informing her of who Sirius is and was.

At 9 o clock sharp, an emergency Wizengamot meeting was assembled. Pettigrew wore shackles and was trembling in his seat to the delight of Harri.

Snape sat in his seat next to her, as they were both witnesses to what Pettigrew had said and done. They were waiting for the meeting to start and Harri was anxious at not knowing what would happen. Would they bring Sirius to the trial? Would they get Sirius to share his side of the story? Harri couldn't just sit idly by without doing anything, and so Harri's leg tapped the floor nervously. Snape looked annoyed to be there for the Dog and was missing class back at Hogwarts that would only increase his workload when he got back.

Harri kept her blood-stained cloth on to make a statement about what Pettigrew had tried to do to her, and Snape knew that she was trying to gather sympathy for her side with her appearance. The only thing Harri cleaned off was the blood from her hands. Half an hour later the chattering increased with impatience and Harri could understand as well, but just as the crowd grew restless the Aurors entered with Sirius Black and Harri couldn't stop the tears that flowed from her eyes down her face mixing in with the dry itchy blood. Finally, he was here in the same room as her, and he was alive! Sirius looked haggard, depressed, and worn out. His hair was no longer the shiny black that it once was in his youth. It was now a matted and dull black. His prisoner jumpsuit looked baggy on him, and his cheeks were hollowed out. His eyes had lost the spark of his youth, and he had heavy bags underneath his eyes that Harri noticed painfully. Harri's silent crying hitched when a dementor followed behind Sirius dangerously close. A dementor was only ever brought in when someone was sure to be Kissed. Harri gripped her wand tighter just in case. If it's for Sirius' sake, Harri would reveal how advance she is no matter the consequences.

Sirius looked around searching for the only person that mattered to him in this world and feeling the gaze of someone on him, he turned, and he was met with his tear-filled goddaughter. Sirius stumbled forward at how much she looked like dear Lily. The only difference he could see was that Harri looked more hardened with experience than Lily ever did. Harri looked like she belonged in battle. Sirius kept his eyes locked with Harri's and he noticed that she was covered in blood, red stains covering her Slytherin house affiliation. But besides that, she looked like she was ready for a fight to break out any second.

Harri watched as Sirius drank in every detail of her for the first time since she was a toddler. Sirius looked like he wanted to burn her image in his memory like if this were the last time he would ever see her. And Harri knew that if it came to a death sentence for Sirius, she would kidnap Sirius, maim, and possibly kill anyone that got in her way and move to another country with him to start new lives as father and daughter.

Sirius finally looked away and took his seat up front in the offender's seat.

"Today is September 4th, 1991. We are here today for the trail of Sirius Black and Peter Pettigrew that was found to still be alive and under the disguise as a rat in his Animagus form." Fudge said importantly,

The courtroom gasped dramatically, and Harri rolled her eyes. They had all clearly seen Pettigrew alive and sitting down before Sirius had even arrived, and now he sat across from Sirius, what are they so surprised about?

Sirius ever the Drama Queen snarled at Pettigrew, "YOU FUCKIN' TRAITOR! THEY TRUSTED YOU, I TRUSTED YOU!" Sirius yelled himself hoarse.

"I didn't do anything!" Pettigrew whimpered. Sirius shook in his chair that bounded him tightly and tried to reach for Pettigrew by kicking out his legs wildly.

"Gentleman! Let's behave like civilized wizards!" Fudge stated, secretly happy that he would appear in the daily profit as a mediator of peace. But Snape knowing Harri a bit better, knew she would not let good press come to on the account of her personal life.

"CIVILIZED?!" Harri shrieked to the shock of everyone there including Sirius.

"THAT DISGRACE OF A WIZARD TRIED TO KILL ME IN FRONT OF ALL OF HOGWARTS!" Harri took a deep breath in, and Sirius was surprised that she was nothing like Lily. Sure, Lily was fiery, but Lily wasn't a roaring dragon out for blood like Harri was. Who had raised the girl? Sirius thought. She had the temper of her late grandmother Dorea Potter nee Black, and his own mother, Walburga Black. She had the temper of a Black women, and a dangerous one at that. Harri continued her rant,

"I was enjoying my breakfast with my friend Millicent Bulstrode, when this deranged bottom feeder put his hands on my neck and tried to END MY BLOODLINE!" Harri's voice went up an octave. Harri skillfully included line theft to get the ire of the purebloods and included the Bulstrode's so that she could sway them to her side more easily and make them realize that their Millie was so close to the madman herself. Harri took her red hair away from her front neck and tied it up, she bared her neck for all to see the angry red and purple marks on her neck.

"I'LL KILL YOU FOR FUCKING TOUCHING HER PETER!" Sirius roared trying more violently to rip the chains off.

"THAT MAN PUT HIS HANDS ON MY NECK AND PHYSICALLY LIFTED ME UP INTO THE AIR TRYING TO FINISH THE WORK OF HIS MASTER!" Harri screeched incensed, joining Sirius's yelling of death threats.

"I'LL KILL YOU MYSELF, YOU USELESS WORM!" and the press would have a field day with the amount of drama that was occurring. Quills furiously wrote down the interaction, and cameras snapped at Harri, Sirius, and Pettigrew. Snape sighed to himself, a migraine threatening to resurface after it had just recently gone away. He just wanted Pettigrew dead for what happened to Lily. Snape had hoped that Pettigrew was given Veritaserum immediately and be done with it so that he could head to the castle and continue with his paperwork, and he loathed that his paperwork was now his safe haven and his way of relaxing and winding down. But Snape knew that he would be there for a while because Potter had just started. Miss Potter was not nearly finished, and he wouldn't try to stop her unless she went down to harm the rat.

"HE TOLD ME THAT IT WAS HIS HONOR TO PRESENT VOLDEMORT WITH MY PARENTS' LOCATION" Harri continued with her rant, and Sirius started up again with his Goddaughter.

"WHEN I GET MY HANDS ON YOU, I SWEAR ILL MAKE IT SLOW!" Sirius yelled and Harri followed up,

"NOT IF I KILL HIM FIRST! I WAS SO CLOSE TO ENDING HIS PATHETIC EXISTENCE, I WAS SO CLOSE!" Harri yelled back. "THIS ISN'T MY BLOOD ON MY CLOTHING, IT'S THE DIRTY BLOOD OF THAT BLOODY WANKER!" causing everyone to look at her in shock and getting an approving and proud smile from Sirius. Sirius was happy to be bonding with Harri at that moment; in a disturbing way, he was happy that he was yelling out death threats with his goddaughter. Sirius felt that it was a good way to bring them closer to each other before he was sentenced to whatever the damned warped system decided. Fudge tried to get order, but no one would listen to him because they were too enthralled with the venting of both Godfather and Granddaughter that were threatening Pettigrew with death threats.

"ORDER!" Amelia Bones finally regained control of the trial. Harri and Sirius calmed down enough and took deep breaths each. Meanwhile, Snape was just watching with amusement in his black eyes at how they tore through the rat but was also disgusted that the Black dog managed to amuse him.

"We will hear both testimonies and then apply Veritaserum to both parties and take a vote afterwards." Amelia stated in a hard voice. Harri and Sirius settled down from where they were seated, and Pettigrew went first with his testimony. Pettigrew apprehensively stated that Sirius was working for you-know-who and Sirius threatened to kill him if he didn't give the location of the Potters, which made Harri snort out in amusement. Amelia had clearly heard his confession earlier on, and this trial was all for show at this point. After Harri had shown them her bruises around her neck, Harri had gathered votes to help Sirius, and had gathered the outrage from the purebloods for her behalf and sent it against Pettigrew. The purebloods will vote against Pettigrew even if they didn't want to help Black, they wanted to help Pettigrew even less.

Sirius had stated that he had convinced James and Lily to use Pettigrew because nobody would believe that a spinless coward would be the Secret Keeper for the Potters, and that had caused Pettigrew and Sirius to get into harsh name calling that Harri took note to use for future reference. Names that included 'toe rag', 'man-whore', 'Virgen rat', 'donkey's balls', and 'used cum-sock' which had Harri cackling after every single one. In the end, Amelia had to regain order and just had both men take Veritaserum.

It came out that Pettigrew has been a death eater since the end of his 6th year in Hogwarts, and that he had sold out the Potters with the promise of getting a fine reward in return. Harri breathed in and out so that she wouldn't go down there and kill him herself. It also came out the Sirius was also a Animagus. Pettigrew admitted to wanting to kill Harri himself and enjoy torturing her before having her beg him to kill her. At that, Harri rolled her eyes, not in the least upset and promised herself to get even with him and break the man once again. Sirius breathed in a couple of times before he could lose his control, and the vote was made.

"All in favor for convicting and imprisoning Peter Pettigrew for 11 years in Azkaban and then have him be Kissed." Not one person voted in favor of Pettigrew and all hands went up, but Pettigrew hoped that no one would vote in favor of Sirius as well.

"All in favor for releasing Sirius Black and compensating him for his unjust time spent in Azkaban." The majority of hands went up and Harri took note to see who didn't want Sirius released. Harri sneered when she saw the Carrows, who were never caught or convicted after joining Voldemort after the first war. Even Lucious, Parkinson, Nott, and other Death Eaters voted in favor for Sirius to maintain appearances. Harri promised to get even with them.

"NO! PLEASE! I WAS FORCED TO JOIN THE DARK LORD!" Pettigrew cried. Pettigrew sobbed and begged for leniency, but his pleas fell to deaf ears.

As for Sirius, he was compensated with 1000 galleons for each year he unjustly spent in Azkaban. They also took out the three years that he should have done for not registering when he became an Animagus. Harri was ready to argue that they were at war and that it was a fair advantage to have but Snape stopped her by throwing a silencing charm at Harri. Harri shot him a venous glare, but let it go. She would get even with him later.

"Sirius Black, on behalf of the entire Wizengamot, we all apologize for not providing you with a trail like the law demands." Amelia Bones stated remorsefully, meanwhile the others were peeved that they were included in a public apology but couldn't dispute it.

Sirius didn't pardon them, but he only nodded at them accepting their apology.

Pettigrew was still sobbing by the time that the shackles were released around Sirius and the Aurors began to escort him out. Sirius stayed stoic as Pettigrew was dragged away to be taken to Azkaban. Multiple pictures were taken as Pettigrew was hysterically crying and refusing to budge until he was stunned and levitated away.

Harri broke the silencing charm on herself and was already out of her seat before she began running towards Sirius.
