The whir of mechanisms backdrop the one-sided conversation the Flash was having with Cyrus as the red-clad young man leads his companion down the hall of personal quarters.

"…and that's how we beat an elder god! Anyways, here's the living quarters!"

He speeds around the corner before stopping in front of a door, flashily flipping a keycard in his hands as he waits for Cyrus to catch up.

As he sees the blue-haired man approaching, he begins to explain the Watchtower's rules, "You can get some food anytime over at the cafeteria just a little down from here, there aren't any set times but…"

Cyrus shoves his chatter to the background as he embroils himself in his thoughts, "So, I am in a whole new world… they don't seem to recognize Pokemon at all as well, how curious…"

He mentally grumbles to Giratina, "Would you at least offer me an explanation..?"

His question, however, goes unanswered as the Flash lightly ribs him to accentuate a quip, "…so don't try and wander off, alright?"

Realizing he has to give a somewhat relevant response to his talkative guide, he grimaces, "Ah, er… yes. Affirmative."

Flash gives him a look of confusion and mild amusement before awkwardly continuing, "Grrreeat! Here's your room's card and come find me if you got any questions. So, uh, catch ya later?"

He speeds off, leaving the blue-haired man with a keycard in hand and more questions than answers.

Cyrus, after a quick examination, swipes the card through the side of the palm reader welded next to the door. With a small beep, the locks hiss open and reveal a fairly milquetoast room.

A bed with a modest bedside table equipped with a lamp. A desk is tucked to the opposite side of the wall with a wheeled chair loosely shoved in its kneehole. All of which have a vaguely futuristic design.

He steps in the room, the doors closing behind him. He drops his Pokeballs on the desk, careful not to let them roll off. Once assuring the capsules' integrity, he situates himself on the bed, letting himself make sense of his situation.

"Foolish of me not to ask them questions.. ngh, no matter, I'll find a way back soon."

He rights himself and looks out the square porthole on the wall between his bed and desk, staring out into space, "After all, between this complicated spacecraft and whatever "magic" the Flash was babbling about earlier, perhaps there is a way to tear the fabric of space in this world…"

"Ever ambitious, Cyrus."

He flinches at the voice that suddenly echoed in his head.

"Giratina… now you reveal yourself?"

"You'd think I'd do it in front of them? They already think you're suspicious enough, whispering to yourself won't help at all."

"If you wanted to help me, you would've just returned me home instead of dropping me off in… wherever this place is."

"Ah, but that wouldn't be any fun, now wouldn't it?" Giratina chuckles, "Besides, it's a miracle you even managed to get a chance to redeem yourself like this after that stunt you pulled."

"Redeem myself? Arceus must be short-sighted if he believes I won't return to my goals once I find a way back." he retorts, but doesn't receive anything back.

He continues to look out the window, observing the slowly rotating planet before him.

"How foreign this new world is." he huffs, "So many ways different yet the same…"

He glares at the planet, shooting it a look of derision as war ridden lands come into view. Even from the distance of space, he could see the barren, burnt earth scorched by war marking the serene blue orb like welts.

"Spirit plagues this world, and with that emotion too… how loathsome." he murmurs, "I wonder… could I extend my vision here?"

"He's kinda creepy." the Flash mumbles as he chews his food.

Green Lantern sits across from him, absentmindedly nodding as he continues, "Uh-huh."

"He was super quiet when I led him to his room, like super quiet. He's like a ghost or something!"

"Lots of people are quiet, besides the guy just got dropped in here without any clue on where he is. You can't fault him for being a little shell-shocked."

"It's not just that. Remember what Supes was talking about when he said he felt "weird" around him? I totally get that now." he shivers, "It's like something's breathing down your neck but you can't really see who. Uuughh…"

"You mean like Batman?"

"Eh… close but, he's wayyy more creepier. Bats' intimidating in a big, shadowy way. He's intimidating in an old, long hallway where you can't see anything at the end kind of way."

"Whatever you say so." Lantern dismisses before standing up to dispose of his scraps.

Flash huffs, following him behind as he swiftly finished the crumbs of his large meal, "C'mon! You gotta believe me."

The two exit the cafe, "Look, from what I can tell he's just a frail old guy who got zapped here somehow. He's a little creepy but he's not a threat."

"Not saying he is but, I totally understand why Bats is so paranoid about him now."

"Batman's always paranoid."

"Yeah, fair. Hey, where are you heading now?"

"I'm going to ask around for any info about this Sinnoh place. The Lanterns and the Guardians might know a thing or two. Might even bring Shayera if I have to ask around in the rougher parts of the universe..."

"Sure, that's why you're bringing her."

Lantern passes a disapproving glance at him only to be met with a sheepish grin from the younger man.

"Ha, too soon?"

"Mhm."
