Captain's log, Stardate: 88217.6

USS Atlantis has received a distress call from an away team on a planet close to the Klingon Border. The situation is considered potentially dangerous, as we are skirting very close to the border & the Klingons could decide to jump us at any moment. For this reason, I have ordered the ship to Red Alert while we attempt the rescue.

Capt. Dalton Mackinnon was pacing the bridge of the Sovereign class ship. He wasn't known for being patient. "Time to destination?" He asked curtly. The helmsman looked at his console & said, "Two minutes, sir." He turned to his tactical officer & said, "Dan, get your team ready. Down, assess, up. I don't want to be hanging around here much longer than we need to."

Dan, the tactical officer nodded, saying, "Aye. We'll not be on the planet long." He then strode to the lift. Dalton rubbed his beard in thought. "What information do we have on this planet?" He asked?

The science officer said, in a confused tone, "Nothing. There's no data on this planet at all in our libraries." MacKinnon's brow furrowed. "That's strange," he said, "What's the makeup of the planet, Sunara?" She had a look at her readings and said, "Class M, lush greenery, 58% of the planet covered in land mass. It reads like Earth. I read a single stone structure on the surface. That's where the stranded team is located."

Dalton nodded, saying, "Send message to Starfleet Command. Tell them that we'll be holding at this planet for a few hours. I want to know why this planet isn't on our charts." Sunara nodded and quickly tapped away on her console.

Amanda started to walk around the structure. It was a rather uneventful three days. They had found various fruiting trees of which they could get food & happened upon a deer-like creature for more food. Joco was laying up against a tree, dozing off when Amanda called to him. "Joco," She called out as she stopped at what looked like the head of the tomb, "can you make this out? It seems particularly faded." Joco got up heavily and approached the tomb. "Alright," he sighed, "where is it?"

She pointed at a crescent moon shape. "This here," she said, "Doesn't look reminiscent of an old earth symbol for the moon?" Sam then approached, asking, "Are you suggesting this tomb belongs to a Terran?" Amanda frowned. "A heavy possibility," she said, "a genetic analysis would need to be done on the body, but I'm not keen on exhuming a long dead person to satiate curiosity. Best we leave her there." She then heard the sound of transporter beams. All three drew phasers automatically as the team of three solidified.

Dan rose his arms up and said, "Hold your fire! Someone call for a cab?" Amanda smiled, ran to Dan & gave him a great hug. "Knight in shining armor! Thought we were going to have to build a house at some point." Dan smiled, saying, "Always on time, I guess. Any injuries?" Joco shook his head. Sam shrugged his shoulders, saying, "A small bout of food poisoning, but Jock could never properly cook anyways." Joco laughed & said, "Shut it."

Dan then said, "Captain Dalton is keeping the Atlantis here for a bit to do a proper investigation of the planet, but we're to see you to the ship." Amanda nodded, got into position as the five others did as well, Dan signaling to beam them up.
