Ch 4 Talking Things Out

"Kopa," Simba began. "Is what Vitani said true? Are you hearing Kion's voice?" Kopa's eyes went wide and he opened his mouth, fully prepared to lie. But he looked over at Kovu, who nodded and mouthed 'trust him'. So Kopa took a deep breath and spoke.

"Yes," the creamy brown lion said. "Its true. I have been hearing Kion's voice and he...well he's been telling me some terrible things. That I'm just like him and my mother. And I'm beginning to think that maybe he's right. Maybe I am like him."

"Kopa I already told you that isn't true," Kovu said with a little force.

"I know that Kovu," Kopa said with a sigh. "But it doesn't make these feelings go away." Kopa let out a sigh and looked back at Simba, who was giving him a concerned look. "King Simba I know you've given me a pass when it came to nearly killing Nuka and Vitani but I don't feel like I deserved that pass."

"Kopa we've been through this before," Simba said. "You were just a cub then. And you realized you were wrong and changed your ways and helped us defeat Nala and Kion. That's why I felt you didn't deserve a punishment."

"Yeah Kop'," Nuka chimed in. "And like me and 'Tani have told you like a million times before we don't blame you for anything that happened to us."

"Well you should!" Kopa shouted, startling Nuka. "I don't deserve forgiveness or acceptance! I don't deserve any of it!"

"Yes you do Kopa!" Kiara cried out, stepping in front of her brother and pulling him close. But Kopa quickly pulled away from his sister and let out a slight growl. "Kopa," Kiara began. But she was cut off by Kopa's snarl.

"Just stop Kiara," Kopa hissed, wiping away the tears that were coming down his face. "Please all of you just stop. Stop caring about me so much. Its useless. I'm a lost cause."

"No!" Jasiri cried out, running over to Kopa and licking his cheek. "You're not a lost cause Kopa! If you were then I wouldn't love you so much!"

"You deserve someone better than me Jasiri," Kopa declared. "I don't belong here. I never have." With that Kopa turned to walk away from the group.

"Hold it right there Kopa," Simba said, stepping in front of the almost two year old lion.

"King Simba please," Kopa said, his voice coming out very soft. "Please just let me go. I...I can't risk hurting anyone or worse."

"Kopa I can't force you to stay," Simba said with a sigh. "You're pretty much a grown lion. But I do wish you would stay. And I think I know of at least one young lioness that wants you to stay." Simba nodded towards Jasiri when he said this part.

"Kopa please don't leave me," Jasiri said, the tears coming down her face. Suddenly the rusty brown lioness let out a sob and ran to Kopa, burying her face in his dark brown mane as she cried.

"C'mon 'Siri please don't cry," Kopa said, licking the top of Jasiri's head.

"I love you Kopa," Jasiri sobbed. "I need you here with me. Please don't leave me like my father left me." By now Jasiri was sobbing.

"Hey I'm not going anywhere," Kopa said. "I'm staying right here alright? Please stop crying."

"Really?" Jasiri asked with a sniffle as she raised her head and wiped away her tears. "You mean that Kopa?"

"Yes I do," Kopa said with a nod. "But you do know that even of I d leave that doesn't mean I'm leaving you. I'll never leave you. You're my number one lioness. Now and forever."

"Oh Kopa," Jasiri said with a smile. "I hope you really mean that. Because I don't know what I'd do if you left me. I love you so much." Jasiri licked Kopa's cheek when she said this part.

"I love you too 'Siri," Kopa said as he too licked Jasiri's cheek.

"Now that that's all settled I think its time we made a little trip to see Rafiki," Kovu said, looking directly at Kopa. "Don't you agree bro?" Kopa opened his mouth, fully prepared to say no. But he looked over at Kiara, who nodded. Then he looked down at Jasiri, who smiled back at him.

"Alright," Kopa said with a sigh. "Lets go." With that Kopa and Kovu headed towards Rafiki's tree with Kiara and Jasiri right behind them.

A little while later the foursome were nearing Rafiki's tree when suddenly Kopa stopped dead in his tracks. "What's wrong Kop'?" Kiara asked, looking at her brother. The brown coated lioness recognized the look on Kopa's face. And that was a look that said he senses danger.

"I think we're being watched," Kopa said as he scanned the area and sniffed the air. Kovu stood beside his half brother as he too sniffed the air.

"I don't see or smell anything out of the ordinary Kop'," Kovu said.

"Yeah," Kopa said after a minute. "I don't either. Sorry guys I guess I'm just being paranoid." With that Kopa began to walk once again with his love and siblings following behind him. Little did he know that his feelings were correct and he was indeed being watched.

"Damn that Kopa," Sharka growled. "He'll pay for not helping us. Its just too bad he wasn't alone. I'd of finished him myself if he was. But that'll have to wait for another time." With that Sharka let out another growl and headed back to the Outlands.

A little while later Sharka was back in the Outlands and she was met by Tama and their mystery ally. "Sharka," Tama said. "Where the Hell have you been?!"

"Don't start with me Tama," Sharka snarled. "I'm in no mood for you shit today!"

"You know better than to talk to me like that!" Tama snarled back. "I'll rip you apart bitch!"

"Try it!" Sharka roared.

"Now ladies lets not fight," the ally said, getting between the two angry lionesses.

"Who the Hell asked you?!" Sharka hissed, glaring at the ally.

"Keep it up and I'm walking away," the ally hissed back. "And I'm taking my friends with me."

"Fine with me," Sharka hissed. "Who needs you anyways?"

"Now Sharka lets not be rude," Tama said. Then she turned towards the ally and said, "I apologize for her behavior. Sharka can be a bit over emotional at time."

"Don't speak for me Tama," Sharka growled. "I'm not a damn child."

"Then stop acting like one," Tama hissed back.

"Whatever Tama," Sharka said, rolling her eyes. Then she turned back towards the ally and said, "Sorry about snapping at you. I saw Kopa earlier and just seeing him with Simba's brats makes my blood boil. But Kopa's been a pain in my ass for years."

"Don't even worry about it," the ally said with a smile. "I'm used to Kopa and his antics. After all I grew up with him. He's practically my brother. But its only a matter of time before we break him and he'll come crawling back and begging for forgiveness. And that ladies will be a glorious day!"

"It will indeed my dear," Tama said, smiling at at ally. "And you and your friends will be greatly rewarded I promise you that."

"We had better," the ally snapped. "I won't have my time wasted."

"And it won't be," Sharka chimed in. "So calm down damn."

"I'll meet back here tomorrow," the ally said. "Until then." With that the ally was gone to gather the rest of their friends and discuss their plan.

A/N well folks once again I'm leaving you all with a cliffie. Sorry not sorry lol. But I do hope you all enjoyed ch 4. Review please.
