Hey readers - I know it's unusual for me to update the story on a day that isn't a Sunday, but I was super busy this weekend and just didn't have the time to get this up yesterday. I still wanted to get this chapter up this week though, which is why I'm posting it now instead : ) But enough about that - how is everyone enjoying Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet? I've really enjoyed the small part of the game I've played so far, and am loving many of the various new Pokemon : )
Anyway, let's move on to the result of the last voting topic. I asked you guys to pick the new Pokemon to be added to Nolan's team, and I can confirm that the winner was... Growlithe! Honestly, I am SO excited about this one. Growlithe and Arcanine are some of my overall favourite Pokemon, so I'm glad I get to use one : ) If any of you guys have a suggestion for a name for him, please leave it in a review : )
I also just want to say thank you to those of you that have supported the story by reviewing, favouriting and following the story. I really appreciate the support so thank you.
Lastly, please remember that Pokemon is not mine, only my OCs are.
I hope you enjoy this chapter : )
Pokemon Emergency - Part 6
The muscles in Nolan's legs were burning in protest as he and Ash tried to manoeuvre the stretcher holding both their partner Pokemon through the makeshift obstacle course that the hospital corridor had been reduced too. Team Rocket had really trashed the place in their pursuit of them after they had first invaded the Pokemon Centre; in fact the whole place was a mess. Chairs had been upended and broken, plant pots smashed and leaking soil all over, and a small trolley had been knocked over, sending dozens of tiny bottles of different medicines spilling in every direction. It was making it a real challenge for the two boys to try and navigate the cluttered expanse of space, and a small part of Nolan wondered if that was the whole point. Maybe Team Rocket had made such a mess on purpose, in an attempt to hinder any chance of escape. He couldn't help but wonder what other tricks the criminal gang might pull in order to get what they desired. He immediately felt a fresh wave of worry wash over him. How were Misty and Nurse Joy? Were they alright? Or had Team Rocket done something terrible to the two of them? Hurt them... or even worse?
Nolan was quick to shake those kind of disturbing thoughts aside. They weren't going to do anyone any good.
Pushing on despite the ever present pain that was building in their lower calves, Nolan and Ash manoeuvred the stretcher around a particularly tricky corner - it was tricky because the turn was partly blocked by an overturned cart holding some cleaning supplies - and almost immediately the two boys found themselves back in the reception area. What they found didn't exactly bode well for them, and caused them both to let out short gasps of horrified surprise.
The place was in utter shambles.
Nolan gasped and looked around at what had previously been a pristine reception of a Pokemon Centre. It looked as though a hurricane had blew through it. The desk where Officer Jenny had driven her motorcycle all the way to just a few hours ago had almost been split in half. It had clearly been smashed apart by Ekans' long thrashing body. The computer that had once been set upon it had been destroyed beyond any chance of repair as well. Wires were sticking out of the cracked computer screen and were sparking erratically. There was no way they could use its video phone feature to call for help, and Nolan doubted that they would make it back to the waiting room in time in order to try the phones there. Checking just in case, Nolan quickly realised that it wasn't even a possibility. The entrance to the corridor leading to said room had been blown apart, and was now completely caved in. Judging by the smelly black and violet sludge coating the rubble, that was Koffing's handiwork. Nolan grimaced, realising that in order to sound the alarm, leaving the centre was their only choice.
Shaking his head as he struggled to absorb the sheer scale of the destruction the criminal gang had caused, Nolan brought the stretcher to a halt before turning to Ash, ready to give the other boy his assessment of the situation.
"We can't stop!" he raven haired boy immediately protested, but Nolan cut over him before he could say anything more.
"We can for a minute" Nolan quickly reassured his best friend, before getting straight to the point, "Now listen, we're not gonna be able to call the police from here, and going back to the waiting room is a no-go".
Ash cast his russet eyes over the destroyed corridor, and nodded his head in agreement.
"Yeah, that definitely ain't happening" he was forced to admit, "So what can we do?! We can't just leave Misty and Nurse Joy here to fend for themselves!"
Nolan paused and rubbed his chin thoughtfully before he replied. He had an idea, but he wasn't sure it was a particularly good one. Still, it was better than doing nothing, and it was the only suggestion he had. He just hoped that Ash would let him finish before totally dismissing the idea.
"No, we can't. One of us needs to stay here and help, whilst the other one goes for help" Nolan said grimly, and Ash immediately looked apprehensive about splitting up again, "And you need to be the one who goes".
He gestured towards the automatic glass doors that had miraculously survived the rest of Team Rocket's destructive rampage. A stray brick had fallen in their path, keeping them from closing properly. They kept opening and closing, or at least trying too, at timed intervals as a result. Ash was immediately dead set against the plan, and had no qualms about letting those feelings be known.
"No" the raven haired boy immediately shook his head in refusal, "No way! There is no way that I'm just gonna go sloping off like a coward and leave you behind as well. Not a chance".
Honestly, Nolan had been expecting such a vehement response from his best friend. Ash was very protective over the people he cared about after all, and he was far too brave and noble for his own good. Still, the blonde boy couldn't deny that it was rather frustrating at a time like this. Now wasn't the time to be stubborn, not with so much riding on the outcome. He scowled darkly at his best friend, who matched it with one of his own.
"There isn't any other choice!" the golden haired boy exclaimed, his tone showing just how exasperated he was that Ash wasn't listening to him, "Now we don't have time to argue about this Ash. You need to be the one to go because you have to get Pikachu away from here. I need to stay because I'm the only one out of the two of us that still has a Pokemon that can help fight off Team Rocket!"
Ash looked as though he had swallowed a lemon as he let those words sink in.
"But don't you see Nolan?" Ash shook his head, dismissing his best friend's logic, "Pikachu is exactly why I have to be the one to stay here!"
Nolan threw him an incredulous look, bewildered by how he had drawn that conclusion. Seeing the other boy's confusion, Ash hastened to explain his line of thinking.
"He's still so weak... even if we do manage to see off Team Rocket, he's still going to need treatment" Ash murmured, looking down at his unconscious partner with a forlorn expression on his face, "How can I take him away from here knowing that?"
Nolan just gaped at him in sheer disbelief.
"But you could bring him back once it's safe!" he desperately tried to reason with him, but Ash just stubbornly shook his head.
"I just can't do it" Ash said, unwilling to relent, "Pikachu needs to be here, so this is where we're staying".
Nolan wanted to shake him, he was being so pig-headed.
"And what, pray tell, are you going to do if... no, when Team Rocket gets past Misty?" Nolan demanded to know, frustration practically oozing from his tone and facial expression.
"Well then leave Welkin here to help!" Ash said in exasperation, as though it was obvious.
This time Nolan was the one to shake his head.
"I can't otherwise I would" the blonde boy argued hotly, "Welkin was only caught earlier today. He needs to get used to me being his trainer first before I go loaning him out to anybody else! It's really important!"
Ash merely shrugged his shoulders in response, infuriating the blonde boy even further.
"Then I guess I'll just have to manage without him" the raven haired boy announced, much to Nolan's aggravation, "Cause there's no way I'm leaving this Pokemon Centre! Not until Pikachu's better!"
Nolan didn't even attempt to resist the urge to throw up his arms in frustration. He couldn't believe that they were even having this conversation right now. He wondered if in the entire history of the Pokemon League, had two new trainers ever managed to get themselves into quite so much trouble on their first day. Shaking his head, Nolan opened his mouth to argue, but then sighed and closed it again without saying a word. He knew that there was no point. Ash Ketchum was practically the human embodiment of stubborn, and once his mind was made up, there was no changing it. Nolan knew he didn't have the time to try, so instead he settling for scowling heavy as he finally relented.
"Fine! You win! Besides, we don't have time to waste by arguing" Nolan's shoulders slumped in defeat, and despite the circumstances, Ash couldn't help but smirk slightly, "Alright Ash, you stay here and I'll go raise the alarm".
"Sounds good" Ash nodded in agreement.
"No it doesn't, but we're running out of time, so listen" the blonde boy ordered, and Ash renewed his attention on him, "Whilst I'm gone, you're gonna have to search through the centre and find Nurse Joy's Chansey. Remember, we said we'd send them down to help her".
"Got it" Ash nodded his understanding.
"Once you've done that, try and keep out of sight" Nolan continued, taking note of the brief flash of displeasure that crossed Ash's face at his words, "I know that hiding from a threat isn't really your style Ash, but don't forget, Pikachu can't protect you right now. He needs you to protect him".
Those words were enough to cut off any argument Ash may have had.
"Grrr... I guess you're right" Ash gritted his teeth, not liking the idea of hiding like a coward but realising that Nolan was right.
Pleased that Ash wasn't going to argue with him again, Nolan pressed on.
"I'll be back as soon as I can" the blonde boy swore as he gently plucked the exhausted Meadow off of the stretcher and hugged her close, "And be careful!"
Ash nodded at him seriously.
"You too" he replied, giving his oldest friend an incredibly strained smile, both of them praying that this wasn't going to be the last time they saw each other, "Now get going! Quick! Go!"
At his friend's urgent tone, Nolan nodded before turning to the doors. He set off running as fast as he could, ignoring the aches and pains in his legs. Crashing through the doors, he took off into the night, not daring to look back in case it broke his resolve to leave. He was coming back though. Once he had found help, he was coming back. Nolan just prayed that it would be in time.
The alternative didn't bare thinking about.
Meanwhile, whilst the two new trainers had been having their discussion in the destroyed reception, in a different part of the Pokemon Centre, another young trainer had been having an intense moment of her own.
"Keep it up Starmie! You're doing great!"
Misty's cheers echoed around the storage room where all of the pokeballs were previously being held. After Nolan and Ash had fled the scene, wheeling Meadow and Pikachu out between them, the orange haired girl had bravely stayed behind, determined to try and help her new friends by buying them enough time to bring reinforcements. So, with a few well placed taunts and jibes that would dent even the most indestructible of egos, Misty had managed to keep Team Rocket where they were, thoroughly distracted as they argued back and forth. Eventually however, the adult criminals had grow weary of the juvenile bickering, much sooner than Misty had anticipated.
That's when the battle started up again.
Sensing that she wouldn't be able to toy around this time like she had been earlier by sending out her Goldeen, Misty decided that it was time to call in the big guns. Namely, her own partner Pokemon.
Starmie, the greatest Pokemon that a girl could ever ask for.
Given to her as a Staryu on her tenth birthday, Misty had always cherished the gift that her beloved Grandma had gone to the effort of capturing specially just for her. The girl had loved it dearly, the unusual Pokemon immediately becoming her pride and joy, as well as her top priority. Before setting out on their own journey, Misty had taken it swimming every single day, and made sure to keep it in tip-top condition. She polished the jewel in the centre of its body every night before she went to bed, a habit she'd only grown more obsessed with after evolving it through the use of a Water Stone, which she'd purchased using the money they had earned from battling together. They had been together for so long now, they were family, and there was no other Pokemon that Misty would rather have at her side.
Especially at a time like this.
Now the two of them were doing their utmost to keep Team Rocket on the ropes, whilst cowering slightly behind them, Nurse Joy looked on over the battle anxiously, feeling utterly helpless as she willed the boys to hurry up in bringing them help. Although to be fair, Misty and Starmie seemed to be doing just fine without it.
"Koffing! Poison that... weird Pokemon with your Poison Gas attack!" James commanded as both Ekans and Koffing loomed over Starmie threateningly.
"KOFFING!" Koffing smirked as he began spewing out a dense green fog from all the holes on his body. The smelly cloud loomed closer and closer to the star-shaped Pokemon.
Misty knew that her own partner didn't have the same immunity to poison that Nolan's partner did, but the orange haired girl wasn't too concerned. She had a plan in mind after all, and was confident in it.
"Dispel it with your Rapid Spin!" Misty quickly instructed.
Starmie hovered up into the air before it began spinning. Faster and faster, within seconds its many purple points became a single blur. It had the desired effect. The airstream generated by the wicked fast motion was enough to cause the cloud of poisonous gas to disperse before it could reach Starmie. It hadn't been poisoned.
James let out a low growl of frustration upon seeing that the attack had failed, but Jessie was quick to follow it up.
"Ekans, knock that thing out with your Poison Sting!" the female criminal barked at her own partner Pokemon.
"EKANS!" baring his fangs, Ekans hissed and thrashed about as he fired a barrage of glowing purple needles towards Starmie.
Starmie let out a low moan of pain as some of the needles hit their mark.
"Same technique!" Misty said calmly, knowing that there was nothing worse that a trainer could do in a battle than lose their cool, "Defend yourself!"
Hearing the order, Starmie did a repeat of its earlier manoeuvre, and used its Rapid Spin attack to deflect the poisonous needles away from itself. Some of the needles ricocheted back towards Ekans in fact, who was forced to dodge his own attack.
That was the opening that Misty had been waiting for.
"Now Starmie!" Misty commanded as her partner expertly landed back on the ground just a few feet in front of her, "Hit Ekans and Koffing with your Psychic attack!"
Before Team Rocket even had a chance to blink, Starmie followed through with the command. Everyone watched in awe as all the light in the room seemed to be drawn into the beautiful jewel that was Starmie's core. The red stone shone with all the colours of the rainbow, before a brilliant blue glow shrouded Starmie's entire body.
Moments later, Ekans and Koffing were engulfed in the same ethereal light.
Wailing at the top of their lungs, the two Poison type Pokemon were lifted into the air, thrashing about in agony as the energy tore through their bodies like fire. The Psychic type attack was highly effective against Poison types after all, and it showed. Both Ekans and Koffing had their doubts that they'd be able to continue the battle after this. Doubts that were shared by both of their trainers.
"Ekans!" Jessie gasped in horror, appalled by the fact that her partner was losing to a twerpette of all people.
"Koffing, no!" James was equally as aghast.
"Hurry Meowth! Get in there and help them!" Jessie urged to the only other Pokemon that they had at their disposal.
The Scratch Cat Pokemon wasn't sure what to do, looking fearfully at the glowing, levitating forms of Ekans and Koffing who were still thrashing about and crying in pain. He didn't know much about the Starmie species after all, just that they were part Water type. Wait... water... that was it!
"Meowth! I got this!" he purred coyly as he got to work.
Leaping through the air with the grace that only a top quality feline such as himself possessed, Meowth jumped up on to the top of one of the shelves that had previously housed all the stored pokeballs. Crawling across it, the cute little Normal type Pokemon soon reached the large mechanical claw atop the transporter unit, which had deactivated after the final pokeball had been teleported away. With a grin full of malice, he jumped up on to one of them, clinging on as he used his whole body weight to drag it down. Misty and Nurse Joy were so preoccupied by the battle between the other three Pokemon that they didn't even notice him, nor did they see it when Meowth used his Fury Swipes attack to rip away some of the claw's protective metal coating, leaving some wires exposed. In one quick motion, Meowth sliced through those too, causing them to spark and crackle dangerously. It was only when Meowth began swinging the claw down low did Misty realise what was happening.
"LOOK OUT STARMIE!" she screamed in panic, knowing what it would mean if her partner was touched by the malfunctioning claw.
The warning came far too late though.
Without even a shred of mercy or remorse for his actions, Meowth laughed happily as he swung the claw down upon Starmie, jumping off at the very last second to escape being caught up in what was about to happen. The cool metal of the claw, not to mention the exposed sparking wires, hit Starmie head on. The effect was instantaneous.
Starmie screamed.
Misty could do nothing but look on in horror as her partner was electrocuted, volt after volt tearing through its body in what had to be pure, unadulterated agony. At her side, Nurse Joy gasped and covered her mouth with her hand, repulsed by the display of such malicious cruelty.
Team Rocket on the other hand were beaming in delight. Not only had Starmie been forced to drop its Psychic attack, freeing Ekans and Koffing and ending their suffering as a result, but it had also taken a devastating blow in the process. It was a double victory in their book, and they watched gleefully as their partners both picked themselves up off the floor. Ekans and Koffing both looked a little roughed up and tired, but it was obvious that they were able to keep going.
The same could not be said for poor Starmie.
The bejewelled Pokemon had crumpled where it stood, its limbs jolting about erratically as it trembled in pain. The red stone that formed the creature's core was no longer glowing with a heliotrope of colours, but instead was flashing ominously. It was more than apparent that it could no longer continue battling.
"No! Starmie!" Misty cried out in fear, rushing across the room and falling to her knees by her partner's side, pulling it into her arms and hugging it tightly as Nurse Joy joined her, "Oh Starmie... are you okay?"
Starmie let out a weak and feeble moan.
Reassured at least that it would be alright in due course, Misty begrudgingly pulled its pokeball from out of her backpack. She then pointed it at her partner's prone figure.
"Return for now and rest up" she said gently, stroking the strange creature's jewel lovingly, "You've earned it".
Starmie moaned again as it was returned to the confines of its pokeball. Putting the capsule back in her backpack, Misty then turned back towards Team Rocket. She levelled the smug Meowth with a glare filled with loathing.
"That was a cheap trick!" she snarled at him hatefully.
Meowth just arrogantly shrugged his shoulders, and Misty had to fight hard to resist the urge to strangle him with her bare hands.
"It worked out for Team Rocket, and dat's all that matters in da end! Meowth!" Meowth cackled gleefully.
Misty ground her teeth together furiously, scarcely able to believe that a Pokemon could do that to another Pokemon and actually take pride in it. It was enough to make her feel sick to her stomach, as it would with any decent trainer. One thing was for sure though - she wasn't going to let that stand. If it took her the rest of her life, Misty would avenge her Starmie and get even with Meowth for the stunt that he had pulled tonight. Nobody treated her partner like that and got away with it.
Sadly however, tonight wasn't going to be that night.
"Well this has been a real blast, but we've gotta fly" James piped up from across the room, smug condescension practically oozing from his tone.
"That's right" Jessie nodded in agreement, smirking with dark humour, "We still have to pay that little blonde twerp for getting in our way earlier after all".
Misty and Nurse Joy both tensed at her words.
"You leave my friends alone!" Misty yelled furiously. She may have only met them earlier that day, but already they had been through a great deal together, and Misty already felt a connection with both of them. The last thing she wanted was to see either of them get hurt.
"Don't you go near them!" Nurse Joy added, just as protective over the two boys who had so bravely stepped up to help others in need.
The five members of Team Rocket just smirked menacingly at them. Misty and Nurse Joy both took a step towards them, to physically restrain them if need be, but before they could get any closer, James yelled out one final command.
"Smokescreen!" the cyan haired man exclaimed.
"KOFFING!" Koffing blew out a huge cloud of filthy black smoke, and just like before when Team Rocket had first invaded the centre, the entire room was engulfed. Misty and Nurse Joy both coughed and spluttered, trying to hold their breath until the dense fumes cleared. A few moments later, they finally did.
Once they could see again, they immediately found that Team Rocket was gone.
Misty let out a low sigh, realising that the criminals had used the thick fog to make their escape. A chilling shiver ran through her entire body as she realised this meant that they had already gone after Nolan for revenge. She prayed that the boy would be able to hold his own against them like he had before. The alternative didn't bare thinking about. Knowing that she had played her part, Misty was left with nothing to do but hope that reinforcements were on the way.
The only question now was... would they make it in time?
Nolan looked about frantically once he'd finished rushing down the steps that led up to the Pokemon Centre, emerging on to the street down below. The street was completely deserted, not a soul in sight, but that was hardly surprising. It must be getting on for midnight after all. The boy was just wondering what was the best way of going about his dilemma, when his icy blue eyes landed on the best possible solution. A phone box. Right at the other end of the street, under an aglow street light, was a phone box.
Nolan almost burst into tears of joy on the spot.
Cradling Meadow carefully in his arms, the golden haired boy took off down the street like a Rattata with its tail on fire. All but throwing himself into the tiny glass cubicle, Nolan then shifted his beloved partner into the crook of his arm, using his free hand to root through his jeans' pockets. Pulling out a sufficient amount of change, the boy hastily put some coins in the slot, and picked up the receiver. He quickly called the police.
"Emergency Services" a bored sounding female voice greeted him after a few agonisingly long seconds had passed by, "Which service do you require?"
"I need to speak with the Viridian City Police Department!" Nolan exclaimed urgently, "Immediately!"
"Patching you through now" the operator announced.
Nolan bit his lip anxiously as the phone started playing music to him, signalling that he had been placed on hold.
"Oh come on... come on" the blonde boy growled under his breath, nerves mounting with every passing second.
"Viridian City Police Department" a wonderfully familiar voice greeted him, and Nolan's entire body literally sagged with relief.
"Officer Jenny!" Nolan exclaimed.
"Nolan? Is that you?" Officer Jenny's voice was definitely surprised to hear his own.
"Yes, it's me!" Nolan replied, glad that he wasn't going to have to waste time explaining who he was and what he was about.
"If this is a social call, I'm afraid this isn't a good time Nolan" Officer Jenny informed him, unable to see what this could possibly be about since she had safely delivered him to the Pokemon Centre herself, "Didn't you hear my broadcast earlier? There was an aircraft belonging to a group of thieves, but now it's disappeared off our radar. I've gotta track it down as soon as I can, so I don't have time to chat".
The moment she stopped to draw breath, Nolan took the chance to get a word in whilst he could.
"That's what I'm trying to tell you!" the golden haired trainer exclaimed breathlessly, "I know who they are and where they are!"
A stunned silence met this declaration, so Nolan pressed on before Officer Jenny had the chance to interrupt.
"They're members of Team Rocket!" he informed, and even down the telephone line he heard the policewoman gasp in horror, "They're attacking the Pokemon Centre! Please, you've gotta help us!"
Officer Jenny's voice was gentle and reassuring when she replied a few moments later.
"I will Nolan, but first I need to get a few details from you" she replied in a professional manner, "Firstly, how many of them are there, and how many other people are in the Pokemon Centre right now?"
"There are two humans with three Pokemon - a Meowth, an Ekans and a Koffing" Nolan reported quickly, eager to get this over with so he could go back to help his friends, "I think that Nurse Joy, Ash and a girl called Misty are the only other people in there right now but I can't be sure. It all happened so suddenly".
"Wait... you're not in there with them?" Officer Jenny sounded puzzled.
A fresh wave of guilt washed over Nolan at her words. Whilst he knew that it wasn't the woman's intention, he couldn't help but feel like the question was more of an accusation. He shook the thought away quickly. Now wasn't the time for such things.
"No, I managed to get out" the new trainer explained, a worried edge to his voice, "Team Rocket smashed up the place, so I couldn't get to a phone inside the centre. I'm calling from a phone box outside on the street. Please come quickly! Everyone else is still in there!"
"Okay, I'm setting off now" Officer Jenny kindly assured him, "Now listen, I want you to stay exactly where you are until I get there, you understand?"
It was Nolan's turn to protest and argue this time.
"I can't do that!" The golden haired boy exclaimed, growing more frantic and borderline hysterical with each second he wasn't in there to help out his friends, "I've got to get back to everyone else! They need me!"
"Nolan, wait!" Officer Jenny tried, but it was no use. Before she even had the chance to say anything else, Nolan hung up the phone and rushed back out of the phone booth, quickly emerging back on to the street. He was going back to save his friends, and nothing and nobody was going to stop him.
He was just about to dash back across the road, mentally bracing himself for what promised to be a gruelling trek back up the stairs, when Meadow groaned and shifted slightly in his arms, causing him to pause for a second. She had taken a pretty intense beating from Team Rocket before, and he wasn't so sure that she was up for round two just yet. He didn't exactly relish the idea of dragging her back into a dangerous situation much either.
"Any point in trying to order you to stay out here where it's safe?" he asked his partner.
Meadow may have been past the point of exhaustion, but she didn't even pause before shaking her head.
"I didn't think so" Nolan sighed deeply, too mentally numb himself by this point to even attempt to convince her otherwise, "Alright, you can come, but stay close to me, okay? We may have only just become partners today, but I can't lose you Meadow - I just can't".
Meadow nuzzled him affectionately, her way of portraying that she felt the same.
With nothing else to say, Nolan then set off sprinting back towards the Pokemon Centre, more than willing to throw himself headlong back into the face of danger if it meant helping his friends. He only hoped that all of them were still alright, and that things hadn't taken a drastic turn in his absence.
The alternative didn't bare thinking about.
And that's Chapter 14 down : )
We're getting pretty close to being done with this episode now, just one more chapter to go : ) Then I can move on and get some of the more exciting parts of the characters' journey underway : ) That being said, I really wanted to include that battle scene with Misty, since when I re-watched the canon anime episode, it honestly felt like a scene had been cut because we didn't get to see her hold off Team Rocket like she said she would.
Anyway - time for another voting topic : ) Now I know this might be a little soon after the last one, but it's another new Pokemon vote. Since I have defeated Misty in my Nuzlocke and gained access to Cut, I've been able to explore a lot more of the Fire Red Map, and so I've gone ahead and caught quite a few of my first encounters for the new routes and areas. The reason why I've done this is so I can get you guys to vote on them quicker, which in turn will allow me to better plan out and pace the story, so the next couple of voting topics are probably gonna be voting on new Pokemon. Those are my favourite kind anyway, so it's all good. Anyway, here are the options : )
Pokemon Options -
Route 13: - Oddish - Male - Adamant Nature - Chlorophyll Ability
Route 3: - Jigglypuff - Female - Timid Nature - Cute Charm Ability
Route 16: - Spearow - Male - Calm Nature - Keen Eye Ability
Again, I really think that there's only one Pokemon to pick here, especially considering that I deliberately waited to get a Route 3 encounter after I had access to the Safari Zone to enact the Dups Clause ; ) That being said, it isn't my decision to make, so please help by leaving a review to vote for which Pokemon you want to see Nolan get this time : )
Lastly, I just want to say thank you for reading this chapter, and I hope you are enjoying the story overall.
Until the next time, keep on reading : )
