Klaus, Hayley and Hope all stood in the field. Anticipation filled their minds as they mirthlessly watched Davina rehearsing her incarnation. Klaus licked his lips, sighing deeply. "What the bloody hell is taking so long?"

Davina looked up, a deep scowl on her face. "If this wasn't for Hayley or the fact that I married your brother, I wouldn't even be here right now." It's been two years since the Hollow was defeated. They had everything they needed for the curse to be unbroken. Werewolves, witches and vampires weren't exactly scarce. One particular element did aloof them. A doppelganger.

Klaus didn't want to admit it to himself or Hayley for that matter, but the chances of finding one weren't in their favor, even with time on their side. He could tell how much she's missed her wolf side, being able to walk in the sun without needing a bloody ring. He supposed what she was facing was even worse than his curse.

His wolf nature had been taken from him long before he'd even gotten to know it, but for Hayley-that's all she's ever known. A part of her was taken. And she wanted it back.

"So why don't you shut up and let me concentrate" Davina raised her brows sarcastically before burrowing her face back into the books she brought with her.

She's no stranger to powerful spells, but this was a spell to unlock a code of magic that has been genetically passed down for millions of years. She had to get it right.

Hope grabbed his hand and squeezed it. "Dad, it's okay." She said softly. Klaus squeezed her hand back, smiling down at her.

Hope was indirectly the result of her mother's capture, torture and binding ritual. And she almost lost her to that. The thought of losing her mother to her foolish planning…it ate her up inside. Hope spent just as much time as the rest of her family searching for a way to break her mothers curse. Searching through every book she could get her hands on. And she found her answers in an unexpected place. Her uncle's journals.

Although her father didn't hide his past transgressions for her, he wasn't big on talking about them. She learned that to make hybrids the blood of a doppelganger was also needed. Funny enough, her blood was the perfect substitute for that. They didn't need a doppelganger, they had her. So here they are, in the middle of a ruel field, full moon on the horizon, waiting for Hayley's curse to finally be broken.

Klaus looked over at Hayley. Her arms crossed, holding herself, looking into the sky. And even as he began to speak, his eyes never left the cursed hybrid. "Why don't you see if Davina needs any help, hm?"

Hope looked between the two. She smirked softly. She'll admit, as a child she wanted her parents to be romantically involved, but as the years grew she saw how devoted they still were to each other even if they weren't together , it made her realize love doesn't have to equal romance…but that secret wish of her's was always on the backburner of her mind. Hope nodded and a soft 'okay' left her lips as she walked away.

Klaus hesitated before walking up from behind her, arms behind his back. They didn't look at eachother, but rather at the moon that shone in the sky. "You don't seem very excited, Little wolf" Hayley's lips formed a smirk. Even though the name wasn't as fitting as it once was, he never stopped calling her that. He knew how much she missed being a wolf and the nickname was the closest she could get to her wolf hood these past two years. Her smirk was short lived though.

"What if this doesn't work?" Hayley bowed her head. "What if.." Klaus furrowed his brows. He reached for her hand, raising it softly. He smiled while removing the ring from her finger. A powerful thought invaded his mind at this scene but brushed it off.

"You won't be needing this anymore because it will work." Hayley's gaze softened, becoming more steady. She did suddenly notice that he was still holding her hand, but she didn't really mind.

"We're ready when you are mom" Hope walked over to them. A little breathless. She was excited, scared, but mostly happy. Klaus looked at Hayley for confirmation. This was it, the moment of truth. Hayley walked over to the tied down vampire and werewolf. The one part of the ritual that made Hayley hesitant was killing an innocent vampire werewolf. So Klaus (even if he didn't really understand her reluctance) sired a town drunk and kidnapped a wolf who had apparently sold out her pack to a rival clan. After breaking their necks and ripping their hearts from their chest, she grabbed the vase that held the Trybrids blood. This was the second time she would have to drink her daughter's blood and she hoped it was the last. After chugging it down she dropped the bottle. She searched the sky, full moon coming out of its hiding behind the clouds. Her body bathed in its light.

Suddenly, she dropped to the floor, letting a scream burst through her lungs as her leg gave out.

Klaus smiled cunningly.

It was working.

Hayley let out another cry as her bones began to rearrange themselves in unnatural ways. Ways that would send any human to their death. Hayley felt her whole body on fire, she felt everything in her moving , changing, rearranging themselves with the little room they had to work with. They continued to poke and prick the inside of her skin. Narrowly escaping her major organs. When she was mid transformation Klaus suddenly felt him taking off his jacket, he kicked off his shoes as well.

"Dad?" Hope questioned. "What.." He turned to face her. His smirk gave her all the information she needed. And she found herself smiling. Hopping on one foot as she removed her shoes. They've never done anything like this before. Being that they both had control over their wolf forms they could pick when and how fast their transformations were. Klaus fell next to Hayley, and Hope next to them. They all wither in the ground in pain

. Fur grew at inhuman rates from their bodies. Their structural build changed, forcing the fabrics that clothed them to rip apart as their spines curved. The pain grew and grew until they could barely take it anymore, it was consuming. Then it stopped. And the next thing that was registered was the ground beneath their feet. The wind that brushed against their fur. Every micro sound, sent and feeling overwhelmed them, but it was welcomed. Three wolves running through the forests of New Orleans, the moon to guide and light their path.

XxXx

Hayley blinked slowly, she felt stiff, only then did she realize she was laying on dirt-and was fully nude. She rolled over so her stomach was pressed against the ground. She looked around and found Klaus laying beside her. Pack mentality, she thought.

He must have heard her movements because he awoke shortly after. He rested his cheek against his propped up elbow. He was also lying on his stomach. "It worked," She said with a breathless smile.

"I promised you, didn't I?" He said, a little chuckle on his lips.

Haylely tilted her head back, mouth parted slightly. She took the time to admire the parts of him she'd long forgotten..some parts even looked bigger then she last remembered. Even covered dirt and leaves, he was still handsome.

She surprisingly found herself flush a little, lowering her head as if to stop him from seeing. "Yeah, yeah you did.." her voice was quiet and soft. She looked up at him through her lashes. He squinted his eyes by an inch. As if trying to figure out what was happening here. After he saw her bite her lips for the second time he figured it out.

Klaus stood up, offering her a hand. "We should probably find some clothes and our daughter..in that order" Hayley looked up at him. Admiring his curly dirty blond hair, his lean, fit body, his sun kissed skin. She gulped while grabbing his hand. This wasn't the first time they'd been fully nude to each other. And, she wasn't very shy with her body or seeing a naked body for that matter. But something made her nervous, reserved. Perhaps because it wasn't just his physical attributes she was exposed to. She wasn't just seeing his physical form, she was seeing him . She was seeing the kindness, the love... She was seeing a part of him she never got to see the first time around. It was overwhelming, but got her craving more.

"Are you ready?" He asked.

With you, "Always"

...

Remember how this was a one shot? Not supposed to have multiple chapters?...heh.

For the last two nights instead of sleeping I've been thinking of writing this (cause inspiration won't hit when I want to write-no-only when I need to sleep)

I think I can speak for all of us when I say we wanted a scene were Klaylope had a werewolf running through the forest moment. Also, my knowledge of the Hybrid curse is very limited, because I have never watched an episode of TVD so if there are any continuity errors, apologies.

My urge to stop writing "Show me how to love you" and sorta mutate it with this ch.2 fic and make a post cannon Klayley story instead of writing a AU is VERY strong.

But Idk, because that would call for a lot of reconstruction and I don't wanna do it if no one would really be interested(..who am I kidding? I'd probably do it anyway cause I'm self indulgent like that?) Seriously tho, would anyone be interested in that?

Anywho, hope you all enjoyed this unexpected chapter!
