Crossing the River towards Dead Street
Takashi: There's no way I would've know. How could any of us have known? Even my mom and sister's former group never knew as well.
Aboard the might large airplane of the USA where the President of the Untied State and the higher officials closest to him are going through the trouble of the dead even in the air.
Zombies are approaching three people with one holding the gun trying to shoot their heads, then one young man came rushing in with a woman in a red dress to them while perfectly shooting the zombies down.
"Good job, Arashi Mikami! You saved the First Lady!" One bodyguard relieved.
"Yes, thank you so much!" The First Lady thanked.
"Just doing my job." Arashi saluted.
Arashi is a tall and lean-built light tan-skinned young man with short, spiky brown hair that has bangs longer than other bangs and green eyes. He wears a red and black suit with strong metal knee pads and a holder for his gun on his right hip, and a black helmet.
"Come on, we must get to the President at once." Arashi suggested, no one argued with the youngest and strongest security guard of the country.
Arashi and everyone else who aren't bitten and still able to move made their way to the President Suite room where the President himself and the Chairman are talking about the difficult choice.
"Mr. President, you have to enter the code!" The Chairman begged.
"I can't…" The President refused to enter the code, not want to make other people suffer more than they already have.
"Honey!" The wife of the President hurried over to him much to his relief as they hug each other.
"Oh no! Your hand!" The First Lady gasped upon seeing this on her husband.
"I'm sorry, I got bitten." The President revealed the bad news much to the wife's horror.
"Both of us have. Which is why I'm trying to get the President to enter the code for the ICBMs missiles." The Chairman said.
"Those missiles, do you really think that's s wise move even for a situation like this, sir?" Arashi asked.
"I know that you're feeling, but I'm afraid this isn't something that can be avoid. There's not a country on this planet that's going to let us land Air Force One on their soil! Especially when we got corpses of Zombies on board!" The Chairman pointed out.
"That's why we have to attack those countries who'd use Intercontinental Ballistic Missile against the US while we still can!" The Chairman said.
"Activating Triple Six Delta protocol might make things worse for them than there are with the zombies!" Arashi stated.
"That maybe so, but we must do what we can to protect America." The Chairman said turning back to the President.
"It's your constitutional obligation to protect the American people from foreign threat!" The Chairman pointed out fiercely.
But suddenly the Chairman start coughing up blood hard and his skin color is looking pale almost that of a zombie.
"Please… just end it!" The Chairman begged to end his life right now while he can still think as human.
Arashi look at the dying man seeing that he still thinks of his country and would do anything to keep it safe even when the decision may become hard for everyone, but he knew this man's heart is in the right place and gave the Chairman a salute while aiming his gun at the man.
"Mr. President… the code…" The Chairman said to his boss.
"May God… bless the Unite States of… of… of America!" The Chairman mustered his last words.
Arashi pulled the trigger and fired the bullet right into the Chairman's head killing him in one shot all the while he still had his humanity left before going full-on zombie, the President pray for his soul to Heaven as his wife sobs.
Arashi looks out the window thinking about the people he knew and worked with on these kinds of situations.
"(I hope everyone is okay.)" Arashi thought hoped.
(Japan, Takashi's Survival Group)
Leaving the house was a little hard on everyone, but they knew it was the right call when the Muscle Zombie came in and all came out okay as they are within the tank-car.
Morning is come and they are driving the tank-car through the river to get to the other side.
"Row, row, row your boat gently down the stream. Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily, life is but a dream!" Alice and Kohta sang.
The two are sitting on top of the tank-car singing the old Row, Row, Row Your Boat song to keep everything positive for the group, and because Alice felt like singing the song since they're going through the river and Kohta is up here for support.
"Aw, that song never gets old, doesn't it?" Oriha giggled as she and Saya are on lookout duty.
"Yeah, even in crap of the world we're in, kids like her should always be happy however you can make it happen." Saya stated.
Alice and Kohta continue singing the boat song until they reached the ending while the rest of the group are sleeping, except for Shizuka who is driving and Goryu is awake as well.
"Come on, let's sing it again!" Alice suggested.
"Okay!" Kohta nodded and they sing the boat song again.
"But there are things that can be annoying at times such as repeating the song over and over again." Saya muttered.
"All right, now let's do something a little different. Let's sing the filk version!" Kohta suggested.
"Okay!" Alice nodded.
"Brace yourself, Alice because this version of the song is more intense than the original!" Kohta smirked.
"Shoot, shoot, shoot your gun, kill them all right now! Bang, bang, bang, bang! Life is but a scream!" Kohta sang his own song and laughs believing it was a great hit.
"That was great, Kohta!" Alice laughed, thinking it sounded cool than the old version.
Oriha laughs of how silly her boyfriend is being with that bloody version of the song thinking that could be good while shooting down some zombies, but Saya didn't felt that way as she growls.
"Hey, ya fat otaku!" Saya yelled and slams her down on the top of the tank-car.
"Don't teach a little kid a strange filk song like that! Got it? Or else do you want to mess with the powerful ninja woman who is just as strong as Takashi's mom!" Saya warned.
"Okay, sorry…" Kohta exclaimed.
"Come on, Saya. Kohta was just playing around, he wanted to help Alice feel cheered up despite how shitty the world has gotten." Oriha pointed out.
"And from what I saw, Alice is having a blast with her big brother Kohta!" Oriha smiled.
"Well, that's true. But she's still a little kid, at least let her keep her innocent until she's older." Saya said to Kohta.
"I know, I know, but I think she's gonna be force to grow up." Kohta nodded.
"Then we'll have to make sure she doesn't grow up too fast." Saya smiled and kiss Kohta on the cheek making him blush.
"Wake up, everyone!" Shizuka called out.
"We're reaching the other side. It won't be long." Goryu informed which got Rei to wake up.
Rei looks at her beloved Takashi sleeping so peaceful with his mom and big sister as they are more of lovers than family, then she looks down seeing that Saeko is sleeping soundingly on his and Sayo's lap along with Konomi, Nao, Yuu, and Mikoto.
"(Oh boy, looks like Takashi got himself some more girls.)" Rei thought chuckled.
The tank-car drove up the slope with a small jump and landed on the ground making a full stop onto the other side of the river, but Saya and Oriha find this scene to be odd.
"That's weird, there's no one. Living or dead." Saya said.
"Do you think something happened either of them?" Oriha asked.
"Could be, but what exactly?" Saya wondered.
"Hey, everyone! Wake up!" Rei yelled as she shakes Takashi and the others causing them to moan as they slowly wake up.
"Good morning, Takashi!" Rei smiled at her boyfriend.
"Good morning to you too." Takashi chuckled and before going up to kiss her.
"Hey, we're our good morning kiss?" Sayo complained smiling.
"Now, now, Sayo. Takashi is only one man, but he got plenty of love for all of us." Yuko giggled.
"Yes, and it's also looks like some other girls were having wonderful dreams on you as well." Rei giggled as Saeko, Konomi, Yuu, and Mikoto are staring to wake up.
"Hmm, good morning, everyone." Konomi greeted yawning.
"Morning, I hope you girls were enjoying my body as a strong pillow." Takashi teased with a smirk.
The four girls were confused of what Takashi meant with that joke until they fully realize the sleeping position they were in; this causes them to blush very much upon this realization and even Saeko is embarrassed of noticing the drool from her mouth as she quickly wipes it off.
"Okay then, it's morning and time we got out. Not to mention for you girls to dress up too." Takashi stated.
"Oh, are you sure you don't want to see us in our small pjs a little longer?" Yuko asked a little lustfully as she pressed her breasts onto his back.
"Don't worry, there will be plenty of time for all that." Takashi smiled as he kisses her on the lips, then he moves onto his other girlfriends.
Everybody leaves the tank-car stretching their arms and legs to get in that good feeling of being free from the truck, and Kohta is just helping Alice down to her mom.
"Did you enjoy a good ride up there, sweetie?" Goryu asked.
"Yeah, Kohta and I sang the boat song too." Alice nodded.
"That's good to hear." Goryu smiled as she sat Alice down, then gave Kohta a death-glare telling him that she knows about the inappropriate song he sang to her causing him to gulp in fear and sweating hard like a pig.
"Okay, the girls are going to get change. You boys better do well on lookout duty and try not to peak at us, even though some of us are in a relationship with you two." Yuko stated.
"Got it." Takashi and Kohta nodded.
"You know, we've been through a lot over the past week. Makes you think we already got this whole zombie surviving thing down." Takashi commented.
"That's probably because of the blood pumping adrenaline though we're not relax right now." Kohta stated.
"But I think we're gonna need to up our weapons if some of us wants to ever stand a chance against those mutant zombies." Kohta pointed out.
"I know, we'll try pick up some supplies and equipment along the way to Saya's house." Takashi nodded, thinking he may need to upgrade his baseball bat or get himself a sword like his mom.
Meanwhile, with the girls as Shizuka pulls out two suitcases with Goryu and Yuko's help.
"Here, me and Nao brought out all the clothes we could get back from the house, so pick the ones you like!" Shizuka said.
"I also got some familiar style for some of you formerly from Black Label, like for you." Nao handed one set of clothes to Mikoto.
"No way, thank you very much!" Mikoto smiled.
Kohta didn't care if he was gonna get punish, he wants to peak at his girlfriends to see their naked bodies while changing into new clothes even though he already seen them naked back at the house.
"So, you feel like doing some peaking?" Kohta asked with a hand on Takashi's shoulder and holding up a thumb up.
"No thanks, I rather focus on surviving this shitty world until we find a safe place to hang." Takashi pushed the hand away and heard Zero barking.
"Feeling spunky in the morning, little buddy?" Takashi chuckled as he picks up Zero and pet him.
"But don't bark too loud, Zero. We don't want a repeat of last night." Kohta scolded.
"Come on, give the dog a break. I think he's just really angry at the zombies for hurting his previous owner." Takashi defended the dog.
"Well,… I guess I would be angry too if I was a dog like him." Kohta said understanding this.
"Anyway, here. It's a shotgun, so all you have to do is aim around their heads. You'll hit 'em." Kohta handed Takashi the shotgun.
"I like fighting more with my bat, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to have other skills just in case. So, how does it work?" Takashi asked about the shotgun.
"They're cartridges. The shells are basically a casing filled with little pellets. You only have to adjust the sight, find your target, then pull the trigger. You can blast their heads off with this." Kohta explained about to work with a shotgun.
"Trust me, even a gun moron like you can pull this off." Kohta mocked a little.
"Okay, so what about running out bullets and reloading them?" Takashi asked.
"When that happens, open this gate, so you load more like this. It's really easy. You can only load four bullets and have one in the cartridge chamber, so keep that in mind." Kohta answered opening the gate and loaded one bullet.
"There's another really cool feature with this gun, one of my favorites—"
"Okay, I think I'll figure out the rest on my own. Are there any warnings?" Takashi asked.
"Yeah, just one. The recoil is pretty powerful. This baby bucks." Kohta warned.
"If that happens, then I'll take out my bat and smack the zombie's heads right off!" Takashi smirked.
"Sure, just make sure you don't get bitten." Kohta said.
"Duh." Takashi assured his chubby gunslinger that won't happen.
"Okay boys, we're done!" Sayo called out.
Takashi and Kohta move around the tank-car to see how the girls are looking in their clothes, and they are looking very cute.
Saya is now wearing an outfit similar to the school uniform, consisting of a white jacket with the zipper positioned below her breasts and underneath a black tank top, and a green miniskirt.
Rei's outfit is almost the same with the black, thigh-high socks she had on being replaces them with knee pads, in addition to elbow pads. She wears a different green skirt and removes the bow from her shirt. She also adds white fingerless gloves and combat webbing to hang her M1A1 rifle on.
Saeko's clothing have changes to female battle boots with heels, long lace purple stockings, purple gloves, her school uniform top, a skirt that shows the string of her thong and her entire right thigh, and a special belt to hold her sword.
Shizuka is simply wearing a pair of checkered brown hot pants along with her white shirt.
Mikoto is wearing a white with shoulder pads leather jacket, a black scarf, bloomer and thigh high boots with heavy steel knee pads. And she wears blue sunglasses.
Yuu and Hinako are wearing their old school uniform only with them having elbow and knee pads while the latter is carrying a big backpack.
The rest of the girls are pretty much wearing the same outfits they've always worn as they didn't mind keeping their own style.
"Surprise to see you're gonna start using a gun, Rei. Despite it looking good on you." Takashi complimented.
"Thanks, I'm gonna have Mikoto teach me. Worse comes to worst, I'll just hit them with the blade on the gun." Rei stated.
"Takashi, Kohta, Sayo, Oriha, you four go up to see if the cost is clear. Single us and we'll bring up the Hum-Vee." Saya ordered and they nodded.
The four slowly climb up the slope of the side hill, looking at each other for a second before jumping up and aim their weapons on each other only to find nothing.
"All clear." Takashi said.
"Hey, you're good!" Oriha called out waving her arms.
"(Doesn't she understand silent operation?)" Saya thought glared at the girl a bit.
Shizuka drove the truck with Kyoka inside, and the ride up the slope was fast and hard that it jumps above Kohta and Oriha almost flattening them as they jump out of the way.
"Shizuka… How exactly did you earn your driver license?" Kyoka stuttered shocked.
"I just took the test like everyone else." Shizuka answered, confuse of Kyoka's scared reaction.
