Back with Matt & Gabby, as they relax in bed together after lunch:
Laying down close to his beautiful wife shortly after having lunch together, Matt smiled as he found himself stroking her leg while she was wearing some sexy lingerie. But Matt was really surprised as to which lingerie that she was wearing. And what lingerie was that? Oh, just her wedding lingerie. The lingerie that she was supposed to wear on her wedding night. But she ended up not wearing it due to the fact that she didn't feel good (she was pregnant on their wedding night). And that night, they ended up just taking it easy as they talked about the fact that they are going to be having a baby. And that was exactly what Matt wanted to do anyways. She was pregnant and he did not want her to overdo it. He wanted her to rest as much as possible. That was the responsible thing do for her both as her husband and the (then-future) father of their future son, Matteo James Casey. And he is glad that's the case.
Just looking at the wonderful man that she gets to call her husband, Gabby could tell that he was staring at her lingerie. "You are admiring the lingerie I am wearing aren't you?" Matt laughed and agreed with Gabby when she asked him if he's admiring the lingerie that she's wearing, which he is of course. I mean, it is so damn sexy, and he is so glad that they are holding each other close at the same time. Tugging Gabby closer to him, Matt smiled as he put his hand on her leg and stroked it with his thumb. "Are you kidding me? Of course I'm admiring your lingerie. It is very sexy, and it is just so delicate." Matt then proceeded to run his fingers down the lace lingerie. "God, where did you buy this?" Gabby snickered. "It came with the wedding dress. By the way, I still have that wedding dress and I expect a vow renewal someday. I want to wear it and get some wedding pictures with it." Matt laughed, smiling.
"Of course. Or we can get some wedding pictures done now. I mean it, whenever and wherever. Maybe we can do it at the same time we get our first family pictures." Gabby smiled and agreed with Matt when he said that, really wanting to do that. "I swear, we keep saying that we're going to get our first family pictures; yet, we haven't gotten to it yet. We keep pushing it down the line. Promise me that we do it before his first birthday?" Matt laughed. "Oh trust me, we will do it before then. Last time I checked, we already have a photoshoot scheduled for September when we can do it." Gabby was confused when Matt said that they already have a photoshoot scheduled in September. "What photoshoot?" Matt laughed. "Our annual Thanksgiving and Christmas Family Corporate Photoshoot?"
Gabby remembered that. "Right, sorry. I forgot about those." Matt agreed with his wife when she said that and smiled. Slipping closer to Matt, Gabby smirked while rubbing her arm. Stroking his arm, she smiled. "I really like the idea that we can get our family pictures then. Just not with the entire family. I just want it to be me, you and Matteo." Matt agreed with Gabby when she said that, leaning in to kiss her softly. Taking things nice and slow with the woman of his dreams, Matt smirked as he is really happy over the fact that they are both together. She is just so beautiful, and he is really happy about the fact that they are together right now. And even better, they're alone. "I am so glad that Matteo isn't here right now. Sorry, I know that sounds bad but…" Gabby shook her head. "Hey, don't apologize for that."
Matt just looked at Gabby when she said that, smiling at his beautiful wife. "I'm glad that we are alone too. I feel like recently, at least since Matteo was born, that you've started to ramp up your work schedule again." Matt took a breath when Gabby said that, knowing that this is something that might be causing a bit of tension in between the couple. "Are you mad about that?" Gabby took a breath when her husband asked her if she was mad about that. "I guess this is just something I want to talk about as I am not sure how I feel. I am not sure how I feel." Matt nodded when Gabby said that, deciding to move his hand away from his wife's leg to her hand. Grabbing it, he looked at the woman he loves like crazy.
"Gabby, don't feel like you can't tell me the truth okay? I want to know how you feel. I want to know the truth." Gabby agreed with her husband and just looked into his gorgeous eyes, loving how beautiful they are. "I am really not sure. I know that you are the CEO and that means that you need to work a lot. Yet at the same time, I also know that you want to be with me and Matteo more. So, I am not sure what to say. I feel like, if I say something…then it might either make you feel more guilty than you really are. I mean, you do feel guilty right?" Matt nodded. "Hey, of course I feel guilty. I want to be with you and Matteo more. I want to have a happy life. Yet at the same time, I feel like I have a duty to my employees." Gabby stared into her husband's eyes when he told her that, seeing something behind that.
"I just feel like, my loyalty lies in two places. I want to be home with you and Matteo more…and that would be amazing. But at the same time, I feel like it might do a disservice to my employees. You know the policies that I have at The Casey Group. I always tell my employees that we have an open-door policy between the lower-level employees and the executives. It allows for sharing of ideas more, and it allows our employees to give us ideas that can either make their lives easier or it can also allow them to give us ideas that they might want to pursue while staying at the company. That's something I pride myself on Gabby. If an employee of mine wants to pursue an idea they have, I like to back them up. Also, I do it for a selfish reason." Gabby was confused when her husband said that. "What's selfish about that baby?"
Matt smirked and laughed a bit. "If it's a really good idea that I think can make a lot of money, I want a piece of it. I want a piece of the pie when they might've developed the idea on corporate time. I even put it in their contracts. If they come up with ideas on corporate time, on corporate computers, using company resources, then they need to give us a piece of the pie." Gabby laughed and agreed with her husband when he said that. "Hey, that makes total sense Matt. If they create a great idea using your resources, then you better get a part of the profits. I am not going to deny that!" Matt laughed and just smirked when his wife said that. "I'm glad that you feel that way. With you being a former employee, it gives me reassurance that I am doing the right thing." Gabby smiled when her husband told her that.
"Hey, I am not just a former employee. I am still an employee. My title? Sr. Assistant and Chief Advisor to the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of 'The Casey Group'." Matt then smirked. "Maybe you can even add the title of Chief Lover and Pleaser?" Gabby laughed and smiled. "Yeah, I like that title. And it's true." Matt agreed with his wife when she said that. He then brought her body close to her and just smiled. "Okay, then I have a question for my Chief Advisor. What do you think I should do? What do you think I should do when it comes to the future of my company. Do you think I should continue with my more office-oriented approach to business? Or should I move towards a more work-from-home approach to business? And do you think that would affect the openness towards my employees' ideas?"
Gabby took a breath when her husband asked her that. "Well, they could still send you the ideas. But rather than tell them to you in the office, they can send an e-mail proposal to you. Maybe then they can give you more details. I mean, I find that I can always find more details when you read something in writing rather than hearing it verbally. I know that's how I learn better. I can do it easier at the end of the day. Having written instructions and lists are always better in my mind due to the fact that it gives your employees a roadmap as to what you are thinking in your mind. And you can always review the lists. And there might just be more openness to add ideas because then, you can just write it down and nobody will be able to laugh at you right away." Matt agreed with Gabby when she said that, nodding.
"There is just a lot of things that we also need to consider. I mean, what about people with disabilities? I have people in the HR department and the Office of Research, Innovation and Product Prototype Engineering Division, or RIPPED, that are disabled. I mean, they are using wheelchairs and stuff. Do we let them work at home too? There is just a lot on my mind." Gabby agreed with her husband when he said that, grabbing his hand once again and smiled at him. Playing with his wedding band, Gabby moved close to Matt and then leaned in to kiss him softly. Smiling at her loving husband, Gabby could tell that he was stressed. "Matt, you will figure it out. You always figure it out. I believe in you." Matt agreed with his wife and smiled when she said that. He then felt her get close to him and then went to wrap his arms around her from behind. Holding her close to him, Matt proceeded to leave a soft kiss as they relaxed in bed. "Sorry I am thinking about work when we are relaxing in bed with each other. I shouldn't be."
Putting her hand on Matt's hand, Gabby stroked his hand and shook her head. "No, it's fine baby. I know that this is our life. We are both executives at the company. And I don't care if I am just one of your assistants. I am also the co-majority owner of the company. And that means that I am an executive in a way." Matt agreed with his wife when she said that. "Yeah, you are. And you know what else that means? We don't have to be in Los Angeles as much if we start working from home." Gabby smirked when Matt said that, loving the sound of the fact that they don't have to be in Los Angeles as much anymore. "Oh, I absolutely love the idea of us not having to work in Los Angeles more." Matt agreed with Gabby when she said that, smiling as he kissed her back and held her close to him. So sexy.
Smiling when she felt Matt kiss her back, Gabby couldn't help but feel really happy right now. Matt truly is the man of her dreams and she is so glad that they are just having fun right now. However, what she didn't know was that they were about to be disturbed. Taking a breath after hearing his phone ding, Matt kissed his wife's back once again. "I can ignore it. We're in a moment right now." Rolling back over in bed, Gabby shook her head and smiled at her husband. She then put her hand on her husband's cheek and smiled as she leaned in, kissing him softly. "I know that it's important that you read that e-mail. It may be dealing with the company and it's infrastructure. Matt, you remember what I told you when it came to that? I said that has to be something I need to give you leeway on. So check your e-mail."
Matt agreed with his wife when she said that, kissing her softly. "God, I love you so much." Gabby smiled and agreed with Matt as she watched him roll over so that he can read an e-mail he just got.
Rolling over in bed so that he can grab his phone from his side table, Matt smirked as he got ready to read his e-mail. Sure, he may not want to read the e-mail (as he would rather be all cuddled up to Gabby), but he's glad that she understands that he has to for the security of his company. Picking up his phone, Matt opened his e-mail and saw that it was an e-mail from Manny Garcia, The Casey Group's Vice-President, Chief Brand and Press Relations Officer.

SUBJECT: Statement – Jay Casey Wedding
Hi Mr. Casey,
I recently found out that your brother got married in Las Vegas due to him having filed papers to have his share documents changed from 'Jay Casey' to 'Jay & Alex Casey'. I then also saw the wedding certificate and that it was not in Los Angeles. Rather, it was in Las Vegas with you not being in presence (I mean, I can only assume that was the case as you were not the witness on the marriage certificate), we have been getting questions as to whether there is a fracture in the family. This is due to the fact that they believe that Jay and his new wife Alex had to get married in Las Vegas rather than in front of his family. I am not sure whether that is the case, but I was thinking that maybe we can send this out.
TO THE PRESS:
It is with great joy that, Mr. Matthew Casey, his wife Ms. Gabriela Casey, Ms. Christie Casey, send their joyous congratulations to their brother Jay Casey, and their new sister-in-law Alex Casey. While they may not have been at the wedding as the wedding was very last minute (and previously scheduled commitments), they are regardless, full of joy and are elated that their brother is in love and happy with his new wife. No questions with regards to this personal, family matter will be answered at any future press conferences.
-Manuel Garcia on behalf of The Casey Group and The Casey Family
Let me know what you would like to do boss. Thank you.
Manuel Garcia
Vice-President, The Casey Group
Chief Brand and Press Relations Officer
After reading the e-mail that Manny just sent him, Matt smiled due to the fact that he was right on tract with just what he needs to do. Rolling over in bed, Matt smiled. "It's from Manny." Gabby looked at Matt when he said that. "Manny being…" Matt laughed. "My Chief Brand and Press Relations Officer. The guy who does my press." Gabby agreed with her husband when he said that and smiled. "What does the press release say?" Matt then proceeded to pass his phone to her so that he can let her read the statement that Manny was thinking of sending to the media. Afterwards, Gabby looked at Matt. "I swear, that man is a genius. That is a great statement. And the way that he can just craft that statement is perfect." Matt laughed and agreed with Gabby when she said that. He then kissed her softly.
"I am going to write him back. Maybe after, I can give you as massage?" Gabby agreed with her husband and smiled when he said that, liking that idea. "Maybe first, we can keep talking about the idea that you are going to put forward for the work from home idea?" Matt smiled. "I think I already explained it. Maybe instead, we can take things slow with each other?" Gabby agreed with Matt and smiled. "Maybe we can start writing our the proposal then?" Matt agreed with Gabby. "I need to call Tyler James. I will e-mail him afterwards okay? I will tell him that I want him to get information on that." Gabby agreed, smiling.

SUBJECT: RE: Statement – Jay Casey Wedding
Hi Manny:
You would be correct in assuming that we were not present at our brother's wedding. But at the same time, we are happy for our brother due to the fact that he seems to be happy once again. Ever since his late fiancé died, he has been depressed. And if his new wife makes him happy, then we are going to be happy for him. Now, with regards to the statement that you sent (and want to send to the press on our behalf), I think that the statement that you wrote is the perfect statement for us to send out to the public. And you are a great head of press relations. Thanks so much for taking it upon yourself to put this forward without me even bringing this up. Thank you and please send this out.
Matthew Casey
Chairman and CEO, The Casey Group
Putting his phone back down after he finished sending a reply to Manny, Matt smiled as he got close to Gabby once again. "So, we were going to talk about the idea for working from home?" Gabby smirked when Matt asked her that. She then grabbed her hand and smiled as she stroked his hand. "I just think that we need to think about what your family will think. Are they going to be okay with the idea of us working from home? Think they are going to work from home too? And how are you going to do board meetings?" Matt took a breath when Gabby asked him that. "I think that, maybe I would have to commute for that. Or, I can figure out a way for us to do meetings from home." Gabby smirked when her husband asked her that. "I love that idea. I mean it. It just sounds perfect, and I am so glad that we are going to be working from home." Matt smiled. "I will have to talk to my siblings of course."
Gabby looked at Matt. "Really? Even when you are the CEO? Baby, I think you have the ability to decide whether you can work from home. I mean, just try it out for a bit. If you like it, when you can talk to your family about it. Heck, maybe they want to do it too. Christie is always complaining over the fact that her husband believes that she isn't home enough. And she's a mom, I think she would be the perfect one to bring this to first. She would understand how you feel. Wanting to be home more with Matteo." Matt thought about what Gabby told him and just smiled. He then proceeded to grab her hand and just smiled as he stroked her hand. "How did I get so lucky to have you as my sexy, brilliant, gorgeous wife and the mother of our son?" Gabby then slipped close to Matt before putting her hand on his cheek.
Leaning in, she smiled and proceeded to kiss him softly. Taking things nice and slow with the man of her dreams, she smiled. "I think that all of your staff are going to love working from home." Matt smirked and agreed with Gabby when she told him that. "Yeah, that might be really nice for them. And I know that they might like the fact that they are going to be home with their families more. I know that there are a lot of dads who work for my family company. And as a dad, I think that I want to support them, and I want to let them be with their kids more." Gabby agreed with her husband when he said that. "Not just the dad, I am sure that the moms are going to be happy. Oh, and the wives who are taking care of their kids while their husbands are at work." Matt smirked when Gabby said that, agreeing with her.
He then proceeded to stroke her hand with his thumb and smiled at his beautiful wife, happy that they are both going to be together (and with their son) much more often. "I think that is something that I am going to appreciate more and more as Matteo grows up. Being able to watch him grow up and watch all the milestones as they happen. His first steps, his first words and just a bunch of things that we are going to cherish when he grows up." Gabby agreed with her husband when he said that. She then put her hand on his chest and smiled as she leaned in, going to kiss the man of her dreams softly. Taking things nice and slow with the woman of his dreams, Matt wrapped his arm around Gabby and just smirked due to the fact that they are both together right now. "I love you." Gabby agreed with Matt.
"I love you too. Now, I believe we were going to have a conversation about stress I am having." Matt took a breath and agreed with Gabby when she said that, ready to talk to her about that.
"So, what do you want to talk about when it comes to that?" Gabby sighed. "Listen, you just agreed that we are going to be working from home more. And I love that idea. But that also comes with the fact that maybe it also means that we can rethink where we want to live." Matt nodded and agreed with Gabby when she said that, already expecting this conversation to come up due to the fact that he knows Gabby is a bit miserable here. "So, what do you want to talk about when it comes to that?" Running his hand up and down Gabby's leg, Matt smiled as he stared into her eyes. "Well, since we are being honest with each other, I want to just say that I really like being here in Malibu. I am not sure what you think but…" Matt smirked when Gabby started to talk about how she likes being in Malibu a lot.
"You want to start living here more instead of being in Los Angeles?" Gabby took a breath when Matt asked her that. "I just want to explore that idea. I mean, Los Angeles is always so busy. And it is hard to really relax there. We are always close to the office and…I know that this is always the case since you can work here at home, but you are just a lot closer to the office. If there is ever something really bad that happens, you can just go without even talking to be about it. I know that I shouldn't complain about that. Heck, I want you to do that because it shows how great of a leader you are. It shows that you care a lot about your company and all of your employees. It's one of the things that make me fall in love with you." Matt smiled and agreed with Gabby when she said that. He then looked into her eyes.
Afterwards, Matt when to grab her hand and intertwined their fingers. Stroking her hand with his thumb, Matt smiled as he is really happy that they are just here together. God, she is just so damn beautiful and she is so glad that they are here. "So, what are we thinking? We are going to move here on a more permanent basis? Like, we might live where?" Gabby bit her lip. "What would you think about that? Would you be okay with living here in Malibu? I mean, if you ever need to go to Los Angeles for a meeting or something, we could go down there and stay for a few days. And if you need to travel, we can do that too. Heck, I think I saw a helipad down the street." Matt agreed with his wife. "Yeah, at Pepperdine University. I am not sure whether we can use it or not." Gabby agreed with her husband.
Rolling over, Gabby proceeded to go grab her water bottle. Taking a sip, she realized that it was empty. "Shit, it's empty." Matt laughed when Gabby said that. "Here, let me have it." Gabby was shocked. "Really?" Matt nodded as he leaned in and then kissed his wife softly. "I will go fill it up." Getting up, Matt smiled at his beautiful wife while just wearing his boxers this afternoon. Giving Matt her bottle, Gabby smirked as he looked really hot while just wearing his boxers. "Oh, I love the sight of you in boxers." Matt agreed with Gabby when she said that and smiled while grabbing his own water bottle. "See you in a minute." Gabby agreed with her husband and smiled when he said that, watching him walk away in his tight boxers. Meanwhile, Matt proceeded to make his way downstairs to the kitchen to fill up both of their water bottles.
