Back in Malibu, as Gabby wakes up from a nap:
Waking up in bed after taking an afternoon nap, Gabby looked around the room to see that it was 2:30 in the afternoon. God, what happened? She thought she was just relaxing in bed. That's when she heard Matt speaking on the phone while he was sitting on the back porch that they had right off of their room. "Yeah, so I am thinking about it and I just wanted to put it to you first Jay. I know that I need to ask you about it. I just want you to think about it. Or…" Jay then proceeded to interrupt his brother as they spoke to each other on FaceTime. "No, I get what are you are saying and I actually really like the idea of moving digital. I mean, it would help so much for productivity. And also, it would move away from a Monday-to-Friday business week. God, that is so hard for some people. Especially when I am trying to deal with people in New York City. They always want to do 9 am calls. That is pure torture for me in LA!"
Matt laughed when Jay told him that. "So, that means you have to be up at what? 5 am?" Jay agreed with his brother when he asked him. "Yeah, I do. I want to be ready for my 9 am meeting. Do a quick workout from 5-to-5:30, a quick shower at 5:30 and coffee and breakfast until 5:50. Then, I spend the last minute to get ready for my day." Matt was shocked when he heard his brother say that he gets ready for the day. "Wait, you stay awake?" Jay shook his head. "No, I just get it ready. After the meeting, I shut it off and then go take a nap. Well, that was how I used to do things. I am not sure what it's going to be now due to the fact that I am married now." Matt agreed with his brother and took a breath, not really thinking about that yet. "Yeah, I have been trying to avoid that topic." Jay agreed with Matt.
"Do you want to talk about it? How I met Alex and stuff?" Matt agreed with Jay. "Jay, I am just worried. Listen, I get you have dealt with more stuff than me. But we have both lost a fiancé and I didn't do what you did. You rushed to Vegas and got married to a random woman. God, I am trying to be happy for you Jay but…it's also a bit frustrating due to the fact that it was so out of the blue. And I know you didn't mean for this to happen, but it's turned into a PR nightmare. But I am trying not to tell you about that. I am your brother first and I don't want you to bother you with that. I want to be happy for you." Jay took a breath when his brother mentioned the fact that he is having some trouble, well aware that was the case. "I'm just glad that you aren't considering demoting me from my position as Deputy CEO for CP."
CP referring to 'Casey Policing'. They use short term for quick conversations at times. But, back to the conversation. "Not that I could. It was in dad's will." Jay was shocked when he heard his brother say that. "Really?" Matt agreed. "It said…'upon his 30th birthday, my son by Jillian Halstead, Master Jay Casey (né Halstead) shall be given the rank of President and Deputy CEO of a company in which he is best suited to run. This decision shall not be made by his brother Matthew Casey, whom I hereby appoint as the Future CEO of The Casey Group upon his graduation from a reputable School of Business with a bachelor's degree in business management.'…so, I had no choice but to appoint you to the position of 'President and Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Casey Policing' as it was the part you were suited for."
Jay just laughed when his brother said that. "Oh shut up, you like the job I'm doing at the company. I have turned it around and made it very profitable!" Matt agreed with Jay when he said that. "Oh, tell me about it. I love how much money you make me Jay. But back to what I was saying, you seriously should've called me. And you are also going to have to speak with Allen." Allen being an Honorary Vice-President and Deputy Chief Legal Officer-at-Large at 'The Casey Group' while also being the Senior Partner at the Law Firm Ellsworth-Jacobs & Associates (the law firm which the company, and the Casey Family, has retained as they personal law firm for anything non-corporate related). However, Allen is also retained as a Corporate Lawyer in case something is mentioned at the corporate meetings.
This is for client-attorney privilege reasons. But this is not a legal story. Rather, it is a story related to business. And right now, Matt needs to concentrate on the fact that he wants to take his company much more digital. Well, after they talk about the fact that Jay is now a married man. "So, what was it like at your wedding in Las Vegas? Was it fun?"Jay laughed. "It was fast, simple, and easy. So much easier than what you and Gabby had. I will say this. The church wedding that you guys had at 'The Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels' was gorgeous. Yet it was so big, and it was not what I wanted. It was something that I wanted. It was perfect and I am so glad that we did it that way." Matt agreed with his brother. "Okay. I am just glad that we figured out a way to spin it so that we aren't in trouble." Jay agreed with his brother when he said that, smiling at him. "Are we in a better place now? Or are you still mad at me?"
Matt laughed when his brother asked him if he was mad at him, still thinking about it. "I don't think I can be mad. I mean, you are in love, and I am glad that you found somebody new. I mean, I know that you were heartbroken after all that went on. But now, you are looking much better." Jay agreed with his brother when he said that. That's when Gabby decided to get up out of bed and make his way over to Matt and Jay. She wants to add something that she knows is another reason why he can't be mad. The reason? Because he knows that she is a sucker for love, and that she thinks this is faith. It was faith for Jay and Alex to meet in Las Vegas. And now, they are married. Gabby then went to grab one of Matt's shirts and put it on. Walking over to Matt, she smiled. "That, and he knows that he will get in trouble if he is mad at you as I am happy for you." Matt then turned his head and smiled at Gabby. "Hey."
Gabby smiled as she looked at Matt, seeing that he has the blanket they keep on their couch over his lap. Looking at the blanket, Gabby motioned for him to open it. Realizing that was what Gabby wanted, Matt proceeded to open the blanket and smiled at her. Once that was done, Gabby sat down in Matt's lap. Wrapping her arm around his shoulder, Gabby smiled as she cuddled up to him. Afterwards, Matt tugged the blanket up on top of them both. She then slipped her legs in between his and leaned back against his chest. Afterwards, Matt wrapped his arm around her and put his hand on her leg. Moving his iPad to his other hand, he held it up so that the camera was showing both himself and Gabby to Jay. Meanwhile, she laid her head down on his chest and just cuddled up to the man she loves like crazy.
At the same time, Matt turned his head and kissed his wife's forehead softly. God, she is so beautiful, and he is so glad that this is what she decided to do. "So, Jay, when am I going to meet this new wife of yours? Is she nearby?" Jay laughed when Gabby asked him that. "She's actually taking a bath right now. Ever since she's moved here to Los Angeles with me, she's been obsessed. She loves the bath and she is so glad to be out of that life." Gabby agreed with Jay when he said that. "Wait, what life?" Jay sighed when Gabby asked him that. "She used to be a stripper." Gabby was shocked. "Oh, you married a stripper?" Jay sighed. "It wasn't her choice. Please, don't judge her. There's a lot of information you don't know. I just…I saved her from that life and now, we're happy with each other. It's what matters."
Matt agreed with his brother when he said that. "Well, I'm glad. Now listen, I know that you don't like this but…I was talking to my brother about something. Do you mind?" Gabby shook her head. "No, go ahead. I am just going to cuddle up to you." Matt agreed with his wife, wrapping his arm around her. He then turned his head and smiled as he kissed her forehead softly. Afterwards, Matt looked at his brother. "So listen, can we go back to what I wanted to originally talk to you about? The whole digital part? Are you okay with that Gabby?" Gabby looked up at Matt and agreed with him. "As long as I can cuddle up to you, yes." Matt agreed with her and kissed her forehead softly. "Move back to bed or no?" Gabby laughed when her husband as her if she wanted to move back to bed. "Do you mind Jay?"
Jay shook his head when Gabby asked him if he minded if she and Matt moved back to bed, smiling at her. "I'm actually in bed with Alex right now. She's taking a nap next to me. Hence the earbuds." Gabby was shocked when she heard that, staring at her brother-in-law as she went to steal her husband's iPad. "NO! Did you already knock her up Jay!" Getting up from her husband's lap, Gabby walked away to go lay down in bed without Matt. Meanwhile, Matt looked at Gabby. "Gabriela!" Gabby then turned to look at her husband, not happy that he was arguing with her. "Matthew, come over here and get in bed. I am already going to get in. And I am talking to your brother." Gabby then turned her attention back to Jay. "Wait, are you guys already expecting a baby?" Jay then went to speak to Gabby. "Slow down Gabby!"
Gabby then listened to her brother-in-law. "She's tired because he's still getting used to being awake during the day. In her previous life, she was like vampire. Her nighttime was our daytime. And her daytime was our overnight if that makes sense." Gabby then realized that as she walked over to her and Matt's bed, taking a breath. "Yeah, that makes sense now." Getting up, Matt proceeded to grab the blanket they were just using and then folded it. He then set it down on the back of the couch before making his way over to bed so that he can join Gabby in bed this afternoon. Turning her head, Gabby smiled as she looked at her husband and just watched him. Meanwhile, Matt got into bed with her. Wrapping his arm around her, Matt smiled as he slipped close to her in bed this afternoon.
"Here, give me my iPad and I can hold it again." Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that. He then got close to the woman he loves, slipping down in bed while cuddling up to her. Afterwards, he watched as Gabby got close to him. Wrapping her arms around her handsome husband, Gabby laid her head down on Matt's chest and grabbed the covers. Wrapping his arm around Gabby, Matt smiled as he turned his head and then bent down to kiss the top of his head. God, this is already perfect, and they are both really happy over the fact that they are alone. "Now, back to what we were talking about." Gabby then looked up at her husband. "The business?" Matt agreed. "I need to get my brother on board. Then, we can outvote my sister. Remember, anybody with a share in the company and veto a resolution."
Yes, you heard that right. Shareholders in 'The Casey Group' have a veto when it comes to decisions made on the board. But that makes sense. I mean, they are the ones who benefit from the decisions that are made by the board. If something goes wrong, then they are liable for the loss. However, a veto can be overridden by a 2/3 majority vote of the Board of Directors. (So, they rarely bring up matters until they know that it will pass. Therefore, the Board of Directors is basically a rubber stamp on decisions that are made by the corporate officers in the company). But back to Alex and Jay right now. "So, is she glad to be out of that life?" Jay agreed with his brother when he asked him if Alex is glad to be out of the life that she used to live. "Yeah, she is. But we aren't really talking about that life anymore."
Matt agreed with his brother. "Let me guess, you would rather talk about the proposal that I am going to bring up to the board? Oh, and how it's going to work?" Jay agreed with Matt when he said that. "Oh, I need to know some information. You want to move this digital. How in the world is that going to happen? Are we going to work from home too?" Matt agreed. "Oh yeah. I want to work from home so that I can be with Matteo more often." Jay agreed with his brother when he said that. "Yeah, I figured that was the reason why you want to move to work-from-home." Matt agreed with Jay and smiled when he said that. He then felt Gabby wrap her arms around him more. Grabbing the covers, Gabby tugged them up and just smiled. Afterwards, Matt tugged the covers up and just smiled as they are cozy.
"So, it's obvious that we are going to need to have a lot of major upgrades to our servers and stuff. And I am going to want to make sure that we are keeping it safe after the hack. What are you thinking when it comes to that? Where are we even going to put these servers? They are going to need to be huge." Matt agreed with his brother when he said that. "Well, we already have a deal with IBM and I am going to be talking with Isaac Michaels some more to see if he can reach out to IBM and see if they can help us out." Isaac Michaels being a non-voting member of the Board of Directors ex Officio as the representative of "Casey-IBM Server Manufacturing and Installation Group, LLC", a 50/50 partnership with IBM. It is going to be the company who will be making the new servers for the Casey Group. "I have the deal in place."
Jay agreed with his brother. "How did you already agree to that deal?" Matt sighed. "Our deal with Apple was coming to an end at the end of the year. And I wasn't liking the software. It was just so hard when we want to use Microsoft. And then, we have to set it up in certain ways, and it was hard. So, I made a deal with IBM to make a new server. Originally, we were going to wait until June 2018 when the deal was up. However, I already told Apple that we are ending our deal early using the 'Security of the Company' clause in the contract that allows us to get out if we are hacked. So, I already e-mailed the lawyers and told them to give Apple our notice. They are aware and they are done. I also told them that we are going to be bringing IBM early due to the hack. Even better, they are going to pay for a bit."
Jay agreed with his brother (again) when he said that. "Heck, they should pay for most of it. It was their servers that failed." Matt agreed with Jay when he said that. "How about you reach out to our legal team so that you can see if they can do something?" Jay agreed with his brother when he said that. "I will make sure to do that. Now, what does that mean for us. We are talking about a lot of changes. And you are talking about us being able to work from home. Are we only going to have servers at the office? Or are we going to have our own servers at home." Matt then though about it and took a breath, unsure of what to tell his brother. But at the same time, that is a good question. Should they have servers at home. "I think that is something we're going to need to talk about since that is a good idea honestly."
Jay agreed with his brother. "I am just thinking for practicality. That way, we aren't connecting to it wirelessly. That was the entire problem that we have. I think we need to really look into also redoing the wiring in our offices. Or heck, just getting a new VPN might work. I am not sure what I am even talking about, yet I am still speaking." Alex laughed when her husband said that, rubbing his chest. "You sound like you know what you are talking about baby, so don't put yourself down." Gabby agreed with her new sister-in-law when she said that. "Why is it that men always put themselves down when they think they are in the wrong? Oh wait, that's women! Jay, you are turning into mush!" Jay looked at his sister-in-law when she told him that. "At least I have more muscle that your husband." Matt just laughed. "Army."
Jay agreed with his brother when he said that. "Yeah, still. You have a bunch of time on your hands, get in the gym!" Gabby looked at Jay when he said that. "Do you really think that he has a lot of time Jay? Jay, he has a son, he has a wife, and he runs a business. Do you know how much time that takes? And how much stress he puts on? He needs to rest Jay!" Jay agreed with his sister-in-law when she said that Matt needs to rest. "I am sure that he does. He works really hard for the company, and I am really glad. I mean, a lot of the decisions that need to be made. Heck, I feel the pressure and I am just doing it for a division of the company. I can't imagine just how stressful it can be for the CEO. God, that must be a lot." Gabby agreed with Jay when he said that, smiling as she turned her head and looked up at her man.
"And me and Matteo are both very proud of this man that I have the honor of calling my loving, amazing businessman husband." Matt smiled when Gabby told him that, proceeding to bend down so that he can kiss the woman he loves softly. Taking things slow with Gabby, Matt smirked due to the fact that she is very sexy. And at the same time, he really didn't care if his brother was watching them. He has made out with his wife in front of them while they were here before. He is going to keep doing it now. And they are not going to tell him that he can't do it when they are in the privacy of their own home. A home that they plan on living in much more often. "Okay, break it up lovebirds. So, with this new work from home stuff. Are you guys going to travel more or something?" Matt smirked when his brother asked him if he and Gabby were going to travel more. "I mean, we could travel more." He then bit his lip.
Turning his head, he looked down at Gabby. "But I think we'll just end up staying around here more. We might live in Malibu more often rather than LA. Heck; we may even sell the house in Los Angeles." However, Gabby was not a fan of that. "OVER MY DEAD BODY! We are not selling that beautiful house in Los Angeles, I love that home and it is the home where we did a bunch of firsts. We brought Matteo home there. And it's the home in which we'll bring our daughter home to as well." Matt agreed with his wife when she said that, not ready to argue with her anymore. Rather, he is just going to agree. Turning his head, Matt proceeded to kiss his wife's forehead to get her to relax. "Take a breath and breathe babe." Gabby agreed with Matt, smiling when he told her to breathe. She then laid her head down.
Turning his head after Gabby laid her head down, Matt went to speak to his brother. "So listen, I was also going to bring something up to you, and I want your opinion on this. I was thinking that we could file a lawsuit against our current server providers so that we can get damages." Jay was shocked when he heard his brother tell him that he wants to sue their current server providers for damages. "Really? And what are we going to do with the money say we win? Are we going to put it towards the new equipment?" Matt agreed. "Well, future equipment. You do realize that it may take a while. But, I would like them to cover the fees and/or the costs that we need to incur for a replacement system. I am trying to talk to Logan Matthews about it…" Logan Matthews being the company's Chief Legal Officer.
"…and I want to just see our options. I want to know what he thinks we can do." Jay agreed with his brother when he said that. "Yeah, I think that you should contact him. Or are you going to contact our law firm? Ellsworth-Jacobs & Associates." Matt agreed with his brother when he said that, smiling. "Yeah, I think it might be better if we contact our outside counsel. That way, we can let our lawyers that work for us concentrate on other cases. I want our lawyers to be more patent lawyers. Anyways, they are better at contracts than our lawyers, they are pros in this. I am so glad that we have them. But at the same time, I need to put it to the board. I have to say that is one of the rules I am not glad that Philip Michaels brought in while was still the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at our company."
If you forgot who Philip Michaels is, Philip Michaels is the former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of 'The Casey Group', a position that he held after the death of the brothers' father (okay, murder at the hands of Matt's mother). And he held the position until Matt graduated from Business School (and finished being a firefighter for a while) and took his rightful position as 'Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Casey Group'. A title that Matt holds to his day. And he loves his job (but you already knew that due to the fact that you can see the passion he has when he talks about it). Heck, even Gabby can see it. But she also knows that he will always love it. But now, back to the rule that former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Philip Michaels brought in when he was in charge of the board of directors.
The rule is that, which regards to any legal action (or changes to legal counsel), the entire board must approve of the new law firm and/or agree that a lawsuit should be filed. The reason? Each of the companies may be at risk of loosing money should a ruling go against them, and it may hold each individual company liable. Now, what do we mean by that? Well, you see…there's a reason that Matt is the CEO of a company called 'The Casey Group'. That means that he is the head of a GROUP of companies rather than a single company. The way it works is, The Casey Group is the owner of many subsidiary companies. And each other those mini-companies have their own revenue sources that are protected from another's mini-company resources. So, when a lawsuit is brought, it is strategic.
If somebody brings a lawsuit against 'The Casey Group' as a whole, they can get access to ALL of the assets (the things that the company owns) if they win the case. But, if somebody brings a lawsuit against the subsidiary company (for example, 'Casey Policing' for this scenario), only the assets of 'Casey Policing' is up for grabs. Meanwhile, all of the assets of 'Casey Firefighting', 'Casey Homes', and 'Casey Investments' (yes, the company also has a company that invests in start ups and/or other companies), are protected through their own bank accounts. So, if an action is known as Davis v. Casey Policing (for example), only the assets of Casey Policing are at risk. It's a whole other matter if it's against the entire group. But that's a story for another time (as there have been chances where there are times like that).
But, back to the conversation that Matt is having with his brother now. "So, do you think that the board would approve it? If so, do you think that you should get the ball rolling ahead of time? I know that it takes a while to get these lawsuits started." Matt agreed with his brother. "I want to have the backing of a few more board members before I even try and put it to the board. I already know that I have you. Maybe my sister, but that's it." Gabby looked up at Matt when he said that. "You also have Tyler." Tyler (once again), being Tyler James, the Chief Technology Officer for The Casey Group. "Babe, he's a non-voting member of the Board of Directors." Gabby then realized that. "Right, so he's just an advisor." Jay then laughed. "Still, they do make good money. They make over $250K per year!" Gabby was shocked.
She then looked up at her husband (again). "Where's my 250K per year?" Matt was confused. "Excuse me?" Running his fingers through his wife's hair, Matt was confused. "Why do you get $250K per year?" Gabby looked at her husband. "Because I am an advisor to you on a daily basis when it comes to the company." Matt laughed. "You want to know why you don't get that $250K per year?" Gabby nodded. "Why?" Matt smirked. "It's because you have access to my bank account. A bank account in which over $15 million was deposited last year." Jay groaned when Matt said that. "Can you stop bragging that you make $15 million a year. I make only over $2 million per year. Heck, can I buy more shares in the company from you? I feel like me and Christie should get a bit more since we have a job like you."
Gabby then thought about it. "Could you take some away from the investor's return?" Matt then looked down and nodded. "Yeah, I could. Reduce the amount that they own from 10% to 5%. Give each of my siblings 2.5% shares in the company." Jay was shocked when I said that. "Just 2.5%" Gabby then looked up at her husband once again. "Maybe we can bring down our share too baby. I mean, we do make a lot of money. Do you want to bring us down to 51%? Maybe we can get Jay to buy some of our shares? Or heck, maybe we can just give your brother another 10% and we stay at 60%. He can pay us back by giving us the land he owns next to our place here. The one he wants to build a new house on." Matt smirked and then went to speak to Jay. "What do you think of that deal Jay?" Jay was shocked.
"You want me to give up the land that I have next to you so that you can have more room?" Gabby agreed. "I want to build a house there instead now." Matt was confused when his wife said that. "Why?" Gabby smirked. "We can build you a mini-office here with boardrooms and stuff. Oh, and my mom can get a house on that land. She can leave it there and stuff." Matt was shocked when his wife said that. But at the same time, he really liked the idea as it was interesting. "I actually quite like that idea." Jay was shocked when he heard his brother say that. "Wait, you want your mother-in-law to live right next to you?" Matt agreed. "Babysitter right across the lawn. And the office sounds even better. That way, I can just want to the office. And I can still keep business out of the house. That is something that I really like the idea of." Gabby smirked when her husband said that. "And I have another idea for that."
Matt smirked when his wife said that. "Oh, and what's that?" Gabby smiled. "Maybe you can add a server up here? Get a bigger one that you can use. I know you have the one in the basement here. But if you ever want more, you can use that place. And you can make it an office. And maybe your brother can just have a condo here. I mean, when we are you really going to come here Jay? Mostly for Christmas and summer breaks. You are an LA guy." Jay sighed. "I am starting to think about staying out there more to help with my PTSD." Matt was shocked when heard his brother mention his PTSD. It isn't often that he mentions his PTSD, so he knows that something's up now. "You okay man? Is it acting up again?" Jay sighed when his brother asked him that. "It's been acting up since Hailey was killed. Reason for extra."
Matt already understood exactly what he meant. "Hey, I get it Jay. I am so sorry that's the case." Alex then proceeded to speak to her husband. "I'm sorry too baby. You should've told me. I know we just talked about it. But remember, I am your wife and I am here to help you Jay. Please, rely on me to help you through this okay?" Jay agreed with both his wife and brother when he said that. That's when Gabby chimed in. "You got a keep there Jay. I am sure that Alex is really going to help you out with your PTSD." Jay agreed with Gabby when she said that. "I think so too. But listen, I am going to let you guys go so that me and Alex can talk about it okay?" Matt agreed with his brother when he said that, taking a breath. "Of course man. Send me an update how you are. And we will figure this out sometime soon."
Jay agreed. "Yeah, we need to get the server stuff figured out. But still, I think we need to look into getting individual servers at all of our places. Well, those of the executives. I want them there at least since that may be easier for us. Then, we can access our files and everything from afar." Matt agreed with his brother (again), really liking that idea. "We will definitely do that. Now listen, you talk to your wife about your PTSD okay? We will talk about all of this later. If you see anything, send me an e-mail and we can talk." Jay agreed with his brother when he said that, proceeding to hang up the call.
_
Shortly after hanging up the video call that he just had with his brother, Matt took a breath as he laid back in bed. But at the same time, he couldn't help but think about how bad he feels for his brother. He knew the feeling he was having all too well. It was a blast from the past that he was feeling right now. The time where he was so sad and so depressed. That time? It was the time where he was grieving for his (late) ex-fiancé Dr. Hallie Thomas. But now, he has his wife and their son. So, he is really happy. But at the same time, he can't help but think about that time right now. That's when Matt felt his wife grab his hand. Stroking his hand, Gabby smiled as she looked up at the man she loves. "You okay." Matt nodded as he proceeded to intertwine their fingers. "I can't help but think about that same time."
Gabby looked at her husband when he said that, a bit confused before remembering what time in his life he was talking about. "Oh, that time." Going to kiss his wife's forehead…Matt agreed with her and just sighed. "Sorry, I hate bringing up that past time in our lives." Gabby shook her head when her husband told her that. She then slipped up his chest and bent down to kiss her husband softly. Matt then proceeded to put his hand on his wife's neck and just smiled as he kissed the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. Gabby then whispered to her husband and smirked. "Do you want to have a bit of fun to try and cheer you up?" Matt smirked and agreed with his wife when she said that. He then rolled over and proceeded to lay his wife down on her back. Putting his hand on her stomach, he stared down into her eyes before thinking about something. "You sure that you want to do this?"
Gabby put her hand on her husband's cheek when he asked her that, confused as to why he was asking her if she really wanted to do this. "Baby, why wouldn't I want to make love to you? You are my husband and the man of my dreams." Matt agreed with his wife when she said that, smiling at her. He then hovered over her before proceeding to put his hand on her body again. Staring into her eyes, Matt smiled before feeling her lean her forehead against his. He then bent down and proceeded to kiss the woman of his dreams. "God, I am so glad that we are alone. Nothing like a bunch of fun." Gabby agreed with her husband, smirking when he said that. Bending down, Matt proceeded to kiss the woman of his dreams softly. That's when he remembered something. "God, I just remembered something."
Gabby was confused. "What?" Matt smirked as he looked into his wife's gorgeous eyes. "Tomorrow is 1 week until you get to celebrate your first Mother's Day." Gabby was shocked when she heard her husband say that, smiling at her husband. "God, that sounds amazing. I still can't believe that's the case." Matt agreed with his wife and smiled when she said that. "Looks like I need to get the nursery ready here by next weekend." Gabby smiled and agreed with her husband when he said that. "Yeah, yeah you do." Matt smiled when Gabby said that. "I could always hire somebody." Gabby stared at her husband when he said that. "Over my dead body. You are going to make our son his nursery here. I let you do it in Los Angeles, I am not letting you do it here. This is our family home after all."
Matt agreed. "So, does that mean that I can turn the home in Los Angeles as a corporate event space?" Gabby laughed when her husband asked her that. "We'll see. First, we are going to ask my mom if she wants it. I mean, the place is gorgeous. If my mom wants to see her place and live in our old place, then I think we should let her." Matt thought about it. "Or I can offer it to my mom." Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that and took a breath. "Baby, you haven't brought up your mom in a while. Is there a reason you are bringing her up?" Matt took a breath when his wife asked him if there's a reason why he's bringing up his mom. "She wants to meet Matteo."
