The Millennium Falcon jerks as the ship gets caught in the massive Star Destroyer's tractor beam. The crew swiftly grabs their weapons and ready for the upcoming fight. None of them are going down without a fight.

In the hangar bay that the Falcon was getting dragged into, stood hundreds of troopers with their weapons drawn. The ship slowly set on the ground producing a loud thud. The ramp slowly lowers and with a fast hiss, the door opens. Blaster fire starts to pour out the door as the Falcons crew starts to fire. Chewie instantly gets hit with one of the many stun bolts from one of the troopers as they got a lucky shot. Leia swiftly turns and heads to where the unconscious Luke lay. She processed while watching Chewie get hit with the stun that the troopers were going to continue to advance. The least she can do is protect her injured friend till she is no longer capable of doing so.

Stormtroopers continue to advance rapidly now. Lando fires his blaster back at the troopers and does his best to not get hit. His efforts soon become in vain as he gets hit and becomes unconscious. A smaller group of troopers board the ship followed by Darth Vader.

Vader strides into the Falcon and is met with the face of Princess Leia.

"You won't hurt him, Vader," Leia spits venomously.

"That is not my intention." He swiftly moves his hand and the troopers fire.

The troopers drag Leia out of the ship and bring the prisoners to the detention block.

"Call for a medical capsule, tell them to wait outside the ship until I say."

The rest of the troopers turn and disembark the Falcon at Vader's orders.

Vader stares at the unconscious boy wondering about how much his child had endured without him there. Now being able to see Luke so close he sees a string of fresh scars stretching across the boy's face. With his gloved robotic hand, he gently touches his son's face. Almost as if he is afraid that the boy will shatter at his touch. He inspects the scars and feels a rush of immense anger at the thought that someone or something would dare do this to his own flesh and blood. Swiftly, he turns and leaves the ship. Stepping out of the ship he motions for the medical team to enter the ship. Once they exit he follows them to the Destroyer's medical wing.

Luke became aware of his surroundings suddenly, but for some reason, he could not entirely grasp them. He could hear blaster fire close by and can hear someone running toward him. He attempted to open his eyes and failed to do so as if he were not entirely conscious. He soon registered it was Leia who was running toward him, what had happened, he didn't remember going to sleep. He attempted to open his eyes and failed yet again, then there was the sound of the armored imperial troopers entering the ship. He was about to attempt one last time until the realization hit him. He's still unconscious, then how is he aware of all of his surroundings? Then yet again the realization hit him. The Force, that is why he is completely aware of everything around him.

All of the sudden, he feels something on his face, causing him to escape his thoughts and return to the events around him. He registers the sound of mechanical breathing, a respirator. Was the feeling on his face a respirator? The Force whispers a reply with a serge of overwhelming darkness. Darth Vader, his father was now with him. The feeling on his face abruptly leaves and the sound of Vader walking away rings in his head. With the same speed that he became aware of his surroundings, he fell completely unconscious again.

Darth Vader stands observing the medical team work on his son. He surrounds the wounded child in a blanket of darkness, attempting to reduce the pain he had caused the boy. He looks down at his right hand. A hand he lost long ago in a lightsaber duel with Count Dooku at the beginning of the Clone Wars. Luckily Luke only lost his hand slightly above the wrist, unlike Vader who had lost the lower section of his arm directly at the elbow.

Anger soon filled him even more as he realizes what he did to his son. How could he do something that had caused him so much pain to his child, Pad- he stops himself no longer feeling worthy to say her name. He defiled their son, it feels like he disgraced her in a way.

Pain then filled him, he has not truly thought of her in years. Yes, he has had a couple of passing thoughts in the trough the past years, ever since he discovered Luke. Wondering about how Luke could even exist if he had killed her as his master had said. Or what had become of her considering Luke was alive, having believed that his unborn child had died with her at his hand. Those thoughts run through his head yet again but he pushes them away as he did before. The only thing that mattered now is his son.

Guilt fills him now, he did this to the unconscious boy. He was the reason that Luke is now injured and has lost something he can never get back. He is the reason his son grew up believing he was an orphan. He, Darth Vader, is the reason his son has experienced all of the pain he has.

A brief sound jerks him from his thoughts. He turns to where the sound came from and sees the frame of the small doctor. The Chief of the medical staff on his Star Destroyer, the only person he would trust enough with his son.

"My lord," the doctor says, looking at Vader. "He has sustained numerous injuries. Honestly, looking at the state of him and what little I was able to deduce with the examinations I have done on him so far, I am amazed he is even alive. Of course, you are aware of the recent loss of limb and extreme exhaustion. He also appears to have recently received multiple concussions, most likely within a few hours before we retrieved him. It is no surprise he was found unconscious, with the recent head trauma and stress from a most likely state of shock." The doctor gulps and prepares to ask his request. "Lord Vader, if I may, when the procedure on his hand has concluded and we continue to give him the needed medical care. Do I have your permission to do an even more thorough medical examination on the boy?"

"You may proceed with whatever medical examinations you deem necessary," Vader tells the doctor.
