The CXA and the client alliance, including the rescued survivors, all surrounded the remains of Mecha Rift Emperor.
"Our Thrones!" Hirume happily approached. "Yay!"
"Thanks duality, it's there!" Mitra Paramatman approached the Throne.
"Hey, Mr. Muzan..." The 14th Doctor called Magsarion.
"Yeah? What's it?" Magsarion heard it.
"We've all been through a lot since the Zero Point truly got destroyed." The 14th Doctor noted. "For me, I got kidnapped by a certain... uh... Loopers... uh, what Loopers?"
"Those kind of Loopers you're trying to refer is the results of that something has happened to Yggdrasil, the World Tree computer that contains and runs the multiverse. As a result, the various universes have been put in 'safe mode', time-looping until Yggdrasil can be repaired. Each universe's loop is maintained by the presence of an Anchor, a core person from that loop who is the first to notice their universe is looping. There is always an Anchor in a Loop." Deadpool explained. "As repairs to Yggdrasil continue, more people in each universe begin Looping as well, but are not necessarily aware participants in every Loop; only the Anchor is so blessed... or cursed. Your mileage may vary. Characters that are aware of the Loops and retain memories of their previous go-arounds are termed 'Awake'."
"Lengthy explanation, lol." The 14th Doctor smugly replied. "Same name, different stuffs."
"Yeah. Ritsu Owaga? Do you mean the one with mask and dagger?" Deadpool asked about it. "What about... Dark Geass?"
"See, several crossings and fusions being dragged into this horizon, all pulled in by the Song of Rifts." Saya declared. "You saw the demonstration! Now you know the power of 101 Embryo Project!"
"Calm down, the one of the same name." Azure Saya pointed her guns towards Saya. "Or... bullet dance."
"Good. We did it." The Foundation declared. "We defeated the Rift Goddess. Now it's time to kill her."
The Queen collapses her visor. The Cube Queen, wearing the Seven armor, approaches the Rift Goddess with the staff, Reality Render.
"For the reality!" The Cube Queen stabs the Rift Goddess with the staff, and causes a reality breaker for execution.
But it didn't work. In fact, it has no effect on the Rift Goddess whatsoever. It's unscathed, and the Cube Queen is shocked.
"What!? She's still fine and all!?"
The Cube Queen redo the execution repeatedly, but it did really nothing to the Rift Goddess.
"Stop! This won't do!" Reinhard yelled.
The Cube Queen stopped, and jumped away. "Who will?"
The Hegemonies looked at Hajun and Hirume. "Do."
"—Om—" "Abokya Beiroshano Makabodara Mani Handoma Jinbara Harabaritaya Un. Vajra Thathuvan. Naumaku Sanmanda Bodanan Abila Unken Sowaka!"
"Tenchi Genmyo, Shinbe Hen Tsurikiji...!"
"Good idea, dude!" Ted of Fanfictasia exclaimed.
"Shoko Mandala..." Hirume chanted.
"Manji Mandala..." Hajun chanted.
"Yaoyorozu!", "Muryou Taisuu!"
The entire alliance and CXA (and the device containing the Throne) got protected by Hirume's Law. Hajun executes the Rift Goddess...
A while later...
The wasteland got darker, but the Rift Goddess is completely unaffected.
"Damn it! This could have overloaded targets to destruction, killing it!" The inhabitants of Fanfictasia complained. "Any unprotected survivors would be overpowered by narcissism and killing everything they can and even themselves!"
"What the fuck!?"
The Rift Goddess wakes up. "Ugh..."
Hajun and Hirume are both exhausted from the clashing of their Laws, straining them altogether. Pretty much everyone are flabbergasted.
"You... I'm surprised you managed to keep up with everything." The Rift Goddess snarked. "However, I already am overpowered. You are unable to affect me for real."
The Rift Goddess floats up, and magically undid all the atmospherical and environmental damages around here from today, except for the rifts.
"No! We don't care about your shit!" The inhabitants of the Last Reality complained.
"We're going to liberate this and save the reality, and you must not stop us." Mitra argued.
"You still refuses to know your true place." The Rift Goddess commented. "Dangerously disappointing, but not all that surprising."
"If you're thinking you'd be happy to rule the omniverse, ask yourself this:" Tsukumo-101 told the Rift Goddess. "Would your people other than your servants and soldiers be happy with the reign?"
"Stop caring, you bitch!" The Rift Goddess looks down upon the creature. "I thought you're better than this!"
"Yeah? I never loved you. You were suspicious." Agent Jones abandons Gene's body, takes out the armor and arsenal, keeping the Imagine Breaker. "And you went insane also because I shrugged you back then!"
"Uhhh... Can anyone recreate my body?" Agent Jones asked it.
"You're a ghost!?" The Seven is shocked.
"John Jones! You disappoints me whenever you gets in my way!" The Rift Goddess spotted the ghost.
"Actually, I spied you as a ghost, and snuck around Reality-2147483647!" Agent Jones revealed. "What body did I take? Gene the new God Hands!"
The Seven takes the God Hands to shows the Rift Goddess how.
"You... You dare...!" The Rift Goddess is enraged.
"Uh oh." Dr. Manhattan realized something.
Dr. Manhattan and his Fanfictasia variant both quickly teleported the entire alliance to the island, and the rest of CXA to their ships. The crew enters the Mecha, alongside the new Investigation Team and friends. Just in time...
"Enough!!!" The Rift Goddess bursts out, knocking everything away so far.
The island knocked into a Sideways Rift, and flew out. It (and then the Mecha) falls to the center of the Bermuda Triangle in MCU-616/Earth-199999. The alliance lied down on Artemis facing up. The Mecha fell down to near the Devoured.
Some time later...
"Ugh..." The crew and some woke up.
People got up and looked out.
"Oh great... She knocked us to here."
The Mecha is moderately damaged, but is slowly healed by the Chrome and spare Slurp collected earlier inside. Everyone else woke up at Artemis, dumbfounded by what happened just recently. They spent half a week staying to flush the stress (by hanging out) and to prepare for some further comeuppance towards the Rift Goddess. (In case you're wondering, yes, Dr. Manhattan liberated the Throne and brought it back.)
In the meantime...
"Ugh, I have to recalibrate everything I got wrong!" The Rift Goddess worked on fixing everything she found to have gone wrong that she can. "Oh wait, they took the Throne!"
The Rift Goddess briefly adjusts the rift crystals, and took the last three savior crystals.
"How do I project all the memories of their existence, without having to use anyone?"
The Rift Goddess suddenly got an idea...
"Why not give that celebrity a taste of her own medicine?" The Rift Goddess suggested Rift Tour. "But instead of hosting a musical concert..."
Everything is being heard by someone.
Day 26...
"The Pianist did it." Argalia, the Blue Reverberation (a fellow Color Fixer) told the Wright Anything Agency members.
Argalia explained how Angelica originally died... only for Master Chief to come in, interrupting him.
"Hey, we have some invites." Master Chief told Argalia. "Follow me."
Argalia followed Master Chief, went to the center Seven Outpost.
"Hey, what's up?" Roland greeted.
"Forgive me, but this... uh, why there are... lights?" Angelica wondered.
"It's similar to the invitation to the Library." Angela noted. "The Library is currently inside another Seven Outpost, and it emanated such light the same way as those light were experiencing now..."
"The difference is that the light we're dealing with came from a rift, and that's of different color, more like blue and purple instead of bright golden one." Angela continued. "Apparently, it feels like it's going to lead us to the Nexus of all Realities, or some sort of... anti-Library thing that's not like the City."
"Uhhh, it's hard to explain such thing, but still..." Angela took notice.
"Yeah, suddenly we all got invited into something." Roland noted.
"Oh yeah, and we cannot fly the island anymore." Angela noticed. "'Beyond the Edge' as a ship has been destroyed, and all that's left is the machinery and the full island itself."
"Uh... ummm... Can I... wait..." Argalia noticed something wrong.
Everyone looks up at the crack in the sky.
"Yeah, another rift." Master Chief confirmed. "The light inviting us is indeed coming from that."
"Which beg a question..." Argalia took the question. "What if... we manage to open wide it?"
"That's exactly what the Seven is going to do." Master Chief responded. "Go meet them."
So all went to the Seven, who built a Rocket to apprehend the crack. Master Chief told the Foundation about the light inviting the entire alliance.
"Huh. The Black Silence times two, or maybe one-and-a-half." The Foundation noticed Roland and Angelica. "Nearly a month after getting sucked into an omniversal conspiracy, and you still..."
"That's this, and this is that." Roland bluntly replied. "Honey is happy I could be happy for having forgiven a machine who did the deed just because she was suffering."
"Anyways, why are you aiming at the rift again?" Angelica asked.
"Actually, that's because we're apparently being invited." The Foundation replied. "The Origin suggested building a rocket for tactical purposes, so when we noticed, we took it."
"Geno is reconstructing the Collider to suck in Zero Point energy, this time as a way to counter the Rift Goddess." The Foundation continued.
"The Collider could've destroyed the island!" Roland complained. "What are you thinking!?"
"What's gonna happen to us? How the Rift Goddess are gonna deal with us now?" The Foundation responded. "Geno is preparing the plans and contingencies."
"Bruh... the case of your enemy's enemy being a friend of you..." Roland facepalmed.
"Excuse me?" Angelica told the Foundation. "Taking the Rocket to the rift, then use the Collider?"
"That's a possibility." The Foundation replied. "There's a lot going on, so we had to be prepared."
"Also, how are we gonna bring everyone?" Angelica asked again.
"The Rift may suck the entire island and it flipside." The Foundation responded. "And since the entire alliance, both old and new recruits, are all in there, everyone get sucked up in the rift."
"By the way, have you both learned your waltz?" The Foundation asked Roland and Angelica. "Black Silence, White Duet?"
"And yeah, I'm gonna talk to your brother." The Foundation then focused on Argalia.
"Ok. We already learned how." Angelica replied. "Your turn, brother."
"Hey, the Reverberation, what are you in the dark?" The Foundation asked.
"Hey, are you trying to... oh, I have something to ask you." Argalia noticed. "Saving the reality? Do you mean to fully bring Reality Zero back and fixing the omniverse?"
"Basically so. However..." The Foundation responded. "The Rift Goddess, the one before Ariana Grande, wants to rule the omniverse, with the Reality Zero and the Last Reality as her own kingdom."
"The Rift Goddess is insane, having becoming increasingly so ever since she first snapped at the very start of the first cycle." The Foundation continued. "She want us to either serve her or be erased. She's willing to erase all Loops once and for all, in the process and by proxy."
"If we kill her, we win, thus saving the reality." The Foundation revealed. "Only then, the entire omniverse can be fixed and restored, and we can go back to where we left, and do our fates there."
"Oh, so that's mean... my sister will die again?" Argalia is disappointed.
"Technically speaking, that would normally be the case." The Foundation replied. "However, the Continuum Exploitation Authority will store everything of our adventures all right, without messing with the realities itself."
"So after the end, you Seven, the Imagined Order and the Last Reality will go against each other, basically..." Argalia deduced.
"I did mention we will be able to go back to where we left, and continue everything happening and such." The Foundation noted. "That mean us Seven may be able to continue serving to save Reality Zero."
"Oh great... the Herald may still try to summon the Nothing!" Argalia responded. "Maybe, good luck with all that."
"Well, all the memories of our alliance's adventure against the Rift Goddess will all become utterly dormant by the CXA, so there won't be any extra contradiction." The Foundation concluded.
"Ok, that's basically all." Argalia concluded. "See ya."
Morning, day 27...
"Ok, nearly four weeks in, and we're ready to go to the rift!" The Seven reported.
"Ok, gather everyone across the island." David told all.
The entire alliance gathered in the center of Artemis, ready to take the invitation. The Rocket is about to launch.
"Everyone, David Martinez from Santo, edgerunner from Night City, here." David announced. "We need three more power crystals, and we need to kill the imbecile Rift Goddess. No, not that Ariana Grande. That one who destroyed the Zero Point."
"As one of the representative of this allied resistance, we will overthrow the Rift Goddess before she can truly rule the omniverse!" David continued. "It's because she's irresponsible, decided to be troublesome, and is too attached to the trivial things, and all that allowed her to get into her psychopathic road!"
"We're backed by the Continuum Exploitation Authority, and with that, we're gonna fix the omniverse!" David raised his fist. "Face the fear, save the reality!"
Everyone shouted and raised their things up, and did the countdown. After which, the Rocket immediately launched, and crashed with the crack in the sky at the middle, which is emanating the invitation light.
This made the rift explode, creating a gigantic portal on top, that sucks the island sides in, and brings everyone to it. Artemis and flipside, Apollo, floats up to the portal, and with all that, everyone entered the portal, entering whatever the Rift Goddess has in mind.
Little does anyone know, it was a setup by the Rift Goddess to abduct everyone and mind-probe them to learn more about the fate of the omniverse.
At this point, will everyone survive and end the Rift Goddess's reign of terror beyond all realities?
To be continued...
